The pink haired girl comes over a lot more now, as if she's always around, but she's nice. She gives me treats sometimes and toys, and she knows just the way to pet my fur and leave me purring in delight. She's great! Other than the time where she gave me that plastic bottle, and the treats almost didn't come out. Other than that, I mean, she's great.
She isn't constantly chasing me around like that weird guy with glasses is, and she isn't stealing Subaru's food, like that other hyperactive guy does. And when she's over sometimes she even makes sure Subaru eats, by cooking food for him or cooking with him, and it's weird. She's just as fond of the good food that I like as Subaru is, happily they'll both make me it.
It's strange, and sometimes when I move closer to her hand, expecting her to reach down and pet me, I see that her hand is already busy holding on to Subaru's for some reason, and once I caught her head leaning against his shoulder, as her eyes slowly closed. She practically fell asleep on him.
But it isn't bad when she comes over, because she's nice and isn't too rowdy, but it's kind of strange, kind of different. She comes over now more than anyone else I've ever seen, but she's mostly here to hang out with Subaru, I guess, because even though she brings me stuff and pets me, she's usually talking quietly with him and sometimes she brings him little gifts too.
They aren't edible or they don't smell like food, and he doesn't eat them. And since Subaru doesn't bat them around, they must not be that fun. Though most of the time they seem like the kind of stuff that he usually has, little pencils that he writes with, paper, and it's odd. Like, who gifts someone that, when they could just bring along treats or something fun, really?
But she's so warm; she sometimes just watches me play, as if she's looking after me, or just happy to see me, and it's kind of nice having someone around who will do that without disturbing me, but it's different, that's for sure.
A kind of different that I might just get used to.
