I looked over at the tortuga girl on my right, I had seen her before at the temple I knew she was younger then me she was 14 or 15 I couldn't be sure I had turned 16 the month previously I don't know what it was about that fact but it greatly irritated me, I took a deep breath and tried to release the emotion into the force something I had always struggled doing, and given the fact that I was still irritated hadn't gotten any better at.
"1 minute till we land" said the clone pilot snapping me out of my thoughts I stood up and walked to the front of the ship to get a look at the planet below.
Christophsis was the third planet I had been to and it was by far the most beautiful and emerald architectural marvel, if it hadn't been for the plumes of smoke obvious signs of battle and now we were closer what I could see was bodies covering the floor. The floor shook as we landed and I heard the door open so I made my way to the back of the transport.
I saw the Tortuga was talking to two men that I recognised instantly they were the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as I walked closer I picked up on their conversation.
"And who are you supposed to be?" asked knight Skywalker.
"I'm Ahsoka and this is" gesturing towards me but stopping short when she realised she didn't know my name.
"Avon master Yoda sent us." I responded shortly.
"He also told us to tell you that you must return to the Jedi temple immediately there's an emergency." Ahsoka finished. I wandered how she could be oblivious to the damage and signs of recent fighting that littered the area around us.
"I don't know if you've noticed but we are in a bit of an emergency rights here." Knight Skywalker snarked at her.
"Yes our communications have been a bit unreliable but we've been calling for help." master Kenobi said in a far more level voice.
"Master Yoda hadn't heard from you so he sent us to deliver a message." Ashoka said, sounding a little nervous.
Knight Skywalker let out a annoyed sigh "great they don't even know we're in trouble" he ranted angrily
"You can send a signal up to the ship using the transport that dropped us off" I stated hoping to be of use, I saw the pair of senior Jedi exchange a look as master Kenobi raised an eyebrow.

The four of us stood around the communicator "were under attack by separatist warships" I heard a voice say as I was only half listening as I was preoccupied thinking about the battle on the ground and why the enemy had retreated and what they were planning.
"Master Kenobi glad Ahsoka and Avon found you I am" master Yoda said his voice bringing me back to reality
"Master Yoda we are trapped here and vastly outnumbered" master Kenobi replied sternly "we are in no position to go anywhere or do anything are support ships have all been destroyed"
"Send reinforcements to you we will" master Yoda before we lost connection and he was cut off
"We've lost the transmission sir" a clone cut in only to be interrupted by a second voice "we have to leave orbit immediately more enemy ships have just arrived we will get back to you as soon as we can" then the communicator shut off
"Looks like we will have to hold out a little longer" knight Skywalker said in a half joking manner.
After a few seconds of silence Master kenobi seemed to remember that we were there the proceeded to take a few steps towards us and said "my apologies young ones it's time for a proper introduction" he said politely and as he stood there I sized him up properly instead of the once over I had done when we first landed. He was a similar height to me around 6 ft tall he wore no cloak over his light armor that contrasted with the dark colour of mine and Knight Skywalkers armour however out of the four of us I was the only one wearing a cloak that concealed my lightsaber and that might have been that reason that he directed the question to her.
"I'm the new Padawan learner I'm Ahsoka Tano"
"And I am the other Padawan Avon Malitan"
"Two Padawan I don't understand could one of you please explain what is going on here" master Kenobi asked in obvious confusion
"Well Master Kenobi Avon has been assigned to you but I have been assigned to Master Skywalker"
"No no no no he's the only one who asked for a Padawan not me" master Skywalker said in a panic
"No Master Yoda was very specific. I am assigned to Anakin Skywalker and he is to supervise my Jedi training" said Ahsoka looking slightly and quite understandably hurt at not being wanted.
"But that doesn't make any sen—"
"We will have to sort this out later it won't be long before those droids figure out a way around our canons." Interrupted Master Kenobi with a slight smile on his face.
"I'll check on Rex and the lookout post"
"You better take her with you" said Master Kenobi with barely suppressed glee smiling as the two of them walked away
"It is good to meet you I am your new master" said Master Kenobi finally addressing me
"Good to meet you to master but I would like to talk to you about the canons" I responded my voice coming out a little rushed
"Straight down to business then ok what is your idea"
"I think we need to move the cannons back as there first course of action will be to find a way around them and I believe that they will do this with either a long range explosive attack or some kind of shield and moving them back would mean that any long range attack would miss and also give us more time to react and deal with a shield if they take that option but that's just off the top of my head." I said looking at the surprised look on Master Kenobi's face
Then he turned around and started walking away I hurried to catch up with him worried that I had gone to far
"Where are we going"
"To tell Coady to push the canons back of course" he said smiling "out of interest what did you get your highest marks on at the temple"
"Strategic planning and force abilities"
"Well if your force abilities are anything like your strategic ones then the droids won't stand a chance" he said with a chuckle
