The neon lights shone down on the three of them, seated atop stools and poring over the pile of photographs on the bar. Drinks in hand, the Amazon Trio sorted through each picture, sizing up their prey.
"Ugh," Tiger's Eye scoffed, "yet another *guy.*" He tossed the photo down the bar toward the others.
Hawk's Eye looked similarly disgusted. "If only there were some law against men having beautiful dreams. Looks like this one is yours, Fish's Eye."
Fish's Eye immediately perked up from staring at his slowly emptying martini glass. "Let me see!" He snatched the photograph off the bar and raised it to his light blue eyes, his red nails reflecting the lights.
"Wow!" He exclaimed, "Just my type!" He jumped up, already thinking about his outfit, imagining his transformation.
Tiger's Eye gave him a sidelong look. "I'll never understand what you see in guys, Fish's Eye. We'll keep looking for cute girls with beautiful dreams."
Fish's Eye winked. "All the more for me, then!" He planted a kiss on the photograph and put it back down. He ran off, excited to begin his pursuit.
Hawk's Eye picked the photo up to examine. Through the lipstick left by the kiss, he could see the man; tall and broad, wearing a jacket with a peace symbol and a heart, and topped with an impressive pompadour that had most likely fallen out of fashion a decade earlier. Fish's Eye had seen the arresting blue eyes and kind expression but Hawk's Eye couldn't see past the hair.
"Well," he sighed, tossing the photo back. "I suppose there's no accounting for taste."
