Voldemort did not kill the Potters. He also took Harry. He took all the children born in July, just in case. After all it would be foolish to spill powerful wizard blood when he can mold it to his use. Although all but Harry died along the way do to brutal training and conditions. Everyone thought all the children were dead. But Harry was raised tough by death eaters and violence. When he is 14 James finds him and get him back. How will they deal with a traumatized child, who is dangerous and who does not know what it means to be a part of a family. Also Voldemort wants his weapon back. I would prefer this story to include badass Harry along with Remus and Sirius.
