The scene starts off with the Sahara desert plains which were vest plains of sand that were further than the eye can see. It was noon and out of nowhere came an egg shape based flying mobile flown by an egg shaped overlander carrying a very large cage big enough to fit elephants and rhinos, followed by a blue streak zooming across the desert plains. The overlander had his flying mobile going on top speed at full, but despite it, the blue streak is still firmly catching up to the overlander in his flying mobile.
He tried steering the machine over the very large slopes of desert sand that were constantly changing from being blown on by the winds, but the blue streak had went up the largest slope of sand in the process of chasing the overlander, sped up in the air and after getting off the slope of sand slowed down while going up in the sky behind the egg shaped flying mobile revealing it to be a teenage male blue mobian hedgehog with three large spikes on his scope, two slightly smaller spikes on his back, peach arms and torso, emerald green eyes, white Cotten fabric gloves, white socks, a wrist communicator striped to his right wrist and super durable sneakers with a white stripe and a gold shoe buckle on each shoe.
He span into a ball and smashed into the overlander's flying mobile, attacking him by surprise, making the flying mobile he's on spin round once as it goes flimsy, making the very large cage sway as the male teenage blue mobian hedgehog landed gracefully on the desert sands leveled down on the ground in fount of the large slope he'd just sped off from, clipped his white-gloved hands into fists, put them on his hips, tilted his face up and averted his eyes at the overlander in his egg shaped flying mobile.
"Give up Eggman, you're not turning those innocent wild animals into your metallic slaves." The teen male mobian hedgehog demanded to the overlander.
"NOT IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY OR DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SONIC!" Eggman yelled back at the male mobian teenage blue hedgehog we now know is Sonic.
Eggman hits some controls on the dash broad of his egg shaped flying machine, two slots shaped like circles at the fount of the machine opened and a pair of built in black fire cannons came out. Sonic widened his opened eyes in reaction to witnessing the cannons and super sped out of the way of the built in weapons just before they started firing.
"HO, HO, HO!" Eggman laughed evilly believing to have gotten Sonic as he put his egg shaped flying mobile as fast as Sonic is running and started chasing him.
Sonic ran in super speed with Eggman in hot pursuit has he went on shooting fire balls at Sonic reaching up to the edge of the desert. Sonic rapidly moved his right arm in fount of his view, hit the activate control with an index finger of his left white gloved hand and a face of a yellow very young fox kitsune appeared on the screen.
"I'm bringing him in Tails. Get ready." Sonic informed the very young fox who responded with a nod.
Sonic then switched off his communicator with with an index finger of his left white-gloved hand and swing his arms back to his side with his white- gloved hands clipped into fists as before. Sonic sped across the age of the desert into a savanna and as if on cue a yellow sphere sprang out from out of some bushes nearby as Eggman was passing and the yellow sphere hit the side of his egg shaped flying mobile which made Eggman stop shooting at Sonic and in mid air, the yellow sphere uncurled itself, revealing to be Tails who turn out to have more then one tail that allow him to fly when he propels them, yellow fur all over his body expect for his muzzle and the fount of his torso which were white, white cotton gloves and socks same as Sonic and sneakers with red on the rear half and white on the fount half with the red overcoming the white in a five degree angle.
From hearing the shooting stop from Tail's assault, Sonic skids to a stop by pressing his heels firmly on the ground, turning a 180 degree left while bending his knees and putting out his right hand on the ground to keep falling from a law of psychic, then tilted up his face and saw a shiny metal claw carrying the cage. Sonic smirked cheekily at the claw. He let his head return it's normal fountain position, jumped and spins into the air and spin dashed into the Metallic claw with such great brute force, causing major cracks on the metallic claw to the point where it crumbles into clumps of metal, making the very large cage drop down to the ground.
Sonic with a smirk on his face and his white- gloved hands placed on his hips watched the very large cage wham on the surface and it fell into pieces. He chuckled at the sight of the ruined cage as Tails propelled down next to Sonic on his right and stopped spinning his tails, revealing them to be two twin tails. Both of them tilted their faces upwards and averted their eyes on an frustrated Eggman starring down directly at the two heroes.
"CURSE YOU!" Eggman yelled out at Sonic and Tails as he shook his right fist at them.
"I just polished that egg mobile and it's claw." Eggman whined to the two heroes as he unclipped his right hand and placed it back on the steering.
"Well you should've thought of that before attempting to capture and use wildlife for your stupid schemes egghead." Sonic remarked to Eggman out of response.
Eggman steered his damaged egg mobile a 180 degree left and flew back into the desert plains, leaving Sonic and Tails alone. Sonic turned his head right to Tails as he turned his head left to Sonic. They grinned at each other and fist bumped each other. Just then, a hornbill came out from behind the bushes followed by a fully grown adult male lion with a thick heavy mane and red bushy tipped tail from behind the two.
"Well we have to admit sire, what we just witness those two strange animals in some human clothing did to that human was rather impressive." The hornbill said to the adult male lion.
"What even lions and elephants can't I might add." The lion said in agreement.
"Thanks." Sonic responded as he turned his head a 180 degree angle to look back at the owners of the voices, only to find a fully grown male lion with a thick red mane and bushy red tipped tail and a male hornbill with him.
Sonic's mood suddenly changed from victorious to shocked and he shrieked in reaction to seeing a male lion in fount of him as he turned his whole self a 180 degree right.
"Sonic wha... WHOA! A LION!" Tails was asking Sonic as he adjusted his eyes left to see what Sonic was shrieking at, only to find the same lion and hornbill in fount of him and Sonic, yelling in reaction to just the lion since they're carnivores.
"Hmm, I should've just stayed hidden." The adult male lion uttered to himself
"SO WHAT, SO YOU CAN ATTACK US AND KILL US FOR YOUR NEXT MEAL WHILE WE'RE UNAWARE, AND SINCE WHEN LIONS ARE FRIENDS WITH HORNBILLS, HUH?" Sonic yelled out to the male lion, hornbill and especially Tails all looked at Sonic odd struck.
"No, we were watching in awe on how you both prevented that human from whatever it is he's up to, which the way I see it isn't any good." The adult male lion answered Sonic in response.
"Of course sire, nothing good ever comes out from humans." The hornbill commented."
"Indeed." The lion responded to the hornbill in agreement.
"And anyway, how can you understand us?" The male lion asked Sonic.
"I...I d-don't know." Sonic stuttered.
Sonic turned his head a 45 degree angle left at Tails and averted his eyes toward him.
"Tails, you heard what that lion and hornbill were saying." Sonic asked Tails.
"No Sonic, all I heard was growling from you and that lion and squawking from the hornbill. But I reckon that whole year in space might've been making you hear things that ain't exactly so." Tails stated to Sonic while still starring at the animals in fear of the lion.
"I'm not playing bud, I can actually understand them." Sonic argued at Tails.
"And what made you reckon I was specking lion anyway." Sonic asked Tails.
Tails suddenly widened his open eyes as he lifted up an index finger of his left white-gloved hand.
"Wait, hang on." Tails said before turning an 180 degree left rushing over to the bush he spun out from earlier. He turned a 45 degree left, crouched down reached into the bush with his right white-gloved hand, pulled out a small sack, got up and turned a 45 degree left. As Tails trotted over back beside Sonic on his left, he opened the sack, grabbed out a ear piece designed to help understand what non mobian lifeforms were really saying with his left white-gloved hand and placed the piece in his left ear.
Then once making sure the ear piece is placed on the left ear properly, he puts his focus back on the African wildlife as he let his left arm drop to his left side.
"Um young strange animal, what was that by any chance you just placed on your left ear?" The male hornbill asked Tails.
"Alright first of all, I'm not a strange animal, I'm a mobian and so is my friend next to me. And second, the thing I placed on my left ear is a animal translator which allows anyone that has at least one for an ear to not only understand animals, but also communicate with them in their own languages." Tails informed the male hornbill.
"That sounds rather brilliant." The adult male lion complimented Tails.
"Thanks." Tails responded to the lion with a smile.
The adult males lion and hornbill and even the young male mobian kitsune Tails put their focus directly at Sonic. The lion and hornbill gave Sonic confused glares while Tails gave him a serious one.
"And how is it your friend doesn't need one?" The adult male lion asked Tails of Sonic.
"Yeah Sonic, something you haven't told me and the other freedom fighters yet?" Tails questioned Sonic in a serious tone.
Sonic moved his head left and right, awkwardly sighting Tails, the adult male lion and adult male hornbill rapidly a few times.
"Well, on with it." The adult male lion demanded Sonic growing impatient with him, raising his voice to the point of growling as he took a step forward toward Sonic.
"Whoa okay, chill." Sonic responded to the lion as took a step back with his white-gloved hands opened and raised up, not wanting to get eaten.
"I'll make this short, an alien fleet from outta space called the Xodras came to Mobius to destroy it with a alien made black hole. I had to use my super speed to destroy the device they placed on the planet before it made that black hole which it was designed to do and it got me missing in space for like a full year. And while I was in space, some alien race whom call themselves D'novulans gave me a device that allows me to communicate with anyone in their own different languages that can connect to my brain by just simply sticking through my ear." Sonic explained to Tails, the lion and the hornbill.
The two wild animals however shook their heads in disbelieve of what they just heard from Sonic and turned their focus at Tails, moving their heads lightly and averting their eyes to him. Tails turned his head back to it's normal fontal position and focus his eyes on the lion and hornbill
"Is your friend making this up?" The adult male hornbill asked Tails.
"No he wasn't. We did had an alien encounter with the alien fleet. But we had encountered aliens from outa space before." Tails answered the hornbill.
"You mean there's life amongst the stars?" The adult male lion asked Tails.
"Yes." Sonic and Tails answered the lion in union.
The adult male lion and hornbill both tilted their faces up and moved their eyes up at the sky to look up at it.
"That might've explained why the moon looked like a piece of it was broken off." The lion stated in awkward wonder.
The hornbill nodded in understatement before the wildlife let their heads and eyes return to their normal frontal positions and averted their sight back on the Mobains.
"As far out as it sounds, you two seem to be telling the truth. No living thing can go that high in the night sky and break off a piece of the moon." The adult male lion stated to Sonic and Tails.
Sonic and Tails breathed a sigh of relief of the lion and hornbill believing them. The two Mobains never thought they'd see the day they're glad the moon was missing a piece of it the day Sonic saved all of Mobius.
"Yeah, that's true." Sonic remarked to the lion with a smirk.
"However, I'm still not convinced on how the one in blue could understand us. It doesn't matter though, as long as he can." The male lion added.
"Anyhow please, allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Mufusa, I'm ruler of the Pride lands that's just starts at the hills behind us, this is my Majormojo Zazu." The male lion introduced himself and the adult male hornbill, pointing to him with his right forepaw.
"Greetings." The hornbill greeted Sonic and Tails.
"I'm Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog. Course, you may already know that since my best bud already said it in front of you both." Sonic stated to Mufasa and Zazu in introduction.
"And specking of which, I'm his best friend, Tails Prower." Tails introduced to the lion and hornbill.
"So Mufasa, if that's your tuff starting at those hills, what're you and Zazu doing out here?" Sonic asked Mufasa as he pointed at the hills.
"Have to patrol the lands to make sure trespassers don't invade the lands. Only herbivores can come and go as they please. Carnivores and Omnivores can't have access to the Pride lands without a reason." Mufasa explained to Sonic and Tails.
"Oh I get it, cause herbivores only eat plants, carnivores usually eat Just meat and omnivores eat both. And if both of them outnumber the herbivores or the number of carnivores and omnivores at least gets to the point for overhunting to occur, it would bring an ecosystem off balance." Tails stated in the obvious.
Mufasa and Zazu nodded to Tails in agreement, knowing that what he's saying is the exact. Suddenly, Mufasa noticed some sort of black figure coming from the far distance on his right. He turned a 45 degree turn left and started running as Zazu started flapping his wings and flew beside him.
"Sonic, Tails, run." Mufasa ordered Sonic and Tails.
"Why?" Sonic asked Mufasa.
"JUST DO IT!" Mufasa shouted out at Sonic and Tails.
Knowing not to argue with a lion, Sonic ran at normal speed which is only nessursary to him since he wanted to know what Mufasa is on about. Mufasa ran to a bush that was two thirds of the one he and Zazu popped out from before, passed it turned a 180 degree angle right, skidded his paws to a halt and averted his eyes toward Sonic.
"You and Tails, behind that bush. Zazu go with them." Mufasa ordered the three.
Sonic nodded a yes to Mufasa and sped behind the bush with his super speed with Tails and Zazu both following on suit. As they were landing next to Sonic, the three spotted an eagle coming toward Tails and he started screaming in utter panic. Luckily, Mufasa quickly ran toward the eagle, leaped at it, and swung a claw right at it, making the eagle stop in it's tracks.
The eagle turned it's focus on Mufasa and tried to claw him with it's feet while trying to peck at him with it's sharp beck, but Mufasa counted the bird's attack's with his own claws by swinging his paws at the eagle with the claws extracted out from them, batting at the eagle's wings as he constantly growled and roared at the eagle, which lasted for twelve seconds before Mufasa swung his left paw at it with his claws out directly at the eagle's right side and the right wing, bring careful not to hit too hard as not to even harm the bird, but enough brute force to make the eagle move back roughly.
Finally had it, the eagle turned an 180 degree left in the opposite direction and flew away in defeat and hunger. From witnessing the event, Sonic, Tails and Zazu rejoice fully came out from behind the bush as Mufasa retracted his claws back in his paws and turned his body half way an 180 degree left and focused his sight on the two male Mobains and the hornbill.
"That is spindled sire." Zazu praised Mufasa.
"Way past cool." Sonic stated in rejoicing.
"How'd you know that eagle's coming for us?" Tails asked Mufasa.
"By it's shadow. I spotted it's shadow figure on the ground in the horizon." Mufasa explained to the three males with a proud smile.
"Thanks, Tails and I will know to make sure to watch out for shadows in the wilderness from now on." Sonic thanked Mufasa with a trademark thumbs up with his right white-gloved hand.
Suddenly, Sonic spotted a trio of hyenas coming from behind Mufasa. He went in his super speed, jumped of the ground in less than even a microsecond, spun into a ball and whacked the three hyenas on their backs, making them collapse flat on their stomaches as Mufasa, Zazu and Tails watched in shock. Angry at the hyenas for attempting to assault them, Mufasa instantly joined the fight and smacked the nearest hyena with his right paw, making it get back up on it's feet while Sonic used his super speed to grab the other two by their tails, sped them over to the one Mufasa smacked and threw the two between it.
Then Sonic created a tornado attack on the three hyenas. The hedgehog made tornado lifted the hyenas upwards in the statmosphere as the good guys witnessed the event of the tornado attack with Mufasa moving next to Sonic on his right and stopping there. The tornado attack momentarily faded off and the three hyenas fell down to the ground wailing. The first one fell on his stomach, the second on his rear and hind legs and the third and final one on top on the first one on it's back.
The three hyenas momentarily overcome their dizziness and readjusted their eye sights only to notice Sonic and Mufasa both approaching them with angry expressions on their faces. Sonic and Mufasa halted in fount of the three hyenas and sonic crossed his arms as he and Mufasa both glared at them.
"Had enough?" Sonic asked the three hyenas.
All three of the hyenas rapidly nodded yes to Sonic and Mufasa.
"Good. Now get outta here before we finish you three off immediately." Mufasa ordered the three hyenas threatening with a light growl.
Not wanting to push their luck any further, the three hyenas obliged and scampered back into the distance they came from as fast as their legs could move them. Sonic and Mufasa adjusted their heads and eyes left to watch the the hyenas vamoose from them. Then let their heads and eyes return to their normal fountain positions before moving a 45 degree angle right and gave Tails and Zazu their attention.
"You two okay?" Sonic asked Tails and Zazu in concern.
"Why yes, because of you and Mufasa, we're fine." Zazu responded To Sonic.
Sonic lightly turned his head right as Mufasa moved his head left as they averted their sight at each other.
"Thank you for preventing that hyena attack Sonic. I believe I owe you." Mufasa thanked Sonic.
"Hey, how you saved my best bud from that eagle earlier, that makes us even, so you don't have to worry about that." Sonic remarked out to Mufasa.
The two Mobains and wildlife all laughed at the remark. Suddenly from the distance, a shiny sliver, sleek shaped air transport with sharp looking wings showed up from the same route as Sonic chased Eggman before, turned right and landed right next to the mess from the fight with Sonic, Tails and Eggman earlier with the four males witnessing the aircraft from it's noise catching their attention and Sonic and Mufasa turned the opposite directions cause of it. Sonic and Tails smiled in reaction to the sight while Mufasa and Zazu just starred at the strange looking object out of curiosity.
