Inside a village, some farmers are tending to their crops, when some trucks screech to a halt near them and henchmen get out. One of them knock on a backdoor of a truck with a baseball bat.
"All clear, boss!" He calls, and suddenly the door slams open, knocking him down as a shadowy figure walks out.
"What am I doing out here? Ah, I hate the country." A woman with a mohawk complains. "I'm a city girl!" She reaches out and grabs one of the henchmen. "New rule! From now on, we only commit crimes in the city!" She tells two of the henchmen, who shrink back in fear. "Unless they pay triple." She throws him to the ground.
"Uh, they are paying triple, Mrs. Demeanor." One of them tells her.
"It's not Mrs. Demeanor, it's Miss Demeanor!" She angerly pulls out a flamethrower and fires it at her henchmen. "How many times do I have to say it?"
"Sorry, Miss Demeanor."
"Why'd they want to meet out here anyway?" She continued to complain. "We're in the middle of nowhere!" She folds her arms.
"Probably so those nosy ninja don't find us." The other henchmen said.
"Too late for that!" Lloyd's voice called. He, Kai, and Jay dramatically reveal themselves.
"The Ninja!" The first henchman called out.
"Ooh, I've been waiting for this!" Miss Demeanor calls out, almost happy, causing the three Ninja to give her confused looks. "I've worked so hard to make it to the top. And it's actually happening!" She rambled, but soon caught herself. "Oh, wait, wait, wait, I had a line for this. Oh yeah, I've got a warm welcome planned!" she fires her flamethrowers at the Ninja, they easily jump and dodge out of the way of the fire. "Get the trucks out of here. You four, get the ninja!" She turns and runs off.
"I don't get it. Why do we fight common thugs so often?" Jay asks as takes down two henchmen.
Miss Demeanor jumps onto the top of one of the trucks. "So long, boys! I hope our paths cross again!" She laughs as the truck starts to get away, until Cole confronts her.
"How's this? Too soon?" He charges his bike at the trucks and fires at them, disabling two. Miss Demeanor fires at him, knocking his dirt bike over, the third truck speeds his way and Cole yelps, jumping out of the way and running along side the truck before jumping down as the truck drives past him.
Miss Demeanor laughs as she watches him. "Nice try, ninja! You almost had me!"
Cole pulls off his hood then looks down to see piles of Vengestone lying everywhere. "Vengestone?"
Kai, Jay, and Lloyd just finished fighting off the henchmen. "Jeanette, Nya, Zane, they're headed your way!" Lloyd calls. "Cut them off. We'll catch up!"

The three Ninja are running. "We're on it." Nya calls.

Miss Demeanor sees the three Ninja, trying to cut her off. "Faster, go faster! They're trying to cut us off!"
"Yes, Miss Demeanor."

"Jen, get ready with the wind. Nya, need a little water power." Lloyd instructs as he, Kai, and Jay continued to run.
"Right!" Jeanette called.
"I'm on it!" Nya added.
"Zane, get ready." Lloyd continued. "As soon as Nya douses the truck, flash freeze everything."
"Affirmative."

Jeanette finally gets in front of the truck and summons up a large vortex of wind, before slamming it into the hard into the truck, sending it swaying left and right. "Nya!" She calls as she continues to slam her wind into the truck to keep it distracted.
Nya jumps next to her. "Here goes!" She summons a water tornado but it spirals out of control.
"Now! Hit the truck!" Lloyd calls, but the water tornado goes around the truck. "Nya, drop it on the truck!"
"I'm trying! It's not obeying!"
Miss Demeanor laughs with her hands on her hips as she continues to stand on the truck. "Ha! She's lost control! That's embarrassing!"
Jeanette screamed when the water tornado hit her and she was thrown far away from everyone.
"Jen!" Lloyd cried.
"I got her!" Cole calls, reving his dirt bike, his back wheel turned in a circle, bringing up dust and dirt as he speeds off in the direction Jeanette went flying in.
"Nya!" Zane leaps and pushes her out of the way just as the water tornado comes their way.
"Get your act together! I'm doing my part. Am I the only professional?" Miss Demeanor taunts the Ninja as the truck gets away from them.
Jay pulls off his hood. "They're getting away!"
Cole speeds back up with Jeanette sitting behind him.
"I know, but I think we have bigger problems." Lloyd said, pointing at the water tornado.
Zane turns forward and tries to freeze the tornado. "I - I can't hold it!" He cried, just before the tornado breaks free.
"Look out!" Lloyd yells, and the team leap out the way. "Nya, just drop the water back down!"
Nya thrusts her arms out as she tries to take back command. "I'm trying! Nothing's working!"
Cole sees a village up ahead. "What do we do? There's a village full of farmers over there!"
"Evacuate the village. If this much water comes down on top of them, someone might get hurt!" Lloyd orders before taking off at a run.

The Ninja rush towards the village.
"Nice and calm everyone!" Lloyd tells those who are outside. "There's no reason or concern. Just keep moving."
Jay turns a villager around. "Right this way!" He escorts the man to safety.
Zane runs up to a child. "Come along, child."
The kid moves his hand off his shoulder. "I want to stay and see the water." He points at the water tornado.
Zane shook his head. "I'm afraid that would be very dangerous." He turns a little to see the water tornado.
"It's okay, I'm a Nindroid like you." The kid says as Zane picks him up and hurries away with the kid over his shoulder. "Beep, boop, bop!"
"I do not speak like that." Zane told him, offended.
After helping the last villager, Jeanette turns just in time to see the water tornado stop and explode. "RUN!" She screams, twisting around and falling when she trips over her own feet.
"Jen!" Lloyd yells, Jeanette runs towards the higher ground where Lloyd and Kai each grab a hand and help her up, just in time for the flood to hit the village and everyone is drenched. Jay spits out some water and catches a chicken when it lands in his arms.
Kai turns to look at his sister in concern, but Nya looks away uncomfortable.

At the Monastery and inside the Hanger Bay, Master Wu is questioning the team about the mission.
"What was in the trucks?"
"Vengestone." Cole answered as he held up one, making Jeanette make a face.
"Why are you holding that? And ever better, why did you bring it back?"
Lloyd places a hand on her shoulder. "It was a huge shipment." He told his uncle. "Three trucks worth."
"Hmm." Wu stroked his beard. "Very peculiar." He turns in his chair to face the computer. "Vengestone has few practical uses." He turns his chair back around to face the team. "Why would anyone be smuggling Vengestone?"
"We don't know." Lloyd said. "The criminal called herself Miss Demeanor, but she got away before we could ask her."
"You let her escape?" Wu asked in surprise.
"We didn't exactly ... let her." Kai said uneasy.
"We were forced to contend with ... unexpected complications." Zane added.
"What complications?" Wu arched an eyebrow.
"It was me!" Nya's voice had him surprised. "Ok?" The team turn and watch as Nya walks up to them as she rants. "Just saying. I messed everything up. I had a teensy tiny little momentary loss of control, and I kind of created a small tidal wave."
Wu walks between the Ninja. "How?" He questions.
"I don't know how! Ok? Can we change the subject?" She asks, looking away.
"Nya, it was a hundred foot tall tornado of water." Lloyd reminds her.
"We've all made mistakes! It's no big deal. It won't happen again, ok?" Nya yells.
"Ok." Cole said, still holding the Vengestone in his hand.
"Yeah, ok." Lloyd agreed.
"Sure." Jeanette also agreed.
Nya turns to the other side of Wu.
"Right!" Jay agreed with his hands on his hips.
"Affirmative." Zane finished.
"Good!" As she turns to walk away, the alarms start blaring as the sprinklers activate and the computer malfunctions.
"Oh no, the sprinklers!" Jay cried, they all turn to look at Nya.

The Ninja, minus Nya are gathered in the library as Master Wu looks through a scroll.
"Just as I thought." Wu turns back to face the Ninja as he holds up the scroll. "This is a complete list of the elemental powers, but there is no mention of water, or wind."
"What does that mean?" Cole asks.
"My father, the First Spinjitzu Master, used to tell me an old fairy tale about how he mastered all of the elemental powers, but never wind or water." Wu said as the turns to walk over to a different wall and put the scroll away.
"Why not?" Lloyd asked. "Couldn't Grandfather control those elements?"
Wu stood up. "He said those were not his to command. They belonged to someone else." He turns around to face the Ninja again as he holds a different scroll. "To Wojira."
"Wojira. That name is familiar to us. If my database is correct, it was a storm spirit of some kind." Zane said.
"Wojira commanded the elements of water and wind." Wu tells them. "When combined, they became a force of destruction." He unravels the scroll he's holding and places it down on the table. "The Fury of the Storm."
A picture of a sea serpant and a man throwing a tyrant at it is shown.
"That's Wojira?" Jeanette asks.
"I believe so." Wu nods.
"What does it say?" Cole asks.
"Very little, I'm afraid." Wu answered. "It says here that the First Spinjitzu Master conquered her with the help of the Merlopians."
"I have no mention of the word "Merlopian" in any of my databases." Zane said with a frown.
Wu starts to walk away. "They were a sea folk. They lived here before my father came, but there is little else known about them." He said as he walked around Lloyd, Jeanette, and Jay and placed a hand on Zane's shoulder, before picking up the magnifying glass. "In the midst of the battle, a Merlopian warrior with a trident and a helmet rose from the depths of the great ocean, and pried from the serpent's head two amulets: an amulet of storm, and an amulet of wave. And the seas grew calm, and the great serpent fell into a deep slumber."
"An amulet of storm." Lloyd realized. "Like the one on the Island of the Keepers?"
"So Nya's powers are linked to Wojira?" Cole asked. "Or these amulets?"
"What about me?" Jeanette asked with worry, her arms wrapped tightly around herself. "My powers are just fine and I'm the wind Ninja."
"It's possible." Wu said uncertain. "I don't know. We need to find someone who does."
"Who?" Zane questions.
Wu turns to Kai. "What about your mother? She was the elemental master of water before Nya. She might be able to help Nya regain control of her powers."
Kai sighs. "Nya and mom aren't that close. They hardly know each other. Our parents were gone most of our childhood."
"They were imprisoned by Krux." Zane reminds.
"Yeah, you can't exactly blame them." Jay said.
"I don't. But it doesn't change the fact that we grew up on our own. Nya is pretty independent, in case you haven't noticed."
The boys each agreed.
"I'm sure that she will understand. Nya is reasonable." Wu said.

Later, Rocky watches from the safety of a window as Nya furiously trains. Kai walks up to him.
"Have you seen your mom?"
"Outside." Rocky points out the window, he then turns to his uncle. "What happened today? Did you kick butt as usual?" He asks hopefully.
Kai nervously laughs. "Sure." He moves towards the door and walks out. Rocky shrugs and turns to go find his father.

Out in the courtyard, Nya is furiously training.
"Hey, sis." Kai walks up with his hand behind his head.
"What's up, Kai?"
Kai comes up to her. "Oh, nothing. Say now, I was just talking to Master Wu, about your little problem, and he had an interesting idea."
Nya pauses in her training as she breaths heavily from her training. "What interesting idea?"
Kai's nervous now. "Uh, he thought maybe you should consider calling ... mom."
"Mom? Why?"
"She was the elemental master of water before you. You know, she can help, offer advice, or something?" Kai tries.
Nya continues to train and her brother backs away from her. "I don't need help. I can figure it out! I just need to relax a bit. Find my focus again. Regroup!"
"I'm just saying, she might know something. She might be able to fix your little problem."
"I don't have a problem. I made one mistake, ok? A teensy tiny mistake and it won't happen again!" Nya punches the training pose so hard a branch breaks and it sails past a startled Kai and hits the wall of the building.
"I'm gonna go." Kai starts to back away. "Skylor's actually calling me!" He nervously walks towards the gates of the courtyard. "Bye sis!" He calls before the gates close behind him.
Nya turns back to the training post and starts to beat the crap out of it, before completely destroying it. "Who's losing control now? Not me!"

Once inside, Nya passes the bathroom just as the toilet flushes.
"Oh no! The toilet's exploding! Someone help!" Jay cries from inside the bathroom.
Nya quickly runs away.

In the kitchen, Zane is doing the dishes when the tapwater goes out of control. Nya quickly runs away. She hides in the gaming room only to find her two favorite boys: Cole and Rocky playing a video game with three bottles of soda and two water bottles, Nya runs away just as the three sodas and two water bottles spray out of control, startling the two boys as they had fallen off the back of the couch.

Back outside in the courtyard, Nya is walking towards the gates when Wu's voice stops her.
"Nya, we need to talk."
Suddenly there's a knock on the gates.
Nya sighs. "I'll get it." She opens the doors dejectedly and is shocked to see her parents.
"Nya dear, oh, you poor thing!" Maya exclaimed as she took Nya's face. "Look at you! Kai told me all about what's happening and I don't want you to worry anymore. Whatever it is, we're gonna figure it out, you and me, mother and daughter, working together. I'll be with you every single moment of every day, until we figure this out." She hugs her daughter tightly, then turns towards the gates. "Bring the bags, Ray!" She walks past a stunned Nya, and about to past Kai. "Kai, sweetie, is Blaze here with you?" She turns with her hands on her hips. "Where are my grandbabies?"
"No, sorry mom. He's with Skylor today." Kai answered.
Suddenly Rocky comes running out of the building. "Grandma!"
"Oh, Rocky dear!" Maya scoops him into a big hug. "Look how big you are!" She pinches his cheeks, then turns to Kai. "Oh, Kai, which way is Nya's room?"
"Oh, uh, uh, that way." Kai points, he turns to his father buried under a pile of luggage.
"Hi son. Good to see you." Ray greets breathlessly from all the weight.
"Hi ... dad. Do you need a hand?"
"Oh, no, I've got it! I'm ... good." He nearly loses his balance, but is able to stumble after Maya.
Nya angerly stalks over to her brother, glaring menacingly. "Kai!"
Everyone else looks at her with a scared expression, especially Jay, who is hiding behind Wu.
Kai just shrugs and smiles. "What?"

Ok, I'm not sure how to tie Jeanette into this, since she has the elemental wind.
