Summary

Even after the Full Moon Jam, Jade's still a jealous person. She's grown, sure, but not had a personality transplant. How she deals with the jealousy though? Well, this method is a lot more fun.

After Beck and Jade get back together in Tori Fixes Beck & Jade, Jade decides to mark her territory in a new and fun way. And Beck certainly isn't complaining.

Authors Note

I know I normally don't post more than one multi-chapter story up at a time, but I figure 'if you only knew the bad things I like' isn't everyones cup of tea, so I thought I'd pop this up too.

I pretty much just thought that Jade seemed a lot calmer when her and Beck got back together, jealousy wise; of course, that could be because the show was cancelled not long after that episode, but Beck also seems to have toned down the flirting too. So I figure they probably chatted about their issues after their public make up, and Jade came up with a new (and less violent) way to chase girls off. I may do another one set after the make up at some point with a more sad and angsty tone about why Jade stopped being quite so jealous, but I thought this one was probably more unique and fun!

The title is from 'Jealous' by Nick Jonas (I think? One of the Jonas brothers. Or maybe all of them? Oh I don't know). For once, my chapter titles won't be lyrics from the song! Weird!

Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Introduction

Everyone assumed that, after the Full Moon Jam, when they'd been escorted off the stage by teachers after they couldn't make it to even the chorus of their song before making out again, they'd ran back to the RV and fucked like bunnies.

Which was totally not true. (They'd actually only managed to make it to Beck's car in the far corner of the school parking lot before he was tugging off her corseted top and she was unbuckling his belt, their fingers eager and greedy.)

But they didn't go back to the RV. They'd originally went to her place just to grab a bag of stuff for her to bring over to his, but instead they ended up laying together on her bed, wrapped up in each other as they stared at the Glow-In-The-Dark stars on the ceiling (he had them above his bed in the RV too, relics from when they were all innocent and first started dating – Beck had put them up in both places so they could 'still be looking at the stars together even when apart' or some sweet junk like that, before she practically lived at his RV). And they talked.

And it was actually pretty nice.

She promised she'd try to work on her jealousy – she would try not to scream or shout at him or throw things or get into physical altercations with girls who hit on him. And he promised to actually tell girls he wasn't interested and that he had a girlfriend (he also promised not to air any of their dirty laundry in public again. If he had an issue or was unhappy, he better damn well tell her when they were alone, not on a fucking TV show or in front of their friends. Ass) and to actually stick up for her if someone blatantly insulted her in front of him (she only half believed that Beck didn't know what 'Gank' actually meant. 'Context idiot, listen to the damn context. You were openly agreeing that your girlfriend was a bitch and a skank.').

They'd spent the night at her house (as her dad and stepmom were off for a long weekend at some vineyard in France) relearning each other's bodies, mapping out old scars and freckles with their tongues, fingertips gliding over bare skin. And then, the next day, they'd sent out a mass text from Beck's phone to their friends, telling them not to contact them unless it was a genuine emergency – because Beck had never met a more co-dependent group of people in his life. He'd like to say him and Jade weren't included in that, but they were; they just weren't as co-dependent on the group as a whole, but more just each other, which was why the last few months were especially hard.

They spent the Saturday lazing about her house, ordering take out and taking advantage of the lack of anyone else being around to skinny dip in the pool and jacuzzi, and fuck in one of the ridiculously comfy cinema-style chairs in the movie room (Jade's dad was loaded, which is why they lived in one of the pretentious Beverly Hills mansions. It was sprawling and boasted a swimming pool, jacuzzi, home gym, sauna, cinema room and bar, and a music room, along with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and sitting rooms.) and stand in front of the open freezer eating Jade's weird dairy free coconut coffee ice-cream straight from the carton with spoons.

On Sunday morning, they headed back to the RV so Beck could tell his parents that he was back with Jade (they were pretty bad at hiding their disappointment that he was going on a date with another girl to the Full Moon Jam, although they did try. They'd been wanting him to get back together with Jade from the day it happened), which had caused an impromptu family BBQ for lunch as a celebration, with his parents hogging all of Jade's time to go over every tiny thing that had happened in her life in the past 9 months, along with updating her with their own (his mom had finally got the promotion she'd been deserving for the last 3 years and his dad had got a huge new contract for his company which was still being talked about and praised 2 months later).

They fell asleep early, emotionally and physically exhausted (they needed to work up their stamina to its previous level it seemed, as after 9 months they seemed to be flagging earlier than before). And in the morning, came the first test for Jade.
