The first one-shot of this collection. Enjoy.
"Tanjiro," Tomioka looked him in the eye. "I want you to master the Breath of Water, as Urokodaki taught you,"
Tanjiro agreed somewhat reluctantly. "All right, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try again..."
At the Butterfly Estate, Tanjiro trained with a wooden stick instead of a sword. He trained for hours:
"Breath of Water! First Form: Water Surface Slash!"
"Fourth Form: Striking Tide!"
"Third Form: Flowing Dance!"
It was a waste of time. He hardly improved.
"I can't master it after all," Tanjiro sighed. Then he noticed something in the garden. "Oh? I know what to do now! Tomioka-san will be so happy!"
Five minutes later...
Water flew through the air. Water flowed from Tanjiro's sword.
"Tomioka-san, look!" Tanjiro exclaimed proudly. "I improved a lot!"
The Water Hashira just stared back blankly before speaking. "I see through your tricks, Tanjiro... That's a transparent hose tied to that stick you call a sword,"
"At least it works," Tanjiro tried. "Who knows? What if it's effective?"
Tomioka frowned. "Tanjiro, are you seriously saying that tap water from a hose can slay demons? And next you'll be telling me that blasting loud music in your ears will teach you the Breath of Sound,"
"Now that you put if that way, no... But that's a great suggestion! I'll go try it!"
Tomioka facepalmed. "I was joking..."
Tomioka swore to never tells jokes again.
Next chapter comes out tomorrow. See ya.
