It was a beautiful morning in Ant Island; the ants had finally made the circus troupe live here as their new home. The circus troupe moved out of the city of Bugdom because of their aggressive boss P.T. Flea, and they lost their jobs from the circus.

The widow spiders, who used to be Rosie's family, aka Dim's new family-in-law, arrived there for a special visit.

Joanna thanked her family members for taking her there, and they nodded while leaving back to the city of Bugdom. Once the widow spider family left, Joanna noticed the ants and the circus troupe coming out of the anthill.

"Rosie!" Joanna said kindly and she scuttled to where her daughter and the others were.

"Mom?" Rosie asked, but stopped dead as she felt Joanna hug her.

Dim blushed, as if he didn't notice that Joanna was here to check on everyone else.

"Rosie, sweetheart, how are you doing?" Joanna asked.

"I'm doing fine," Rosie said with a nervous chuckle,

"Thanks for asking."

As she hung her head low, not sure if Joanna and her family would have to stay in the city of Bugdom for life, Joanna asked,

"Hey, honey, did you... move here?"

"Yes!" Rosie chimed in a bit sarcastically,

"I'm sorry, I can't go back."

Joanna reacted while seeing Rosie tear up and said in comfort,

"Why? You can always talk to me if you need anything, sweetheart."

"Because... P.T.— smacked Gina hard, and... we lost our jobs from the circus," Rosie responded, holding back a sob,

"And we... we lived in Ant Island... as our new home."

Dim reassured his tamer and nuzzled her with compassion. Their kids go for a hug. Flik, Atta, Dot, Valian, the circus bugs and their other kids felt concerned.

"Hey, Joanna, what's with Rosie?" Flik asked.

"Is she okay?" Atta added.

"Rosie said that she and her friends quit their job," Joanna responded.

"Oh, that P.T. smacked our niece while Rosie and Dim run late," Dot chimed in.

"That was unappreciative," Valian agreed.

"P.T. also was nothing but a bossy, bloodsucking parasite," Francis chimed in.

"He could get reported for the third time for misdemeanor, like two times ago," Slim added.

"Ja! Now we quit," Heimlich said.

"We also packed our stuff and lived in Ant Island now, which is why we moved here," Molt agreed.

Tuck and Roll nodded with less concerned looks on their faces.

As Joanna understood completely, she reassured Rosie and said,

"Sweetheart, I made you something."

"Really?" Rosie asked as she wiped her tears away.

Joanna took a flower for her, which made Rosie feel better with happiness.

"Mommy, I made you a drawing!" Gina squealed.

"With color!" Shadow added in a toddler tone.

"For me?" Rosie said with awe as she took the drawing from her kids, hugging them.

"Happy mother's day!" their children added.

Dim approached to his tamer and nuzzled her in a big hug, chuckling.

"Aw, thank you, guys! You are very sweet," Rosie said in awe.

"It's our pleasure, Rosie, dear," Gypsy replied sweetly with her heart full of passion.

"It's from Flik, Rosie, my dear," Manny added as he held his mate's hand.

"This is for being the best mother to our little niece Gina and nephew Shadow," Flik said kindly.

Atta, Dot and Valian nodded in agreement.

"Oh, and the other's for Gypsy," Joanna chimed in as she gave the next flowers to Gypsy, who felt thrilled with it.

"Wow, bouquets for me? Aw!" Gypsy said in awe.

"Yes, Gypsy, my dear, this is also from our dearest friend Atta," Manny replied as he kissed her on the face.

"That's because you have been very kind to us," Atta replied sweetly.

Gypsy chuckled thankfully.

Ramona and Lukas cheerfully gave their mother a surprise card; Gypsy read it, and felt thrilled again. She shrieked for joy, including Rosie, who got the surprises from their mates and kids.

Joanna smiled at that moment, so did the others.

"Hey, Grandma Joan! I was wondering if I could join you, mommy and auntie Gypsy for a special Mother's day!" Gina chimed in cheerfully.

"And me!" Shadow added in agreement as he jumped up and down for joy.

"So do I!" Ramona, Lukas and the other kids agreed.

The grownups conversed in agreement. Joanna, Rosie and Dim looked at each other, and nodded. Joanna chuckled and said,

"Alright, you kids may join."

Then, the kids cheered for joy, while the adults beamed smiles on their faces.

Much, much later...

Moments went by, it was nighttime. Joanna wonders to spend the night with the circus troupe and the royal ant family, who reluctantly but surely agreed.

As they bid each other goodnight, they all fell asleep in their homes.

Joanna slept in her den given by her friends since she spent the night in Ant Island one time; Flik, Atta, Dot, Valian, Flika, Richie, Adrianna and their pet aphid, Aphie, slept in their room; Manny and Gypsy, including Ramona and Lukas slept into one; Molt, Francis, Heimlich and Slim slept into one; Tuck and Roll slept into one; Dim and Rosie slept into one, while Gina and Shadow did the same.

All of the bugs were peacefully sound asleep in their own dens, in Ant Island, where the circus troupe lived as their new home thanks to the ants.
