1. Chapter 1

Lightning McQueen:

How do you get so shiny and bright?
L: I avoid unnecessary exposture to the outside world.

If you couldn't be a race car, what other kind of car would you like to be?
L: I don't even want to think about that question, it's just not an option.

If you could write your own bumper sticker, what would it say?
L: "See you later!"

Were you always fast, or did you have to practice when you were a kid?
L: I was always fast, but I had to practice every day to be the fastest.

What's the most fun thing about being a race car?
L: The screaming fans, the deluxe trailer, the adoration of a generation - you know, the little things.

Sally Carrera:

What's better: a car wash or a full tank of gas?
S: They're both reat, and you can get them here in Radiator Springs along with a nice night's rest at my very own Cozy Cone Motel.

If you could write your own bumper sticker, what would it say?
S: "Keep your eyes on the road, please."

You have a caution-cone collection, what's your favourite piece?
S: I would have to say my cone-a-graph. It still plays records, it's old, and very rare.

Why did you go into the motel business?
S: When I came to Radiator Springs, everyone took such good care of me that I wanted to make sure that anyone else that found themselves here had somewhere to stay and feel taken care of.

Do you ever do any racing yourself? Did you ever think of becoming a race car?
S: I try to go out and drive a couple of laps to stay in shape, but I don't think racing is for me. Something about driving in a circle for four hours has never appealed to me.

If you couldn't be a Porsche, what other kind of car would you like to be?
S: I'd be an ambulance. I'm reliable and I like helping folks in trouble.

What do you appreciate most in a car: speed, power, or a nice smile?
S: Speed and power don't mean a thing without a good sense of humor and a respect for the simpler things in life.

Sally, being the sweetheart she is, loves to help others and after reading so many fics about her being a secret race car, she finally reveals she would never be a racer!
