Vesperia and Rena Rouge wore matching smiles as they spied on Ladybug and Chat Noir from afar. Chat Noir had his black-gloved hands on Ladybug's shoulders, and Ladybug was staring into his green eyes with great intensity.

"They're in love," Vesperia murmured sweetly, folding her hands together. She angled herself a little, so that she could get a better view of the two conversing superheroes. "It's so obvious."

"To everyone but them," Rena responded with a sorrowful sigh. She folded her arms grumpily, her eyes shining with passion. "I know Ladybug. She's my best friend! I can't believe she's clinging to some other guy when Chat is right there! He's always been right there." She added more softly.

Vesperia wondered who had captured Ladybug's heart so firmly. He must've been just as good-hearted as Chat Noir, and with a heart of gold too. She admired the two from a distance. The duo shared a closeness she could hardly imagine having with anyone.

"If only she'd open her eyes," Rena Rouge grumbled, casting a glare over at Ladybug. "Nobody acts that way with someone who's just a friend. But, if it's possible, I know someone worse than her."

Vesperia shot a surprised glance over at Rena. "Really?" she replied disbelievingly. She had captured her interests. "Who?"

Rena Rouge poked a finger at the billboard they were hiding behind. "Him," she grunted, laughing a little. There was a friendly sort of fondness in her voice as she spoke. Vesperia assumed Rena must've known him outside the costume as she did. "Perfume boy."

"Radiant, carefree. Adrien, the fragrance," Zoe crowed, remembering Adrien Agreste's ad. "Is he really worse than Ladybug with love?"

"Much," Rena Rouge replied with certainty. "I'm afraid La...—my friend is in love with him. She's been in love with him for the longest time, and he still hasn't got a clue. Though it annoys me a little, I can't blame him entirely. He spent most of his life locked up in his house by his father. I don't blame him if he doesn't have that good of social skills."

"I don't know who to pity," Vesperia mused. "Your friend, or Adrien."

"Why not both?" Rena Rouge asked. "I pity them both. Though, I'm not sure either would want any of it."

Vesperia nodded in reply and turned back to glance at Ladybug and Chat Noir. She let out a small gasp of surprise as Ladybug's arms flew out to wrap her partner in a tight embrace. She looked comforted, happy. Peaceful, even.

"They're in love," Vesperia repeated. She felt her eyes watering passionately. "It's so obvious. We have to do something!"

"Come on, Vee," Rena snorted, placing her hands on her hips. Her intrigued eyes betrayed her disapproving expression. "You know Ladybug hates meddling. Especially in people's... private friendships." She added, her lips tightening into a grimace to hide the smile that threatened to come through.

"We can't just stand around and let this happen," Vesperia insisted. "I don't think I'll be able to take it!" She fidgeted with her spinning top, squinting over Rena's shoulder. "And I don't think you will either."

That seemed to do the trick. Rena nodded eagerly. "So what do we do? Everyone knows Chat is in love with Ladybug. That's old news. How can we make Ladybug fall for Chat Noir?"
