Luke Lars, an engineer in the Executor, is surrounded by his colleagues who are excited by the celebration of the first anniversary of the first AR game in the entire galaxy.

Luke hears some whispers when he enters the office lounge for his breakfast. He goes to the counter and orders a set of breakfast. While he is waiting for breakfast to be prepared, Luke leans on the counter and takes out his datapad, scanning for the latest news.

Most of the news is boring, it always centres around the rebels, the destruction of rebels causes the society and the politic. Luke is an engineer, he has no interest in the political happenings around him.

He sees news that draws his attention. Apparently, the Galaxy Game is celebrating its first anniversary (which is very popular these days because this is the first AR game in the whole galaxy) which is by giving the user a set of thermal detonators. Those who join for the first time today will get a set of thermal detonators with the addition of EMP grenades. The comments section on this news is overflowing. Everyone is so excited.

Luke takes his tray, finding a seat near the viewport. He set aside his datapad, focus on his breakfast and the view of the galaxy.

"The whole bridge and corridor are talking about it." A voice sounded behind him. Luke turns and sees Admiral Piett and General Veers standing behind him. They are looking at his datapad where the news of the Galaxy Game is on the display.

"Admiral Piett, General Veers." Luke greets them.

"Head Engineer Lars." They speak in unison.

"What are they excited about?" Admiral Piett asks as they sit down in front of him.

General Veers picks up Luke's datapad, scanning for the answer. He tells the admiral about the prize today the gamer will earn.

"Did you play too?" General Veers asks Luke.

Luke shakes his head, "No. I don't have the time to play. I don't even have time to rest, let alone play."

General Veers and Admiral Piett agree with his statement. "It is such a rare sign that a teenager like you did not play this game. Zev always complains to me to give him credits to buy some weapons to upgrade his power." General Veers sighs, "If they have the spirits to play, why would they have the same spirits to work?"

"The first time Zev wanted to buy weapons, Max thought Zev was doing a black market deal. Give him a heart attack." Admiral gives Luke a small detail. Luke has to cover his mouth in order not to burst out laughing out loud.

"Firmus, how would I know he is just playing a game." General Veers sighs, "And you promise not to speak to anyone with it."

Admiral puts up his hand, "Not going to talk about it anymore."

Luke smiles, looks amused at their relationship. He quickly finishes his last bite and cleans the table. "Have a nice day, Admiral, General. Anyway, just let them have fun for today. To them, this is kinda like a big day."

Luke heads to the hanger where some of his crewmates are checking for the fighters. When they have seen Luke goes towards them, they stop their work.

"Sir, have you seen the news? The Galaxy Game is celebrating their first anniversary."

"Sir, we bought you a Galaxy Game box, you should go and sign up today."

"Yes. Besides, you will get more gifts when you sign up today."

"Sir, when you join, let us know so we can form an ally."

His crewmates talk enthusiastically to him. Luke beams, just nod and wave them off.

"I don't have the time to play. Now go back to work, we have a lot of things we need to finish up." Luke says, dismissing them. Luke walks towards a Tie fighter which the engine is fired up. He picks up the tools and starts fixing them.

After some time, he hears his crewmate start to talk about the Galaxy Game.

"I wonder how long it takes to reach the level master?"

"You can ask either of the current two masters."

He gives his friend a glare, "No one knows who these two masters are." He speaks even softer, Luke has to strain his ears to listen to his words, "I heard even the Galaxy game production's employer doesn't know the identity of these two creators."

"I heard some rumours said the two creators don't want to sell their game but another friend of theirs steal it and sell it."

Luke puts down the hydrospanner, he walks quietly towards his crewmates who have abandoned their work. "Should you be working? It's not break time yet." Luke says loudly, scaring some of his crewmates who let out a few curses.

"Sir, don't scare us like this." One man complains.

Another man pulls Luke down to sit with them, "Sir, if you sign up, you will notice they are two gamer is in master level, they were the creators of the game. Although no one knows who are they."

There is a thing that Luke is curious about, "Who has the highest level for now besides the creators? What level?"

They answer enthusiastically with unison, "GreatestGamer, Level 51."

"He is the first and only player who unlock level 50 for now. Starting from level 50, players can get guns. When-"

Luke stops his sentence, "I have seen the description. I know how the game works."

He stands up and points to the surroundings, "Clean up the mess and you are free to go."

His crewmates look disbelieving at him. When they get what he meant therefore they smile widely at him and salute. They rush away and carry his order, this is the first time he has seen his men working so fast and efficiently.

Luke shakes his head before heading back to finish up his work.

After Luke finishes repairing the fighter, he goes back to his office. Luke starts his work by drawing schematics and blueprints.

Luke pauses for a while for a long period of sitting, to give his body some rest, he twists his body around to lose the tension in his muscles. He sees a small fancy box on the edge of the desk. He taps his fingers on the desk three times before reaching the box. He opens the box, a pair of lenses and a pair of earbuds are inside in this fancy box.

Luke carefully puts on the earbuds and the lens, he blinks a few times to adjust the lens. A sentence pops out when he wears it.

Welcome to the Galaxy Game.

The wildest dream starts from here.

The next scene is to choose to sign in or sign up. Luke leans on his chair, debating whether to choose sign in or sign up.

In the end, Luke touches the sign in. He taps his user ID and password. His finger pauses at the login.

After a few minutes of consideration, he clicks the login.

He waits patiently for the notification to pop up.
