Hey guys, here's the first chapter of my 101 Dalmatian Street story, The Wolf of Dalmatian Street. Just a heads up, this takes place in an alternate universe. Enjoy.
Another day in London, another day in Camden Town, another day on Dalmatian Street. Dylan sat at the bottom of the stairs.
"You ready, Dolly?" Dylan called to his stepsister, who was at the top of the stairs.
"Bow-whacka-wow!" Dolly said her catchphrase as she slid down the railing, hopped of near the base, and landed beside her stepbrother, "Ready" she said.
"Breakfast!" both siblings called out, causing their other 97 siblings to run downstairs.
Dylan and Dolly stepped back as the others ran into the kitchen. The two teen dogs looked at each other and nodded. They went into the kitchen walked over to the kibble dispenser. Dolly held on to the hose, looking back at Dylan with a nod. Dylan nodded and activated the machine, making kibble spray out of the house. Within minutes, every dog's bowl was filled with food.
"Alright, that's everyone" Dylan said as took they took their seats.
"Including us" Dolly added, taking a bite of her food. The tomboy then noticed her younger genius brother, Dawkins, on the tablet, "What're you looking at, Dawkins?"
"Just watch the news" Dawkins replied, not taking his eyes off the screen.
Reporter: In other news, three robbers attempting to rob a jewelry store were stopped by an unknown savior. Here's a video of the scene.
The video then showed three robbers, one pointing a gun at the cashier and holding a sac, while the others pointed guns at the other people in the store. That's when a white blur zipped around the armed men. The blur quickly took care of them by striking each of them in the head, knocking them out.
Reporter: While it is unknown who stopped these criminals, we send out our gratitude to them.
"They were unable to catch the person on video? That would have to be unbelievably fast in order for that to happen. Honestly, it's preposterous" Dawkins commented.
"Agreed" Dylan said.
"Well, I thought it sound cool. Quit sucking the fun out of it, nerds" Dolly said, her brothers shooting her a deadpanned expression, "Dylan, I'm going to need your help once we're done eating"
"With what?" Dylan raised an eyebrow. Dolly gave him a knowing smirk, "Ugh. That again? Really?" he asked.
"Yep" Dolly nodded.
"Fine. After breakfast" Dylan said, knowing there was no talking his sister out of this as he took a bite of kibble.
The Park…
Once breakfast was done, Dylan and Dolly headed to the park, Dolly having grabbed her helmet and skateboard. Just for extra precaution, they had left Dawkins in charge. The brother and sister duo had set up a ramp. Dolly was going for the long jump record on her skateboard.
"Ready, Dolly? Try to do this without crashing… again" Dylan told her.
Dolly nodded and pushed herself on her skateboard. The tomboy dog narrowed her eyes, pushing her board to make it go faster. She then hit the ramp.
"Bow-whacka-wow!" Dolly cried her catchphrase as she launched into the air.
After a couple of feet, Dolly landed, cheering. However, that little celebration wouldn't last long. Due to her being so distracted with her little victory, Dolly ended up hitting a large rock which knocked her off her skateboard, sending her flying over the park wall. With a few small thuds, she landed on the other side of the wall.
"Ok, note to self: celebrate after coming to a complete stop" Dolly grunted as she sat up, dusting herself off.
That's when a loud honking sound filled her ears. Dolly looked and, to her left, was a large 18-wheeler truck. The tomboy gasped, her pupils shrinking as the large vehicle quickly approached. As if time slowed down, Dolly's heart rate increased, the pup too frozen to move. So, this was it, this was she was going to die. Getting ran over, the typical way dogs were killed (besides being put down by humans). She never got to get married or have puppies of her own. She always thought she'd die jumping fires or a helicopter or something. Dolly shut her eyes, embracing for the fatal impact.
It was then that a quick flash of cerulean light zipped past. When she realized she hadn't hit, Dolly opened one eye, the truck that was about to hit her driving on by. She examined herself and saw that she was still in one piece, not a scratch on her. That's when she realized she was cradled in someone's arms. A white male dog. She looked at him.
He wore a black, hooded cowl that was up, his ears perking through. Around his neck, he wore a blue neckerchief that he wore as a mask over his snout. Around his forehead was a black headband with a metal plate which was engraved with a lightning bolt in the center. On all four of his legs were brown leather bracers. Strapped to his waist was a katana. The only part of his face Dolly could see were his eyes, which were a medium shade of blue.
The strange part was, he had spots all over his body like a dalmatian, yet he had the ears and tail of a husky. Was he a hybrid?
"Did… Did you save me?" Dolly asked as she was set back down to her paws. The dog replied with a confirming nod.
That truck was just seconds away from hitting her. How did this guy move fast enough to get them both to safety?
"Dolly!" the girl dog turned her head to see Dylan run across the street, "Are you ok?" he asked with concern, walking up to her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was totally saved by this guy" Dolly pointed to the dog beside her.
"Who?" Dylan looked at her with confusion.
Dolly turned her head to see no one there, "Huh?" she questioned, the dog that saved him having mysteriously vanished, "But he was just here a second ago" she muttered.
"You want to retry that stunt again?" Dylan offered.
"Uh… Yeah. Let's put that ramp more inside the park though" Dolly said as she and Dylan walked across the street and back to the park.
Unknown to either step-sibling, the very dog that saved Dolly was watching them from the rooftop of a building. A brief glint of cerulean lightning quickly surged through his irises. The dog then leaped into the air, vanishing.
There's the end of the first chapter. In this universe, certain characters, like Hansel (even though I like that character) don't exist. That and some things that probably wouldn't happen in the show will happen here. I thank Gamelover41592 for helping me.
I know this first chapter was short and kind of rushed, I couldn't think of much for it. If you have ideas for the next chapter or future chapters, say them in a review, or feel free to message me.
