The Dek Knight

Chapter 1

So, I'm already doing a fic on Deku in the mask Marvel's flagship hero. So, why not DC's as well. Timeline wise this is right when Stain shows up and in this timeline All Might still has One For All. So, his limit's not down just yet. Not much else to say here so... Let's kick it up.

Within a clocktower that stood among the skyscrapers a plus sized woman waited within an elevator before reaching the loft housed behind the clocks where a young man with black and green hair sat alone at the coffee table looking over some files over several people who's age matched his own.

"So, how are the lists coming?" The woman asked.

"I'm having trouble pinning down where this one should be." The young man said as he zoomed in on a picture of a young man with ted and white hair and a terrible burn scar on his left eye. "Endeavor's done his work to hide the history there. Probably because it would make him look even worse than he already does." He said.

"Those eyes. Whatever he did must be terrible." The woman said with sympathy in her voice. "Anyway, I thought you'd want to see this." She said as she handed the young man a news paper, his eyes widening as he red the headline.

"Activate passcode black wing." The young man said before a small section of the loft's back wall slid up and the two stepped inside before the elevator behind the wall which then rapidly took them down to a large command center a good distance beneath the base of the tower. The young man then walked over to an incredibly large computer and brought up some blurry images of a man in a red scarf.

"I've been hearing rumors about this one since before you got home. The Hero Killer. Never takes any money and never goes after any civilians who see him." The woman explained.

"That means we're dealing with a man on a mission." The young man said as he brought up files on all known and suspected victims of the Hero Killer. "Looks like he goes after heroes in highly corporate agencies or ones that have been shown to be glory hounds. Looks like we're dealing with someone who's seen the problems in the system and decided on an extreme way of dealing with it." The young man said before he stood up, shedding his clothes to reveal a black jump suit.

"Izuku, be careful. This one's killed some very skilled heroes. Don't underestimate him." The woman warned as the young man walked up to a case and opened it to put on a pair of clawed navy gauntlets with folding spikes on the side, a pair of navy boots, a dark yellow belt with a black oval buckle with a gold Bat in the center, a navy cape with a cyan honeycomb pattern on the inside, a pair of spiked shoulder pads, and a chest plate with a black Bat with golden edges.

"Don't worry, Mom. I don't make it a habit of underestimating anyone." Izuku replied as he put on navy mask with white eyes and pointed ears that then shrunk over his face before walking to and jumping inside a black and silver car with blue tinted windows and a jet booster on the back began to drive through a series of tunnels beneath the city and coming out in a secret opening in an alleyway. "Belfry, I'm going to need you to send a list of all the attack locations and run it through the Batcomputer to establish a pattern of movement." He said.

"I already have the algorithm running. It should be done by the time you're done gathering intel from the crime scene." His mother said from the other end.

"Understood. I've just arrived at the scene. I'll contact you when I'm done investigating it. Batman out." He said before getting out of the car and beginning to look an alley. He pressed to the right ear of his cowl, causing the eyes to glow different colors until arriving at dark blue. 'Blood spatter. The largest amount here. Which means the Hero Killer was over here.' He thought before kneeling down where it was. 'Something else here. Saliva?' He asked himself before placing his fingers to the residue.

Finishing the scans of the scene, Batman stood up and made his way back to the car before getting back in and driving away.

A short time later, while on the road, Batman received a call from his mother.

"What have you got?" Batman asked.

"Well, bad news, the saliva sample wasn't able to give us the Hero Killer's DNA. Good news we were able to find out who he attacked." His mother, Inko said before explaining the victim was one Tensei Iida AKA Inginium. He survived the attack. But with the injuries he sustained... his career is over." She said with pity in her voice.

"It's a shame. Even being a corporate Hero, he seemed to really care." Batman said, dropping the stoic persona he would use when under the cowl. "What about the pattern?

"The computer just finished running it. It should be showing up on the Batmobile's monitor." Inko said before Batman looked down to see the area where the Hero Killer operated.

"Looks like one of our R&D labs is there." Batman said before an idea came to him and he began to run a list of all Heroes currently in that area. "Perfect." He noted.

"What do you have?" Inko asked on her end.

"If Batman is going to hunt this guy down, then Izuku Midoriya is going to need to lay down some bait. I'll explain the plan in full when I get back to the Belfry." Batman said before cutting the communications and beginning his drive back to base.

(The next day.)

Two young men, one with white and red hair with a burn scar over his left eye and the other with blonde hair clad in a green and orange uniform with an orange X on the torso walked behind a man wearing an outfit consisting a jean jacket, jean shirt, and jeans sh well as a mask made to look like a pair of jean shorts.

"So, why are we here, Best Jeanist? The boy in white asked as they continued walking.

"Well Shoto, one important part of being a pro hero is working security job that and as luck would have it my agency was recently hired for one such job by the owner of Green Sky Industries." Best Jeanist explained before the three of them walked in to a large office where the blonde boy was surprised upon seeing Izuku sitting behind a desk wearing a suit.

"Deku? What the hell are you doing here, you damn nerd?" The blonde boy asked in shock.

"Good to see you too, Katsuki." Izuku repled in a sarcastic tone.

"You know this guy, Bakugo?" Shoto asked.

"We go way back." Izuku said before he stood from his desk. "We went to school together for years. Both of us really wanted to be heroes. Only difference, I'm quirkless. So, after some soul searching and world traveling I decided if I couldn't be a hero, I'd help the world in another way." He said.

"Wait. Hold on. Are you telling me that Green Sky is your company?" Katsuki asked, his eyes ready to pop out of his head from astonishment.

"You'd be surprised what you gan do with some good ideas and smart investments." Izuku said with a shrug. 'Also a few six century old coins. Thank you Talia.' He thought. "Anyway. Down to business." He said before sitting back down at his desk and placing down a file. He then went on to explain that his company was developing a new type of conductor that could absorb great deals energy to minimize risks of any villains with electricity quirks. Their job was to see the prototype safely to another one of his facilities for testing.

'Damn Deku. Thinks just because he's got money, he can have me do his grunt work!' Katsuki growled in his mind.

"Just tell us when it's moving and we'll be there to protect it." Beast Jeanist assured Izuku.

"Good. It's moving out at nine fifteen tonight. Here are the details of the movement." Izuku said before handing a piece of paper to Best Jeanist. He then shook his hand and then Shoto's, Katsuki of coarse refusing to shake his hand as the three left.

(At the Belfry)

"Are you sure that the Hero Killer will take the bait." Inko asked as Izuku sat at the Bat computer in his suit with his mask off.

"One of the top five Heroes and a rookie that stands completely at odds with everything he believes in and in a very loud way? He won't be able to resist." Izuku said as he looked over the scans he had of the crime scene, looking to find something that would aid him in developing a combat plan. Just then, a signal went off, indicating that it was time to move out. "Time to go to work." He said while grabbing his mask and walking to the Batmobile.

"I'm putting an end to the Hero Killer tonight." Batman said before he entered the car and drove off, receiving a wish of good luck from Inko as he left.

(Elseware)

In a dimly lit bar, a man with red eyes and silver hair with hand over his face was sitting across from a man with yellow eyes and a dark mist for a head.

"The time has come. Ready the Nomus for an attack on the city. Between this and our deal with the Hero Killer, our message will bee heard." The voice heard, gaining a grin from the silver haired man.

(In the city)

The rain bean to fall heavily on the skyline as on two rooftops stood Batman and man in a red scarf carrying numerous blades, both ready to do their work as light struck behind them.
