Iruma opened his eyes and welcomed a bright and morning day. He sat up on his bed and scratched his arms and rubbed his eyes to get rid of the sleepiness he still felt. Finally getting the energy to get out of his bed, he stood up and walked towards the big and elegant window of his room. He pushed the royal blue curtains to the side and looked towards the realm he governed. It has been 8 years since he was crowned as the Demon King but he knew that he would never get tired of the sight that greeted him each morning. He was content to keep his people safe and sound and as long as everything was peaceful, he would be ok.

His thoughts were cut off by someone knocking on his door. Most likely his attendants, not that he needed any. "Good morning my king, may I come in?" Iruma smiled gently and replied with a soft voice, "Of course, good morning to you too" The veiled servant went inside and bowed towards him, "My king, your breakfast is waiting for you in the great hall, do you want help in getting yourself ready?" Iruma chuckled as he combed his fingers through his blue hair, "I'm fine, I'll go down when I'm ready." The servant bowed and proceeded to silently go out and shut the door.

'Haah. I hope that I won't have too much work today.' He thought as he removed his clothes and went inside the shower. He turned the shower on and proceeded to lather soap all over his body. 'My back and wrist still hurts from all the papers I had to sign 2 weeks ago.' 2 years after his crowning of Demon king, it was revealed that the king was a human and, you guessed it, they were not happy. Various demons came from all over the netherworld to try to kill him, but they had to go through his thirteen crowns first, consisting of all his classmates from Babyls, the misfits. Only when people started saying that the king was a coward did Iruma finally take action to prove that he was a worthy Demon King and proposed that whoever beat him in a duel can become the new demon king. The first challengers thought that Iruma didn't know how to fight, but they were wrong. After all, there was a reason why, among the 3 candidates for Demon King, he was chosen

The moment he was announced as one of the candidates for Demon king, Ali-san convinced him to practice 'Blood Control'. Ali-san would infuse magic into the blood coming from Iruma's open wound and form them into shapes. At first he couldn't even form a circle but over time, he started getting better and better, until he could finally form a bow using his blood that could pierce even the toughest of metal. After countless of challengers, he was finally accepted as the demon king 5 years into his reign.

Iruma finally finished and stepped out of the shower and proceeded to dress himself in front of the mirror. He was looking at himself and his outfit when Ali-san appeared. "My, Iru-boy, looking sharp! What's the occasion?" He beamed and said, "Do you remember all those requests to allow travelling to the human world? The Thirteen Crowns and I will discuss that today and look through all the papers and discuss whether we would approve or not. We also have a case of old runaway demons that got stuck in the human world when the old king finally banned traveling to the human world. I'll honestly be so excited when it'll be approved. I haven't been there in so long."

Ali-san watched Iruma fondly as he gets himself ready for today with an air of buzzing excitement around him, and he can't help but be affected. He sat on Iruma's head and reassured him, "I honestly don't know why you're worried Iru-boy, what the king wants, the king gets. Your word is absolute, no one can refuse you." Iruma shook his head, "You know I don't do stuff that way Ali-san. Besides we still need to make rules and make sure that the demons that will go to the Human Realm won't eat the first human they see. Haaah." Ali-san just huffed, so Iruma arranged his hair one last time and happily walked towards the Great Hall where his great breakfast was waiting.

Kalego was guiding the rulers of the north, south, west, and east territories of the netherworld towards the meeting room where they and the Thirteen Crowns were to discuss the conditions of travelling to the Human world. He sighed and massaged his temples, his face contorting into an annoyed scowl. He just hoped those brats behaved themselves today. Even now, they were still the same students that he used to hang upside down, still just as noisy and still just as annoying. Graven, the ruler of the west, noticed Kalego's scowl and flinched, everyone knows of the Royal Advisor's flaming temper and strictness. The other lords, who were chatting excitedly at being able to travel to the Human Realm, were completely oblivious.

They finally reached the huge double doors of the meeting room and Kalego nodded towards the guests before opening the door wide- a sword slashed through the air followed by a series of curses and insults. The lords were suddenly scared and thought that their lives were being threatened and turned towards Kalego to complain. Kalego swore that a vein burst when he felt that sword coming towards them at high speed. He let out a low and frustrated growl. He swore that they were going to kill him one day from all the stress. He then fully opens the door and takes a look into the real chaos in the Netherworld.
