A lazy afternoon as no case is reported. They have had lunch few minutes before and are back to work. Freddy, Vivek, Tasha are working on a file at their desk. Daya is working on his desk computer and Abhijeet is comparing some data between file and computer. Acp sir is on the way to forensic lab. Dr. Salunkhe is performing some tests using chemicals but nothing related to case.
Acp reached the lab door and opened it. A figure came out of it at the same time and said, "Sorry Sir, Good Afternoon". "Good Afternoon, Ramesh.." replied Acp and moved in.
Ramesh, is the lab assistant and he had collided with Acp as he wanted to go out of lab and Acp wanted to come inside.
Dr. Salunkhe is still busy in his work. He did not even look at his friend but felt his presence and said, "Aao Boss, kaise ana hua.. Aj toh koi case b nahi he..".
"Kyu main case k bina aa nahi sakta?", replied Acp in fake anger tone.
"Aa sakte ho lekin aate nahi ho", came the calm reply.
"Jab case nahi toh tu kya kar raha he ye?, Sham ka kya plan he?", asked Acp.
"2 min Boss aya, bas result ane hi wala he", replied Dr. Salunkhe still looking at his chemicals in the test tube".
Acp nodded postively and kept standing with hands in his pocket and looking at this friend waiting for him to join.
While he waited, there was a boooooommmmmm! The chemical that was working on exploded. The sound intensity of the blast was equal to a thick hard cover book of 500 pages dropped on the floor, which did not raise any alarm to people outside the lab but there was fog like effect in the lab.
After around 45 mins, Ramesh entered the lab and was shocked to see the scene.
He immediately called up somebody.
"Aain?.. Ramesh ka phone?.. aj toh koi case b nahi he", thinking so Abhijeet received the call.
"Sir, ap please jaldi se lab aajaiye", he said in a panicked tone.
"Kya hua , sab thik toh he?", asked Abhijeet worriedly in a louder tone that made others turn their face towards him.
"Me apko phone par nahi bata sakta. Please jaldi aayiye".
"Ha thik he ate he" and disconnected the call and picked up his belongings with scared expressions.
His buddy asked, "Kya hua Boss, kiska phone tha? Gabraye hue kyu ho?".
"Jaldi lab chal Daya",ordered a panicked Abhijeet.
"Ha thik he lekin batao toh sahi hua kya", said Daya while picking up his belongings.
"Pata nahi waha jakar pata chalega, chal jaldi", and he stormed out of the bureau.
"Hum abhi aate he", informed Daya to other team members and followed his friend.
Both reached the lab after running like an athlete. Abhijeet opened the door and duo went inside. They both freezed at their place. Oldie duo were sitting on the floor making paper boats and sailing them in water kept in a ceramic tray.
Abhijeet looked at Daya with, "ye kya hua" look. Daya shrugged his shoulders with, "i dont know" look.
Abhijeet activated his detective skills and enquired from Ramesh.
Ramesh said, "Dr. Sir ek chemical test kar rahe the. Mujhe unhone ek file lane record room bheja. Jate waqt maine Acp sir ko andar aate dekha. Lagbag 40-45 minutes baad me aya toh ye dekha. Mujhe lagta he wo chemical explode hogaya hoga. Aur ye uska side effect he."
"Kya tum wo composition hume de sakte ho?".
"Ji Sir" and he moves to get the composition.
Abhijeet looked at Daya who was smiling looking at both the oldies.
"Isme smile karne wali kaunsi baat he Daya?... mujhe kitna tension ho raha he... asked Abhijeet in a very worried tone.
"Dekho toh Boss, dono kitne cute lag rahe he... tum hamesha tension lete ho... chitna chodo... enjoy the moment", replied Daya still smiling.
"Jee, Sarkar.. ", replied Abhijeet angrily and turned towards Ramesh handing the composition.
"Ramesh, tume pata he ab aage kya?", asked Abhijeet.
"Nahi sir, koi idea nahi.. ap doctor se consult kar lijiye please."
"Thik he.. ab tum jao.. hum sambhal lenge", said Abhijeet. Ramesh said thank you and left.
"Chal Daya, aage chalkar dekhte he kitna damage hua he". Daya nodded and both had hardly moved just 5 steps when they got another shock.
Dr. Salunkhe came running to Daya crying and like a 5 year old kid started complaining as, "Uncle Uncle, ye coat wale dost ne meri boat duba di.. ap daato usko..".
Hearing his complaint Acp came running to Abhijeet and justifying like a 5 year old kid said, "Nahi Uncle, , maine kuch nahi kiya..".
Abhijeet looked at Daya and said angrily, "Cutee.. lo ab bhugto, hum inke uncle he".
While oldie duo, continued fighting as "Ha", "Nahi", "Ha", "Nahi".
Finally Abhijeet said to both, "Aree ap ladiye mat please", in requesting tone.
Dr. Salunkhe replied, "Tum pehle ise (pointing to Acp) daato".
Abhijeet looked at Acp sir and gulped his saliva thinking, "Main kaise daatu sir ko?".
He turned towards Dr. Salunkhe and said, "Ap please samajiye, main nahi daant sakta", in pleading tone.
Dr. Salunkhe , stamped his feet and said, "Nahi, kuch nahi .. daato ise pehle".
Acp also stamped his feet and said, "Maine kuch nahi kiya".
Abhijeet turned his buddy for help and requested with pleading eyes but he replied, "Main kuch nahi karne wala Boss, tumne mujhe daata, waise b phone tume aaya tha, toh ye tumhari problem he" and shrugged his shoulder continue to enjoy the oldie fight.
Abhijeet then feeling sorry for himself replied to Daya, "Acha mere baap, galti hogayi. Maaf karde.. madad karde meri please.."
Daya replied, "Thik he ab request kar rahe ho toh kar deta hu madad".
Abhijeet murmured to himself, ye ek kum tha kya in dono b mujhe hi mile. He looked at the ceiling as if talking to God and said, Kya problem he apko mujhse.
His talk was interrupted by Daya who said, "Dr saab shant ho jaiye me daatta hu".
Abhijeet again murmured hearing this, "ha ladla jo he, acp sir kuch kahenge thodi ise", making a dejected face.
Daya gave him proud look only until they heard oldie duo laughing loudly.
Abhijeet asked, "Kya hua, ap dono has kyu rahe he?".
Acp replied in kid like tone laughing in between words, "Wo .. Wo .. itne lambe aur mote uncle ne isko Dr saab bulaya".
Hearing the explanation, Abhijeet burst into uncontrolled laughter.
Daya felt embarrassed and gave a deadly glare to Abhijeet and in strict tone said, "Bossss…..".
Abhijeet got threatened and said, Sorry trying to control his laugh.
As the matter got diverted, Daya said to Dr. Salunkhe, "Ap yaha baitho, thodi der chup chap fir me apko kuch bataunga". agreed like an obedient child.
Abhijeet said to Acp, "ap b please".
"Nahi, main nahi baithunga", ordered Acp to which Abhijeet murmured, "Bacche ban gaye lekin order karna nahi choda".
Daya then interfered and said, "Please baith jaiye, fir me apko choclate dunga". Acp happily agreed.
Abhijeet asked Daya, "Ab kya kare yaar?",
Daya replied, "Ghar le chalte he dono ko", calmly.
"Kya?",pagal hogaye ho kya? Kisi ne dekh liya toh kya hoga pata he?".
"Boss, apno ki tension me pata nahi tumhara sharpness kaha chala jata he… bahar kisi ne dekh liye toh sambhal lenge aur wo b thodi der k liye hoga.. yaha team dekh liya ya dcp aagaya toh kya hoga pata he?"
Both started imagining future of oldie duo with Dcp.
Dcp entered.
Oldie duo(running towards him): Budhe uncle aagaye….
Dcp confused : Budhe uncle? Ye tum kya bol rahe he dono?
Oldie duo : Ap hamare kya laye?
Dcp : Dimag toh thik he tum dono ka?
Oldie duo(getting angry) :Ap choclate laye he?
Dcp : Nahi, tumko choclate kyu chahiye.
Oldie duo : ab apko iski saja milegi.. chalo ab ap godha bano.. hum goda goda khelenge.. saying this held his hand and Acp started pushing him to bend.
Duo broke into a loud laughter imaging it…
Finally, they decided to take oldie duo home. They took them the car. Abhijeet made them sit on the backseat and was about to close the door when Dr. Salunkhe shouted, "Aree uncle, seat belt to lagao.. kuch b nahi aata tumko".
Abhijeet nodded and did as instructed and sat on the passenger seat.
There was complete silence in the car between the duo.
"Dost, dekho dekho dekho…. Wo dekho..", shouted Acp pointing to something in sky to Dr. Salunkhe
Daya got scared and pulled the car to the curbside and turned back in worry.
Dr Salunkhe : Kya he dost?
Acp(excitedly): Patang(Kite), wo hamare saath aa rahi he..
Duo pat their head and continued to drive.
As soon as Daya opened door, oldie duo ran inside and sat on the living room sofa. grabbed the remote and selected "Tom and Jerry" to watch.
Meanwhile, Abhijeet got fresh and sat next to them. Daya did something in the hall hiding from the oldie duo's gaze. '
Abhijeet called a doctor and talked to him about oldie duo's case and sent him the composition. Doctor replied that he will call back after consulting other doctor on some points.
After 30 minutes, Acp said, "Uncle , bhook lag rahi he". Dr. Salunkhe also joined him.
Daya requested to Abhijeet, "Boss kuch bana do please.. varna ye log rone lag gaye toh ….please….".
Abhijeet agreed and came back with 2 plates of food.
"Khicdi?.. me bimar thodi hu.., mujhe ye nahi khana", said Acp and made a face putting his hands on chest.
Daya came forward and asked politely, "Toh apko kya khana he?".
Acp replied happily, "Kheer".
Daya looked at Abhijeet with pleading eyes. Abhijeet had no option. He went back to the kitchen.
Oldie duo had kheer and duo had khichdi for lunch. After lunch, Dr. Salunkhe said, "Chalo uncle, ab hum sab game khelte he".
Duo looked at each other with bichara expressions.
Oldie duo held duo's hand and dragged them towards sofa and ordered them to sit on it. They gave them a paper that they found lying on the coffee table.
Dr. Salunkhe continued, "Ab hum teacher teacher, khelenge, Ok?".
Duo confused and feeling bichara.
Dr. Salunkhe added further, "Main apki test lunga aur dost apke exam papers check karenge. Thik he?". without waiting even for an answer, he said, "Main tumko numbers bolunga apko English likhna he. Ok?".
Duo nodded.
He said, 1.. Duo wrote it. He said 2.. Duo wrote it. He said 3,4.. Duo wrote it. He said 5.. Abhijeet got a call from doctor, he immediately attended the call forgetting that he was writing an exam.
After disconnecting the call, he noticed Dr. Salunkhe standing behind him with deadly glare and remote in his hand as if holding a stick. "Kya kiya tumne?, pata nahi exam me phone nahi uthathe.. Show me your hand now…".
Abhijeet had no other option, he forwarded his hand and Dr. Salunkhe hit him on his palm with remote.
Daya laughed loudly. "Tum kyu has rahe ho?..Tumhe pata nahi aise kisi par haste nahi, show me your hand now…".
Daya embarrassed and forwarded his hand. Acp hit his palm with a newspaper rolled together.
Abhijeet gave a teasing look to him.
Dr. Salunkhe collected their paper's that contained numbers 1,2,3,4 and gave it to Acp to check.
Acp, looked at those papers seriously, marked a cross against each number and gave it back.
Duo surprised looking at all the cross not understanding what was wrong in it.
Acp came forward and scolded as, "tum dono ko kuch b nahi aata… dost ne kaha tha ki wo tumko numbers bolega aur tumko "English" likhna he, matlab "ENGLISH" word likhana tha… thik se sunte nahi ho…. Kal se hamare pass classes k liye aana". Duo were shocked at the explanation with mouth open.
Daya murmured, "Kuch b kar lo, hume daant kar rahenge". Oldie duo spent the remaining time, troubling and getting pampered by duo.
At night, said , "Uncle neend aa rahi he". Finally, duo let a breath out thinking "Chalo ab so jayenge toh hume kuch aram milega".
They took them inside the guest room and made them sleep on the bed, covered them and were coming out turning off the lights. "Uncle, lorry to sunao…, kuch b nahi aata tumko…", commanded Acp.
Duo looked at each other not knowing what to do. Abhijeet took chance and said, "Dekh daya , dopahar ko khana maine banaya tha, ap tu gana suna de… varna agar ye rone lag gaye toh….", requesting in the same tone that daya had used to blackmail him.
Daya thought for some time and started,

Duo looked at oldie duo turned kids and found them sleeping. Duo turned off the lights and moved to their rooms to sleep.
