Returning control to RUUKOTO in 3... 2... 1...

Ruukoto, the android maid won by Reimu in a late-90's danmaku contest, had awoken for the first time in over two decades. "But why," she asked herself. As best as she could remember, Reimu had thrown her into the storage shed because her power banks had completely drained without a way to recharge them. So why was she at twenty-two percent charge? Before she could answer, a loud noise from outside the shed startled her. Ruukoto, figuring there was nothing more important to do, slowly stood up from the pile of junk that she had been lifeless on for two decades. She then made her way through the dark shed, nearly tripping on a few objects here and there, before opening the shed's door.

Outside, Seija Kijin was not having a good day. Her house had been burnt down again and nobody would join her next plot. "Perfect morning, am I right!?" the amanojaku complained to herself as she ascended up the steps to the Hakurei Shrine... only to find out that Reimu was nowhere to be found. "Figures, the exact moment I show up is when that girl's gone or whatever."

Seija then starts kicking stuff around, flipping the donation box on its roof and ripping off some hanging decorations. "Hey Miss Drunken, I got something for you!" One daring shout later, and yet still no response. It was at this point that Ruukoto escaped the storage shed, as well as a very familiar noise gave way to Yukari Yakumo, poking out of one of her infamous gaps from behind the amanojaku. "Well hello dear amanojaku," Yukari began, before being cut off by a now turned-around Seija. "What do you want, Miss Gap Hag," she went on grumpily, as if to ask why Yukari had chosen this exact moment to show up. "Yes, if you hadn't noticed already, Reimu's... not exactly here right now. She's busy resolving the latest incident." Stomping the ground, Seija continued. "Oh, really," Yukari nodding in response.

Ruukoto had reached the pair by this point, when Yukari added, "Your friend, that inchling girl, she's gone off too. And for your record, no, I don't have her." The kyoukai then left the scene. The fence overlooking the shrine grounds was therefore the next victim of the amanojaku's anger. "Uhm, miss?" Ruukoto cautiously spoke. "Who are you and what do you want..." Seija just looked fed up now. "I'm..." The android girl paused, metaphorical gears moving in her brain. "Speak up." "I'm Ruukoto. Robotic android working f-" The amanojaku suddenly jumped at Ruukoto as some sort of attack. Not expecting such a sudden movement, the android was easily grabbed by her right arm and subsequently dragged around. "Wait wait wait! It's 1998, isn't it," Ruukoto desperately tried to escape the amanojaku to no avail. "I don't know and I don't care. Now tell me, you workin' for Reimu?" Seija threatened, a sharp nail just inches from Ruukoto's left arm.

"I... I used to! She threw me out in '97 because my powerbanks were empty! Please let me go!" Seija relented slightly, though still gripping Ruukoto's arm tightly. "Fine. But you are going to promise me that you'll help find my friend, Miss Sukuna." Ruukoto thinks over the offer for a moment, before agreeing. "That... sounds acceptable. Certainly, compared to the alternative. Ruukoto, robotic android maid working for..." Ruukoto paused, realizing that she never got the other name. "Seija Kijin. Proud amanojaku." A cautious handshake followed, followed by the first steps of this seemingly new-found adventure, starting by descending the Hakurei Shrine steps.

It took a little while to reach the bottom, but the two eventually did so. It took far longer to reach a crossroad. "You know this place far better than I do, to be honest with you," the android admitted. "Fine with me. Can you fly or am I going to need ta' drag you around everywhere?" A sigh was heard. "Sort of. It burns my power banks but I can go most anywhere." "And can you fight?" A head shake followed. "Not very well. I just have energetic bullets and the broom at my back." "I suppose we are gonna use what we have, then." Seija and Ruukoto took to the skies, the latter flying right behind the former, and headed northeast.
