Kara is standing in front of her apartment. She knew while she was gone, Alex gave her apartment to Lena after she lost her job at Luthor-Corp. Kara was not mad when she found out. To be fair, she was a little bit excited. The blonde was glad that her sister did this for Lena, even after everything she has have been trough with her best friend.

Kara knocked on the apartment door. Before she could blink Lena was in front of the door, tears stripping down her eyes. "Kara... hi". Kara could feel the emotion in Lena's voice. It was a mix of fear and hope. Kara knew that Lena was thinking that she would scream and blame her for everything that happened, but she was not. Since Kara came back home, she haven't talk with anyone other than Alex and even then, they were talking about Lena. Her sister knew that Kara loved Lena more than a friend should. Alex told Kara about her sacrifice and Lena's decision to save her over thousands of lives.

"Lena, hey! I am so glad that I found you. I missed you" says Kara taking Lena in a hug. A soft smile playing on her lips. That was the breaking point for Lena. She exploded in tears, not understanding how Kara can still be happy to see her after everything she has done to her. Alex told her that Kara already forgave her for everything she has done but she still couldn't forgive herself, not after she betrayed her best friend and worked with her brother.

"Kara, I am so sorry for everything, I am so sorry" At this point Kara was crying too at the sight of her hurt friend. "Lena, it's alright. I am here now, and this time, I promise I am not going anywhere, not anymore.". Kara could feel how Lena tighten the embrace with every word she said. It felt so good to hug Lena after all the time she spend in that cold place. They stood like that for almost 5 minutes, both sunk in the love they kept apart for too much time. "Lena, I need to tell you something, but first, let's get inside." Lena nods, both making their way to the couch in the living room. "Kara, I understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore. I betrayed you, after all you have done for me, I just choose the wrong path, over and over again I chose to be a Luthor. I will take my thing and live somewhere else." Lena stood up but Kara grabbed her hand, tightening the grip. Lena knew that Kara wanted for her to stay and listen to her because everything she said was exactly the opposite of what the blonde thought of her. "Lena, please, listen for once." She sat down, next to Kara, eyes aimed down to ashamed to look in the eyes of the one she thought she have lost. "Alex told me how you were ready to sacrifice thousands of people for me. Thank you" Lena just stood there without saying a word. She was too scared to react. "Lena, I want you to know, that I don't blame you for what happened with your brother. I kept that secret for too long and you were just hurt, hurt because I just couldn't bring myself to tell you, my identity." Lena was shocked. How could after all this, Kara, the only person who shouldn't be blamed for this, think this is her fault. "Every minute spend in that cold place made me think about you Lena. You were the one that always came to my mind when I thought I was going to lose hope. You, Lena Luthor, were the beacon of light in all that darkness. I would say you are my Kryptonite, but I would lie because Kryptonite makes me weak and you? You don't make me be weak, you make me stronger. You are my sun." Lena was in tears. She was expecting everything but not this. She thought that the blonde will just come, tell her to get out of her apartment and disappear from her life. She was expecting to beg for forgiveness because she knew that she couldn't live without Kara. Even when she was upset with the blonde, Lena will still be in her presence. "I want to show you something." said Kara while getting up and walking in her bedroom. She came out whit a box full of cassettes. Lena stood on the couch, not knowing what Kara has in mind. "Some time ago, an old friend of mine, came to help me, giving me a chance to change space and time so I could repair my friendship with you." Lena couldn't believe what Kara was saying. She had no idea what Kara has done for her. The blonde was talking about changing the very own fabric of time, for her. "While I was in the fortress, before my fight with Lex, he came and told me that he found this cassette." said Kara showing it to Lena "He was willing to help me again if what I wanted was on this one. I told him no. I was about to fight with Lex so it didn't have any sense to watch it anyway. He told me he will leave it in my apartment to watch it when I want. I didn't think I would watch it because I will be dead, but here I am, alive." Lena was still surprised, trying to digest what Kara just told her. She slowly stands up. "Then I should leave. I can come back later." "No! I want to watch this cassette with you, please".

For the next hour Lena and Kara watched the cassette. She couldn't believe how her future looked like, but in that future, she was together with Kara. She knew that after everything that she had done, there were no chances for Kara to return her feelings. The cassette stopped when Kara kneeled down and popped out a small box with a ring inside. They stood in silence for a minute. Lena could see that Kara was thinking and it was scaring her because there were a lot of reasons right know to think about. "I love you" Kara blurted out "I have fallen in love with you Lena. I am sorry I haven't told you this sooner but I was scared. After everything that happened between us, and all this time I have been in the Phantom Zone and then, this cassette, I just had to tell you" Hearing this, Lena get's up and goes to kiss Kara. The superhero kisses Lena with the same passion. "I love you too Kara. I always had and I will always do."
