"Harry Potter" The words still ringing in his head. How could this have happened he was only 14 and was going to have to compete in a deadly competition even the best wizards struggle in. He had hoped to find comfort and trust from his friends but alas Ron and the rest of the school thought he was a liar and a cheater,at least Hermoine seemed to have a little faith in him.
As he continued to think on what to do,unbeknownst to him someone did believe and they were standing right next to him. "You okay Harry"? The sudden company surprised him,he didn't really know how to respond instead deciding to look up and see who was now accompanying him by the Lake.
"I'm doing fine Katie" he responded clearly lying. "I believe you Harry" Katie blurted out almost instantly. This definitely shocked him,of all the people to believe him it wasn't Ron if Hermione but rather his brown haired Quidditch teammate.
"I've known you for 4 years now and I'd like to think we're friends and from what I've gathered from being near you is this isn't something you would do." She said sweetly. "Thanks Katie" he responded Kindly. "I'm sorry I didn't get to talk to you for very long Harry but it's getting late and I should probably head back." "Alright Goodnight Katie" "Goodnight Harry"
And with that even if he didn't know it something special had been started.
