"Yay, okay, it's another normal day. Whatever." I thought. I got out of my normal car, walking with my normal feet and breathing in normal (and polluted, I guess) air while moving normally in a normal way. Everything was normal, boring and ordinary.

So much rain.

I looked down. On the road was a book. A BOOK. It looked ancient and mysterious. It seemed to have a hard cover. It was binded together by string. I hesitated. I closed my eyes. The rain pored on. The book lay there, gleaming in the murky puddle. I was drawn to it. I couldn't help it. I mean, how often do you see an ancient-looking, SUPERCOOL book on the road?

It looked shiny.

"Why not?" I thought, grabbing the thick, wet book from the road. Little did I know that this book would change my life forever. Picking up this book from the road was something that I could never undo.
