The Emperor Cometh

Mashu woke up one day with a strange feeling on her hand. She thought it was just her senpai, Ritsuka Fujimaru, waking her up again, or possibly Fou. She sat up and slowly scanned her room for Ritsuka, or Fou. She looked at the clock next to her and saw that it was just past 2 AM. With a sigh, she went back to lie down and tried to sleep again.

She was woken up by the alarm. Her body was on autopilot and she proceed to wash her face for the morning. After freshening up she changed her clothes and wore her glasses. Once more, she looked at the mirror to see if she's good for the day, and noticed something on her hand. A red tattoo in the shape of a shield cut into three parts.

"Eh!?"

She slowly stepped back, and blinked, thinking that she's seeing things. Slowly, she opened her eyes while her hand is before her face. There was no mistake now, a set of command seals are on her hand. She quickly left her room, and passed by a few Servants, the Knights of Round, on the hallway.

"She's in a hurry." Tristan noted.

"Something must have happened for her to run past us." Lancelot said.

"She's headed to Da Vinci's room." Gawain added.

Mashu arrived before Da Vinci's room and knocked. The door opened revealing Da Vinci as the person who opened it.

"Da Vinci-san," Mashu said. "I need help."

She was let inside and Da Vinci had her take a seat. Mashu scanned the room, it was filled with many drawings and prototypes of Da Vinci's works. She saw a drawing of the vehicle they rode during the Camelot Singularity.

"What seems to be the problem Mashu-chan?" Da Vinci asked. "Did Master do anything bad?"

Mashu shook her head and instead shown the Caster the back of her hand. Da Vinci immediately noticed the Command Seal and brought out a strange looking device from her desk.

"Mashu-chan," Da Vinci said. "Can you explain how you acquired them?"

Mashu then told her of how she woke up at around 2 AM after feeling a strange sensation from her hand. She left out the part where she went back to sleep.

"I see," Da Vinci noted, before placing the device between the two of them. "You came here to make sure that those are command seals, and not just a prank. I'd assume that you thought it was the work of Merlin?"

Mashu nodded.

"Place your hand on this," Da Vinci said. "If by chance that those are real, they would glow. If not, I would look at what it is and find a way to remove them."

Mashu placed her hand on the device and her eyes widened when the seals glowed.

"I'll call Ritsuka-san to help you."

After confirming the Command Seals, Ritsuka was quite happy that Mashu would be able to summon servants of her own. They prepared a number of Saint's Quarts for her to try on. Ritsuka offered some of the Quarts he saved, he wanted Mashu to have better luck on her first summoning.

"Okay Mashu," Ritsuka explained. "Summoning can be done in Single Summon, or Ten Times Summons. Some Ten Summons have a guarantee by the tenth draw. But sometimes you could be lucky and get a servant on the first draw."

Observing the two were some of the multiple Servants summoned in Chaldea:

The Knights of Round were present, Lancelot and some of the Arthuria's were curious on who would answer Mashu's call.

EMIYA along with Scatach and Lancer Cu.

Iskandar and Zhuge Liang.

Astolfo and Bradamante.

Jeanne and Martha.

Mashu was nervous as there were many eyes observing her first summoning. Ritsuka assured her that it was fine and no need to be afraid of the outcome.

"I hope I don't disappoint." Mashu said worriedly.

"You'll be fine Mashu," Ritsuka assured. "Remove the negativity from your thoughts, and hope for the best."

Mashu walked up towards the Summoning Altar and placed the Quarts on it. The altar glowed bright and one by one the outcome of the summoning were revealed.

First came the craft essences, Mapo Tofu and Black Keys.

Then the last card came. The golden outline of a person holding a sword was shown before flying towards Chaldea's Last Master.

The room was engulfed in bright lights as the Servant manifested. When the light show died there stood a young man with black and white hair and blue eyes. His attire consists mainly of a black and white tunic with blue accents, black pants, thigh-high armored boots, and a short white cape with a black edge. On his left arm was a gauntlet, a sword scabbard hangs at his left side, and red marks coat his right gloved arm.

The onlookers were surprised by the appearance of the new Servant. Astolfo and Bradamante were greeted with a familiar sight. While Mashu was surprised on how the ritual resulted.

"Senpai?" Mashu asked confused.

The person in question was confused. He looked at his clothes, from the white mythic code that Chaldea provided, was changed into a black and white tunic. The strange part was there was a red mark on his right gloved arm where his command seals should be.

"Mashu," Ritsuka said. "I don't think this is how summoning a servant should be."

Da Vinci looked at the screens to see who the servant was supposed to be.

"Oh, quite a turn of events." Da Vinci stated.
