Yay! Another favourite fanfiction set for me - Dr. Bull and the always fun Cable McCrory! *cheers, excited that this is finally happening*
I know that there is at least one other person who wants this. ;) Thank you to pizzafan123 for requesting! :D I was so excited that the story I had already started several months ago was something that fit what you described to me that you would like to see; you can be the honourary dedication, as well as the wonderful characters brought to us by CBS. Annabelle Attanasio did a wonderful job as Cable as she is greatly missed. :( However, in fanfiction authors get their own way ... so watch me be stubborn! :D ;D
I'm still undecided whether or not this story will include spanking, like a lot of my other fictions. I've never done that with Cable and Bull before, and I have options that I am currently pondering. If you have an opinion on the subject and want to bless me with your vocalization of it, please either PM me or let me know in a review. :)
This is just an itty bitty teaser, but the second chapter should be up tomorrow, so do not fear. :) Chapters will be short - likely averaging 500-800 words to keep it easy to put out chapters quickly, as a 1,000-1,200 "regular length" chapter can take me several days to write ... if I can stay inspired and focused on it. Flow goes better with short sections, so that's what I'm planning on doing.
Now, enjoy!
...
Cable could feel her world jostling, hurting her. Her eyelids - were they made of concrete? There was no way that she could open them. She could feel people calling her name, tapping her cheeks, trying to wake her but she could not respond. Overwhelming pain was washing over her and yanking her from the tiny amount of consciousness that she had and pushing her back toward the darkness. Her head ached and pulsed and pounded. Was it even attached to anything else? She struggled for a breath but the stab of pain pushed her back into oblivion.
...
"Hello. Is this Jason Bull, Cable McCrory's emergency contact?"
Bull felt his heart skip a beat at that question.
"What ... what happened to her?" he demanded of the strange voice.
"She was taking part of a campus snowball fight and slipped on some ice and fell, hitting her head against a concrete post. She was knocked unconscious and we called an ambulance. She did not regain consciousness until the EMTs arrived. She is on her way to the hospital."
That was all that he needed to hear. Bull was on his way.
...
See you tomorrow for a longer chapter. :)
*hugs*
