Lilith Mikaelson never got to have the normal life of the average teenager. As an immortal vampire she had only gotten an overwhelming amount of trouble. Her family have settled into New Orleans, reclaimed their kingdom, and now everything for the first time in centuries is calm. That's how Lilith knew it was time for her to go off on her own.
Ever since she became a vampire she had always been there with her siblings, helping them complete their dreams. She never really got to complete her own. Rebekah wanted to find love and she was recently reunited with her eternal mate, Marcel. Klaus wanted Mikael dead and for his family to be safe and to forgive him, which has all happened. Elijah wanted their family to end the fighting and to become a true family once more, which it has. Kol… Kol wanted his magic back and as much as Lilith wished she could give that to him, she couldn't. He was and will always be the one she could never help. Still, he was much happier than he used to be. He was beginning to let go of his anger much like Lilith has. He is beginning to move on.
Now, it was time for Lilith to move on and find what she wants in life. She is still not too sure what that is. She never really gave her own desires much thought. But now was the time she did. The first thing she knew she wanted was to be able to be a normal teenager.
That is why she is moving to Forks, Washington. It was a small town, very small, and had a constant overcast. Lilith had always loved the rain and the cold. As a child she'd spend hours out under the rain, just dancing to her heart's content. It used to drive her parents and over protective brothers insane because she would always catch a cold. Forks was the perfect place for Lilith. Small, cold, rainy. Her dream place. She also wanted to go to school, socialize with kids that were her age, in appearance rather, and to just be a normal mortal teen.
She's not quite sure how long she'll want to have this life. To live in Forks as a human teen, but until she decided what came next, she would stay in the small town. Her brothers and sister hadn't wanted to let her go. They were too accustomed to her being by their sides, forever loyal and loving. But they understood that she needed time to go off on her own, so in the end, they had let her go. Kol was the hardest to convince. They had spent centuries apart and when he woke up he was killed only a few months after. The two were twins and had always been very close, almost inseparable before his daggering, but Lilith had learned to live without him and she knew he needed to learn the same, so with tears she said goodbye to her twin and left.
Lilith didn't look much like her siblings. She was on the taller side, 5'7", and slim. She had long slender legs, small rounded hips, a small tight ass, a small waist, and large round breasts. She has a small round face with almond-shaped gray eyes, a small sharp nose, full cupid-bow lips, round cheeks, and skin as pale as a porcelain doll's, just as smooth and flawless. She has long, straight, thick hair, which ended at her waist and was as white as fresh snow. She was a beautiful woman, often capturing the attention of those around her due to her unearthly beauty and unique appearance. Her hair was naturally white, her skin unnaturally pale, and her eyes are natural, but a startling gray.
Now, Lilith pulls up into Forks High in her second love. Her motorcycle. She loved fast viracles, they made her feel like she was flying. They made her feel free. Her bike was a Triumph Rocket III Roadster, all black with silver detailing. The bike was fast, sexy, and tough.
When she pulled into a parking spot, her bike was the first thing people noticed. When she took off her helmet the second the students noticed was her hair. The third thing that they took in were her clothes. She had a love for neutral colors, mostly black. She chose to wear tight black skinny jeans with her flat black boots, a dark gray pretty tank top, and her black leather jacket. The top cups her large breasts, but didn't show more than just a hint of cleavage and her jeans very favorited her ass.
She ignores the stares as she ran a hand through her soft white hair, combing her fingers through it to get rid of the helmet hair. She got off the bike, pocketing her keys, and with her helmet in hand she started for the school. As she walked towards the building she saw a group of teens huddled together. She counted them briefly, five. They had two cars between them. A dark gray volvo and a red BMW M3 convertible. The cars were nice and they looked new. They were rather flashy vehicles, but Lilith couldn't really talk when she had her bike. She preferred bikes, however. She was extremely claustrophobic and the idea of sitting closed in a car made her nervous. While the cars looked nice, Lilith wasn't that much of a fan. The convertible was nice, she did like that one, but red was far too bright for her. It reminded her of blood. The volvo, she didn't like. It was far too safe and expensive looking. It was as if the owner picked simply to draw attention to him. Plus, Lilith didn't like safe.
Lilith can feel a strange sensation in her mind, this poking sensation. She felt this before with witches when they tried to use their mind trinkets on her, but Lilith brushed it easily away. It'd take someone a lot older to get into her mind. She walked up into the school and started down the hallway towards the office. "Hello." Lilith smiles, her English accent strong and thick. "My name's Lily Mikaels." She rests her elbows on the counter, her chin in her hands, and locked eyes with the secretary. "I'm new to town. Here is all my transcript and vaccinations." She slips a blank piece of paper to the woman. "I am a new transfer. Here's my transfer papers." She pushes another blank paper to the woman. "I'm going to be a junior this year. You have everything you need right here to make me a student. All I need is my schedule." The woman blinks, coming out of the trans.
"Of course, welcome to Forks Miss. Mikaels." Lilith smiles. While the secretary is setting Lilith up, Lilith makes a quick visit to the principal, vice principal, and superintendent, giving them the say hypno message. "Alright you are all set Miss. Mikaelson. I just need you to have your teachers all sign this slip. Bring it back to me at the end of the day. Do you need someone to show you around?"
"No, I'll manage, but thanks." Lilith flashes the woman a smile before turning to head out of the office. She looks over at her schedule, not paying attention in front of her, which caused her to walk right into someone. "Oh, apologizes." She says, looking up to see one of the five in front of her. This one had rather messy copper hair, it looks as if he never took a brush to it, and his eyes are a deep gold color. What she found most horrible about his appearance, and she was going to sound like Rebekah saying this, but his eyebrows were like two caterpillars trying to escape his face. Even Stefan had better brows than this guy. These eyebrows were a complete mess.
The boy, because that is what he is, in no way was he a man, had very pale skin and she could practically feel the cold coming off him. She could smell blood on him, animal blood. It took a lot of effort for her to not wrinkle her nose up at the smell. She also smelt the familiar smell of venom and decay that comes with cold ones. He smelt like death and poison. "I wasn't looking where I was going. My bad." She gave him a friendly smile, not letting him even guess that she knew what he was.
"No, it was my bad. I thought you noticed me walking towards you."
"Ah, no, I was too stuck inside my own mind." She giggles and her eyes take in his body freezing for just a second. Ah, so he's the mind wielder.
"I'm Edward Cullen." He held out a hand to her.
"Lily Mikaels." She says, giving him her fake name. She found that it brought less questions than Lilith Mikaelson.
"Are you new?"
"Yes, I just moved here yesterday." She smiles.
"Would you like me to show you around?"
"Oh, thank you, but I'll manage on my own." His brows furrowed, a look of irritation coming across his face before the mask slipped back into place. "Goodbye, sorry again for running into you." She shoots him another smile before moving around him and down the hall. A cold one here? It wasn't all that unlikely. The place was perfect for a cold one, but that still leads Lilith with a lot of problems. It'd only be a matter of time before they notice she's not human. That could ruin her plans of living a normal life. Plus, cold ones are known for lacking control of their hunger and being more on the rabid side. She is actually shocked to see one in such a public setting such as school.
She glances over her shoulder to see him now standing with another of the five. A girl. This one much shorter and smaller, looking like a little pixie. This one gave Lilith a bad feeling. She did not trust that pixie as far as she could throw her, which is very far. Her instincts told her that those two were trouble and she knew by now to listen to her instincts. The pixie had short dark hair and the same golden eyes. She was just as pale and probably equally as cold. She wore clothes that looked like it came straight out of a magazine, she looked like a model. Lilith was used to Rebekah, who often dressed in expensive clothing, but she always managed to still look casual. This girl looked ready for a party in Hollywood.
The first class Lilith had was history, which brought a smile to her face. History was incredibly easy for her due to her having lived through most of the history. She breezed into the classroom, walking up to the teacher and giving him a gentle smile. "Hello. I'm new. I was told to give you this to sign." She says, causing the teacher to look at her.
"I wasn't aware we were having any new kids."
"I only just moved here yesterday." She told him as he signed the slip. "Thank you."
"Why don't you go take a seat by Miss. Hale." Lilith looks where he motions to see another of the five. This one was the second female. She had the body of a supermodel, but the elegance of a queen. Her clothes were just as nice as the pixie, but for she pulled it off a lot more naturally than the pixie. She had gorgeous blonde hair, which fell in loose waves down her back. Her eyes are the same gold that the other two members had been. She was also unearthly beautiful. She was perfectly flawless, looking almost inhuman, much like how all cold ones are.
Lilith makes her way over to the blonde angel, giving her a warm smile. "Hello. I'm Lily Mikaels. It's a pleasure to meet you." She greets as she sits beside the blonde.
The woman barely glanced at Lilith as she texted away on her phone. Lilith doesn't let it bother her. She bends over to her bag and takes out a notebook, a pencil, and her own phone.
Made it to Forks safely. Got checked into the school fine. In my first class now. History. Literally the class I'm in. lol. That means laugh out loud, Elijah. I am doing okay. I miss all of you, but I am so far happy with my decision. I will call you tonight and let all of you know how my first day as a human went. Love you to bits Eli. Share my love with Bek, Kolie, and Nikki. Tell Care-bear and Frenchie that I will send plenty of pictures of my time away. Kisses.
Lilith places her phone down, brushing her hair behind her ear. "Your accent. Are you from England?" Lilith turns as she hears the voice. She sees some girl sitting nearby her. This girl had a long, thin face with about a pound of makeup on. She was wearing a cheerleader's uniform and had her straight bleached blonde hair pulled up into a high ponytail with the school color's ribbons. Looking at her gave Lilith the urge to vomit. Caroline was a much better and natural cheerleader.
"My family and I move around a lot." Lilith answers honestly. "But yes, I once lived in England. It felt like only a few months, but it was a good few years. Time passes when you're having fun." Lilith shrugs, shooting the cheerleader a kind smile.
"And your hair, why did you dye it white?" The girl asks, wrinkling up her nose. Lilith frowns and touches her white strands.
"It's not dyed. It's naturally this color."
"Bullshit." The girl laughs, but Lilith did not.
"My hair is naturally white. It's just my hair color. There is nothing wrong with me and I didn't dye it. It's just naturally white." She shrugs before turning away. "Class is about to begin." She says, successfully ending the conversation. She grew up with people like that. Judging her for her appearance. She knew she looked odd. Hair isn't normally white, skin was normally not so pale, and no one in her family had eyes like hers. She has no idea why she looks the way she does. The most often questions are whether or not their wasn't something wrong with her health wise, whether she's adopted because she doesn't look like her family members, whether or not her mother had an affair that resulted in Lilith (Ether only had an affair once and only has one child born from an affair, thank you very much), and then some ask if she dyes her hair. She always felt so insecure and uncomfortable due to people's shock upon her appearance. It's hard not to be insecure when people act like she's a faker or a freak. Even a thousand year old vampire can be insecure.
For the rest of class Lilith ignored everything around her, staring down at her pale hands. When the bell rings she silently gets up, putting her bag on her back and heads out the door. She moves down the hall, heading for her next class, which was English.
She was the first to enter the classroom, the other students wasting as much time as possible socializing with their friends. "Hello. I'm Lily Mikaels. I just moved here yesterday and I was told to have you sign this slip." The teacher pauses long enough to sign the slip before returning to his board. She took that as her dismissal and went to take a seat. She took the seat in the back row closest to the window. She put her stuff down and turned her head to stare out of the window.
"Is this seat available?" Lilith looks over to see the girl, Miss. Hale, standing beside her.
"Yeah, sure, of course." Lilith shrugs with a welcoming smile. The girl sits down and places her bag down beside her.
"I'm Rosalie Hale." She held out a perfectly manicured hand, causing Lilith to smile. She reaches over and shakes Rosalie's hand.
"Pleasure to meet you."
"So, where did you live before moving here?"
"New Orleans." Lilith answers. "I lived there with my older brothers and younger brother and sister."
"What made you leave?" Lilith shrugs.
"I grew… ansty. I wanted a change of scenery, some time on my own. I guess I'm just trying to find myself like many kids our age."
"Are you here by yourself?"
"Of course not. I'm underage. That'd be illegal." Lilith says with a grin. "My brothers promised to visit whenever people ask too many questions." Rosalie chuckles at that before staring at Lilith.
"I like your hair." The statement was so sudden and unpredictable, but it brought a bright smile to Lilith's face.
"Thanks. I love your jacket. The color really suits you. Makes your hair pretty much glow." Rosalie seemed taken aback by the compliment or rather the sincerity of it, but after a few seconds the blonde gave a bright smile.
"Thank you." Lilith smiles back before class started. Rosalie kept stealing glances at Lilith, but she never said a word, so Lilith let it go.
Rosalie didn't know why she felt the need to reassure the girl that her hair was in fact nice and not strange, but she did and she was surprised that the girl was so nice and friendly even after Rosalie blew off her earlier greeting. She knew there was something about the girl. Edward couldn't read her mind, but Rosalie liked her. There was just something about this girl that made Rosalie feel warm. The girl was very friendly and she seemed easy to talk to. Rosalie never liked humans. They reminded her too much of the life she can never have, but this girl wasn't human. She was something else. Rosalie could feel it. But whatever the girl was, Rosalie didn't feel as if she was a threat.
When their class ended Rosalie said goodbye and headed off to meet the others before her next class. They were all waiting in the staircase of the building. The wonder twins were discussing the girl in question. "I still couldn't read her mind. But there's more. I was listening to her conversation with the secretary and principal. It was so strange. It was as if they were in some kind of trance. She told them her name, that she was new, and that they had all the paperwork that they needed for her to attend Forks High."
"What's weird about that?" Rosalie asks, entering the conversation.
"They replayed back what she said in this monotone voice and had this blank stare about them. It was as if they were in some kind of trance." Edward enforces.
"I had the first two classes with her." Rosalie says, crossing her arms around herself. Her blue jacket hugging her body more. The blue really did compliment her hair. "I like her." Rosalie says, causing them all to look at her. "She's harmless, so leave her alone."
"I can't hear her thoughts." Edward says angrily.
"So what? You can't read her thoughts, big deal. I wish I had such a gift. I like her, so leave her alone." Emmett wraps his arm around Rosalie, pulling her against his side, kissing the top of her head.
"What's the big deal, Eddie. She just can't be read." Emmett says, backing Rosalie.
"Don't call me that." Edward snaps. "She could be a threat. I can't tell what her plans are. Why is she here?"
"How about you try to talk to her?" Rosalie says.
"Please, as if you'd actually talk to someone. You think everyone but Emmett is beneath you." Rosalie bares her teeth, anger filling her golden eyes.
"Edward, not cool, man." Emmett says.
"She moved here from New Orleans. She lived there with her brothers and sister. She moved here because she is trying to find herself. She wants to take some time to be on her own. I talked to her and she told me this."
"She could be lying." Rosalie huffs.
"Whatever. I don't think she's a threat. Like I said. I like her."
"Why? You hate everyone. You didn't get put into that hypno trans of her's did you?" Edward asks. Rosalie narrows her eyes at Edward.
"I have class to get to." She says instead of what she really wanted to. "Just leave Lily alone. It's bad enough I have to deal with you. I don't wish to condem her to the same fate." Rosalie turns on her heels, grabs Emmett by the hand, and begins to head off for her next class.
Lilith slips into her Chemistry class and heads for the back of the class. She takes a seat at the table, placing her bag down by her stool. She had just gotten settled when Rosalie walked over. "Hey, Lily, can we sit in front of you?" Lilith looks up to see Rosalie with another member of the five. This one had the same pale skin and golden eyes as Rosalie, but instead of the golden blonde hair he had dark nearly black hair. He was also twice as wide as Rosalie and twice as tall. This man was a big hulk of a man. Solid body of muscles. Burly and rugged. He was a good looking man. Strong jawed, almond shaped eyes, full lips. He was just also very intimidating.
"Sure." Lilith smiles in greeting.
"This is my boyfriend, Emmett Cullen." Rosalie introduces.
"Hey." The man greets, giving her a smile.
"Nice to meet you." Lilith greets in return. The couple sat down at the table in front of Lilith's and turned so that they could face one another.
"So, Rose says you're from New Orleans." Emmett says as a way to start a conversation.
"I moved from there, but I'm originally from Virginia."
"Virginia?" Rosalie asks.
"Yeah. A small town called Mystic Falls." Lilith tells her.
"You didn't mention that before." Lilith shrugs.
"I haven't lived there since I was very young. I don't remember it all that much."
"We're originally from Alaska." Emmett tells her.
"Oh, so you didn't grow up here?" Lilith asks.
"No, actually we moved here only last year ourselves. We were adopted by Dr. Carlisle Cullen and his wife Esme. We all live together, but we're not actually siblings. Some people think that's weird." Emmett says.
"I don't see a problem with that. I knew a lot of people who lived together and were adopted siblings, but ended up dating. Like you said, it's not as if you are actually related."
"I like her." Emmett tells Rosalie, causing Lilith to chuckle.
"Mr. Hale, you were almost late." The teacher says just as the bell rings. Lilith looks over and all but stops breathing. The last member of the five had walked in. This one was the tallest of the boys, but he was more lean. Not scrawny like Edward, but not solid like Emmett either. Thin, but muscular. He had wild curly blonde hair, but it wasn't unkempt looking like Edward, but a stylish messy look to it. He was also pale with the same golden eyes. As Lilith's eyes roamed his body appraisingly she was taken once more off guard as those golden orbs locked onto her gray ones. The entire world disappeared, everything around her faded to black until the only thing before her was this man. The only important thing left in her world was this man. She was breathless and entranced by this being. Nothing matters anymore except for this man. She wanted him like she has never wanted anything before in her life. Her heart yearned for him, her body ached for his touch, her soul longed to bond with his. He was her eternal mate. He was her life.
