Goku and Vegeta are training with Whis they are even in power this only pisses Vegeta off

Vegeta says "Kakarot we might be equal in power but just remember I'm the number one saiyan I am the prince of saiyans"

Goku responds "Vegeta you have a wife so I'm pretty sure that makes you a king and I don't care about the title of number one saiyan I just want to get stronger so I can protect my family and my planet"

Vegeta replies "You know what let's have a tournament to see who is the strongest saiyan"

Goku says "we don't have enough saiyans but this is a great idea"

Whis interrupts "I can revive some saiyans remember what I did for Frieza"

Vegeta and Goku agree to host this tournament Goku tells Chi-Chi and his sons about it they will be reviving Goku's parents and brother and Vegeta's father

before Whis Goku and Vegeta go to hell to revive anyone Goku asks Vegeta to not say anything about Chi-Chi Gohan or Goten Vegeta agrees

saiyan resurrection

Goku Vegeta and Whis arrive in hell where they see Goku's father Bardock his mother Gine and his brother Raditz

Goku says "Hey Raditz it's been awhile" Raditz responds "So Kakarot you finally died and ended up in hell I guess we're not so different"

Goku replies "Actually I'm not dead I'm here to revive you mom and dad I want to host a tournament to see who the strongest saiyan is"

Gine asks "Kakarot is that really you"

Bardock answers "It's Kakarot just look at him with that hair and face he's definitely Kakarot he is the spitting image of me after all"

Goku says "yes it's me although I go by Goku now but Vegeta does call me Kakarot"

Raditz asks "Prince Vegeta"

Goku answers "Yes but he's not the same Vegeta you remember I had a chance to kill him the day we met but I didn't and now look at him he has a wife a son and a daughter"

Vegeta says "Yes it's true that I have a family just remember Kakarot I don't owe you for my happiness you are still the enemy to me"

Goku asks "Why do you think of me as your enemy is it because I became a super saiyan first or is it because I didn't kill you"

Vegeta answers "Both"

Bardock says "Super saiyan you know thats just a legend"

Goku responds by powering up his hair stands up and turns golden he is now a super saiyan Vegeta does the same

Goku explains the super saiyan transformation and the levels above it Vegeta goes off to find king Vegeta Goku tells his family about his life leaving out his wife and sons Goku says they will meet all of his friends he just needs one week to gather everyone until then they will stay with Whis

not so friendly introductions

One week has passed Goku got all of his friends to have a gathering on an island owned by Bulma everyone is on the beach Goku introduces his friends to Raditz Bardock and Gine Raditz walks away to grab some food after a few minutes Chi-Chi screams Goku turns around seeing Chi-Chi on the ground with Raditz standing over her Goku charges Raditz punching him repeatedly in the face it's so brutal that Vegeta has to pull Goku off of Raditz Goku finally calms down

Raditz shouts "What was that for she's just an Earth woman so what if I punched her" Goku responds "That Earth woman is my wife and the mother of my two sons if you hurt her again I will kill you I don't care if you are my brother Chi-Chi means more to me than you ever will"

Vegeta asks "Why are you so over protective today Kakarot" Goku answers "After what happened with Goku black I promised myself that I wouldn't let anyone hurt Chi-Chi or my sons again"

Vegeta says "I forgot about him until now for those of you who don't know who Kakarot and I are talking about this will sound strange but not too long ago my son came back from the future because of a threat it turns out that this threat was the Supreme kai in training of the tenth universe inside of Kakarot's stolen body at first we thought it was a copy but that imposter turned super saiyan that was all the proof I needed to know it was real"

Goku responds "He stole my body and used it to kill Chi-Chi and Goten now every time I look in the mirror I remember that interaction my wife and son killed by my own hands at that point in time I hadn't even been with Goten for very long I died before he was born and refused to come back because with me dead the earth would be safer I didn't even know he existed the first time I met Goten he was seven years old about five years later I get told that someone stole my body and used it to kill my wife and son I won't let that happen again I'm just thankful that that happened in a different future timeline"

Gine says "Kakarot you didn't tell me you had a family already"

Goku responds "I'm sorry I wanted it to be a surprise but clearly that was a mistake or mabey reviving Raditz was the mistake the last time he was on earth he tried to kidnap my oldest son Gohan he might be an adult with a daughter now but back then he was four and a half that was the first time I died but I forgive him for that hell if Vegeta can change from a cold hearted killer to a man who gave his life to save my son from the old evil Majin Buu if Vegeta can change anyone can change"

Vegeta replies "I'd do it again because I know you would do the same thing for my family"

Goku responds "I'd die for your family without hesitation"

Vegeta says "I know and you'd probably die with a smile on your face"

Goku laughs and says "Damn right I would"

Goku is finally able introduces everyone to his parents and brother Gine is a little surprised to see that she is a great-grandmother but compliments Videl and Chi-Chi on their beauty

the saiyans have one week to prepare for the tournament everyone is excited

All of the saiyans are training with Whis the newly revived saiyans are attempting to get super saiyan not knowing about super saiyan god super saiyan blue or ultra instinct

Gine grows somewhat close to Chi-Chi one day Gine asks "So Chi-Chi how did you meet Kakarot"

Chi-Chi answers "We were just kids back when I made him promise to marry me he forgot about for years until we fought in the world martial arts tournament not too long after that we got married nine months later Gohan was born Goku always loved rough housing with Gohan but then again he's always had a fighting spirit Gohan is sometimes rough with his daughter Pan but he is Goku's son so it's expected"

Goku smiles happy to see that his mom and Wife are getting along very well

the tournament begins

the tournament is about to begin all of the saiyans are gathered for the event

Goku says "Before the tournament begins we need to go over the rules the rules are if your opponent does not have a transformation that you do you can't use it so if you have super saiyan and your opponent doesn't you can't transform witch means Vegeta and I can't go blue until we fight you win by knock out ring out or if your opponent gives up oh and boys if you wish to bring Gotenks out for the fights you can but that means once you defuse you can't fight anymore anyway this ring that we are going to fight in is the very same ring that I fought in during the Cell games it was destroyed but I had Bulma rebuilt and hey this time the world isn't in danger and Chi-Chi isn't pregnant or at least I think she isn't although I wouldn't be surprised if she is she is too good to me"

Vegeta responds "Those rules are great but you talk way too damn much Kakarot" Goku laughs knowing that Vegeta is right

finally the fights begin with Bardock against king Vegeta Bardock wins

next it's Goten and trunks they seem to be equal in power but Goten wins

next it's Bardock and Goten Bardock tries his best but Goten wins

up next it's Goku against Gohan both are having fun the fight is intense first they start in their base form then push it to super saiyan then super saiyan 2 finally Gohan pushes it even further going into super saiyan 3 Goku does the same Gohan quickly loses his energy causing Goku to win the match

next it's Vegeta and Raditz Vegeta quickly wins

up next it's Gine and Goku Gine is trying and Goku is holding back heavily after a while Goku quickly wins with one hit

next it's Vegeta and Goten Vegeta doesn't waste any time and wins the fight

finally it's Vegeta and Goku Vegeta says "Kakarot let's forget about the rules the last saiyan standing wins" Goku agrees the fight starts both immediately power up into super saiyan blue they are still equalin power Vegeta powers up his hair goes from light blue to dark blue Goku drops into his base form and calms his mind his hair and eyes turn silver Vegeta now realizes that he can't win Goku says "if you're going to use a transformation that I can't I'll do the same one day I hope you can access ultra instinct" Vegeta tries his hardest to win but with ultra instinct Goku dodges every single attack Goku punches Vegeta it looked like one hit but in reality it was over ten thousand hits in under one second Vegeta is now on the ground unconscious

Goku has won and received the title of number one saiyan Vegeta furious Goku is just laughing because if they hadn't thrown the rules away Vegeta would have won and he knows it
