Author's note: I recommend to listen to Beethoven's classical piece "Pathétique sonata" as music background for the story :P
Yoshiko x Dia - Pathétique
It was an accident, a misfortune, like everything in her life but it didn't matter…
Ruby had invited Yoshiko to study with her at the Kurosawa's house so they could also get some little help from her beloved one-chan Dia. And Yoshiko, being the kind fallen angel she was, tried to be a nice guest by offering herself to help Dia to make some tea and bring some snacks to Ruby's room when the disaster happened.
Dia was standing on a chair, trying to reach for one of their tea cans when the chair tipped, knocking itself over and she found herself falling backwards. In a flash, Yoshiko ran to try to catch her in the air, only to end on the floor with Dia sat over her.
But the worst part wasn't that. Even though the fall seemed somewhat flamboyant, luckily none of them had got hurt but Yoshiko's hands ended landing on a place they shouldn't be, or rather shouldn't be squeezing so thoughtfully, enjoying their soft touch.
As soon as Dia felt a pair of hands on her breasts, her face started to grow incredibly hot and red while Yoshiko, still a bit dazed, kept squeezing Dia's boobs.
- Don't touch me freak! – Dia yelled more displeased than embarrassed, scaring Yoshiko, who immediately stopped groping her and raised her hands up in surrender.
- I-I-I'm so sorry Dia! I didn't me-
And then a loud sound could be heard reverberating in the kitchen.
Yoshiko's nervous and embarrassed apologize was cut by a loud slap as cold green eyes turned around to stare into her magenta eyes with an angry look in them, piercing her soul while making her feel really small.
Yoshiko shuddered in fear, already feeling pathetic and guilty for that petty accident.
- I'm sorry Dia I-
- One-chan! Yoshiko-chan! What hap-
- Leave!
Yoshiko's apologize and Ruby's innocent question were silenced by Dia's furious yell at the chuuni, freezing all of them in their spots.
Ruby couldn't understand anything, looking from one to another while Yoshiko… Yoshiko was too hurt to say anything, instead, she just bit her lip to prevent any tear from escaping and took her things in a rush to leave the house the sooner possible, forgetting her precious purple hoodie in the process.
It didn't mattered how much she ran, Dia's furious expression kept chasing her anywhere she went, until her legs gave up and she fell to the ground, cold green eyes trapping her in them.
She felt pathetic, stupid…
Freak.
That single word felt like a knife stabbing her heart over and over again.
It was an accident!
She repeated to herself, trying to defend herself but it didn't help to alleviate the feeling of guilt and pity she felt inside.
It didn't erase the pleasant feeling of enjoying that moment of closeness with Dia or how her breasts felt in her hands. It didn't help with the confusion in her mind as she replayed that moment over again.
Yoshiko felt tears running down her face as a feeling of despair took over her. Her hands grabbed her head in a desperate attempt to stop those ugly thoughts from tainting her mind but it was futile.
And then she felt it.
The thick fabric of a hoodie, as well as the weight of another body pressed against her back, and then, another pair of hands pushing her own hands aside to prevent her from hurting herself.
- I'm sorry Yoshiko.
Soon, Dia's soft and regretful voice filled her hearing, calming her down as the image of those cold green eyes burning in her brain started to fade away.
- Do you… Do you hate me? – Yoshiko asked Dia afraid of her answer.
- No – Dia answered firmly, pressing her body more against Yoshiko's back to wrap her arms around her shoulders and bring her into a tight hug.
Yoshiko let out a shaky breath and smiled through her tears, placing her hands over Dia's arms to squeeze them lightly.
- I'm sorry Dia.
- Don't be, you didn't do anything wrong. It was a mistake and I overreacted. I'm sorry for calling you a freak, I didn't mean it – Dia apologized as they stayed like that for a little longer, enjoying the calm that hug brought within it until they both had enough courage to look at the other in the eye and go back to Dia's house together.
