I tried to work on one of my other updates, but I have a request to write a sequel to Fading Reflection for Female Zoro and Mihawk is a favorite ship of mine.
Fading Dream
Zoro glares at Kuma. "I shall not allow you to take my Captain." She growled out at the large bear man standing before her.
The calm man stood before her looks down at her without blinking making her feel unedge. "What will you do to stop me from taking your Captain's head?" He question her his eyes staring down at her.
"I will take his place. Take my head in his place. For I will be as much as a threat as my Captain in the near future as my bounty is growing." Zoro told Kuma with grit teeth as she growls at him. He stands there for several long annoying minutes driving her insane as her body hurts all over. She feels like she wants to throw her guts up at this very moment. Fine. But you will take your Captains pain." He told her in a calm even voice.
She studies him giving him her best evil eye. "What guarantee do I have you wouldn't take my Captain when I am unable to fight you after I take his pain?" She question him as she arches her brow looking at the man standing before her.
"I do not go back on my word. I shall not go after you Captain. For I will not go against my own honor." Said Kuma as he raises his hand to his chest feeling offended at the green hair woman's question.
"Fine." Said Zoro but she froze when she smells smoke coming her way as she glances out of the corner of her right eye and there stood Sanji standing right next to her. "Don't listen to her. I will take her place. For I am stronger than she is." He told the man standing before them. But Zoro could see Sanji's body trembling like a leaf.
Gritting her teeth with a single swift movement she pulls her sword and strikes Sanji on his right side hearing his several of the man's ribs breaking from her forceful strike sending him flying away from her and into a broken wall knocking the man out. Her cold silver eyes move over to the bear man standing before her. "Now that he is out of is out of the way. Let me lead you to away from the others and we shall do this." Said Zoro with a glare on her harden face.
Kuma picks up Luffy slamming his paw print hand on the young Captain's stomach. A pink paw print bubble appears behind Luffy's sleeping limp body. Kuma drops the boy back down to the floor. "Then you shall take all the pain your Captain has endured during this battle." He told the swordswoman standing before him. But his eyes never missed the ring on her ring finger that matched the one his fellow Warlords. 'I only pray she survives this for Mihawk will hunt me down and have my head for taking his bride's life.' He thought to himself.
"Fine." Zoro growls out at him. "I shall do whatever it takes for you to leave my Captain and crew alone." She told him in a cold tone that left no room for no one to argue with her. She spun on her heel and lead the Bear Man away from her crew and family. They walked for several minutes. To where she felt that she was far away from them and they wouldn't awake from her painful howls and screams for the pain she will be taking from her Captain.
With Mihawk
A chill ran down the pale man's spine as his golden eyes look up into the sea that he is sailing. As he has been ordered to Marineford. 'What is this uneasy feeling that I am feeling?' He wondered to himself as he heard a ringing coming from his pocket. He feels his chest tighten as he pulls the snail from his pocket and answers it. "Hello?" He answers.
"Hey Hawky." Came the voice of one Red-hair Shanks.
"What do you want Akagami?" Question Mihawk with annoyance in his voice.
"Calm down. Calm down. I just heard from a little birdy that you had found a pretty young lady to spend your life with." Said Shanks with a shit eating grin on his face that is being mirrored by the snail in his hand.
He lets out a sigh. "Who was the little birdy that had told you?" He question the man on the other line.
The smile just grew large on the small snail he wonders to himself if it would break the poor thing that he is hold in his hand. "Well the funny thing is I was on your island during the Festival and Benn was the one that spotted you with a lovely green hair woman wearing a matching ring on her ring finger along with yourself. But we never heard word of a wedding though." He said with a snicker.
"Aye a green hair goddess did claim my heart on that island." Said Mihawk with a faraway smile on his face thinking about Zoro and planning to find her after he was done with his business with these fools.
"But isn't your green hair goddess the swordswoman of Luffy's crew?" Question Shanks with his devilish grin on the snails little face.
Mihawk sat quiet for a short amount of time. "She is. But Red-Hair. You must keep this quiet. For I do not want the World Government in my personal business." He told his annoying friend.
Shanks stops smiling as it is mirror by the snail. "Listen. Mihawk. You are my dearest and oldest friend. You where there for me when my Captain died. If it weren't for you, I would had been hung right next to my Captain. So I will not be running around and telling people about your personal business. The only ones that know about you and Zoro-chan is Benn, Yasopp, and Lucky Roo. None of them are going to be loosening their lips anytime soon. If anything Yasopp will be going around claiming the girl is his son's girlfriend." Shanks told him with a small teasing tone and smile on his face.
Mihawk closes his eyes and leans back into his throne like chair as he looks up into the sky letting out a sigh. "Thank you. The girl is very dear to me and tell Yasopp that she would most likely skin his son for that little white lie." He tells Shanks with a small smirk on his lips as his golden eyes snap up to a dot not to far away from him. "But I must end this call. For the annoying Marines are showing up to tow me to Marine Ford. For Shanks, a War is coming. They have the son of your late Captain. I had sent you a letter to tell you. But it appears it hasn't reached you. Blackbeard sold the boy to take over Crocodiles spot." He tells his friend.
"Very well. I shall see what I can do to aid the boy. As well I will let Yasopp know about him not lying about his son being with your lady." Said Shanks as click is heard and Mihawk hides his private snail that is untraceable by the government away.
Thriller Bark
Standing in a clearing with her arms cross over her chest covering her green bra as her white shirt was pretty much blown away from her trembling body.
"Mosshead where are you?" Came the voice of one person she really didn't want to see at this very moment. Hearing the sole of his steel toe dress shoe crunch the broken pieces of the castle that lays all around her. "Zo…ro…?" The blonde chef question with a choke in his voice.
'Stop shaking dammit.' Zoro orders her body as her body stops trembling; she slowly opens her silver eyes looking at sky blue eyes looking at her with terror in them. "I'm fine." She grumbles out at him.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Screams Sanji as he catches the body of the woman standing before him as her body goes slack as she passes out before him.
Just then he hears screams coming from behind him.
Luffy comes running up behind him with Chopper on his back. "San…ji…?" He gasps seeing Zoro covered in blood and blood all around them as he now looks around them.
"WE NEED A DOCTOR!" Screams Chopper as he runs around them.
"Yo…u… a…re… a do...c…t…or…" Said Luffy with a frighten trembling voice as tears stream down his face as he helps Sanji carry Zoro back to the others as Chopper snaps out of his own panic and orders them on how to carry the passed out girl in their arms.
Marineford
Mihawk sits in his own private room looking out the window. The ring he wears on his ring finger burning and his stomach tightening. A feeling an uneasy and unrest has him awake at 3am. An unholy hour looking at the full moon trying to figure out what was keeping him up. Holding his right hand over his heart as his ring glistens in the light of the moon's light.
"My beloved you are never far from my heart and thoughts. I just pray that nothing has happen to you while I am not at your side." Mihawk silently prays to himself as a knock is heard at the door of his private sleeping chambers at the hotel, he has request to stay at while around the Marines. Turning his golden eyes to the door he is using his observation Haki to see who is there. For only few know of where he stays while here in Marineford.
Turning on his heel he walks over to the door pulling it open to see the large bear man standing before him. "What is it Kuma?" Demands Mihawk.
"May I speak to you in private?" Questions Kuma as his eyes move down the hallway to a Marine that hides in the corner.
Mihawk allows a sigh to escape his lips. "Fine. Come in. But there better be important for I do not need any trouble for the Government at this very moment." He told the man that stands before him.
Kuma nods his head and ducks stepping into the room. He walks over to the chair near the table as Mihawk sits across from him as he picks up the long forgotten glass of wine, he had been nursing for the past three hours. "I have information about your betrothed." Is all that Kuma is able to say as Mihawk is now standing before him with Yoru in hand at the larger man's throat his golden eyes with a haunting glow to them.
"What are you talking about Kuma. If I were you, I would pick and choose my next sentence very carefully." Hisses out Mihawk with a tone of murder in it. "Sen Goku be damn about our statue of Warlords." He adds as his golden eyes burn deep into the black eyes looking back up at him.
"I just am here to inform you that I meet one Roronoa Zoro on Thriller Bark. She took her Captain's Pain. But I am unsure if she lives or not." Said Kuma as the blunt side of Yoru presses along the lager man's jugular. "What are you talking about Kuma?" Hisses out Mihawk as he eyes appears to mimic a wild raging beast ready to murder all around him.
"In exchange for strawhat Luffy's life. One Roronoa Zoro offered up her own life and dreams to save her Captain and Crew from me killing and taking them to the World Government." Said Kuma. "So in exchange for all their lives I offered her a deal. A deal I have seen many first-mates and other crew members turn down though out the years. I asked her if she would do anything to keep them all safe and alive. She told me yes and I pulled all the pain her Captain held within his body from the battle with Gecko Moria and his giant zombie Ores as well as other battles while on Thriller Bark." He said with a sigh.
"You best pray to your God that Roronoa lives from the ordeal you have placed upon her." Growls out Mihawk as he pulls out a small snail with a strange little device on top of it.
"Hello. You have there dashing Red-Hair Shanks." Came the voice of the man that he had spoken to earlier that day. His golden eyes moving over to the man that once sat in his room now gone. The door clicking to a close.
"Red-Hair I need you to hunt down Thriller Bark and check on Roronoa." Said Mihawk with a tone of voice that Shanks had never heard come from his best friend. The tanker once in his hand falling to the ground crashing the piece as he and his crew stop partying as they see the uneasy coming from their easy going Captain go still as a church mouse.
"What has happen and why do I need to fine that freak's island ship?" Question Shanks as now Benn and Yasopp along with Lucky Roo move their Captain to his private room for no one to listen in this private call.
"Kuma…He had forced all of Strawhat's pain onto Zoro…...But he isn't sure if she lived from enduring all of the young Captain's pain in trade to save the lives of all her crew and Captain." Said Mihawk as his right had moved up to his face as he pinches the bridge of his nose. Fighting an internal battle with himself to keep himself from crying over this call or to bottle it all in until he knows that his lover is still alive.
Shanks tighten his grip on the tiny snail as all the rum he had drank that night already burned away from just hearing those words from the man he has never seen any weakness ever come from. A man who had saved his life so many years ago. "We are not to far from where Thriller Bark is sailing. After that we will head for Marineford to aid in saving Ace." He told the man as he knew he had to do this. All else be damn and if anyone gets in his way during this time. They will pray that Lucifer have mercy on their souls as God has left this world to the Devils that roam this sea to live the life of freedom.
"Thank…you…" Said Mihawk as he hangs up as he falls back into his chair boneless from all the rare emotions raging though his body.
Thriller Bark
Luffy, Robin and Nami sit quietly as next to their now sleeping swordswoman. Luffy looks up to Robin with red tear filled eyes. "Robin…I need to call Mihawk." He tells the raven hair woman sitting next to him.
"Why is that sancho?" Questions Robin with a soft big sister smile on her face as Nami silently watching the two speak. As the other rest as it is almost 5am.
"Mihawk has to know of my screw up and that Zoro is pregnant and…...and…..." Luffy begins to cry as Robin wraps him into a carrying and loving hug. Luffy had over heard the other Pirates tell Sanji what had happen and the deal Zoro made. It broke the poor boy's heart.
"I'm fine Captain. Wh-what kind o-of F-first-m-ate would I-I be I-if I couldn't handle a-all this pain?" Came the shaky voice of Zoro as she opens her silver eyes to look at her crying Captain.
Luffy's head snaps up looking at the green hair woman laying before him with sad eyes. "ZORO!" He cries out. This awoke Chopper as the poor young Doctor had finally drifted off after Franky had built a machine, he needed to aid Zoro in her breathing.
"WHAT! WHAT HAPPEN!" Cried out Chopper pushing Luffy aside as he jumps onto the chair the boy once sat on to look over the young woman that is now awake. "Don't move Zoro you need to take it easy." He told her.
Zoro slowly moves her arm up to wave off the young doctor as hands pop up off the stone table the young woman is sleeping on. "I would do as our doctor orders Kenshin-san as your body has taken in to much trauma and you can risk losing the life growing within you if you move to quickly." Robin tells her in a calm reassuring voice that has the young woman looking up at her as if she has grown a second head.
"What?" Questions Zoro in a slight calm but panicked voice.
"As I looked your body over for all it's injuries. I saw your belly kept turning black every time I moved to touch around that area. Robin told me that your body was protecting your abdomen area with something called armament Haki. The same Haki we saw Ace us on Luffy in Alabaster. So I chose to run every test I knew, and it came back that you are Pregnant with Dracule Mihawk's child." Said Chopper with large watery eyes as he looks at her.
Zoro opens her mouth to speak to only snap it shut once more before she could speak once more. "Who all knows about this?" She question the young doctor.
"I, Luffy as he wouldn't leave your side. As well as Nami and Robin as they had to aid me in taking care of a lot of your wounds and injuries." Said Chopper looking always.
"Good. I do not need the others to know." She tells Chopper as she looks to the other three sitting right behind him. "I will take it easy until we leave the island. As well I heard Luffy. I will call Mihawk and allow him to know I am alive. But I will not tell him about being with child until we know that the child has made it." She told them all as they nodded their heads as Luffy's eyes locks with her own. "I am sorry Zoro. I got in your way once more." He tells her as he hangs his head in shame.
"No. Captain. I mean Luffy you didn't. I did what I did to save our crew. Stupid Sanji tried to take my place. But I knew when I saw him. He wouldn't live though this. I knew I had a better change of making it though this as he had already lost his will and told me to tell you all sorry and that you would need to find a new chef for the crew. So if I didn't do this. You all would have died, and I wouldn't and couldn't live with myself knowing I could have stopped the death of those I hold dear and close to me." Said Zoro with a gentle smile as Nami passes her a glass of water to drink before passing her a snail that Mihawk had special for her.
Marineford
Ring came from a snail he had been looking at all night. Not sure if he should call or not. His hand shot towards it baby snail answering. "Hello my beloved?" He question not sure what to say.
"Hello my love." Said Zoro in a weak and tried voice.
He notes the tone of his voice. "How are you doing my dear?" He questions.
"I have been better I feel like I have been slingshot by Luffy into the side of a mountain once more. But I shall be up and moving in three days. That is what Chopper is telling me. But he wants to drag me to another doctor in Sabaody Archipelago." Said Zoro with a weak smile being mirror by the snail.
He arches his raven brow. Looking down at the baby snail in his palm of his hand. "Why would your ships doctor would want you to see another?" He questions.
Chopper goes to speak when Zoro cuts him off as she doesn't want to talk about the little life growing inside of her. She doesn't want to be seen as a little doll. "He just wants to make sure there was nothing that he has missed. For we have everything a doctor's office might have. Even though our shipwright is willing to make." She told him with another gentle smile on her face.
"Alright. To be honest I was worried. For Kuma had just paid me a visit not but two hours ago. To the point that I have sent Akagami to go and check on you and your crew." Said Mihawk allowing a sigh as he tells her.
A giggle escapes Zoro's lips as the others watch the baby snail and their swordswoman with wide shock eyes. "I have been worried about you as well. For I do not know what those dog have you doing, and I know you don't trust them." She tells him with a soft tone in her voice.
Mihawk pinches the bridge of his nose. "They have me doing something that will be changing the world. Something I am unsure if I should tell you. For I am sure your Captain is nearby." He said with another sigh.
"You are correct about that. But now I must rest." Said Zoro as she lets out a yawn.
"Very well my love. Call me once you are at Sabaody Archipelago and I will inform you then." Said Mihawk. "I am yours and you are mine." He tells her with a bit of a growl in her voice.
A shiver runs down her spine hearing this growl in his voice. "I am your as you are mine." Said Zoro as they hung up.
Mihawk hid his private snail that is for only one and only. He picks up another snail and calls a man he had spoken to not so long ago. "Akagami."
"Hawky? What's wrong?" Question Shanks with slight panic in his voice.
"I just spoke to Zoro. She is alive and being treated by her ship's doctor, but he wants to have her to be seen by a doctor in Sabaody Archipelago once they arrive there." Said Mihawk with another tried sigh a sigh he has been sigh since midnight.
"I am glad she is alive. But I heard Luffy's doctor was train by the best. But I guess he just wants to make sure he is doing everything right for he is still young." Said Shanks with a chuckle but in the back in his mind he wonders if there is more to the extra checkup. His eyes widen as a smirk grace his lips. "Well Hawky do you still want me to check on them?" He asks his best friend.
"No. Just go do what you need for the up coming issue." Said Mihawk with another sigh.
"Alright Hawky. We have a fish to handle as he is planning to attack an old goat." Shanks tells him with a grin on his face that leaves the poor man unsettle looking at the snail sitting before him.
"Very well Akagami." Said Mihawk as he hangs up as he isn't in the mood for the other man's antics.
Red Force
Benn sitting in the corner of Shanks private room reading a book as Shanks sat on his bed looking at the snails on it as to who to call next to prepare for battle against a giant fish and the fools of the Government.
Before he had his call with Mihawk. Now he had a grin on his face that Benn slowly put his book down looking at his Captain. "Do I want to know what your thinking?" Question Benn with that uneasy feeling in his stomach.
His playful eyes look at his First-mate. "We need to plan a baby shower." He tells the raven hair man whose hair is slowly greying.
Benn open his mouth to speak as his mouth snaps shut as he raises his hand to the bridge of his nose and looks at Shanks. "What makes you say that?" He question his Captain with an arched eyebrow looking at him as if the man sitting across the room from him had finally lost his mind. 'Wait he lost that when he was part of the Pirate King's crew. Damn Roger.' He curses.
"For Luffy's little doctor wants to have Zoro seen by another doctor." Said Shanks with a devilish grin on her face.
"Captain. Luffy's doctor is the youngest daughter we all know of on a Pirate crew at this moment. SO I wouldn't look more in to it." Said Benn with another sigh.
"Fine. Fine." Said Shanks holding up his only hand. "I shall drop it for now. But I shall come back to it sooner or later." He said with an evil grin as he is planning a huge shopping trip and making Yasopp and Lucky Roo to join in on his antics.
Several Days Later in Sabaody Archipelago
"Just go get our friend back and Chopper and I are capable of going and seeing the Doctor Shanky has told us about." Said Zoro as she slaps Luffy's hands away from her midriff area as now Sanji's eyes had been looking down at her midriff as well for the past day as Luffy would not stop trying to babying her.
"Alright." Said Nami grabbing Luffy by the ear. "Come on jackass you have a date with an auction house." Said the ginger with a tried sigh as she dragged him away with the others as Sanji gives her one more sideways glance as Zoro had taken to wearing one of the extra-large hoodie, she slept in most of the time as he holds the man's scent on it.
"Come on Chopper. Let's see this back alley doctor." Said Zoro taking the young doctor's hove in her own hand for him to lead her to the place they need to be. "Mhm." Said Chopper as he lead her to the doctor Shanky had told them about and he would see them quickly and wouldn't speak a word of what he tells them. For he fears her husband and wouldn't cross Silvers Rayleigh.
They went down a shady alleyway and saw a skull and crossbones hanging on a sign. "This is the place." Said Chopper in a nervous tone of voice.
I smile down at him scooping him up to carry him in like a large plushie. "Then let us find out how my little gift is doing." Said Zoro in a calming tone of voice that sounds so strange as the idea of being a mother is slowly sinking into her mind. Chopper just nods his head as Zoro opens the door and they enter the building.
"Hello Welcome to Skull Medical office Doctor Lux with be with you soon. But take this from and fill it out." Said a woman with bright blue hair wearing a skimpy nurses outfit.
Chopper takes the clipboard. "Thanks." He tells the woman as her pink eyes sparkle as she notices the stuffy is a real talking animal in the girl's arms. Zoro walks away from the woman before she could jump for Chopper. "I'll fill this out for you Zoro. But I might have to ask a couple questions, but I pretty much know all your medical history." He told her. Zoro just grunts nodding her head.
Sen Goku's office
Sen Goku looks at all those gather so far. "Dracule Mihawk. Tell me your thoughts on the up and coming war and execution of one Portages D. Ace?" He questions the golden eye man sitting across from him enjoying a fine glass of red wine.
Golden eyes meet black eyes. "I believe this execution will be turned into a circus and nothing good would come from it. You might kill a few pirates as well as the son of The Late Pirate King. But you will lose large numbers of your own men. For I know one of your Admiral will not think twice in killing his own men to meet his own end goal." Said Mihawk as he leaves the man with his golden stare. "Is that something you are willing to risk over one single Pirate that you wanted not even two years ago to join us as a Warlord?" He question once more. Giving the man before him food for thought.
What Happen?
It happen so quickly. One second Zoro and Chopper are looking at a black and white photo of a baby that is 14 weeks along. Then the next thing they knew Luffy, and the others are screaming and Kuma's large hand slams into her body sending her flying into the air making her pass out as she curls herself into a ball and the last words, she remembers Chopper saying to the bear man. "The child." All went black.
Five days later
Zoro wakes in a room in a bed that smells like her lovers scent surround her. Engulfing her body relaxing her from the panic filling her heart with fear as her hand moves over her now swollen belly. "Please be save little one. We have just found out about each other and I can't just part ways with you now." She whispers to herself.
"You're awake." Came a high pitch voice she had heard not that long ago. But where had she heard that voice before. Pink hair comes into her view.
"You. You're the girl from Thriller Bark." Cries out Zoro as her hand reaches for the white sword resting next to the bed.
"Calm down. I dragged you into this abandon castle and have been tending to you for the past five days." Said Perona with worry written across her voice. "I found the photo and I found some medical supplies and I can hear a heart beat coming from you belly." She told her in a quiet voice with worry laced in it.
Zoro's eyes widen as she slowly sits up. "I want to hear." She tells the girl sitting across from her.
Perona reaches for the old stethoscope and hands it to the girl hair woman sitting across from her. She slips it into her ears and moves the metal part around her belly quietly listening as her eyes begin to fill with tears. "Thank goodness. I need to tell your father soon." She tells her belly looking down at it.
"I made you some soup to eat. There isn't much here to eat. But whoever lives here hasn't been gone for long." Said Perona as she slips a tray of soup and crackers onto Zoro's lap.
"I think I know who lives here. But I am not sure. I need to look around this room once I am able to walk and move around freely." Said Zoro looking around the room seeing a flier from the Festival she had met her beloved at and where she was given this precious gift within her at.
Perona looks around the room. "I have found nothing state at all who lives here." She said with a sigh.
Zoro smiles as she sees a special type of lock that would only work with Mihawk's dagger cross and maybe even her own. She wasn't sure but she might try and see if it would. "Hmm…We'll find out in a couple of days." She said with a smile as she takes a drink of her water.
7th day
Mihawk returns to his castle with worry. Luffy had informed him that Kuma had sent Zoro flying and she is still in a weaken state. But doesn't know where she had been sent to.
Flash back
"Kuma attack us when Zoro and Chopper rejoined our group after I punched that bastard. She had no idea what was going on and I have no idea where she could be." Said Luffy glaring at the swordsman standing before him.
"I shall send out word to my contacts to keep an eye out for her and I shall get ahold of you once I find her." Said Mihawk as he attacks another pirate as he and Luffy fight with each other, but no attacks hit each other. "Just take this key and save your brother Akagami should be here soon to aid in battle." He told Luffy slipping the boy the key and using Yoru to send the boy flying to the platform where Ace and the others stood watching the battle going on.
End of Flash Back
Mihawk walks the old weather path to his home as he can fell two life forms within the old Castle walls. He arches a well groomed eyebrow at this. He looks around the forest surround the castle to see the Humandrills staring at the castle walls with fear in there eyes. "Hmm…" He wonders to himself as he walks up the steps to his open ad opens the door and walks in to see a young woman with pink hair in pigtails and a small black crown on her head walking down the stairs carrying an empty bowl on a tray.
"What are you doing in my home?" Question Mihawk as he watches the young woman jump slightly still holding tray as strange looking ghost fly from her body to surround her.
"I am here tending to my friend." Answers Perona as she couldn't think of what to call Zoro as they had grown close in the past two days just talking about everything and nothing.
Mihawk arches a brow at this. As he looks up the stairs.
"She is in the Master Bedroom resting." Said Perona as she hands the tray to one of the ghost to take it away for her. "I'll take you to her." Was all she said as she spun on her heel boot and walked back up the steps.
"What happen down there Perona?" Came a voice that Mihawk has been longing to hear for days now. A voice that hadn't answer her baby snail when he would call her. Pushing passed the pink hair girl Mihawk rushes into the bedroom to find beloved in his bed wearing his shirt with the blankets drawn all the way up her body.
"Zoro…." Said Mihawk softly as he walks up to his bed and falls to his knees next to her. His right hand moving to her face cupping her right cheek as she leans into his touch.
"Mihawk." Said Zoro with love in her voice as her free hand that lays at her side moves up to his own face as her left hand doesn't leave her slightly swollen belly.
"Are you hurt?" Questions Mihawk looking her body over.
"Yes, but I need to rest for now. I might need a doctor though." Said Zoro blushing looking down at her left hand gripping the blanket over her belly.
"I shall call one for you at once than. What would you need a doctor for?" Questions Mihawk looking at her with more worry.
Moving her left hand away from her belly Zoro slips it under the blanket and pulls out a black and white little piece of paper that has seen better days and hands it over at him. Her eyes looking up at with him tears forming in the corners.
Puzzled he reaches for the small black and white piece of paper and unfolds it and sees an image of something he had thought he would ever expect to ever see in his life. His golden eyes looking up at her own silver eyes. "Is this?"
"Yes." Was all Zoro could answer as she is still panicking inside not sure if he will explode at her.
Two arms encircle her body pulling her into a hug. "I shall call my old nanny who still cares for my other home and have her bring our family doctor." He whispers into Zoro's ear. "I love you." He tells her kissing her forehead and looking up to the heavens. Praying his child is still alive.
"There is still a heartbeat." Comes Perona's voice looking at the two before her. "I have been checking while she sleeps and doing all I am able to as well as reading all medical books you have on hand is you can tell from the state of this bedroom." She tells him pointing around the room with book stacked at his desk as well on the floor with several notebooks on the desk with pens.
"Thank you for caring for my wife." Said Mihawk not even thinking about it. They just declared they belong to each other and wear matching rings. But never been married by a church nor Captain. Something he might have to take care of before their child is born. Where is Akagami when I need the bastard.
Couple days later Mihawk is sitting against the headrest of his bed reading the paper when a photo of Strawhat Luffy appears once more at Marineford to right the Ox Bell with a strange tattoo on his arm. "It appears your Captain is sending your crew a message." He tells Zoro showing her the photo.
"What is this about I don't know what 3D means but I figure he wants to meet up in two years if that 2Y is anything to go by." Said Zoro.
Mihawk chuckles. "He did say he did tell the others to meet up in three days, but I am glad you understood his message. I do hope your young doctor understands it as well." He tells her leaning down towards her kissing her forehead.
"I am sure Chopper will. With Ace living and only White Bread the only one to fall well besides that bastard Black Bread. I do owe Boa Hancock a nice bottle of wine for her snake poisoning the fat bastard." Said Zoro with a giggle.
Mihawk chuckles at hearing this. "Yes, I shall go down to my basement and write her a lovely note for you." He tells her in a mocking tone as Zoro has been whining about wanting to have a glass of wine.
She pouts. "I wanted to write it." She tells him.
"What would you write my dear?" Question Mihawk with a playful smile on his lips.
"Thank you for killing the fat bastard that almost killed my Captain's big brother and please enjoy this wine on all our behalf. From Roronoa Zoro First-Mate of the Strawhat Pirates." Said Zoro with a playful grin on her face.
Mihawk can't help but chuckle at her antics. "That does sound perfect. I shall get you the paper later and allow you to write your message and I shall send her two bottles of wine. For I was stuck in a room with that man. He didn't understand what a bath is, and it was torcher smelling him." He added just chuckling at the face Zoro makes as she dives for the size of the bed for the trash can losing her lunch at the remembering how that man smelt.
"Ugh. Don't remind me. I smelt him once before. Before I even know I was pregnant." Whine Zoro as she takes a drink of water as Mihawk gets up to go and clean out the trash can for her.
"I am sorry." Mihawk tells her as he returns to the bedroom turning the trash can right be next to her and returning to his place next to her in bed.
But the Castle grew quiet from where Perona had been singing while she had been making something for Zoro to eat while he watches over her. But then he heard foot steps rushing up the stairs of the Castle towards his bedroom.
Swiftly getting up from the bed where he had been resting next to his beloved. He graceful moves over to where Yoru rest along size the three swords. As the door burst open Yoru is pointed at the head of a crimson hair woman and the several men standing behind her. Mihawk blinks his eyes looking at the woman before him.
"Mastas?" Question Mihawk as he looks behind her to see Shanks and his family doctor. "Akagami? Doctor Yunim?" He question as well as he lowered his sword. But the silence was deafening.
"Yes, Mihawk. Doctor Yunim we're having issues charting a ship to your private island. But luck may have it I spotted Shanks standing before his ship barking out orders to him men about something silly." Said Mastas as her emerald eyes look over at the young woman resting in her master's bed.
Doctor Yunim is already by the young woman's side as Benn goes to aid him in anything the Doctor would be needing as they do not want anyone knowing who else is on this island beside the Lord of this Humandrill infested island.
"So she is the young lady that has stolen your heart my dear little Mihawk?" Question Mastas in a teasing tone of voice.
Mihawk stiffens at hearing the teasing tone coming from his old nanny's voice. "Yes. Yes, she is." He answers simply glancing over his shoulder at Zoro smacking Benn's hand for pressing to hard on her side.
"So….My guess was right. You are having a baby and I am so glad that I did a little shopping and bought a few things for you Hawky." Said Shanks with a playful grin as Yasopp and Lucky Roo stand in the hallway with several large boxes and packages.
Zoro frowns looking at her Captain's childhood hero and glares at him. "Yes, I am with child. But it's still rocky from all the shit I have been though in the past month." She hisses out at him.
This makes Shanks lose his smile and he frowns looking over at Mihawk and back at Zoro for answers. "What do you mean?" Question Shanks as all the new comers freeze at her worlds.
"I have survived two encounters with Kuma. The first time I didn't know I was pregnant, and he gave me the option to take my Captain's pain. So I did it. The second time after finding out I was pregnant, and the baby was fine. I get slapped by the same damn large paw and sent flying here and crashing into the cold hard ground." She tells them as she wraps her arms around her swollen belly.
Yunim's eyes widen with fear at hearing this. "My dear Lord. The children has been though too much trauma and they still have strong heart beats." He says as Zoro's eyes widen and Mihawk forgets about the others and moves to his beloves side.
"What do you mean children?" Question Mihawk as he picks up the little black and white photo from the nightstand and hands it to the doctor. "The ultrasound only shows us one child." He tells the man with a slight shake to his voice.
"I hear more than one heart beat and it isn't the mother's heart beat I am hearing." Said Yunim holding up his hand to stop Mihawk from panicking even more.
Zoro takes Mihawk's hand into her own. "As long as they come out healthy, I do not regret anything. Only just running into that damn bear of a man." She tells him with a smile and slight grumble at the end. But she let's out another sigh. "Now what am I going to be doing? I can't be doing my normal training anymore." She said with another sigh.
This made Mihawk laugh at her antics. "Well we could do some other training." He told her taking her hand.
"No you two will not. If she does anything, I will be grooming her into a noble lady of the highest court." Growls out Mastas.
Zoro's face faulted at hearing what the woman said. "Who are you?" She question looking at the crimson hair woman. She is totally ignoring Shanks because it's too funny to watch his face reaction out of the corner of her eye as he is pouting at being ignored.
Mihawk looks over at Shanks and lets out a sigh. "Thank you Akagami for bring Mastas and Yunim to take care of my beloved." He tells the crimson hair man who now was bouncing around the room like a happy little puppy.
"Oh you're welcome Hawky. Also Benn, Yasopp, and Lucky Roo have gotten you two things for the baby. But I appears we will have to go and get more stuff of there is more than one baby now." Said Shanks with a large grin on his face.
"We will get there when we get there." Said Zoro as she waves off the crimson hair man. "Right now I just want to make sure they will survey..." She said looking down at her belly.
Everyone grew quiet but Mihawk slowly moved over to her. Taking her hand into his own as he leans down and kisses her belly. "I will do all in my power to make sure you all survey this." Leaning up claim her lips with his own.
Eve of Zoro's birthday
She is sitting in the library as Mastas had gone to get Doctor Yunim for she would be going to be due any day now. She winkle her nose as a cramp hits her once more.
Golden eyes place his news paper down looking up at his beloved as he studies her face. "Perona. Go and boil some water and get several towels ready. I need to call Mastas and see where she and Doctor Yunim are." He calls over to the goth Lolita living with them and had been aiding in all of Zoro's needs the past several months.
"Alright…" Said Perona watching Zoro out of the corner of her eye.
Mihawk swiftly gets up and moves over to his little black and white snail that the Marines hate. "Hello."
"What is it Mihawk?" Question Mastas with a frown on his face.
"How far are you from the island?" Question Mihawk.
The snail blinks several times. "We'll be there within the hour. Why?" She question wondering what was happening.
"It's Zoro. I believe she is going into labor." Said Mihawk.
"Oi…It might just be…Oh damn….it…I peed myself." Grumbled Zoro with a frown on her face.
"You heard her. Her water has just broke on the couch. Perona is boiling water and gathering towels. I am going to move her to the bed to get her ready for the doctor." Said Mihawk.
"Alright. We will be there soon." Said Mastas with a click.
"I can walk myself." Said Zoro getting up from the couch she had been sitting on.
Mihawk arches his raven brow looking down at her as she was fighting to get up. "Allow me." He tells her scooping her into his strong arms. "I am not risking you falling down the stairs to our bedroom." He tells her.
Zoro pouts. "Fine." She tells him blowing her bangs out of her face. Perona had placed my hair into a bun, and I had been messing with it every time I felt a cramp come and go.
"I do wonder something though." Said Mihawk as he looks down at her.
"What have you been wondering?" Question Zoro resting her head on is right shoulder.
"Will you marry me?" Question Mihawk with a soft smile on his lips as he leans his head against hers as they walk up the steps.
"Yes." Said Zoro with a soft voice as she kisses his neck as she buried her face into his neck and shoulder.
Resting her on their bed. Perona comes into the bedroom with a large water bowl with boiling water and places it back on the nightstand next to the bed and rushes out to get all the clean towels she and Mastas have been getting ready for this day.
"I HATE YOU!" Yells Zoro as the pain increases from ever contraction letting her know that the babies are not going to be waiting and they want out now.
Perona and Mihawk have a medical book over on how to deliver a baby. "Do you think we can do this?" Question Persona with fear lacing her voice.
"We are going to have to. For Doctor Yunim and Mastas are not here at all. We will have to handle things until they are able to be here and help." Said Mihawk with a sigh as he wasn't sure about what they are going to be doing.
"Get away from that bed." Came a males voice as Doctor Yunim appears in the doorway. "WE are here and will handle this. You go and hold her hand so she can break your hand." He orders the swordsmen and the pink hair woman away.
"I'm going to go make some coffee." Said Perona as she ran away from the bedroom.
Mihawk moves up to Zoro's side. "I am here for you love." He tells her leaning over kissing her forehead gently.
It was now 7am November 11th Zoro's birthday and she held two of the best birthday gifts she had ever received in her life. A little girl with emerald, green hair like her mother and golden eyes like her father and a little boy with raven locks like his father and silver eyes like is mother. "They are beautiful." Said Zoro with a tried sigh.
They are as beautiful as their mother." Said Mihawk with a smile on his face looking down at the tried woman holding their children.
"What are you going to name them?" Question Doctor Yunim working on the birth certificates.
The happy new parents blink and look at each other. "We never really spoke about names, have we?" Question Zoro looking up at Mihawk.
"No we haven't." Said Mihawk blinking wondering what would they name their children.
"Elena Dracule-Roronoa and Vlad Dracule-Roronoa." Said Zoro looking up at her husband to be and father of their children.
Mihawk smiles. "I believe they are well fitting names for them." He told her with a large grin on his face.
Two years later
It was time for Zoro to return to her crew. Sitting in the bedroom of her son and daughter she runs her fingers though their hair. She looks up at Mihawk. "I don't want to leave them. But the Sunny isn't a place for them." She told Mihawk with a sigh.
"It is best we keep them hidden from the world as long as we can. But Mastas will take good care of them while you are away and when I have to be called away for Government missions. So do not worry my love." Said Mihawk leaning down to her claiming her lips with his own.
"I want photos of them, and I shall be sending gifts as much as I am able to." Said Zoro standing up and leaning into Mihawk.
"We will get married once they are a little older." Said Mihawk kissing the top of her head.
"Aye. That we will. IT will give me time to fine my wedding dress and tell the others about us getting married as well about our little ones." Zoro tells him.
"Yes, that will be fine. I have to find someone to marry us as well." Said Mihawk with a frown. "For Akagami already told me he is going to be my best man." He said with a sigh.
Zoro giggles. "Knowing Luffy he will try to be my Maid of Honor. Even if he doesn't know what it is." She said giggling even more.
"Yes… Strawhat in a maid of honor's dress." Said Mihawk with a dry chuckle.
"Well Shanks can be Luffy's escort for the whole wedding." Said Zoro giggling even more now picturing it.
They both share a good laugh as they now stand outside of their children's shared bedroom.
Sabaody
Zoro sat in the corner of Shanky's Rip off Bar. A bottle of red wine sitting on the center of her table.
Shanky looks over at the young woman with her long green hair pulled up in a high pony tail and wearing a large green coat with a white tube top with bandages wrapped around her upper body and black pants and her black boots. "You look lost in memory Zoro." She tells the young woman.
"I am. I have had a wild two years away from my crew. I miss them but I also have my heart in another place with another." Said Zoro taking a drink of her red wine.
"I understand." Said Shanky looking over at a black and white photo of a little girl with dark hair but really couldn't tell what the color is from the photo but could tell the little girl had silver eyes. "I understand." She whispers once more looking back at the young woman.
Several days pass and everyone finally arrived at the bar to find Zoro just looking at a book sitting in the corner with a package sitting next to her.
"When did you get here?" Question Nami looking over at her friend.
Looking up from her book Zoro smiles placing it down on the table next to her glass of red wine. "I have been here for almost a week. I was the first to arrive. Franky is at the ship getting it ready to go." She told Nami.
"Oh." Said Nami watching Zoro carefully. "Umm…Zoro…" She begins.
Zoro pulls a photo from her book and pushes it towards Nami. Nami sits down on the chair across from Zoro and looks down at the photo. Her eyes widen. In the photo are a little boy that is a copy of his father with his mother's eyes and a little girl that is a copy of her mother with her fathers eyes. With both parents holding them as they all smile together.
Nami looks up. "You are an aunt to Elena and Vlad Dracule-Roronoa." Said Zoro leaning in close for only Nami to hear her.
"Oh my god." Said Nami as tears begin to roll down her cheeks. At this moment Robin and Sanji walk into the bar together. Nami looks over at Robin waving over the raven hair woman over. As tears stain her cheeks.
Sanji arches a brow at this. But Usopp grabs Sanji by the arm just shaking his head. "Let them have their moment and we will find out what Zoro showed her to make her cry." HE said with a sigh.
"Alright…." Said Sanji turning away. "I need to go shopping to stock the ship." Said Sanji with a poof of smoke.
"Hey love cook. Can you get me several bottles of this kind of wine?" Calls Zoro as she throws him a pouch of gold coins with the label of the wine on it.
"Yeah….yeah sure Zoro-san." Said Sanji knowing he couldn't flirt with her anymore for did want to meet the end of Mihawk's sword.
Couple of hours later chaos ensures as Luffy and Ace run across the island towards the Sunny with Zoro and Sanji running alongside them.
Once on the Sunny and everyone got away from the Marines and Mihawk sinking several Marine Ships as well as Boa Hancock turns several crews to stone bitching they had fired on her ship as she was just sailing by as she was using her ship to block the attacks on the Sunny.
Once free Luffy turns to Zoro. "ZORO! WHERE IS ZORO?" He cries out for her.
"I'm right here." Said Zoro stepping out from behind Sanji and the others.
"ZORO!" Luffy cries as he runs to her slamming into her with tears rolling down his cheeks. "Was the baby okay?" He question with now all heads snapping their heads at neck breaking speed snapped over at them. Well besides Robin, Nami, and Chopper.
"BABY!" Yells Sanji looking around and at the green hair woman. "What baby?" He questions once more.
Zoro just begins laughing. "My son and daughter I had while we were appear for the past two years." She said with a chuckle.
The members of the crew that didn't know about the twins passed out as even Luffy's jaw hit the ground.
Ace walks up to Zoro. "Now I understand while he was training, he was upset and kept blaming himself if anything happen to you. I didn't understand at the time. All he told me was that he promised Mihawk he would take care of you while you are away from the Warlord. But now I do understand.
"Yeah, when Chopper and I where jumped by Kuma we just gotten back from the doctor and I just found out about one baby and when I landed on the island that Mihawk own's. I found out I was carrying twins." Said Zoro holding up a photo of her happy little family.
Everyone rushed over to see the children. "They take after their parents. Now I know what Zoro looks like with golden eyes." Said Luffy with a large grin on his face.
"Yeah. But now I have to find me a wedding dress for we will get married in two years and I need a Maid of Honor and brides maids." Said Zoro as her eyes sparkle looking at Luffy.
Luffy not knowing what a Maid of Honor is jumps around with his hand up in the air. "I want to be your Maid of Honor for I am your Captain and Nami and Robin can be bridesmaids." Said Luffy nodding his head and crossing his arms across his chest.
Ace sweat drops at his little brothers antics. "Umm…Luffy…" He began before being cut off by Zoro.
"No it's fine. I knew he would be wanting that role. So his escort for the wedding will be Shanks. So it will funny as hell to watch. We just need to find someone to marry us." Said Zoro giggling and letting out a sigh.
"Well I was once a Captain. The Captain of the Spade Pirates. So I can do the wedding. For I am not wearing a dress." Said Ace with a chuckle as Luffy is now pouting hearing about a dress.
"I believe that would work. Thank you, Ace." Said Zoro with a smile.
