Hi. I ran outta ideas so Imma make this story. Enjoy! This is also inspired by the movie Miracles From Heaven about that girl named Anna Beam. I really loved the movie and it inspired me to make this.
Part One
"STOP THEIF!" Chief screamed. "NEVER!" The thief said. The supa buddies were in a chase with a thief. Suddenly, something came outta nowhere and exploded, sending Ashley, Sarah, and Li'l Petey into the moving current. Well, Ashley and Sarah were. Li'l Petey on the other hand, was sent flying into a wall and was knocked out on impact.
"LI'L PETEY!" Petey, Dog Man, and Ashley screamed. Ashley and Sarah quickly swam to where the kid was while everyone else ran for him the other way. "Ash, call the police and the hospital!" Chief ordered. Ashley obeyed and called Milly and the hospital. "You okay Li'l Petey?" Petey asked. Li'l Petey's eyes slowly opened. "P-papa?" He asked before passing out again.
A few moments later, the ambulance arrived and took Li'l Petey to the hospital. Chief offered to bring Ashley and Petey back to their house, which they agreed to.
Later, At Petey's House...
"Thanks for taking us home Chief." Ashley said. "No problem Ash. Anything for my friends." Chief said. "Just help Petey out for a couple days, kay? I'm sure he needs it." Milly said, shaking Ashley's hand. "Gotcha. Just make sure that criminal is arrested. Lil Petey could die and I don't wanna deal with a dead kid." Ashley said. "Okay." Milly said, hopping back into the car.
Things were...slow, to say the least for the next few days. Petey, as you would excpect, was a wreck just waiting for news on his child. Ashley was mostly balancing time between the hunt for the criminal, getting work for the next school year done, and helping Petey through grieving for Li'l Petey.
Eventually, about a week later, the duo got news on Li'l Petey. While Ashley was walking home from the cops station one day, she noticed Petey running towards the hospital. "Hey what's goin on?" Ashley asked, catching up to him. "We have news on Li'l Petey!" Petey exclaimed, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the hospital.
Once they got into the hospital, Doctor Dookie was waiting for them, and he didn't seem happy. "Is my son okay?" Petey asked. "I'm afraid not. We managed to find out the impact somehow caused him to slip into a coma. Who knows how long he'll last in the coma. But we have him on life-support." Dookie said. Ashley was about to say something before the lights began flickering before shutting off completely. "That is not good, is it?" Petey asked.
Well, hope you enjoyed first chapter of a cliffhanger story. No this isn't a kidnapping one cause almost EVERY SINGLE STORY I write has kidnapping in it. Anyways, peace out homies!
