Hello reader! This story is about how Yoshi and Birdo first met. It is intended to be a very sweet and cute story about the couple, while also answering any questions like the transgender stuff or why Birdo was working for Wart. This is a fair warning that I will include religion in the story, so if you do not like that please do not read it. This is NOT intended in any way whatsoever to make transgender people feel uncomfortable. Before I write it, I will upload this test version.
I know the guidelines are for auto correct and grammar, but Yoshi is just SO MUCH CUTER with a silly voice like saying me or Yoshi instead of I. So Yoshi will be unable to talk correctly. Yoshi is 14 years old and Birdo is 15.
Without further ado lets get on with it!
Chapter 1: An "ordinary" snowball fight Locations: 1 Yoshi's house, 2 hill next to Wart's destroyed castle Characters for this scene: "Yoshi, Yoshi's dad Happy, Yoshi's mom Jewel, Yoshi's friend Penny, and Birdo"
(Yoshi's house)
Yoshi: "Hey mama! Penny invited Yoshi to a snowball fight! Can me go? Please please please!"
Jewel: "Where is it?"
Yoshi: "um… it right next to Warts destroyed castle."
Jewel: "Is Penny crazy!? NO! Any of Warts minions could be lurking around!"
Happy: "Hold on just a minute! That actually sounds fun!"
Jewel: "WHAT! Has everyone lost their minds!?"
Happy: "What if we run into some minions!? Maybe some shy guys, or piranha plants! It could bring back the good old days when I was a little kid babysitting Mario! I've been itching for a fight!"
Jewel: "Do NOT let Yoshi out of your eyes for ONE SECOND!"
Happy: "Our only child!? HECK NO! You have my word!"
Yoshi: "So can me go!? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!"
Jewel: "Fine! I trust Happy."
Yoshi: "Thank you Mama!"
(All three get in the car and head over to the hill next to Wart's castle. What they do not know is Mario beat Birdo at that exact location just one month ago.)
(Yoshi gets out of the car)
Yoshi: "Alright! Where Penny!?"
Penny: "Just a little further…"
(Yoshi walks over to a tree.)
Yoshi: "OK… Where is Penny?"
(Penny pulls a vine and a lot of snow from the tree falls on Yoshi. A light yellow Yoshi jumps down)
Penny: "HA gotcha!"
Yoshi: "OOH! I GONNA GET YOU BACK!"
Penny: "HA! COME O- (Yoshi runs behind Penny and throws a snowball that hits him from behind) GAH! I forgot you had super-speed! But as a light yellow Yoshi my analytical skills should be able to trap you!"
(Penny throws a snowball at Yoshi's face then runs up a small hill)
Penny: "Come and get me Yoshi!"
Yoshi: "I gonna get you for that!"
(Yoshi runs towards the mountain then stops all of a sudden)
Penny: "What's wrong? Scared?"
Yoshi: "Does penny hear that?"
(A sound of a girl crying is heard)
Penny: "Hear what?"
Yoshi: "come down here!"
Penny: "I know that trick!"
Yoshi: "No! Yoshi not have a snowball! See!?" (Yoshi shows penny his hands)
Penny: "Alright." (Penny walks down the mountain)
Penny: "I hear it now. Who is that?"
Happy: "What's going on over there?"
Yoshi: "Some girl is crying. But Yoshi not see her!"
(Happy walks over.)
Happy: "That is strange. I think she must be behind something or covered in snow."
(Yoshi walks around trying to find it. There's a huge boulder and the sound is coming from behind it)
Yoshi: "She over here!"
Penny: "The crying is definitely louder but I still don't see anyone!"
(Yoshi trips on something and falls)
Yoshi: "OW! What… OH ME TRIP ON SOMEONES FOOT! The girl is covered in snow!"
Happy: "I'll help you dig her out"
(Both dig around the girl and uncover a female pink Yoshi.)
Penny: "EEK! THAT'S BIRDO!"
Yoshi: "Who's Birdo?"
Penny: "Birdo is the traitor to Yoshi's island! She is one of Wart's minions!"
Yoshi: "She is?"
Penny: "YES! Mario beat her just one month ago!"
Yoshi: "But why is Birdo still out in the cold snow?"
Penny: "I don't know! Leave her and let's get out of here before-"
Yoshi (interrupting): "Me can't just leave her here!"
Penny: "Why not?"
Yoshi: "Just look at Birdo! So cold… alone… no help. No one knows how long she been here. What if Birdo dies?"
Penny: "Probably for the best considering what she's done to the island."
Yoshi: "HOW COULD YOU SAY SUCH A MEAN THING!? She may be a traitor, but Birdo is still a Yoshi!"
Penny: "HAHAHA! What!? Do you have a crush on her or something!? Think her tail looks hot or something!?"
Yoshi: "GROSS! Why can't someone just help someone just from a good heart? Why me gotta wanna kiss someone to help them? Me no wanna kiss Penny yet would do same for Penny! Would Penny help Yoshi if Me needed it!?"
Penny: "Of course! But I would never help a traitor!"
Yoshi: "What if it changes Birdo and make her a good person?"
Penny: "That's so stupid Once a traitor always a traitor!"
Happy: "Totally uncalled for Penny! I think it is very kind for Yoshi to help her. Want me to carry her Yoshi?"
Yoshi: "Yeah."
Penny: "HAHA! Yeah Yoshi is too weak."
Yoshi: "Nevermind I do it!"
(Yoshi bends down and puts his arms under her.)
Yoshi: "GRRRRR! COME ON!"
Penny: "HAHAHA! WEAK!"
Happy: "You're a terrible friend. Yoshi, how about I put her on your back?"
Yoshi: "GRRRRR!" (Heavy panting.) "Me can't do it."
Happy: "Here." (Happy picks Birdo up and puts her on Yoshi's back.)
Penny: "Where is her mouth anyway?"
Yoshi: "I no know. Alright. Let's go back to car and go to hospital!"
(All walk back to their cars. On the way there Yoshi notices how violently Birdo is shaking from the cold. She grabs on tighter to Yoshi because his skin is warm.)
Yoshi: "Aaaw. Me feel so bad for Birdo. How long has Birdo been in cold?"
Birdo: "mmmmuh"
Yoshi:"Does Birdo even have mouth?"
(No response.)
Happy: "Dr. Tank should be able to help us. Come on. Get in. I'll take her now."
(Happy picks up Birdo and puts her in her seat. Yoshi sits next to her.)
Yoshi: "I no like Birdo in that way! Penny was wrong! That disgusting! I not even know Birdo!"
Happy: "I know Yoshi. Let's go."
