A/N: Hey guys! It's Tara again. This is a story I have been wanting to write for a while now. It's another idea that was requested to me by Retro Mania, so my thanks and credit to him! :) In this story, you can imagine Samantha to look like Samantha from Bewitched, who she was modelled after. I do not claim rights to Gilligan's Island; that honor belongs to the late great Sherwood Schwartz. Please read and review, and without ado, please enjoy!

Fun fact: I chose the name of the story to be Wajaberuba because that is the name of the drug Samantha will take to change her face. I made the name wajaberuba from the phrase "Wajah berubah" meaning "face change" in Indonesian which many Polynesian languages are derived from.

The castaways on Gilligans Island were going on about their lives like it was a normal day. Just another regular day with no chance of rescue. What the castaways didn't notice, however, was that a parachute was falling from the sky onto the beach by the lagoon right above their heads. On that parachute was Samantha Barrow, notorious criminal bank robber.

Just as the castaways weren't aware of Samantha's presence on the island, Samantha was likewise oblivious to the fact that there were in fact human inhabitants present at the island. If she had been aware of this fact, she definitely would not have chosen this island to hide out on. The fact of the matter is that Samantha was in trouble - big trouble.

Samantha and her fiance - well, now ex-fiance - Richard had been two lovers who were in love with each other and money. Their deep love for money drove them to rob banks and anything else they could find in order to make themselves rich. The two Bonnie and Clyde type lovers had gotten away with almost all of their crimes. Almost all of them until...

Until Richard had ratted out Samantha to the police. It all started when they had robbed a bank, one of the largest they had gotten their hands on. After successfully robbing the bank, Samantha wanted out with the life of crime. She wanted to get married to her fiance Richard and live a happy life with the money they had already accumulated without getting into any trouble with the police.

However, Richard had a different idea in mind. What Richard wanted was money, and more of it. In reality, he had never loved Samantha; he only loved the money they got. So when Samantha refused to participate in any more criminal activities, Richard turned on her and ratted her out to the police, failing to mention that he himself was the brains of the operation they had operated.

Now, Samantha is desperate. She is lonely and heartbroken with no one to love her. Not to mention the fact that she is on the run from the police who think that she has single handedly robbed more than a million dollars worth of money. As a last resort, she sought out the help of one of her old acquaintances who was a pilot. His hands were tied and he couldn't help her in any significant way, but he agreed to drop Samantha on this presumed uninhabited island so that she could stay there as long as it took for her name to be cleared.

Samantha had taken any and all precautions in case she encountered any humans during her stay on the island. Her main precaution being wajaberuba, an experimental drug with exceptional qualities.

A/N: This is chapter 1. I know I have not even mentioned the castaways or wajaberuba in detail in this chapter, but I promise that will come on later on in the story. I just thought I should provide some background on my OC, but I promise this will not overshadow the premise of Gilligan's Island. The next chapter will focus on the properties of wajaberuba, the next few chapters will focus on the castaways' thoughts about their daily life, and the last few chapters after that will focus on the OC's interactions with the castaways. Until then please stay tuned and I apoligize for focusing entirely on the OC for this chapter and the next.

Look out for weekly updates every Monday!
