A woman in blonde hair, wearing all-black, with a pink facemask, was driving to a house. She said to two girls, "Now, remember, girls, there's a reason why your father has to go to Texas and sort out this ordeal. He left me in charge of you two, so I don't want any trouble from BOTH of you."

A girl in blonde hair and glasses, wearing a purple shirt and jeans, said, "Yes, Mom. I can't believe you have to visit a friend of yours."

The woman said, "Of course. She and I go way back. Sadly, we have so many plans for Miz-K, but… Sadly, this stupid pandemic…"

Beth said, as she was a small girl in auburn hair, with a white shirt and pink skirt, holding a plush bunny, "Mommy, you know that she's wearing a mask. You can just take it off. We're clean."

Heather barked, "Young lady, this is why I refuse to remove my facemask! Germs! And you're still in trouble for bringing in that snow bunny you made! Almost slipped on that puddle."

Beth said, "I can't help it. Nanao taught me how to create snow bunnies, using snow."

Heather huffed, "Consider this visit as being grounded, Beth Nevins. Now, I don't want any trouble from you. You, too, June."

"Yes, Mom. But why am I tagging along with you?"

"That… Well, Emily said that she's under the weather, so, I'm left holding you two. In any case, we should be there, soon."

They arrived at the house, as Heather parked near the entrance. She stepped out and said, "Stay in the car. I'll be right there." She went to the front door and buzzed the doorbell. She called out, "Hello? Saki? It's me, Heather Dunn! You know, Master of Scary-monies?"

A girl in long black hair, wearing a purple dress, and a black facemask, appeared to her, "Ah, Heather. It's good to see you again. I see that you finally decided to assist me with my macabre of tales…"

"Save it, Goth Girl. I'm babysitting my daughters. And I want you to watch over them with me."

"Oh? Where are they?"

She called, "Girls, come on out!" She stated, "June's offered to see you again, but Beth's grounded."

Hanajima smiled, "Oh, that's alright. I don't mind the company, while my parents are away. But we still have Megumi."

Beth asked, "Megumi?"

Heather said, "Your sister?"

"Brother." June answered.

"Oh, right." Heather sighed.

Hanajima said, "Ladies, come right in. I do hope you enjoy your visit. I did a little… redecorating, since we last met."

They walked in, as June smiled, "I can't wait to see her themed home."

Beth smirked, "Believe me, she's too pure to go black."

Heather said, "You should've seen her room."

They walked to the living room, as it was dark, with candles lit up. Hanajima said, "I have my slaves making the tea. And you, Heather, I have your soy cookies made, as you like it."

"Thanks. Plus, I started having plant-based burgers, lately. Big Guy was considering the same thing, since he is allergic to beef. I don't mind, it's just… 2020 was terrible. We didn't even revive the Tales of the Bizarre series!"

"We can, now, can we?"

"Whoa, try saying that, five times…" Beth said.

Heather repeated, "We can, now, can we? We can, now, can we? Can now, Cammy… Can't, no… SHIT!" She grumbled, "Dammit, Beth!"

Beth laughed, as Hanajima smiled, "That's partially my fault. Anyways, since you two are here, would you like to hear some of our stories that your mother and I planned?"

The girls nodded, as June said, "We're interested. This is our first time, hearing your horror tales."

Heather grinned evilly, "Oh, it's not a horror tale… it's… a Tale of the Bizarre!"

Heather laughed evilly, as thunder boomed. She paused, as Hanajima sparked her waves, "Ahh… the vibrant flow of evil waves have flourished. The time has come… once again…" She held up a book and said, "Girls… We only did two stories, and we need your expert help. What you're about to see, and hear, and feel… as you will listen to a world, open of mind, body, soul, and eternal waves… These aren't bizarre tales that will entice you with the power of imagination… it's actually a place called "The 5th Dimension"."

Beth asked, "Uhhh… Are we doing The Twilight Zone?"

June asked, "Which one?"

"Eh?"

"Original, first revival, failed UPN revival, or All Access Explicit revival?"

Hanajima said, "Patience, girls… they are simply original stories… by us…"

She opened the book, as she said, "Listen well… to my story… A story… of a haunted place like this…" She looked through the pages and said, "Sure as my name is Saki Hanajima, I present to you… a beautiful story… a Story… from the Dead!"

The story takes place in a wax museum, as a mannequin girl in green hair was sketching a figure with long red hair, holding up a tire iron, about to bludgeon her ex. The girl in green smiled, "Awesome… This is perfect for my project."

As she was sketching, Saki Hanajima, herself, was posing in a display, wearing all-black. She turned to the audience, and remained in a pose.

"This is Madame Kobe's Wax Museum. Picture a dark night, it's late, and the people have gone home, after touring the museum. This place has many historic figures, including its well-known and popular exhibits, the Yandere Exhibit. Here, a tour of many of the evil psycho women are made famous for their most heinous acts, especially towards their loved ones. However, when the clock strikes 10, or later, the girls magically come to life…" She reverted back to mannequin form, after that.

The girl finished, but then stopped and gasped. She was surrounded by darkness, as she called, "Hello? Miss Kobe? Miss Kobe?" She walked around and said, "The store's closed." The lights went out, and then she ran to the exit. The door was locked. She tried to open it, but couldn't. She then saw a dim light and went towards it. She then heard footsteps. Creaking noises were made, as the girl called, "Who's there?"

A shadowy figure appeared, as she was holding a weapon. The girl gasped, and then she shrieked, as the figure went closer, armed with a hatchet.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
CHOP!
The girl was killed, as she dropped her blood-soaked sketchpad to the floor. One of the wax statues came to life, and killed the innocent girl in cold blood.

(Hanajima): This is no ordinary wax museum, where magic happens… only murder. Fitting in a scenario that fits the billing of yanderes and mannequins, made from flesh and blood… for this Story of the Dead, takes place in a very scary place… "The Chamber of Horrors".

Thunder boomed, as a female figure was viewing the huge red moon. She turned to the audience, flowing her very long black hair and decaying skin, wearing only a tattered white gown and an olive green facemask.

"Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh!" She snarled at the camera, as her facemask started to sog up a little.

BOOM!
Thunder struck, as the stories began.

Tales of the Bizarre #67
"Wax Sugar Life"

The next day, at the morgue, two boys were walking to the door. One of the boys knocked, as a man in brown hair and whiskers appeared through the small window. "Yes?"

"Detective Asahi Kobe, homicide. This is Sgt. Shoko Hida." He said, "We got your call. Business before pleasure, right?"

The man said, as he opened the door, "Practically no one comes here for pleasure. Come on in."

The detectives stepped in. Minutes later, they examined the corpse of the girl that was attacked, viewing her from under the tarp. Kobe sighed, "Mm-mm… That's too bad. You know, it happened at my sister's wax museum. How did it happen?"

The mortician said, "Well, found her like this, after the call from Shio Kobe. Pretty bad. She's only 5'3", name: Mion Sonozaki. Weight: 122. Hair: green. Clear complexion."

Shoko huffed, "Not anymore."

Asahi asked, "Did you see anyone that did this?"

"Not that I know of. But I do know the cause of death. A hatchet."

"Just a hatchet?"

"Of course. But that's all I know."

Asahi said, "Well, Tell the doctor to call us, in case you found any more reports."

They departed, as the mortician relaxed, having lunch.

XXXXX

That evening, Shoko returned with the reports. Asahi read the papers. He was a bit concerned, knowing that Mion was killed by a hatchet.

"Some joke, this is… The death occurred in Madame Kobe's Wax Museum, and the weapon was a hatchet. Bludgeoned Mion Sonozaki, and left her dead. Problem is… no prints. Not on the hatchet, or on the corpse." He put the report away and said, holding up the sheet of sketch paper, "This may be a clue to the same murder that happened in the alleyway, one week ago. Found this. Sadly, nobody can identify the murderer."

Shoko said, "Of course. By the looks of it, she only drew the art of a wax mannequin, but not of the murderer."

Asahi said, "An art student. Haven't been in school for weeks. But the captain is looking into this."

The phone rang, as he called, "Hello? Kobe, homicide. Huh?" He wrote down, "Yeah, I see… Give me the address… … … Yes, right away."

He explained, "Kobe's Wax Museum. That's our lead. That's two blocks away from the alleyway where the girl was found."

She said, "We better get down there. I'll handle this case." She took the picture and then asked, "Curious… Would she have drawn a picture of her own murder?"

Shoko showed Shio Kobe, the owner of the museum, the portrait. Shio was a young lady, standing only 4'3", and with short dark blue hair.

NOTE: I made Shio Kobe grow a bit. Plus, she's older now.

"I actually know this man. Lemme show you." She showed them a girl in pink hair, holding a hatchet, aiming at a boy in reddish brown hair.

"A wax dummy?" Shoko replied.

Shio said, "Mannequin. Or figure, or statue. We don't call them dummies."

"New work?"

"Model from Fres-, I mean, fresh from overseas."

"You remember?"

"About years ago in Paris. As I recall, it was delivered in April, during Springtime. Paris in Spring."

Shoko said, "You're an expert on this. You know, your brother is close to finding the truth behind the murders."

Shio smiled, "I'm open to help my brother."

She responded, "Then let's start with questions. Where were you, last Thursday, after this place closed?"

A girl in long pink hair called, "I'll answer that, ma'am." She was wearing a blue uniform and said, "She was with me. We were making a new exhibit."

Shio introduced her to Shoko, "Sgt. Hida, this is my partner, Sato Matsuzaka. My assistant."

Sato said, "Perhaps I can help you, Shio. There are customers waiting for you, out back."

Shio bowed, "Thank you very much. Anyways, I should be going."

Shio departed, as Sato said, "You will forgive me. Shio has been very busy, since she was working hard to help out the museum."

Shoko nodded, "I can understand. Her brother is a detective, and my partner."

They walked off, as Sato showed them a room. It was a huge factory, where the statues are being molded. Sato said, "This is where the magic takes place. The wax is poured into the molds, after melting down to hot wax."

Shoko asked, "How long has your boss run the place?"

"One month. She moved to another country, after a brief visit to America, then England. Now, it's in Japan. We're thinking of moving to China, Italy, Russia, and Finland, once we're done here."

"With all this equipment."

"Yes. It's easily packed. We make all these wax figures, by ourselves. And travel all around the world, including Europe, where Shio began her work."

"Indeed it is. Shio's a great artist."

"Funny… I never know you'd be into your boss's work."

"It's a privilege to dedicate art to one's being."

"Are you in love with her?"

"Not really… Is this a part of your investigation?"

"I'm sorry. No offense, but you are gifted." Shoko asked, "Is that the back door?"

"No, that's our living quarters. I sleep in the evenings."

Shoko then spotted a curtain, and then examined it. Sato shrieked, "NO!"

The curtain opened, revealing a mannequin with long blue hair, dressed in a raincoat, and holding a silver rusty hook. Shoko asked, "What's this?"

"New exhibit. Shio and I worked hard on this one. A lovelorn girl, lost in sea. I didn't want you to see it."

"It's alright. You did create a wax statue of another cute girl. But I couldn't sworn it was real."

Sato explained, "This is what we did, last night, during the murder. We wanted to build this exhibit. She is in this box, while the wax hardens."

Shoko felt her, but Sato pushed her back. She said, "Don't touch! She's… not finished."

Shoko smiled, "Okay." Sato closed the box, as Shoko asked, "So, any idea what to call her?"

"I don't know."

Shoko said, "Well, we'll keep in touch, in case anything comes up. Tell Shio that we'll be in touch."

Minutes later, outside in a payphone, Shoko called Asahi, "Yeah, that's right. It's all clean. Your sister and Sato Matsuzaka, they're clean. But that Matsuzaka girl, she's something. Anyways, I'll see you at 9. I thought I would get a bite to eat, before I go."

She stepped out of the payphone, as Sato asked, "Finished?"

Shoko nodded, "Yep. All done. Anyways, you stay safe out there. Have a good night now."

She made her exit, until…
STAB!
Shoko was stabbed in the back, as Sato shrieked, covering from the blood. Shoko was being ripped from her chest, with a rusty hook. Sato winced in fear, as the figure departed into the shadows, leaving behind a trail of blood. The figure was, in fact, the same mannequin that was inside the wooden box.

Asahi was talking to Sato at the police station, as she was crying. She confessed that she didn't save Shoko Hida, who was impaled from behind. A man in brown hair appeared, as he said, "Well, I got the autopsy report set up." He added, "We should have a full report, and also, your sister's been taken in for questioning."

Asahi said, "Thank you. I should be able to help her recover from this."

Sato sniffled, as the man said, "Well, how would you like to go back home? I'll accompany you."

Sato smiled, "Yes, thank you." The man and Sato leave the office, as Asahi prepares to talk to Shio.

XXXXX

"So, that wax statue. I believe Sato had no idea that it was the murderer." Asahi said to Shio, "You were in your quarters, greeting guests, and Shoko was impaled by a girl in a raincoat."

"Yes. But the girl was a mannequin… long hair, a parka, and even a hook. Beach coast murderer, by the docks. She was a fisherman."

"I see. Anyways, we could begin by asking you everything… including this Sato girl."

Shio explained, "Well, she's been living alone, as she was in poverty. I took her in and helped her out. And the rest she told you. However, Sato told me everything. You see, the murderer was in the shadows, but Sato recognized the murder weapon. It was a hook, a fake one, but it looks real."

Asahi said, "And you know of the murders?"

Shio said, "Brother, you know me too well. This Mion Sonozaki, she was killed by a hatchet… her body was chucked into the alley, and the hatchet has no proof!"

"And tonight?"

"Someone acting like a statue, and trying to oust a police officer. Yes, I can see where this is going. My dear Sato, she was lonely… and she needed someone to love. But she does show affection for me. Though, I'd never show it back. She's usually into the guys."

XXXXX

At the alleyway, Sato was at the back door. Irie, the detective who walked her home, stated, "Anyways, you stay safe inside. I'm happy that you get to stay with a friend."

Sato nodded, "Oh, yes, sir. I'm… AHEM! Well…" She blushed and said, "Well, it's not that bad. Shio and I have a thing, but it's just…"

"I know that feeling. We're just lucky that a nice innocent girl is safe with a friendly owner who sought to take care of you. I know it's hard, but Shoko didn't have to die like that."

"Yes… It's terrible."

Irie leaned to her, as he whispered, "You look very cute."

Sato blushed, as they went closer, closing their eyes. And then, as they went closer, face-to-face…

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" A girl in orange hair, wearing a white outfit and beret, was holding a gun towards Sato and Irie. She cried, "So, you had to come back, huh?"

Irie asked, "Kid, calm down. This is just a friendly talk. And I advise that you put the gun down."

The girl roared, "Shut up!" She stared, "I'm not here to kill you, officer." She aims her gun and said, "I'm here for Sato."

Sato shivered, as Irie cried, "I mean it! Put the gun down!"

He aimed his gun at her, but she shot the gun off his hand. He held his hand in pain, as the girl said, "You think I didn't know, those times in France? In America? You would run away here to Japan?"

Her eyes shone blue, like demonic eyes, and whispered, "You would try to kill people… I won't. I know for a fact that you murdered that girl… and you would kill my best friend. You even cheated on my boyfriend, all for your thirst of blood."

Sato sobbed, "Please… No… Don't shoot me…"

She called, "Hands up!" She yelled at Irie, "I SAID HANDS UP!" Irie raised his hands. Sato wept, as he said, "Don't. She meant no harm to you."

The girl said, as she pulled the trigger, "Justice will be served. Tonight, it's over, for you."

POUNCE!
Shio arrived, and then Asahi appeared with her. Irie rushed to them, as Asahi called, "You alright, Irie?"

Irie said, "Yeah. This girl was a handful. She speaks haunting."

Sato ran to Shio and was crying. Asahi handcuffed the girl, as he said, "Who are you? And what do you want?"

The girl yelled, "I WANT THAT BITCH! SHE KILLED MY KEIICHI!"

Asahi barked, "Likely story! You're under arrest! Let's go!"

Irie asked, "How did you find her?"

Asahi said, "I noticed that she was tailing Sato, on the way over. We got our murderer."

The girl was appalled, as she was arrested for the murder of Mion Sonozaki & Shoko Hida.

The girl was taken in for questioning, as Asahi sat down at the table. The girl hissed. He said, "Don't try anything funny, kid. We already confiscated your weapons." He stated, "Now, who are you, and why did you kill innocent girls?"

The girl barked, "I did nothing! I was killing Sato, the real murderer!"

"HER? You're joking! We saw her, with Lt. Kyosuke Irie, walking her home. Matsuzaka saw Sgt. Hida ripped apart with a hook, by a woman dressed as a reject for Singing in the Rain!"

The girl bowed her head and said, "Then, it's happening now… I take it that it won't end, until she gets her happy life… for thousands of years. I know what goes on. And it happened to my boyfriend, Keiichi-kun."

"Boyfriend?"

"He was murdered… months ago in New York. I saw it with my own eyes. A girl in long hair… pink as roses… and…"

"I am so sorry…" he said, but paused.

"Ryugu. Rena Ryugu." She introduced herself, "And I apologize if I acted harshly towards Lt. Irie."

Irie said, "It's alright, friend. You thought it was someone else."

Rena said, "It's okay. Forget it. I thought I'd do a little investigating for myself. See, Keiichi was murdered, but it was at an exhibit in New York, local Utica, for that matter. And… And I saw a murder… so, I figured that I would assist you."

Irie asked, "Permit me to ask, but why are you, investigating this matter, when you're just a citizen?"

Rena explained, "The moment I heard about Mion's death in the newspaper, I knew… It's happened again! Like back in 1946, and 1948, and 1953, and 1956, and so on… the name is different, but the circumstances were the same."

Asahi asked, "You mean to say that it happened before?"

Rena nodded, "I am a globetrotter, and I traveled around the world. Sadly, France was where it started. A traveling waxworks comes to town. Then a series of violent acts appear, and then the museum relocates to another city, and another name, it appears again."

Asahi asked, "Are you saying my sister is a mass murderer? She wouldn't do that."

Rena said, "I'm not saying it's her. I mean, it could be a man, posing as women, killing innocent lives, and controlling your sister. A dark vibe does appear inside her, but I cannot guess. I have never uncovered the proof about her. I could not accuse the two… but there are fifty others."

"Wait a minute… You mean, the wax statues?" Irie asked.

Rena said, "Yes. It's true."

Asahi said, "But it's just Sato & Shio, only two. No one else."

Rena huffed, "Only two? No… Fifty mannequins of the famous yanderes in history. Have you heard of Pygmalion? The golem? This is the same story!"

"This is all legends and fiction!"

"I meant reality! TODAY! In every case, in every city, the victims were murdered, and the same fate was felt to them! And by every yandere in the waxworks!"

Irie huffed, "Oh, boy, now I've seen everything."

Rena explained, "Mion Sonozaki, last night! She was slain by a hatchet, after she drew a picture! The mannequin resembles Yuria, the hatchet murderer who cleaves her ex-boyfriend with an axe, like Lizzie Borden, only it's ONE whack, instead of forty!"

"What about Shoko, tonight? She was impaled by a hook, in a sneak attack."

"I am positive… she was killed by a mannequin."

"Well, I'm not!" Asahi said, "I had a full examination of my sister's wax museum, and there's NO woman that matches the description of the murderer. Long blue hair, a dark raincoat, rusty hook (that's the weapon), and thick-rimmed sunglasses, to avoid the eyes."

"I admit it was unusual…" Rena replied, "I was thinking of someone like her, but… I can remember." She pondered, as Asahi said, "Well, if you don't mind, we'll talk more about this, tomorrow."

"But you please… Let me go to my hotel, and show you evidence. My boyfriend was murdered, and-."

"I didn't say I don't believe you-!"

"USODA!" Rena hollered at the top of her lungs. She paused, as Asahi remarked, "Look, it's getting late. We'll discuss the rest of this, tomorrow. Right now, I think we can get a little rest."

Irie escorted Rena out, as Asahi concluded, "Tomorrow, we'll have a look at your archives of your travels, and find justice for your boyfriend. Will a morning wake-up call at 6 be suffice for you?"

Rena nodded, "As you wish. It has been a long day."

The policeman appeared, as Asahi called, "Sergeant, you are to guard her hotel room, until 6am, tomorrow. By then, we will relieve you."

Rena asked, "Wait… Why police protection?"

Asahi glared, "Miss Ryugu, we cannot take any chances. Until tomorrow morning, you're, as of now, a suspect. But I believe your story, and we want proof of your travels. Now, rest well, dear."

Rena walked off, under police escort.

XXXXX

It was late, as Rena was rummaging into the papers, concerning the wax statues' murders. She paced on the floor, still unsure on who or what the murderer could be. She went to the front door and peeked from below. She then saw the policeman's feet. She snarled, "Damn!"

She knew what she had to do… she had to go back to the wax museum. Only trouble is… the policeman is guarding the door, and she's on the 12th floor. She then grabbed a gun and slowly opened the door. She opened up and held the gun to the policeman's head.

WHAP!
She knocked him out with the butt of the gun, and then made a dash out to the stairs. She raced down the stairs, reaching the lobby. She ran out of her hotel to the back door, and cried out, "TAXI!"

She got in a taxi and said, "Madame Kobe's Wax Museum! And hurry!"

She drove off, heading back to the museum.

XXXXX

The door knocked, as Sato called, "Coming!" She opened the door, as Rena appeared to her. Sato shut the door, but Rena blocked her.

"NO! GET AWAY, YOU MURDERER!" Sato shrieked.

Rena cried, "BE REASONABLE! I'm not your murderer!"

Sato shouted, "LIAR! GET OUT!"

"I'm here to help you!"

Sato paused, as Rena said, "Please… Let me see Shio Kobe. Now!"

"She's sleeping. Besides, we're closed, and I have to help with the exhibits."

Rena stepped in, as she explained, "I'm sorry, but I wanted to be sure. I didn't mean to scare you."

"Then what? Why are you here, trying to scare me, at this late of night?"

Rena put her gun away, and said, "It's about the wax statues. I know about it from Shio's brother… especially what happened to my boyfriend. Rena Ryugu. My boyfriend, Keiichi, he was killed in New York, after a visit to your wax museum."

Sato asked, "You… You're a murderer!"

"On the contrary, I wanted truth. My boyfriend was killed, long ago. The police, they are not with me. I escaped. I identified myself as a citizen. And I apologize for my rude behavior. Please, let me inside. They won't know I'm here, for a while. Please…"

Sato nodded, "Very well." Rena stepped in, as she looked around the museum. Sato said to her, "You have ten minutes, and after that, you get out of here, you murderer! You have the same stench of one, by those blue eyes."

Rena said, "I do get panic attacks. But I am not coldblooded."

"Why did you follow me, just earlier?"

"Do not be alarmed."

"Haven't I seen you somewhere before?"

"I'm a traveler, with Keiichi. Don't worry about it."

"Was it in Paris?"

"No… actually, Paris, then England, Ireland, Canada, New York, and now Japan."

"So, this is not the first time you followed us!"

"Seventeen years! And I wasn't following you. Them." She pointed at the wax mannequins, "They are the murderers."

"They're only wax. You say nonsense!"

"Am I? My boyfriend was killed by one of them. Not because of Pygmalion magic… but by witchcraft! Seventeen years, the wax mannequins… no… the wax murderers… There have been new exhibits, and new victims, in its place."

"Surely, you do not ima-!"

"I do not imagine. I know. The police will believe in mannequin pranks, but never sorcery… black magic… But there are ways of bringing wax figures to life."

"You don't mean this silly story about mannequins coming to life. It was in a movie in the 80s."

"But that was romance. This is different." Rena stated, "She found the mannequin with the hook and said, "There it is… The mannequin that killed that nice detective. Emi Hakenzawa - the Blind Sailor. She was a fisherman by the wharf, until she was accidentally blinded by her fiancé. And in revenge, she murdered him, out of hatred. She was executed, after the murder. No one warned her, and she was buried by the country. But why do you make a death mask of her, like that?"

"No one made a death mask. It was a coincidence! I don't know this Hakenzawa, and it's no crime to steal a death mask!"

Rena said, "Yes, it's true. Shio Kobe created Emi Hakenzawa, without permission, mind you. Shio Kobe used many names, over the years. She plucked the hair of her, and molded her in her own image, like a voodoo doll."

"That's not true. Shio would nev-."

"You know something I don't, do you? Witches made small wax dolls the same way, in olden times. Voodoo doctors did the same thing. And when the dolls are destroyed, the victims die. But there are other spells that can bring mannequins to life. I haven't uncovered that. But that mannequin killed my lover, and I want answers from Shio, herself."

Sato stated, "Shio's sleeping. You have to leave, right now."

Rena glared at her, aiming her gun, "Take her to me!"

Sato walked to the wax room, as Rena pointed at her, "Where is she?"

"In her room… over there. I beg of you, come back tomorrow!" Sato pleaded.

Rena approached the door, as she pounded, "KOBE!" She called out, "I want a word with you, Kobe! Open the door! I warn you, I'm armed!" She then aimed her gun at the door, as Sato shrieked, "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

BANG!
Rena broke the door open, and barged into Shio's room. The room was empty. Only a bed, dresser, vanity mirror, and a closet. Rena asked, "You said she was in her room. You lied to me."

Sato pleaded, "NO-NO! I wasn't!"

"Is she weaving another spell?" Rena hissed, "What kind of tricks are you playing?"

Sato was about to speak, but then footsteps approached. Rena whispered, "Shh… Someone's coming."

Rena reached for her gun, and went to the figure, approaching her in the shadows. The steps went closer.

"Who's there?"

"D-Don't open that door!"

Rena opened the door, and then…
SLASH!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Rena shrieked, as she was slashed in the face. She stumbled around and fell into a vat of molten wax.

SPLASH!
She sank into the wax, as the mannequin appeared, holding a hook and a walking cane. It was the mannequin of The Blind Sailor - Emi Hazenkawa. She came to life, and killed Rena Ryugu.

Hours later, Asahi and Irie arrived at the museum, as they walked into the entrance. Asahi huffed, "Dammit… We have a lead, and all of a sudden, Miss Ryugu attacks an officer, and sneaks away to the museum!"

Irie smirked, "Don't let it get to you. Your sister and Sato will find her. For now, let's look for her."

They searched the exhibits, as Asahi searched each wax statue, using a flashlight. He then asked, "Kyosuke, I didn't know we had brand-new mannequins. Maybe you can date one of them."

He turned around and gasped. He saw Irie on the floor, dead. He cried, "IRIE!"

Shio appeared, as she asked, "WHO'S THERE?"

"Detective Kobe! It's me, Shio!"

She walked in and asked, "Oh, what happened?"

"Another murder. Also, where's Rena Ryugu? I heard she escaped."

"Who, the murderer in orange hair? No, not yet."

"Where's your phone?"

"In there."

Asahi went to the phone, as he called, "Hello? Chief? Yes, there's another murder in Madame Kobe's. Yes, I'll get right on it. Hello? H-Hello?" The phone died. He turned to Shio and asked, "The phone's dead. You got a cell-?"

Shio aimed her gun at Asahi and said, "No phone for you, brother…"

"Shio? You?"

She nodded, "Yes. You won't know everything… You know too much about my wax museum, brother… and now you die."

He barked, "How could you? How could you kill Irie?!"

"He knew too much, as well. You'll never know everything."

Asahi barked, "As a matter of fact, I do know everything. Just as Rena escaped, I searched her hotel room." He explained to her, "I know what you got. Rena's revolver. You didn't run into her yet. What did you do to her?"

"Nothing. But then again… Wax mannequins come to life, killing people… She was nuts."

"Maybe, maybe not, but her evidence in her hotel room, it's 100% accurate. It wasn't mannequins that come to life. I found the evidence of a score of deaths, caused by a living mannequin; but in this case, flesh and blood. You couldn't have done it, since you're too innocent. Many deaths, but one woman, who went into disguise." he reached for the hook and asked, "And this is her murder weapon-."

"PUT THAT DOWN!" Shio restrained him, but Asahi knocked the gun off her hands. He aimed at her and growled, "Alright, Sis… Where's Sato?"

"Sato?"

"Yes… Your assistant…"

"No… She's my lover… my girlfriend… my every happy sugar life… I love her. I love my Sato…"

"WHERE IS SHE?"

She pointed at the curtain. He opened the curtain and saw a wax mannequin of Sato. He asked, "Is this a joke?"

She confessed, "No joke… This is her."

"It's a mannequin."

"She's real. Believe me, Asahi…" she sniffled, "This is the real Sato Matsuzaka. She was a psychotic teen, accused of arson and murder, long ago. I was there, when I was a child, and I saw her. I fell in love with her. I was only 10. And when I grew up, after she died, she whispered in my head to mold her in her image. She told me to!"

"She what?"

"She was a murderer, and a psycho… that she didn't want to lose me. She was so beautiful…"

"Now, wait a minute! I've seen her alive! What are you saying?" He roared at her.

She explained, "Of course. As a way of making her image, after her death. She wanted me to preserve her beauty… and then told me to kill everyone, through disguise… and no one would ever know, not even you."

"Why? Why would you kill them? You killed Mion, then Irie and Shoko… and Rena… Why did you do it?"

"From time to time, her life force must be reenergized with fresh blood. And then molded into new wax. That's why I killed Rena Ryugu."

"What about Shoko & Irie?"

"No one must know the secret, not even your friends. They were meddling, like Rena! I had to get rid of them!"

Asahi said to her, "Now, listen to me. You're delusional. It's just a mannequin."

Shio held a candle and said, "No… She's real. She's just sleeping. But I will awaken her, to prove it to you. But for tomorrow, when I speak the spell, she'll wake up." She admired the Sato Mannequin, as she said, "Look at her… She's beautiful… Eternally beautiful… Isn't she worth dying for?"

Asahi shivered, "I can't believe it… You killed them, for a mannequin?"

Shio whispered, "You do not understand… because she is my lover. What does it matter if fools must die? As long as such beauty is preserved forever… and brother…" Her eyes went demonic, as she whispered, "You will help me bring her back… You cannot take away true love, brother…" she roared, as she held the candle up, "AND IT STARTS WITH YOUR BLOOD!" She lunged at her own brother.

BANG!
Asahi shoots at Shio at the stomach. She stumbled down, and fell to the ground. The candle rolled towards Sato, as it was set ablaze. Shio screamed, "NO! SATOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Asahi cried, holding onto Shio, as the mannequin was ablaze, "NO! The real Sato Matsuzaka is alive, somewhere! Understand, this is only a mannequin!"

Sato's face starts to slowly melt, as Shio gasps for air, "You… understand… This is Sato… Matsu… zaka… She's… my mannequin that… comes to… life…" Her eyes closed, as she croaked, "I… I molded her… over her… dead… bo… body…" She collapsed and died.

Asahi gasped, "What?" as he watched the mannequin melt down. Asahi held his dead sister in his arms, as he watched the mannequin of Sato melt down like a candle. Her face slowly melted into nothing, and then, holes appeared from where her eyes were. And then, after the face melted, it broke open, revealing a skull. A human skull.

"My… god…" Asahi covered his mouth in fright, as Shio Kobe was precise. Sato Matsuzaka was alive, and Shio created her, her once-true lover, in her image, over her corpse. The wax statue collapsed, melted wax and bones and all, still set in flames. Asahi sobbed, as he hugged Shio, knowing that she did all this, not just for murder, but for love.

(Hanajima): Portrait of a dying love… Sato Matsuzaka - a beautiful living wax statue, now nothing more than a melted candle of a corpse. She was molded to help her lover, but fate ended her. Shio Kobe, former wax curator now-deceased, wished to see her lover again, only for her Happy Sugar Life to be set ablaze… and all for blood…
all for love…
and all for nothing…

June was shocked, as Beth was amazed. Heather nodded, "Wow… Sucks to be Shio, huh?"

Hanajima nodded, "The End."

June said, "Amazing… A beautiful girl-on-girl romance, and Shio did all this… for murder."

Beth smiled, "That was so cool! I was sad that the man died, just when they were about to date."

Hanajima said, "The murders happened in one night. Of course, the deaths of three people happened on the same night. The girl in the beginning was an example. Shio was only lonely, and Sato cared for her, after taking her in. And when she died, she wanted to make her immortal."

Beth asked, "You made her an adult… Why was she an adult, if she's 10?"

Hanajima sighed, "To be honest, I didn't want incest, even for Happy Sugar Life."

Beth smiled, "Thank goodness I'm still young."

Heather said, "Indeed. But we're just beginning…" She turned to the audience, as she responded, "This is only the beginning… Who says you go to a theater to see a horror flick? Stay tuned…"
