Only Steps Away From A Slytherin
Hermione sighed. She rolled over for the millionth time in her bed. She was restless. There was no point in getting any sleep, she decided, and she got out of bed and headed down to the kitchen.
She was just having some water, when she heard something move behind her. She turned around and whipped her wand out. She didn't know why she bothered, but she thought to herself that it was better to be prepared than take the risk: the news was that there were death eaters seen around the Burrow… She saw a flash of orange. She put her want back in her pocket and looked at the girl who was standing in front of her.
"Ginny," she said. "Why aren't you asleep? It's 2 in the morning."
"I could ask you the same question," The redhead replied, shrugging.
"I couldn't sleep."
"Neither could I! Have you any idea how it is sleeping in the same room as bag-face?"
"I sleep in the same room as you, Ginny! But yes. Fleur sleep talks!"

Hermione was awoken the next morning with the door creaking open.
So was Ginny.
"We really need to fix that door," Ginny moaned.
"Mhm." Said Hermione, pushing some loose bushy curls behind an ear.
"Why were you two asleep on the sofas?" Came the voice from the person who opened the door.
"Oh… Harry! I just came here for a bit…" said Ginny, blushing.
Hermione rolled her eyes. Ginny had a 'thing' for Harry, and by the look on her other best friend's face when he saw her, he liked her too. "Morning Harry," she said.
"No need for the eye roll," Ginny said. "You like Ron." Ginny said mischievously, wiggling her eyebrows.
It was Hermione's turn to blush now. "I… I do not!"
"Do."
"Okay girls, come on, breakfast." Said Harry, but he was secretly amused, and he knew Hermione knew that, as she passed him, glaring.

"Ah, Ginny, Hermione. Come, Come, breakfast." Molly greeted them with open arms.
Despite Ginny complaining about how Hermione had kept talking through the whole night and kept her awake (Hermione hadn't, she just wanted to tease and annoy her), dinner was peaceful, one of the reasons being that Ron was still asleep (typical.). The rest of the family got up and left the kitchen. Then Harry got up, he said that he was going to and wake Ron.
"Aww Harry! You can stay here! Hermione will go and wake him up." Ginny exlaimed.
"I will not!" retorted Hermione.
"Why not?" Ginny asked, hands on her hips.
"He's a boy. I don't wake boys from their sleep."
"Why not? I'm sure Ron will appreciate it!" She added, smirking at Hermione.
"Ginny, what is it with you and 'Me and Ronald?'"
"I know you like him."
"DO NOT!"
"Totally. Anyway, Harry, mum will go and wake him."
"Okay," said Harry.
Harry and Ginny looked at each other for too long…
"Imma leave you too two it… Bye."

Hermione was reading a book when Ginny came in, squealing, and Hermione had a feeling she knew why.
"Hermioneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hermione Hermione Hermione!"
"Calm down, Ginny! Lemme guess-"
"Me and Harry did it!" she squealed loudly.
"Okay, okay, I get it! So, how was it?"
"It was great. Wanna know something?"
"Go ahead."
"He's a great kisser."
"I can imagine. Anyway, I need to go somewhere."
"Ooo. Where?"
"Somewhere. Cya!"
