An alternative ending of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)

I created an alternate ending for the Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin manga, divided into 3 chapters. My ending part of the middle of chapter 136, when Falco appears with Gabi and Annie to save the group that had gone to the Founding Titan of Eren. I detailed and contextualized the exact moment when my ending begins with a note, before the first chapter begins.

1. Chapter 1

Note: this is my ending of Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin, which starts in the middle of chapter 136. The events of my ending begin when Falco appears in the form of his flying Titan, along with Annie and Gabi, to save Levi, Reiner, Jean, Connie and Mikasa. Pieck has already armed the explosives around the Founding Titan and was picked up by the Warhammer Titan. At Falco, they decide to come up with a plan that involves a group split, Jean and Reiner will go to Pieck and will be responsible for blowing the back of the Founding Titan's neck, while Connie, Mikasa, and Annie will go after Titan Okapi to rescue Armin, who had been captured. The first chapter will address the first quoted group, while the second chapter, the second group, both take place simultaneously, only in different locations, they will cross at the end of the second. Thus, having a third chapter to finalize the story and an epilogue to the conclusion.

Chapter 1-

At the exact moment the groups designate their functions, Falco tries to get as close as possible to Pieck's location, of course there is resistance on the part of the Warhammer Titans, who launch projectiles of all shapes to prevent their advance. Even though it is only his second transformation, Falco mentalizes the promise he had made to Reiner and this increases his determination in a way never seen before, he retracts his wings to increase the momentum and decrease the chances of being hit. In the midst of so many spears and arrows, he manages to fly over the carcass of the Titan of Pieck, creating a moment for Reiner to jump, already transforming into the Armored Titan and falling among the Titans who are near Pieck. Jean jumps right away using the O.D.M Gear to cling to one of the towers of bones that lie at the center of the long body of the Founding Titan. His goal is to get close to Pieck's Titan to trigger the detonator, which lies on the back of the Cart Titan, who was caught by a trident from a Warhammer. Reiner will serve as the focus of the Titans, trying to kill as much as possible and letting Jean go straight to where Pieck is.

Jean does his best to approach Pieck, but even as Reiner draws the attention of several Titans, Jean does not go unnoticed and quickly finds himself in a situation of danger, as Galliard's Titan somehow surprises him by coming out from underneath where he was. Before Jean can think of where to go, he is also cornered by two other Titans who appear around him. Everything slows down, Jean makes an expression of fear along with indignation, he knows he can't die there, not like that, so he targets his O.D.M Gear in the head of one of the Titans who was on his right, but going in the direction he aimed at, won't give time to get rid of Galliard, Reiner appears and punches Galliard's Titan in the middle of the air, pushing him away, freeing Jean from the bite.

- Reiner?! Who knew, after all, that we would still work together. - Jean just turns and heads towards Pieck, as his goal is closer than it looks.

Reiner hits Galliard hard on the chest, he doesn't know exactly what he feels at that moment, he would never have imagined that he would do this to his friend, but he doesn't have time to think, he already has many sins on his mind. Jean heads towards Pieck and as he approaches, more Titans appear in his path and without quite understanding how, a bright, yellow light emerges from the direction of the Warhammer Titan who had trapped Pieck, he soon sees that Pieck's Cart Titan appears biting the back of the Warhammer's neck, and recognizes that Pieck is alive. She kills the Warhammer and heads towards the other Titans that were located near Jean, so she can make room for him to reach the detonator. On the other side, Reiner finds himself in a direct conflict with Galliard and many other Titans, but what he didn't expect is Marcel's Titan, which appears on one of the bone columns to his right. Reiner immediately remembers that day, the day they were together for the last time, before breaking down Maria's Wall, before it all began, the day Marcel gave his life for Reiner's. Reiner looks at him and says to himself:

- Even you Marcel?! Would it be that if I had died that day things would have been different? I think now I really understand your apology, you knew from the beginning, there is no salvation for a bearer of Titan, look how far we've come.

Reiner leaves towards Marcel's Titan, he knows that this is no time to hesitate, since he survived that day and all these years, he cannot stop, he has to go on until the end. When he comes running close to Marcel, he slows down, so that at a certain distance he stops and lets the Jaw Titan jump towards him, who goes with his mouth open aiming at the face of the Armored Titan, but Reiner turns his body and grabs him in the air, using Marcel's own impulse to throw him as far as possible. There is no time to look at where he went, as the Titan of Galliard is already jumping towards the back of Reiner's neck, he manages to perceive the danger and quickly puts the hand of his Titan to protect the back of his neck, but Galliard rips off his hand with his powerful jaw. He is ready for a second bite, but Reiner with his other hand manages to reach those hairs around Galliard's head and hurls him away. With this, Reiner gets up and tries to reposition, however, already receives a spear from a Titan Warhammer in the leg and soon after appears another Armored Titan that punches his face, leading him straight to the ground.

Jean tries to take advantage of the loophole that Pieck created, causing many Titans to aim at her. As it is going forward, he does not see what is happening to Pieck, but knows that she will be able to fight, his concern is ahead as there are still many Titans between him and the detonator. He avoids fighting, he knows there's no need to risk it, he just tries to go where the carcass of Pieck's Titan is. He arrives at a spot where he can see an enormous amount of steam being exhaled, thus understanding that it may be the carcass of Pieck's Titan and is where the detonator is. There's still a lot of Titans between him and the detonator, but he doesn't have a choice, and even if he did, he knows he has to go ahead, he has to find a way to get past the Titans. Unfortunately, there's not much to aim your O.D.M Gear for at that location, so what goes through your head is to use the Titans themselves around you to get to the detonator. So he goes, aims at the neck of a Titan who looks like some kind of Beast Titan that tries to hit him with his right arm, but Jean uses the O.D.M Gear gas to dodge and when the hook fully pulls him, he stands on the shoulder of that Beast and soon aims at the back of a Jaw Titan, which is closest to Jean and the Founding long bone structures. Without the Jaw Titan having noticed, he lands on his back and soon jumps on one of the columns, which give greater mobility to use the O.D.M Gear Jean will move through the columns and getting closer to his goal, he ignores all the Titans trying to stop him and recognizes that the detonator must be about 10 yards away. When he gets a little closer, something happens that he didn't expect, a Cart Titan appears in the midst of that steam smoke, next to the carcass of Pieck's Titan, and just like that, he bites the place where the detonator was supposed to be and disappears from Jean's range amid so much steam. Jean is in the air when he sees this scene, for a moment he fills with despair and asks himself:

- What should I do? Did he eat the detonator? Should I try to find him? - He looks ahead and recognizes that there is no more possibility, he does not know the location of this Cart Titan, outside that in front of him still has many other Titans, his only option is to return, the only way to end it all is by releasing Armin.

Reiner finds himself almost unconscious on the ground, that blow coming from another Armored hit him hard, he really does not know if he has the strength to continue and for a moment reminds his mother:

- How is she now, is my mother already dead? Did she really feel proud of me when I became a candidate? All I could think about was having a good life for us, Mom, saving our world, being the hero, is that what Eren wants? - Reiner takes a deep breath. - It's like he said "we are the same".

Many Titans begin to move in your direction, ready to strike the final blow. Reiner decides to come out of his Titan and already aims with his O.D.M Gear at the leg of an Attack Titan, who was closest to him. He goes with everything in his direction and even though he is very low, the Titan soon realizes and while he is going, Reiner is caught by his hand in the middle of the way. The Attack Titan leads Reiner towards his mouth, is ready to eat him, but at this point Reiner bites his hand with all his might. A yellow flash fills that place, that hand that was holding it is shattered and that Titan's head just explodes. Reiner is back in town.

Jean in the midst of that situation decides to return, he must go to the middle of the Founding Titan, where Armin must be. He tries his best to get around only in the bone structure, avoiding the Titans. There's a yellow flash ahead of you, should it be Pieck or Reiner? He sees the movement of several Titans going in that direction and then another flash happens, he knows that if it's Reiner or Pieck, they might be already at their transformation limit, it's up to him to try to help in some way. Pieck is then spotted, she is surrounded by several other Titans, she has been cornered, however, Jean appears from the top, killing one of the Titans, thus creating a moment for Pieck to run and jump away. Jean already walks up to her and shouts:

- Pieck! The detonator was swallowed by a Titan, we can no longer blow the neck of the Founding Titan, we have to look for Armin. - Pieck understands the change of plans, there is not much to talk about, actually there is no time, an Armored Titan appears on his side, ready to punch her, forcing her to eject from her Titan, getting free in the air and then Jean comes along to pick her up. Jean looks at her and recognizes that she is already exhausted, he just says:

- We have to get you out of here, you're not gonna make it, Pieck.

- I know my limit Jean, I can handle one more transformation. You need to let go of me, there's no point in carrying me around, or we'll both die. - Pieck screams while they're moving. - You have to find Armin, I'll buy you some time to escape, I'll get these Titans off your back.

- If I release you, you're dead.

- I know the risks, but at least I'll take some of those bastards with me. - Pieck looks back and sees that many Titans are after them, she knows her destiny and is not afraid to face it. - She looks at Jean and gives a slight smile. - I count on you Jean. - He clearly hesitates, how can you just let her go? But he knows it won't work carrying her, and he needs to warn Reiner to go towards Armin. He looks to her and says:

- Damn it, Pieck! I'm sorry. - And then, let her go.

In the middle of the air, Pieck falls towards a Jaw Titan, who only opens his mouth to let her in, but she transforms when she gets very close to him. His transformation completely explodes that Titan and soon jumps off biting the face of a Beast Titan, so the other Titans who were following Jean stop and go after Pieck. While biting the Beast Titan, he manages to grab Pieck's body, almost as if he were trying to immobilize her and a Warhammer Titan throws a spear that totally nails Pieck's body into the Beast. The impulse ends up throwing them both to the ground. She is inert there, there is nothing else to do, it knows that it has reached its end. They gather a cluster of Titans around them, who mercilessly slaughter the Titan of Pieck.

Jean does not look back, he knows that his back is free, but is filled with dread when there are several loud noises, as if they were stepping on something. He just goes ahead, he must go to Reiner's reach.

Reiner finds himself fighting some Titans, it's like they never stop showing up. He rips off the head of a Beast, but soon appears a Cart jumping towards his face. He gets rid of it, but how long? - The thought goes through his head:

- Where is Jean? Why hasn't that pile of bones exploded yet? Is everything okay with Pieck?

He just keeps fighting, that's all he's got left. Titans appear more and more around him, he has just received a strong kick from a Female Titan who is behind him, causing him to fall to his knees on the ground. He tries to get up, but Galliard appears and jumps to bite the back of his neck, putting a bite sideways, then a doubt arises, which is stronger, Galliard's jaw or Reiner's hardening? Reiner inside his Titan feels that the outside is about to open, if he doesn't get out of there somehow, Galliard will devour him. Galliard fails to break the hardening in a single bite, so he stops biting and takes a certain distance to be able to bite again, this creates the opportunity for Reiner, who understands that Galliard will take another bite, So he takes his two open hands toward the back of his neck, so that they can fit into Galliard's jaw, placing one of them, at the bottom and the other at the top. It becomes a competition of strength, but Reiner seems to be giving in, every second, Galliard is closer to killing him. Reiner uses the last energies he possesses and with his hands he forces Galliard's jaw to open completely, he breaks it. Galliard falls to the side and without time to absorb what has just happened, he ends up having to come out of his Titan and jump to the side, as he realizes he will receive an attack from a Warhammer Titan, a long sickle is on its way.

Jean had travelled a good distance since he was with Pieck, he managed to get rid of some Titans on the way and then in front of him he spots something, the Titan of Reiner was on his knees on the ground and there was a Warhammer Titan carrying an immense sickle, heading towards him. Jean understands that Reiner will be split in two, but as he approaches, he manages to spot Reinar coming out of his Titan's neck and soon sees him jumping, moments before the Warhammer attack. After this blow, Jean passes seconds later and he passes by the body of the Armored Titan, which was split in two, but he knows that Reiner had jumped, but does not know where he went, should have been given time to use the O.D.M Gear somewhere.

When Reiner jumps, the first thing he does is aim his O.D.M Gear at the first spot he sees, but when he pulls the trigger nothing comes out, he looks at the gas cylinder and sees that it's completely destroyed, it must have been damaged when that Attack Titan grabbed him with his hand. He just falls, however, hears a voice from on high:

- Reiner?! - Jean does not know for sure why Reiner did not activate his O.D.M Gear, but he understands that something must have happened, so he goes with all speed in his direction.

- Stretch your arm, I'll catch you! - Jean shouts. Reiner, who had jumped on his stomach, only turns and aims his arm in Jean's direction, allowing him to catch him and soon aim for those pilasters that compose the Founding Titan.

When they are pulled onto a pilaster, Jean stands upright in a vertical way, still holding Reiner, he says:

- What happened to your O.D.M Gear?

- It has been broken, but what are you doing here? Why didn't Eren's head explode? And where is Pieck?

Jean does not answer, therefore, the hook of his O.D.M Gear is feeling the weight of the two and apparently many Titans are coming towards them. Looks like there's a Titan coming up ahead, jumping through the central structure, looks like a Jaw Titan?

- We have to get down, the O.D.M Gear hook won't hold out much longer. - Reiner looks to the side where the Titans are coming and soon recognizes that the first Titan is Marcel's Titan.

- You will have to let me go, Jean. - Again in that same situation. Will he be able to go through this again? All he has left is to leave your comrades to die?

- Shut up, you idiot, we have to get out of this, you can't handle another transformation?

- I'm at my limit Jean, I'm tired of this, tired of everything, I just want to rest, close my eyes and have a long sleep. - Marcel approaches and the hook gives a weak.

- Damn it, Reiner, you need to try, it can't end like this, I... I can't forgive you if you're dead, come on, let's go! - Marcel is getting closer.

- I told you, Jean, I'm not worthy. I'm sorry - Even with his O.D.M Gear broken, Reiner still had his blades, he unsheathes one and cuts his own arm in half.

At the moment that he is falling, Jean just screams, but Reiner doesn't hear anything, he just looks to the side and sees that Titan of Marcel is already in the air with his mouth wide open. He just thinks to himself:

- It had to be you, Marcel, nothing more fair than that. I will finally be able to rest. Will I have any comfort? - He closes his eyes. - I'm sorry Eren. - The Jaw Titan bites him in the air, there is a great splash of blood that spreads in all directions.

Jean hardly believes what he has just seen, his face shows absolute terror and he is still holding half of Reiner's arm. A strong sickness takes care of his stomach, he just gets rid of that arm as quickly as possible and when looking to the side from where Marcel came, the other Titans are almost to meet him, he cannot stay there. On the other side, not so far away, he only sees what appears to be Connie, who appears to be trapped in the long pillars of bones, but he seems stationary and what is that on his left? Looks like Eren's Attack Titan?
