Waverider Control Room
As Ray left the ship the control deck he left the ladies: Zari, Charlie, Sara, and Mona to themselves wondering if he was behaving weirder than usual. Eventually, Mona sniffed Zari who felt weirded out. "Speaking of weird," Zari commented.
"I think my sense of smell has improved because of Wolfie," Mona explained due to transforming into a Kaupe. "And you smell exactly like Nate." She commented as Charlie's mouth opened and Sara blinked.
"Uff, I don't." Zari denied.
"It's definitely Nate. Nate and something else." Mona stated and took another sniff at Zari. "Arousal?" Mona guessed causing Charlie to laugh and Sara to become amused as she made a slight kissy face.
"No, I don't ... I don't like Nate that would be wrong and-" Zari denied feeling embarrassed.
"He likes you." Sara cut in as she leaned in on the control board and put her hand on her chin her amusement growing by the minute. "He confessed it when he swallowed the truth bug."
"We're so not passing the Bechdel Test right now," Zari mentioned.
"It's okay to talk about guys sometimes," Sara said with a slight smirk.
"Come one, I bet it's been months since you got laid." Charlie guessed as she joined in again. "Now why don't you just go smash Nate." She advised.
"Or better yet you go smash somebody else because if you're still thinking about Nate then you know you're really into him." Sara counter proposed.
"Why don't you talk to Nate? Tell him how you feel." Mona suggested
"Oh, boo." Charlie disgruntled.
"That is a terrible idea," Sara added with a nod.
"So those are my options? Talk about my feelings. Smash Nate. Or smash someone else?" Zari listed off sourly.
"Worked for me with Ava. It's why I smashed Constantine." Sara mentioned.
"Either way you get to shag someone," Charlie said brightly. "Really puts one in good mood."
"Wow, you all equally suck with relationship advice," Zari said snidely. "I'm going, bye." She said as she desperately finally got away.
Author's Notes: I actually liked this scene it was really funny, but the advice they gave Zari while hilarious was pretty crappy; especially Sara's, and something tells me she's done that before. I don't really care about Nate x Zari, I don't really hate it but I don't really like it either as I personally I thought it was one of those unnecessary relationships.
