Chapter 1: Celebrating Karin & Yuzu Kurosaki's Birthday
Ichigo and his dad were both downstairs in the kitchen as they were decorating for Karin's and Yuzu's birthday.
"Y'all are growing up way too fast on me. Slow down." Isshin said as he laughed.
Ichigo laughed also. "Sorry, pop. Can't help it. We gotta grow old somehow." Ichigo replied with a smile.
Isshin playfully nudged on his son's shoulder. "So son, how's college going?" Isshin asked.
"Great! Loving my new friends and-" Ichigo choked on his words.
Isshin looked at him. "You okay there, son? Did you meet someone hot~?" Isshin asked.
Ichigo gulped and looked back at his dad. "Nah. Just new friends that's all." Ichigo replied.
"Ah good. Hey I'm going to head to the store to get the cupcakes for your sisters, if they wake up go right ahead and eat some lunch. I'll be back in a jiffy." Isshin said as he grabbed his keys and hat.
"Sure thing, dad. Bye!" Ichigo called out to his dad as he saw him leave.
Ichigo sat down on the couch as he took out his phone and began to text his new lover.
"Hey babe, would you like to come over to celebrate my sister's birthday?" Ichigo texted.
He waited for a reply as he looked up, hearing a yawn.
"Hello? Dad? Ichigo?" Said Yuzu. She was the first twin to wake up.
"Yuzu! Happy Birthday!" Ichigo said as he walked up to his little sister and hugged her.
Yuzu blinked as she smiled big. "Big Brother! Thank You! Where's dad?" Yuzu asked.
"He'll be back. Would you like anything to eat?" Ichigo asked.
Yuzu nodded. "Sure! You can cook this time. We'll wait till Karin wakes up." Yuzu replied as she sat down.
"Great. I'll get it done in no time." Ichigo said.
Yuzu waited as she looked up hearing a yawn.
Her fraternal twin sister Karin was finally awake.
"Morning." Said Karin.
"Karin! Happy Birthday!" Said Ichigo.
"Whoa Ichigo, you're cooking?" Nice! Thank you." Karin said as she sat next to Yuzu. The two then gave each other a hug.
Ichigo smiled as he looked at his phone and saw that he received a text from his lover.
"Sure! I'm not doing much today. May I come over?" He asked.
"Yes. My dad is out getting the cupcakes and my sisters are awake." Said Ichigo as he sent the text.
Ichigo gave his sisters and himself their lunch as they all sat down and ate together.
Isshin parked in the driveway as he saw someone at the door. Isshin got out of his car.
"Hello there." Who are you?" Isshin asked the man.
The man turned around as he gulped. "Hello. I'm- uh..-" The man choked on his words.
Isshin raised an eyebrow.
Ichigo then opened the door as he hugged his lover. "You came~. Want to-" Ichigo gasped as he saw his dad.
"Dad! Hey they're awake." Said Ichigo.
Isshin nodded awkwardly as he came inside setting the cupcakes on the table.
"Dad! You are so sweet." Yuzu said.
Isshin smiled as he hugged his daughters. "Happy Birthday you two! Now shall we?" Isshin said as he lit the candles on the cupcakes.
Everyone sanged "Happy Birthday" To Karin and Yuzu as the two twins held hands and smiled.
The twins blew out the candles as they giggled.
Isshin then went to Ichigo and his lover as he put his arms around them and dragged them out of the kitchen and hid behind a wall.
"So who's this?" Isshin asked. Keeping his voice down.
Ichigo looked at his lover and nodded as he held his hand.
"Dad, this is my boyfriend, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. We met a few years ago, and we became quick friends at college and it turns out we're dating." Ichigo said as he sweated.
Isshin raised an eyebrow as he looked at Grimmjow and smiled.
"My boy shouldn't be keeping secrets from me. But welcome to the family. As long you're treating my son right, then I'm cool with you." Isshin said.
Grimmjow bowed. "Thank you sir. I'm very much treating him very well."
Isshin gave them a thumbs up. "Let's go eat a cupcake and watch a movie." Isshin said.
Ichigo hugged Grimmjow. "That was unexpected. But at least he's okay with it." Ichigo said.
"Agree babe. Come on. The cupcakes can't wait any longer~." Grimmjow laughed.
Everyone then had a cupcake and some soda as the twins opened their cards and thanked everyone.
They all sat in the living room as Yuzu picked out a movie and put it on and everyone got cozy and began watching it while eating a cupcake, and some popcorn and other sweets.
"Happy birthday you two." Ichigo, Isshin, and Grimmjow said to the twins.
The twins turned around and smiled at their family. "Thank You."
