...Okay, so this is one of those funny/serious type stories. It literally just popped into my mind at the beginning of this month of May. One week ago. :) I started to tell my sister my ideas and then it just sort of exploded into this.
And if you see any spelling mistakes, (because I don't always see them) if you could point them out to me, and what chapter they're on, I would appreciate it, and I will try my best to fix them. I am also still learning my story writing skills.
If you have an idea that you think would go good with this story I would like to hear your ideas. I may not ad them to this story because it is already written down and done. But I would still like to read other peoples ideas for this. :)
Have fun reading.
Chapter 1. Jack goes in time and experiences 2012...
Jack Frost, a Guardian, goes forward in time to the year 2012. After living 500 years in the past. Suddenly in a new place with things called vehicles, computers, phones, and a whole bunch of other things that he didn't know what they were. He was still wearing his white shirt, brown leather cloak and trousers. Jack gave everyone a strange look, because they looked and dressed weird. The woman were no longer wearing dresses and the men were all skinny and weak looking, not muscular and serious. No one had weapons on their hips or backs and the ground was covered in gray and black rock with lines in the middle. Jack Frost was so confused, he practically screamed when a 'car' passed by him. When people started walking in his direction, he just ran away from them.
He heard strange screaming sounds and lights of red and blue flashing. He ended up flying away to somewhere else in the town. Jack was freaking out. He didn't know where he was or what was going on. "WHERE AM I?!" Jack screamed.
Jack looked up and saw a large sign. It read: (Burgess's cafe!)
"Burgess?" Jack said to himself. He gripped his staff tightly in his hands. He saw a newspaper and it read: (Burgess! Since 1733!) Jack threw the paper away in frustration. "What year am I in?"
Jack looked inside a shop window and saw a calendar; (Open till 7:04 PM )(On the days the shop was open on) Jack read. The date on the calendar was (2012) Jacks eyes widened. "O-oh my gosh, I've come forward in time... to the future?" Jack said shakily in shock. He sat down on the side walk and rubbed his head. 'What happened?' Jack wondered. His heart was pounding, and his head hurt. "What am I going to do?"
( )
A few days later, he found the North Pole. It looked all old and had cracks lining the walls. It was dull and dim. Almost to the point of ruins.
When he went inside, he finds what looks to be North sitting in a rocking chair and looking at a fire. His red coat wrapped around him.
"N-North! North! you have to tell me what's going on! Things are different and-!" Jack said, but stopped. The person that looked to be North turned around to face Jack, curious to see who was talking to him. But sure enough it was North. But what scared Jack the most, was that North was an old man. His hair was gray and was barely able to stay on his head. And he had very wrinkled skin and was wearing glasses. (And skinny...sort of)
"Who are you boy?" Old North asked. Before his eyes widened in recognition.
Jack screamed and North screamed with Jack. Before they gathered themselves.
North: "JACK?!"
Jack: "NORTH?!"
North: "YOU'RE BACK!"
Jack: "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
(PAUSE)
"What happened to you North? You're all old." Jack said.
"Well that's what happens in life." North said with a smile. "You're finally back lad." He laughed. His voice was all raspy and higher pitched.
"But we're immortal, we don't grow old." Jack said.
"You can with the loss of believers." North said.
Jack: "What about the other Guardians?"
North: "Oh, they're old too."
Jack: "Oh no... Where is Tooth?"
North: "She's been making me cookies; she's been doing that for the last two hundred years. Seeing as there wasn't anymore teeth to take care of, she'd have no cavities to worry about."
Jack was almost speechless. "What about Bunny? Where is he?"
North: "Oh him? Why, he's doing a whole lot better then we are. He's dead."
Jacks jaw dropped. "WHAT?! W-what happened?!"
North: "Got struck by lighting ...in the sleigh. You see we were on one of those rescue missions, but we took the wrong turn... and there he went. His bones are still down there in the sleigh if you want to drop by and say hi. We would always play the quiet game after that whenever delivering present to what small amount of believers we had left. He'd always win... That's when the stores started coming out with plastic eggs for Easter."
Jack was struck into silence. "What about Sandy?"
North: "Oh he's dead too."
Jack: "!"
North: "He just sort of disappeared awhile ago. So we just assumed he was dead too."
Jack was speechless.
North: "Yep. After that battle with Pitch black, we kinda lost believers. And this happened."
Jack: "Well, what about the yeti's and elves?"
North: "Well, since there was no more believers anymore to give presents too. The yeti's and elves just sort of moved on. But the yeti's that died I'm using them as rugs, I had to do something with 'em." (A/N. Russians are weird this way...)
Jack: 'He's lost his mind..' Jack thought. He felt like he wanted to burst out crying. Is he truly in the future? Is this what happens to the Guardians?
Jack: "What about me? What happens to me?"
North: "You? I don't think you ever came back, until now. We were looking for you for years, but we were never successful in finding you. So we just sort of...gave up..."
Jack: 'So, I'm stuck here for the rest of my life?'
In the middle of Jacks thought process, someone came in the room with a warm plate of cookies. Jack assumed she was Tooth, because she had old gray feathers that were falling out, and she had wrinkled skin like North. She was not flying or cheerful like the Tooth Jack was used to seeing.
Once she noticed Jack, she gasped and put the plate of cookies down.
Tooth: "Jack? Is that you?" She asked with a raspy voice, squinting to see him better.
Jack smiled. "Yes." He said slowly, feeling apprehensive.
Tooth: "Oh come give me a hug sweet tooth."
Jack went over and they embraced each other. Tooth laughed with joy and relief.
Tooth: "I thought you were dead like everyone else."
Jack: "I'm not Tooth, I'm right here." He said in a comforting tone.
When they let go, Tooth gasped.
Tooth: "Let me see your teeth, I want to see."
Jack: "NO no, I'd rather you not do that." Jack said once he saw her hands, they were all wrinkly and had a weird smell to them...
But Jack smiled for her instead, showing her his teeth. But that was when he regretted it, once she started to squeal with excitement.
Tooth reached into her back pocket of her dress and pulled out a pair of pliers. "Oh, I almost forgot about these. Here, open up sonny, really wide so I can get a good grip."
Jack sprang back in horror.
Tooth: "Mine fell out years ago, I need a replacement."
Jack: "NO! You can't just take my teeth Tooth!"
Tooth: "No worry's, I'll share them with your friends."
Jack: "STOP!" Jack shrieked, and flew out the window.
To be continued...
