Preface
The triple goddess speaks….
Morgana Pendragon's extreme measures in my service caused pain and heartache. I wished for my faith's restoration. I wanted my followers to practice freely. Alas, Camelot's persecution pushed her beyond my intentions. Uther Pendragon's murder hardened the Young Arthur against magic. It forced Emrys to tighten the mask over his true visage. The lines formed between those in my service and those opposed. Some tried to reason with the two sides.
Tragedy followed Tragedy. Morgana tangled her ambitions for Camelot's throne up in my service. She targeted others, some of whom might have turned to our cause on their own. Tension's wave crashed onto Albion drowning the political order. She prevented Emrys from saving Arthur. Emrys slew her and performed Duty's charge with the last of his resolve. After that, he drifted for days.
Those of you who have read the "Healing" scroll, will remember I sent Freya to his side. She guided him to Nemeth. Sanctuary's and Solace's warmth awaited him there. Mithian of Nemeth supported him. Her feelings came out. With that, healing could happen for Emrys and Albion as a whole.
It seems that Emrys and Mithian planted Rehabilitation's seeds a year earlier. Morgana's obsession against Guinevere involved the young Princess. She'd counted on a wedge between Camelot and Nemeth. When Friendship's flower bloomed instead, my High Priestess defied my command. Her actions against Nemeth brought the Princess and the Warlock together.
What you all do not know, however, is that Gaius did not heal Emrys completely at the riverbank. Further measures were needed. This is how they happened….
