AN:

I have been enjoying POJ fanfiction lately, and have been interested in writing something, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

This story was influenced by The Sea's Serpent by TheSonofTartarus and some of Anaklusmos14's stories.

I think the final pairing for this story is going to be Percy/Artemis/Athena/Zoe/Chaos/Nyx/Gaea/Hemera. A lot, I know, but I'll try and make it work.

Also, keep in mind that I do call Percy "Perseus" in most cases, but I will call him "Percy" in others. Just keep that in mind when reading.

If you don't like it, don't read it. It's as simple as that.

Sorry in advance for any spelling or grammar mistakes. I tried to go through and fix what I could find, but I might not have found everything.

Hope you enjoy!

CHAPTER 1

The firstborn son of Poseidon, King of the Seas and Atlantis, and one of the Big Three, and Amphitrite, Queen of the Seas. A full-born son of the seas and the Prince of Atlantis. The Commander. The Greek God of Heroes, Tides, Darkness, Night, Weapons, and Battle Strategy. The 12th Olympian. The lover of the maidens. Friend of the Hunt. Slayer of Titans and Giants. The favored god. Savior and Hero of Olympus. These were all titles that he was once known for all over the pantheon.

Now he is only known for one title, and even then, only by the gods themselves. The traitor.

Out of all the gods on Olympus, only six remember him for the titles he once held, titles they believe he still holds and has the right to hold. Five of these gods are on the Olympian council. The other presides over the hearth. Even off of Olympus, there is still one that believes in his innocence, and they rule what lies beneath.

The mortals were all wiped of his memory. He disappeared from all the texts, stories, and minds of mortals. Only immortals still remember him without any outside influences, but most dare not speak his name, if not for fear of upsetting the gods, then for their hatred towards him. The only ones that do include the Greek trainer of heroes and huntresses that were in the hunt when he was still around.

He was Lord Perseus. Now, he is a prisoner over the Void, and the Wronged Olympian.

Flashback

Perseus stood in the middle of a large field littered with bodies and golden dust. Behind him stood about 350 demigods and 50 Hunters of Artemis. Directly to his left was Zoe Nightshade, the Lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis. Further down from Zoe and behind them both a little, though still in front of the other demigods, stood Heracles, whom both Zoe and Perseus hated with all of their being. However, they could both see that he had some usefulness in the war ahead and were both forbidden from hurting him, anyway. Not that something like that would stop either of them.

To his right stood all the gods on the Olympian Council and Hades, Hestia, the Fates, and Hecate, with Artemis and Athena standing closest to him. Poseidon was next to them, with Hades, Hestia, Apollo, and Hermes next to him. After them, Demeter, Hera, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Dionysus, Ares, and Zeus were there standing in battle stances with their weapons in hand just as everybody else.

Opposite the gods and the Olympian army were thousands of monsters, including the 12 giants that were born to oppose 12 of the gods. The other giants and major monsters were killed earlier in the war, thankfully, otherwise, the battle about to take place would have been way bloodier. Much of the thanks for that is owed to Perseus, who personally killed many of the major monsters and minor giants himself. Anyway, the entire enemy army was running towards the Olympian army. Nobody on the side of Olympus could see Gaea, but they were sure she was at least watching. As the enemy drew closer, everybody listened for the words of The Commander. Even Zeus and Ares, as arrogant and prideful as they were, did not dare move without his command, as they both knew the stakes of the battle about to take place.

Finally, as the enemy was around 100 yards out, Perseus yelled one word. "Charge!"

And that's exactly what they did.

Four hours in, and the battle was still raging on. The demigods and hunters killed monster after monster, suffering a moderate amount of casualties along the way. The hunters specifically were killing machines, never hesitating between each enemy they killed. However, as many as the demigods and hunters turned to dust, more monsters seemed to appear out of nowhere to replace those that were killed.

The gods were not faring much better. Zeus and Hera were in a battle with Porphyrion, Poseidon with Polybotes, Hades with Alcyoneus, Athena with Enceladus, Ares with Damasen, Hermes and Dionysus with Hippolytus, Aphrodite and Demeter with Periboia, and Apollo and Artemis with Orion. Otis, Ephialtes, Clytius, and Thoon had already been defeated with each of their respective gods and Perseus incapacitating them before Heracles finished them with a poorly aimed arrow at each of them. That was what Heracles did the entire battle. He didn't help out really at all, he just shot poorly aimed arrows at each of the giants that were incapacitated, fulfilling the part of a prophecy that stated that gods and demigods had to work together to defeat the giants.

Perseus himself went wherever he was needed, killing every enemy in his way. He and Artemis were the only gods actually able to engage the regular monsters without being attacked first, as they are both exempt from certain parts of the Ancient Laws, with him being the God of Heroes and she being the patron and Goddess of the Hunt. After he helped Dionysus, Hecate, and the Fates out, he helped Hades and one of his sons drag Alcyoneus out of his home territory so that he could be killed. When he returned to the battle, he went right back into his rhythm, killing anything in his path.

After six more hours of battle, the last giant, Porphyrion, was finally killed by Zeus and Perseus, with the least amount of help possible from Heracles. When the last of Porphyrion had been sent to Tartarus, everybody took a few seconds to catch their breath before the cheering started. This lasted all of 30 seconds before the ground around all who fought for Olympus started shaking violently.

"Poseidon, is this you?!" Zeus yelled at Poseidon in anger and slight fear.

"No, this is not me Zeus. This is something much more powerful." Poseidon said in a grave and fearful voice, yet his eyes held a little determination as he tried his hardest to stop the earthquake.

"Gaea," Perseus whispered. While he whispered it, everybody tensed after they heard the name and the amount of anger in his voice as he said it.

The Olympian army waited with bated breath as the ground continued to rumble. A minute had passed by when suddenly, the ground a few yards in front of Perseus opened and a very beautiful woman stepped out. Perseus' eyes roamed over her body as she stood in front of him. She was wearing a beautiful green dress with flowers and vines all over it that complimented her pale skin very well. She had nice, smooth, long legs that one couldn't help but stare at. She had a perfect athletic hourglass figure with a large bust, based on how well the dress hugged her curves. As his eyes made their way to her face, Perseus noted that she had long, wavy brown hair, a beautiful face, and bright green eyes. While looking at her eyes, however, he noticed that they seemed clouded over and out of focus. While noticing all of this, he had made sure to watch her as she walked a little closer to him. He got in a battle stance and summoned his sword and shield out of thin air as he prepared for an attack.

"You killed my children!" Gaea yelled as she stopped short in front of the army of Olympus. Percy idly noted that there was something off when she spoke, almost as if something else was speaking too. Gaea's bright green aura started to swirl around her, and Percy also noticed that there was a bit of purple in it.

"Your children tried to take over Olympus and kill us all!" Perseus said back in the most commanding voice he could. Everyone around him was listening with rapt attention to what he was saying and awaited his command, even though he wasn't directly speaking to them. They didn't call him The Commander for nothing.

When Perseus spoke, Gaea faltered a little. Her eyes lost the clouded look, and they became more focused. Her aura became completely bright green before dissipating. She looked around frantically for a second before her eyes landed on Perseus and became soft and a little teary.

"Thank you for freeing me. I'm sorry." Gaea whispered so that only Perseus heard. With that, Gaea slowly descended back into the earth. No one, not even Perseus, noticed the small, almost invisible strand of purple energy that wrapped around Zeus and seemed to be absorbed into him. Nobody had heard what Gaea said to Perseus, so to everyone but him, it looked like she just left.

Perseus sighed in relief as his armor, sword, and shield vanished. He turned around only to be grabbed into a hug by his three girls. He looked down at the bunches of auburn and black hair and chuckled softly. He bent down and gave each one a soft kiss on the lips, starting with Artemis, then Athena, and lastly Zoe, looking into their silver, blue-grey, and onyx eyes as he did so. He could already tell he was being glared at while he did this. He looked up and sure enough, most of the demigods were glaring at him, none more so than Heracles. Perseus assumed it was because he was kissing three girls that were supposed to be sworn maidens, and they were all just jealous. Ares and Zeus were also glaring at him, while Aphrodite was glaring at Artemis, Athena, and Zoe. Ares was glaring at Perseus in jealous, Zeus was glaring in anger, and Aphrodite was glaring in anger and jealousy.

"That was the most tiring fight I have ever had," Artemis said as Athena nodded along with her. They both had to fight giants that were born to oppose them specifically, so it must have been exhausting to say the least.

"What about you, Zoe?" Perseus asked, looking down and into her black eyes.

"Nothing I couldn't handle Percy. I'm fine." Zoe replied. Right as she finished speaking, though, she grimaced at a cut on her side.

Athena and Artemis both snorted while Percy put a hand over her wound and healed it.

"Uh-huh. Why don't you girls go get some rest while I check on the demigods, seeing as I am the God of Heroes after all." Percy said while saying the last part in a heroic voice that made the three girls laugh slightly.

All three girls sighed "My hero!" At the same time before starting to walk away laughing from an amused God of Heroes.

Before they could walk far though, Zeus flashed in front of all of them with an almost wild look in his eyes. "Council meeting, now!" He barked with a hateful glare towards Percy. "And make sure to bring your Lieutenant too, Artemis." With that, Zeus flashed away back to Olympus.

Artemis, Athena, and Zoe turned back to look at Percy, confused. "What's got drama queen so wound up?" Zoe asked with a confused expression on her beautiful face.

"I'm not sure. But whatever it is, he didn't look happy at all, especially towards you Percy." Athena said with a raised eyebrow at Percy.

Percy raised his hands in a surrendering gesture. "I didn't do anything this time. I swear!"

Artemis snorted quietly. "Come on, let's get going before we make him more pissed off than he already is."

Artemis quickly flashed away with Zoe before Athena and Percy did the same. When Percy arrived in the Olympian throne room, he quickly assumed his godly height and looked around. He saw Artemis walking with Zoe towards her throne and Athena already sitting in hers, having flashed into it. Doing a quick scan of the room once more, he saw that Hades was standing in a dark corner. He also noticed that his mother was standing beside his father's throne. Percy walked over to them to ask what was going on.

"Hi mom," Percy said before giving her a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi, Percy, how's my baby doing? I don't see you near enough anymore," Amphitrite asked her son in turn.

"I'm doing good mom and I see you twice almost every week. But what are you doing here?"

"Like I said, not nearly enough. And I don't know what's going on. Your father just said that Zeus asked me to be here."

Before Percy and his mom could talk anymore, Zeus flashed in and everybody went quiet. With one last smile to his mother and one to his father, Percy decided to walk to his throne instead of flashing to it. The throne room was situated in a U shape, with Zeus and Hera sitting directly in the middle and the male and female gods on either side. As Percy approached his throne, he took a second to admire it, as he seemed to do almost every time he is in the throne room. His throne was primarily made up of Stygian Iron with symbols that represented his domains carved all over it. On the backrest of his throne was the image of a wolf, his sacred animal, ingrained with Olympian Silver, a rare metal only found on Olympus which is primarily used by Artemis and her Hunters. On the sides of the armrests on the outside of his throne were images of waves and tides that were ingrained with Mystical Diamonds, diamonds that are very, very rare and can only be found in spots where immortals have faded. The diamonds that were used on his throne were from the spot where Selene had faded and are believed to be the biggest concentration of these diamonds ever to be in existence, with the only ones known to exist at the time being on his throne. On each one of the sides of the backrest of his throne were stars and human-like shades holding swords, ingrained with Celestial Bronze. On the very back of his throne were two swords crossed in an X, a Greek xiphos and a Roman gladius, both ingrained with Imperial Gold and sticking out over the backrest of his throne. Overall, Perseus thought his throne was very badass, and he loved it.

He finally made it to his throne and sat down on it. Everybody in the throne room was quiet, with none noticing Zeus' glazed and unfocused eyes with slivers of purple in them. Zeus stood up and started talking.

"The giants and Gaea have been defeated and we owe a large part of that to my son, Heracles!"

Everybody in the throne room scoffed at that, with the loudest being Hera, Perseus, and Zoe. Everybody in the room knew how useless and what a jerk Heracles was, it's just Zeus wanted his son to be in the spotlight. After everybody in the room scoffed, Zeus glared at everyone, with his gaze lingering on Perseus.

"While the current threat has been defeated, I have come across information that is of utmost importance. We have had a spy for almost the entirety of the war!"

The entire throne room erupted into chaos. The gods were yelling over each other, trying to ask questions and get answers. Perseus just sat there calmly waiting for the yelling to die down so that he could hear Zeus explain.

Zeus stood up from his throne and threw the Master Bolt directly into the middle of the throne room, next to the hearth.

"SILENCE!" Zeus yelled. "Yes, there is a traitor in our midst and I will tell you who, if you will let me explain." He glared at everyone, daring them to interrupt him again. Most weren't affected by the glare, but they all wanted to know who the traitor was and hear Zeus' explanation.

"The traitor has been giving Gaea information about our forces and our weaknesses. That is how this war has lasted so long! If we didn't have a spy, we would have easily defeated those stupid giants and Gaea!"

Many in the room didn't believe that last part, but they weren't about to speak up since they were curious as to who the spy was.

"I have always suspected that he might be after my throne, but today I know for sure! Perseus is the traitor and has been selling our secrets to Gaea and her children!" He said pointing an accusatory finger at Perseus.

Poseidon immediately stood up from his throne and pointed his trident at Zeus. Everybody else was too shocked to do anything. Perseus discreetly moved his hands over his throne and said some words under his breath.

"My son is not a traitor! He never was and he never will be!" Poseidon yelled furiously at Zeus. Amphitrite immediately made her way to her son's side. Zoe also made her way to Perseus, standing on the opposite side from Amphitrite.

"He is a traitor! I know it! He let Gaea get away! If he wasn't there, we could have defeated her and done the same thing that father did to grandfather!" Zeus yelled. "Ares, bind him!"

Ares got up from his throne with a sinister grin and walked over to Perseus. Amphitrite and Zoe stood protectively in front of him, but Perseus calmly got up out of his throne, put a hand on each of their shoulders, and shook his head. Amphitrite and Zoe slowly went back to where they were when the meeting started, as Perseus held out his hands so that Ares could put special godly handcuffs on him. Ares bound him, inhibiting Perseus's godly powers, then dragged him to the middle of the room, right between the hearth and Zeus.

After Perseus was deposited away from his throne and in front of Zeus, Ares went to go sit back on his throne with a wicked smirk on his face.

Before anyone else could protest or Zeus could speak, though, the flame of the hearth behind Perseus grew to over twenty feet high. When the flames died back down, a beautiful woman with brown hair and usually warm orange eyes stepped out. Now, though, her eyes looked like angry flames as she glared at Zeus. Everybody in the room was shocked and a little afraid, as nobody had ever seen Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth, act like this before.

"My nephew is not a traitor, Zeus! Your paranoia blinds you! You fear Perseus and the amount of power he has, so you are taking the opportunity to dispose of something that you perceive as a threat to your power! You are not fit to be king." Hestia practically growled out.

"I agree with Hestia, brother. I do not believe Perseus to be a traitor or a threat to Olympus. You just seek to get rid of something that you believe is a threat to your power." Said Hades as he stepped out of the shadows in a corner of the room.

"Quiet, both of you! You are not Olympians, in case you have forgotten. Your voice doesn't matter here!" Zeus snapped back at the two of them.

Hades and Hestia both scowled but stepped away.

"Let's put this to a vote! Since he is immortal and cannot be killed permanently, who votes that he shall be imprisoned over the Void and lose his seat on this Council?"

Zeus, of course, raised his hand first. He had never really liked Perseus all that much, but he had never had a sure reason to hate him either. That is, until he started to court his maiden daughters. When Perseus had started courting Artemis and Athena, Zeus saw him as a threat to their maiden oaths. He also became paranoid over the power that Perseus had, and with his connection to Artemis and Athena, and the loyalty he had from the demigods, he was in the perfect position to overthrow Zeus. Now, though, Zeus had the perfect opportunity to make sure that his daughters stay maidens and that he retains his position as king. Those Mystical Diamonds would be nice to have too. Again, no one noticed his glazed and unfocused eyes with hints of purple in them.

Ares was the next person to vote against him. He really hated Perseus. When they sparred, Perseus would always humiliate him and beat him every time. Ares also hated the fact that Aphrodite was so obsessed with Perseus. Even when he would tell her no, Aphrodite would still try to charmspeak him or seduce him, and it grated on Ares' nerves, even though he wasn't the one married to Aphrodite. Aphrodite was still his girlfriend though, even if she was married, and seeing her pine after another man angered Ares a lot. Ares also liked the possibility of a war between the gods, and voting against Perseus seemed like the easiest way to make that happen.

Dionysus raised his hand next. He really didn't care about what was happening, he just enjoyed the chance to make Perseus go insane in a cage over the Void. He also didn't mind the chance for revenge for all the times Perseus annoyed him or humiliated him. So maybe he did care a little.

After Dionysus, Aphrodite raised her hand. She hated the fact that Perseus refused her advances. She was always ignored in favor of those three virgins. She bet he would be amazing in bed, but noooo, he was saving himself for the three virgins. Pfft. If she couldn't have him, then no one should be able to either.

Hephaestus then raised his hand. He didn't exactly hate or dislike Perseus all that much, he just hated the fact that his wife kept trying to seduce him. It was bad enough that she was seeing and sleeping with Ares. He didn't want his wife to have another man too. The fact that he also had the largest concentrated amount of Mystical Diamonds in existence on his throne didn't help Perseus one bit in this case. The things Hephaestus could do with those diamonds and the weapons he could make, it made his decision so much easier.

Hera was after Hephaestus. She didn't actually hate Perseus at all. In fact, she was quite fond of him. He was the product of a successful marriage, after all. She just didn't want to add reasons to her husband's list on why he should have children with other women that weren't her. She and Perseus had talks at length about that very topic and others, making him her favorite nephew and the son she wished she had. She had a pained expression on her face and was genuinely sad when she raised her hand. She sent Percy an apologetic look, hoping he would understand. Judging from the small nod he gave her, he did, but that didn't make it any easier for Hera. The only reason she didn't cry right there was because of the purple tint in her eyes that had helped influence her in her decision to vote against Perseus in the first place. This was also the reason Perseus just nodded to Hera instead of looking at her with betrayal in his eyes.

Lastly, Demeter slowly raised her hand. She, like Hera, didn't hate Perseus at all and viewed him almost like a son. But she didn't want to anger Zeus and have what resulted in Persephone's birth happen again, no matter how confident she was that she could overpower him if he attempted it. She looked at Percy with tears threatening to spill out of her eyes and an apologetic expression on her face, prompting Percy to just nod at her. He noticed that she too had hints of purple in her eyes.

Zeus looked around the room at the hands raised and nodded in satisfaction. Perseus had his head down in resignation, yet he was also making mental notes of what had just happened, or more specifically, the purple in the eyes of Zeus, Demeter, and Hera. Zoe, Amphitrite, Artemis, Athena, and Poseidon all had tears falling down their faces, while Apollo, Hermes, Hades, and Hestia just looked unbelievably sad and angry.

"Well, it's just formality at this point, but who votes that Perseus shall be left alone and will retain his seat on the Council?"

Poseidon, Artemis, Athena, Hermes, Apollo, Hades, and Hestia all raised their hands immediately.

Poseidon raised his hand, obviously, because Percy is his firstborn son, and even if he wasn't his firstborn, he was still his son. Poseidon trusted Percy completely. He was his pride and joy, and it both angered and saddened him beyond anything he had ever felt before that Percy was being punished for something he didn't do. The seas wouldn't be the same for a long time to come.

Artemis and Athena both raised their hands because they, along with Zoe, were Percy's lovers. They both loved Percy with all of their hearts, and they knew he felt the same about them. Their hearts broke when they saw that Percy would be in a prison over the Void and that they most likely wouldn't be able to see him. They wouldn't be the same without Percy, only really confiding in each other and Zoe, and sometimes with the others that voted in favor of him.

Hermes and Apollo were both sad and extremely angry that their best friend was about to be imprisoned over the Void. Hermes, Apollo, and Percy had quickly become best friends, pulling pranks and hanging out together when they were free. Hermes and Apollo also found it extremely funny and unfair that he got three sworn maidens to fall in love with them. Apollo and Hermes wouldn't be themselves for a long time.

Lastly, even though they were completely ignored by Zeus, Hades and Hestia voted in favor of Percy. He had truly become their favorite nephew ever. He treated them as if they were on the Olympian Council, even though they weren't, and he would make an effort to spend time with both of them. Both Hades and Hestia wouldn't act the same towards most of the council after this, at least not for a long, long time.

Zeus wore, if possible, an even more satisfied expression on his face. "You have two minutes to say your goodbyes." He said with finality. "Ares, unbind him for those two minutes only, but stay next to him and be ready to attack if necessary." Ares nodded, actually believing the fact that he could prevent Perseus from escaping. He went over and unbound Perseus, before stepping to the side just slightly.

Zoe, Amphitrite, Artemis, and Zoe all rushed over to Percy. Poseidon, Hermes, and Apollo all got off of their thrones and started walking over to Percy along with Hades and Hestia. Amphitrite got to her son first and hugged him with all of her might.

"Oh, Percy!" She cried, sobbing into his chest.

"Mom, it's going to be okay," Percy said quietly.

"No, it's not! I'm going to miss you so much." Amphitrite said before stepping away slightly.

"I'm going to miss you too, mom. So, so much." Percy said with a few tears in his eyes.

Once there was enough room for them to squeeze in, Artemis, Athena, and Zoe all crushed Percy in a hug and started sobbing into his chest. Now Percy too had tears falling down his face.

"I'm going to miss you all so much, but I will come back to you. I promise." Percy said, lifting each of their chins so that they were all looking up at him. They stopped crying slightly and gave him small smiles. He gave them each a loving kiss on the lips before they too stepped away slightly.

Next, Poseidon came up to Percy with slightly wet eyes and gave him a firm hug.

"I'll miss you, my son." He said in a soft voice.

"I'm going to miss you too, dad," Percy replied in an equally soft tone.

Poseidon stepped away and allowed Hermes and Apollo to each give Percy a bro hug each, Hades to give him a firm handshake and a small nod and sad smile, and Hestia to give him a warm hug.

Percy looked at everyone who had supported him. His family, his friends, his lovers. It made him sad to know that he would have to leave them for a time, even if he didn't know how long.

"I will come back. When the time is right, I will be back. I swear it on the Styx." Lightning flashed outside and thunder boomed. Everybody smiled a little at that, knowing that he always keeps his promises, not to mention that his one was on the Styx.

Before anyone could say anything else, however, Ares came back over and bound Perseus again. Ares dragged Perseus back over in front of Zeus. Zeus stood up from his throne and started speaking.

"It's time to go traitor! Hephaestus, Ares, come grab on to me and I will flash us to the location where Perseus' prison will be."

Zeus walked over to Perseus and put a hand on his shoulder. Both Ares and Hephaestus did as they were told and put a hand on each one of Zeus' shoulders. Zeus flashed them out of the throne room and onto a pure black platform. Of course, once again, only Perseus seemed to notice the faint purple glow of Zeus' aura before he flashed to where they now stood. Perseus, Ares, and Hephaestus looked around in awe. They were standing on a completely black platform that was directly above the Void. Pure darkness surrounded them, except for the faint red glow so far above them that Perseus could hardly tell it was there. His best guess would be that the faint red glow above them was Tartarus, the Pit.

"Hephaestus, go and get the cage that I had you build specifically for godly beings."

Hephaestus nodded his head and flashed out, before returning with multiple large pieces of metal that looked to fit together like a puzzle to form something huge. Those pieces were quickly put together by Hephaestus to form a large cage, big enough to fit a god in their godly height.

"It's a pretty nice cage, don't you think so? The entirety of it is made of an alloy that is a combination of Stygian Iron, Imperial Gold, Celestial Bronze, Olympian Silver, and mortal steel. This is virtually impossible to escape from, even by a god with your power." Zeus said with a sinister smirk. "And who knows? We might be able to do something with those Mystical Diamonds from your throne and make an alloy that is impossible for an elder Titan to break."

"I don't think that'll be happening," Perseus said with a smirk.

Hephaestus attached the hanger of the cage to the bottom of the pitch-black platform they were on, and he opened the top so that Perseus could be thrown in. Zeus quickly threw him in and closed the cage, before roughly dropping the cage off of the platform so that it was now hanging from the platform with nothing below it. Before anything else could be said, though, Zeus turned to Hephaestus.

"You cannot be allowed to remember this. You are the only one who knows where Perseus is who I have doubts about as to whether or not you will stay loyal. I cannot have you trying to free him sometime in the future."

Zeus' eyes then glowed purple before he raised a finger and rested it on Hephaestus' forehead. Before Hephaestus could react, his eyes glowed purple for a second, before he flashed back to Olympus.

Ares raised an eyebrow in surprise. "I didn't know you could do that." He muttered under his breath before he too flashed back to Olympus.

Zeus turned back and looked at the cage hanging below him. His eyes flashed a dark purple before he clutched his head in pain and flashed back to Olympus just as the others did. He didn't remember or know why he did a lot of what he just did, but he did know that Perseus was a traitor and that he got what he deserved.

Flashback End

Perseus was sitting down in his cage, and he was bored. Very, very bored. And not to mention lonely. He didn't know how long he had been in the cage, but it had already felt like forever. He had meant what he had said, though. He would return when the time is right. He had sworn it on the Styx, after all.

He was in his human height right now, as he often was when he was alone. He felt more connected to his hero domain that way, similar to how Artemis felt more connected to her Hunters when she was in her human form. Since he was in his human form, and the cage he was in was built to be able to hold a god in their godly form and height, there was a lot of extra space in his cage, not that he could use it for anything.

Before he could even start to think of anything to quench his boredom, a large, black portal formed in front of him. He could see what looked like stars and galaxies when looking into it. Perseus slowly stood up from his spot on the floor of the cage and waited. A second later, four figures stepped out of the portal.
