Captain Hook was up to his old tricks after losing to Peter Pan again. Later that night, he finds the lost boys and Peter Pan camping out near the mermaid lake, hoping to swim with the mermaids the next day. He hopes to keep Peter panicking for a few days and out of his hair. He goes to capture his shadow again but this time he wants to keep the shadow so Peter Pan has to come over to his ship and do what he wants. He uses the same trick he did last time to take his shadow.
The shadow sees Hook and sticks his little black tongue out at him and runs everywhere making as much racket as possible to wake up Peter. Peter Pan does wake up and there is a huge fight breaking out, Tinkerbelle knows that Peter's shadow is a little trickster so tries to get the shadow out of the fight and out of the way but where she can keep her eye out on him so he doesn't run out on his own like last time. She does a good job until Mr. Smee is told to capture her as well. At that moment Peter's shadow escapes and heads out to Neverland. Tinkerbelle finally escapes Mr. Smee's grasps and Peter ends up tripping Hook into the water waking up the mermaids. They retaliate and start attacking Hook as well.
"Retreat!" calls Hook.
The pirates with Hook start retreating as the mermaids start throwing corals and shells at the pirates. Tinkerbelle goes to where she had the shadow waiting for her. She doesn't see the shadow so goes to Peter freaking out. Peter has to calm her down before he can understand what she is saying. She tells him finally what happened and panics more that he was able to escape again. Peter calms her down again and assures her they will find his shadow. The search for the shadow begins looking all over Neverland for Peter's shadow wondering how the shadow keeps on detaching itself from Peter.
