"I can't believe you fucking talked me into this, Deku!"

This was what Toshinori heard as he entered the dorms to check on young Midoriya and the rest of Class 1-A and found a few of the students sitting in the commons room. He watched as young Jirou let out a sigh as young Bakugou yelled at young Midoriya and judging from their looks, young Todoroki and young Tokoyami were just as annoyed with the explosive boy.

Clearing his throat, the retired hero caught the teens' attention.

"Is everything alright, my boy?" asked Toshinori, looking at the greenie.

Izuku opened his mouth to say something, but Kyouka beat him to the punch.

"Bakugou's just upset that Izuku-kun talked him into going in on Mother's Day gifts for our moms," stated the purplette.

"I can get my own gift for the hag, damn it!" yelled out Bakugou in his own rabid way as he glared at the rocker girl.

"Uh-huh," replied Kyouka in a bored tone, not believing him for a moment. This caused the ashy blond to let out a growl.

Ah, yes. Mother's Day was coming up, wasn't it? Toshinori made a mental note to visit Nana's grave soon. This did bring up one question as Toshinori turned to the resident shadow user.

"If you're planning on getting Mother's Day gifts, does this mean your parents are returning soon, young Tokoyami?"

The feathers on the bird-headed boy's cheeks ruffled slightly, signifying that he was blushing. He also looked slightly uncomfortable. "Unfortunately my parents will still be out of the country for quite awhile after Mother's Day has passed."

Toshinori raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Then…"

With a teasing smirk and glance towards Tokoyami, Kyouka answered the unasked question. "He's going in on halves with Izuku-kun to get Inko's gift since she's acted like a second mother to him ever since she found out he's lived alone most of the time before moving into the dorms."

With still ruffled feathers, Tokoyami glared at the smirking rocker girl. Izuku also had a slight blush on his face, still not used to the fact that his mom kinda sorta adopted one of his classmates.

'Definitely sounds like something Inko would do and another thing that makes her remind me of Nana,' thought Toshinori with a hum. "Well I'm sure she'll appreciate whatever you boys get her. By the way, what are you kids getting your mothers for Mother's Day?"

"Midoriya thought it would be a good idea to get them all certificates for a day at the spa," replied Todoroki. He then frowned. "Unfortunately we only have little over half the money needed to get them and I refuse to use Endeavor's money to get a gift for my mother."

"I see," said Toshinori with a nod before giving them the answer to their problem. "Just remember that you're not the only ones in your families who should be honoring your mothers."

The teens were silent for a few moments as All Might's words sank in. Once it did, Izuku, Kyouka, and Shouto brought out their phones and made some calls.

"Masaru-ojisan? We need your help with something."

-:-

"You know, Izuku, you and Katsuki should have called me sooner if you were planning all of this."

The greenie rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment while Bakugou scowled as they stood before the Bakugou patriarch. Upon receiving the call from Izuku, Masaru came to meet with the kids as soon as he could. He also wasn't the only one.

"That's right, Kyouka!" exclaimed Kyoutoku, looking at his daughter with a frown. "How could you not tell me about this?!"

"I figured you would have already gotten Kaasan something, Old Man," replied Kyouka, rolling her eyes. "Unless you were hoping to leech off what I get her."

"H-Hey! Don't say it like that! You know I wouldn't do something like that!"

Kyouka just let out a sigh before giving her dad a reassuring smile. "Yeah, I know. I just like messing with you."

This only made Kyoutoku pout slightly at his daughter's teasing. Off to the side with Shouto, his own family members were interrogating him over this.

"I can't believe you were going to give Kaasan such a nice gift behind our backs, Shouto!" exclaimed Fuyumi with a pout of her own.

"Yeah, what's up with that?" questioned Natsuo with a frown.

"Just like Jirou-san, I thought you would have already gotten your own gifts for Kaasan," replied the youngest Todoroki.

"Shouto, you're giving Kaasan a spa day of all things," said Natsuo in a deadpan tone. "Anything we get her would not be able to top that."

Fuyumi rolled her eyes. "Natsuo, you and I both know Kaasan would be happy with whatever we get her as long as we put some thought into it."

"Does this mean you'll be getting your own gifts for Kaasan or did you want in on this gift?" asked the half-and-half boy, tilting his head slightly in confusion.

"Oh we definitely want in on this," replied the Todoroki woman with a serious look. "How much do we need to put in for our share?"

As the money was being collected and counted the dorm's door opened and the next thing Izuku knew was something colliding with his leg.

"Papa!"

Looking down with a smile, Izuku was met with the big red eyes of his happy little girl.

"Hello, Eri. Have you been a good girl for Aizawa-sensei?" asked the greenie, patting his daughter on the head. The insomniac teacher, who had brought Eri over, let out an annoyed grunt.

"Hai!" squeaked out the white-haired child. She then turned to where Kyouka was standing and held up her arms, wanting to be held. "Mama!"

Kyouka let out a few giggles before she picked up her little one and held her close. "Hey, sweetie. Are you going to say hello to everyone else?"

The child looked about, seeing all who was here. There was Shouto-ojichan, Fumi-ojichan, Toshi-jii, and Kyou-jii. Shouto-ojichan's neechan and niisan were here too! There was also Kacc…Kats…Kitty-san and his Papa! But there was something missing.

"Where's Inko-baa and Mika-baa?" asked Eri, a sad look on her face.

"They're at home right now, sweetie," explained Kyouka, nuzzling the little one to make her feel better. "We're planning a surprise for them and the other baachans."

"And I was just about to head out and get their gifts," added Izuku. "Would you like to come with me to get them, Eri?"

The little one nodded excitedly, causing Izuku and Kyouka to laugh. Just as Izuku was about to leave with Eri though…

"Whoa, what's going on here? You guys having a party?"

"And why weren't we invited?!"

Some of the other members of Class 1-A had entered the room with Kaminari and a pouting Mina being the ones to speak up. The others who had entered the room were Momo, Kirishima, Iida, Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Hagakure.

"Does it look like a party, Jamming Yay?" replied Kyouka in a deadpan tone as some of her classmates said hello to their visitors.

"Then what's going on? Is something wrong?" questioned Momo, worry clear on her face.

But Shouto merely shook his head. "No. We were just planning something for our mothers for this Sunday."

"Aw, that's so sweet!" squeaked Hagakure with Ochaco nodding in agreement.

"Indeed!" exclaimed Iida, moving his arm in his usual robotic manner. "I myself have already completed plans with Tensei on what we'll be doing for our mother!"

"I always knew you had a soft side, Baku-bro!" exclaimed Kirishima with a laugh, earning a growl from the explosive boy.

"Gero, this is a coincidence. I was actually on my way out to meet with my family to get my mom's gift for this Sunday, gero," stated Tsuyu, placing her finger near her mouth like she usually does.

"Really?" questioned Izuku, turning to his froggy friend. "What are you getting her, Tsuyu?"

A few croaks came out before she answered.

-:-

Izuku kept glancing at his froggy friend as they and Eri were heading down the Shizuoka streets to the same location. Apparently Tsuyu was planning on getting her mom a spa day certificate as well, much to his surprise. Although, there was one question that came to the male greenie's mind at the moment concerning this situation.

"Out of curiosity, Tsuyu, how come you came here to Shizuoka? Isn't there a spa in Aichi that's closer to where you live?" asked Izuku, turning to her in confusion.

She tilted her head a bit and let out a croak. "There is, but after reading the reviews this one in Shizuoka seems to be better."

The fluffy-haired boy let out a chuckle. "Only the best for our moms, right?"

Tsuyu let out her own series of giggling croaks as she nodded in agreement.

The spa soon came into view and Izuku could see three figures standing nearby. The frog-like features made it clear who they were, especially when the sound of croaking could be heard. The adult of the group raised an eyebrow in question upon seeing Izuku and looked at Tsuyu for answers.

"Midoriya-kun had the same idea for his own mother, gero," explained the frog girl, looking at her father.

The frog-like man nodded with a hum before turning to look at the boy. "Midoriya. You are doing well I take it, gero?"

"H-Hai, Asui-san, sir."

"Call me Ganma, kid," replied the Asui patriarch.

"R-Right, Ganma-san."

This was when the tadpole then noticed the unicorn.

"Eri-chan, gero!" squeaked out Satsuki as she glomped Eri.

"Satsuki-chan!" squeaked Eri, returning the hug to her friend.

Nearby, Samidare grimaced; knowing he would have to watch over the two six-year-olds while the grown-ups did whatever.

The small group then entered the spa, being greeted by a cheery looking woman, and proceeded to buy the spa certificates before heading back out.

"So, Midoriya," started Ganma as they walked down the sidewalk. "Have anything else planned for your mother, gero?"

"W-Well, me and a few other classmates were going to have our moms come down to the dorms where we will have cooked a very nice breakfast for them before we give them the spa tickets," explained Izuku.

"That actually sounds like a very nice idea, Midoriya-kun, gero," stated Tsuyu, turning to look at her father, who knew exactly what his daughter was getting at.

"Gero, you do know your mother will question why she would have to go to your dorms instead of you coming to her, Tsuyu."

"Just adds to the surprise, Otousan, gero. Besides, I'm sure Midoriya-kun won't mind one more guest, gero."

"O-Of course n-not and I'm sure Kyouka and the others wouldn't mind either…well, Kacchan will probably yell something, but thanks to Kyouka I've been learning to ignore him and his tantrums."

A few giggling croaks escaped from Tsuyu, while Ganma let out a sigh.

"Very well then. Just let me know if you need anything and we'll go from there, gero," replied Ganma, looking at the teens.

With nods of agreement and few goodbyes, Izuku, Tsuyu, and Eri then made their way back to UA while the Asui family headed home.

Sunday was going to be an interesting one.

-:-

Sunday came quickly and the Class 1-A dorms were bustling as the finishing touches were made. And not soon after did the five mothers arrive for their special day. Upon seeing the Mother's Day breakfast, the mothers couldn't help but hug and show affection to their respective children and husbands, although Mitsuki had brought Katsuki into a motherly headlock since he was once again being difficult. And Inko…

"You boys didn't have to do all of this just for me!" exclaimed the green-haired mother as she brought Izuku and Fumikage into her arms and did her best to not flood the room.

Both boys blushed, Fumikage more so since he was not used to such affection. Dark Shadow on the other hand had no problem returning the hug.

"Only thing I have to ask is how long did it take to get Katsuki to agree to help?" questioned Mitsuki, causing her son to scowl and growl. She knew her son better than anyone and knew he'd put up a fight before he'd agreed to do something like this.

"N-Not long. Kacchan was happy to help out," replied Izuku with a nervous smile as Katsuki glared at him.

Kyouka just rolled her eyes as her boyfriend tried to keep peace. "Either way, we wanted to do something special for all of you."

Mika held her daughter close. "And that you did. Thank you, Kyouka."

"Yes, thank you. We wouldn't even be able to celebrate today without you kids," added Rei as she gave each of her children a kiss on the head, much to the adult Fuyuki and Natsuo's embarrassment.

Off to the side in the commons room, the rest of Class 1-A was watching in amusement.

"Aw, this is so cute!" chirped Mina with some giggles.

"…Don't you guys need to visit your own moms?" asked Kyouka in a deadpan tone as she gave them a dull look.

"Not until later," replied Hagakure with a shrug. "Besides, we wanted to say hi to your moms first!"

Tsuyu just rolled her eyes before turning to her mother. "By the way, there's still more to your gift."

Tilting her head slightly, Beru let out a soft croak. "Oh? And what would that be, gero?"

The teens each pulled out an envelope and handed them to their respective mothers. When they opened them, the mothers were surprised when they found the free spa day certificates.

"You've all done so much for us, we figured you deserved a day to yourselves," stated Izuku, rubbing the back of his head.

Once again Inko had to try her hardest not to flood the building as she once more brought Izuku and Fumikage into a big hug. Mitsuki grinned as she affectionately ruffled Katsuki's hair, much to his annoyance. Rei and Beru each had a group hug with their respective children. And Mika hugged and nuzzled her daughter in happiness.

"Alright then, girls!" exclaimed Mitsuki, pumping her fist in the air. "After we eat we head into the city for some pampering!"

The other mothers agreed and they all settled in for the breakfast that their children labored over. Once they had their fill it was time to head off and enjoy their spa day! Before they could leave though…

"Papa, is it time now?" asked Eri, tugging on her Papa's arm to get his attention.

He let out a chuckle as everyone turned to look at him and Eri. "Of course, Eri."

The little one beamed in happiness as she ran over to her Mama, pulled out something from her little bag, and presented it to Kyouka. "This is for you, Mama! Me and Papa got it for you! Happy Mama's Day!"

The unforeseen gift surprised everyone, especially Kyouka. "Wh-What?"

Taking the envelope from the smiling child she opened it and her eyes widened in shock at what was inside; a certificate for a free spa day. She whipped her head around to look at her boyfriend, who was giving her that cute smile she loved as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I figured you deserved a day to yourself, too, Kyouka," stated the greenie.

"Y-You didn't have t-to do this, Izu-kun," replied the shy rocker.

He stared at her with wide eyes. "Of course I did, Kyouka! You're the best mom Eri could ever have and we wanted to show how much we love and appreciate you!"

Emotions stirred within Kyouka as her lips trembled and tears came to her eyes. "Y-You…adorable cinnamon rolls!"

She ran forward and brought her boyfriend and daughter into a hug as she cried happy tears while they hugged her back.

"…Is he even allowed to do that?" asked Kyoutoku with a blank look on his face.

"Yes, now leave them be, Kyou," replied Mika as she and a still teary-eyed Inko took out their cellphones and took as many pictures of their children as they could and Toshinori gave his boy a thumbs up.

"Ha! Who knew little Izuku would grow up to be a little Casanova!" exclaimed Mitsuki, her and Masaru proud of their nephew. She then turned to her own son. "Katsuki, you better ask Izuku for advice if you want to get a girlfriend of your own."

"Like hell I'd ask Deku for advice!" yelled out the Pomeranian as he glared at his mom. This earned him a knock to the head from said mom.

Beru let out some giggling croaks as she leaned into her husband. "It's very sweet, don't you think, Ganma, gero?"

He let out a low croak before he spoke. "I suppose so."

"It is and it actually gives me an idea, gero," she stated before turning to her daughter. "Tsuyu, would you like to join us at the spa today, gero?"

The younger frog woman tilted her head. "Are you sure it's okay, gero?"

"I would say so. I wouldn't even be able to celebrate today if it weren't for you, gero," replied Beru, giving off a froggy smile.

Tsuyu returned the smile and nodded in agreement to go.

Seeing this, Rei turned to her own daughter. "You can come as well, Fuyumi."

This caused Fuyumi to blush and become nervous. "Eh?! N-No, I c-couldn't possibly…"

"Nonsense. I think you'd enjoy it," replied Rei, grabbing Fuyumi's arm before the younger woman could run away.

With the rest of Class 1-A, who have been watching everything, Mina gave off a pout.

"Aw man! Kyouka-chan and Tsuyu-chan are so lucky to get to go to a spa!" said the fluffy alien with a groan.

"Ah, who cares about that? Midori-bro just showed off how much of a man he is by taking care of his woman!" exclaimed Kirishima with a sharp-toothed grin.

"It's just not fair! Why does he get all the luck?!" complained Mineta, bloody tears falling down his face.

"Dude, just give it up already," replied Kaminari with a sigh.

Hagakure then turned to Mina, bouncing slightly in excitement. "Mina! What if next weekend we have our own spa day?!"

Black and gold eyes sparkled in happiness. "Yes! That's an excellent idea, Tooru-chan! Ochaco-chan! Yaomomo! You want to join in?!"

"Sure! It might be fun!" chirped the anti-gravity girl.

"I suppose we could do that," added Momo, although she was a bit unsure about it.

As Mina and Tooru tried to convince Momo to agree to a spa day, the Shizuoka Squad plus Tsuyu watched on.

"…I believe you have unleashed green-eyed beasts, Midoriya," stated Tokoyami, turning to the taller boy.

"H-Hey! I-It's not my fault I wanted to get Kyouka a M-Mother's Day gift!"

"It was quite unexpected," said Shouto.

"What the hell were you thinking, Deku?!" demanded Bakugou with a growl as he glared at his former friend.

"He was thinking of Kyouka, Bakugou, gero," said Tsuyu in her signature blunt way and continued on. "If you didn't act like you do, you would have known that, gero."

"What was that, Frogger?!" yelled out the bomb boy, earning another knock to the head from his mom.

Kyouka snuggled up to Izuku as she held Eri in her arms. "Looks like you'll have to do damage control while me and Tsuyu are gone, Izu-kun~"

He let out a groan. "I'd rather not."

Kyouka could only giggle before she handed Eri over to Izuku and then stood on her tiptoes to give him a kiss. She and Tsuyu then said goodbye to their classmates as they left with the moms to head into the city for the day. As she left, Kyouka could still feel the flutter in her chest as she thought about her cinnamon rolls.

This was the first of many wonderful Mother's Days for the shy rocking mother.

FIN

-:-

Mother's Day, May 10, either way it's been two years since I started "The Smiling Family" series and it was actually a coincidence in the beginning since it wasn't until last year that I had Kyouka become Eri's mom on Mother's Day.

This year I wanted to focus on the other moms of the series; Inko, Mitsuki, Mika, Rei, and Beru. Izuku, Bakugou, Kyouka, Shouto, and Tsuyu are the only students who have parents that have appeared AND been named. The only other students who have had a parent(s) appear are Iida, Ochaco, Kouda, Aoyama, and possibly Kaminari, BUT they have not been officially named.

This also leads into the Tokoyami situation. Since Horikoshi has yet to reveal his parents and complete the Shizuoka Mom Squad, I have to headcanon his parents always being out of the country (if I have them as being dead, I wouldn't be able to bring them into the stories if Horikoshi DOES decide to reveal them). Inko, being the type of person she is, doesn't like the idea that the bird-headed boy has lived alone for most of his life so he becomes an honorary member of the Midoriya family. Fun Fact: "Inko" is the Japanese word for "parrot", so Tokoyami still gets a bird mom in the end to go with his new bunny brother.

I should also point out that this one-shot is the twentieth "Smiling Family" fic and my fortieth IzuJirou fic. I honestly didn't realize I had written so many until I made an AO3 profile. That being said, here's to many more IzuJirou fics to come in the future.
