Age 782...

It had been two years since Android 17 used the Super Dragon Balls to restore the Universes that were erased during the Tournament of Power. While Frieza helped Team Universe 7 win the tournament, and was revived, he still had a wish that only the Super Dragon Balls could grant. That wish is to rule the Multiverse above all the Gods. He had an infamous hacker hack into the computers of Capsule Corp. in order to steal the blueprints for the Super Dragon Radar.

Frieza walked into the lab in his starship and asked, "I'm starting to lose my patience. Is the radar ready or not?"

Frieza's minion gulped and turned around, saluting Frieza, "Y-Yes Lord Frieza! We just finished calibrating the Radar, and it's already detecting one of the Super Dragon Balls. It's approximately fifty light-years from our current location!"

Frieza smiled, "Good, set a course to its location."

Meanwhile on Beerus's Planet...

Goku and Vegeta were training with Whis, until Beerus interrupted them to say, "Whis, did the Saiyans bring any more ramen with them?"

Whis nodded, "Indeed, we've been training while the newest flavor they brought settles." before summoning his hourglass and smiled, "Oh goodie! It's been five minutes, the ramen should be done by now!"

Goku laughed, "All right, you can't train on an empty stomach, right Vegeta?"

Vegeta said nothing but nodded as he followed the others towards where Whis had left the ramen noodles to sit.

As Beerus opened his and inhaled the smell, "Ah, this smells delicious! What flavor is this one?"

As Whis took a bite of his he tasted the flavor, "Oh! I believe this is the lime chili shrimp flavor! I've wanted to try this flavor for a while."

Before they could start eating, Whis got a message on his staff from Bulma, but that didn't stop him from eating, asking with a mouthful, "Is something wrong Bulma? Goku and Vegeta already brought plenty of ramen."

Bulma answered angrily, "How can you guys be stuffing your faces right now!? Frieza's goons hacked into our computers and stole the blueprints for the Super Dragon Radar!"

Vegeta nearly choked on his bite of ramen when he heard what his wife said, "What!? That means Frieza is looking for the Super Dragon Balls!"

Goku sighed, but then realized, "Wait, in order to use the Super Dragon Balls, you need to use the Language of the Gods, don't you?"

Beerus grumbled, "Frieza's not an idiot Goku, he could easily mimic what he heard the Grand Minister say when he summoned the Dragon of the Gods for Android 17. This is bad."

Bulma yelled, "No shit! Who knows what he's planning to use that wish for! No matter what he uses that wish for, it won't be good for anyone!"

Whis nodded, "Bulma's right, he tried to use the Dragon Balls on Earth, but the Earth's Dragon Balls have restrictions as to what you can wish for. Frieza could wish for anything using the Super Dragon Balls, he might even be able to use them to kill Grand Zeno."

As the thought of Frieza killing Grand Zeno sunk in, Beerus growled, "Whis, where is he now? We need to stop him before it's too late!"

Whis checked his staff and had a displeased face, "He's obviously crossed over into Universe 6, I can't determine a being's location unless they're in Universe 7. I'll contact Vados and see if she can come up with a location. I'm going to have to put you on hold Bulma." before contacting his sister in Universe 6 and telling her of the situation.

Vados looked at her staff and said, "This is very bad, he's obtained four of the Super Dragon Balls already."

Goku stood up and focused on sensing Frieza's Ki before saying, "Damn! Even with Frieza being so strong I can't use Instant Transmission to get to him, he's definitely too far away."

Beerus grumbled, "Whis, we're going to Earth to strategize, now!"

Goku told them, "It'll be faster if we use my Instant Transmission. Whis, ask Bulma to get Trunks to power up so I can pinpoint his energy on Earth."

Whis nodded, "Bulma, you heard that right? Get Trunks, or anyone available to raise their energy so Goku can use Instant Transmission."

Bulma nodded, running off to find Trunks and Goten playing in the back yard, "Trunks, Goten, you two need to power up so Goku can use Instant Transmission! This is really important!"

Trunks and Goten were confused, but they did as Bulma said. Soon enough, Goku could detect them and had Vegeta, Beerus, and Whis grab on to him and they arrived on Earth in an instant.

Goten looked up at his dad and said, "What's wrong dad?"

Goku shook his head, "Not now Goten, we can't waste any time, I'll explain later" before using Instant Transmission to gather the other Z Fighters, including Majin Buu and Hercule.

Meanwhile Outside Frieza's Ship...

Frieza laughed sinisterly as he had finally found the seventh Super Dragon Ball before clearing his throat and thinking, "Now, let's see if I can do this correctly..." and speaking aloud, "Emoc Htrof Enivid Nogard Dna Tnarg Ym Hsiw Peas and Carrots!" as nothing happened, he tried again, which activated the Super Dragon Balls. But something went wrong, a large glob of strange black goo filled each Super Dragon Ball, causing them to turn dark blue with black stars.

The dragon that appeared looked nothing like the dragon that Frieza saw during the Tournament of Power, it was black with red spikes, and had a demonically long tongue. It said, "Era uoy eht eon ohw denommus em?(Are you the one who summoned me?)"

Frieza nodded and mimicked the speech pattern to reply, "Sey, I ma, won, tnarg em ym hsiw ot elur revo eht eritne esrevitlum sa eht eno emerpus dog!(Yes, I am, now, grant me my wish to rule over the entire multiverse as the one supreme god!)"

The dragon laughed before saying, "I evah on snoitnetni to gnitnarg yna sehsiw ot eht sekil fo a citehtap latrom ekil uoy. I ma eht Regnirb fo Soahc, Krad Rettam Nornehs! Dna won taht ev'I need deerf, I lliw nrut siht citehtap esveritlum ot gnihton tub tsud! (I have no intentions of granting any wishes to the likes of a pathetic mortal like you. I am the Bringer of Chaos, Dark Matter Shenron! And now that I've been freed, I will turn this pathetic multiverse to nothing but dust!)" The dragon then inhaled, drawing all the Super Dragon Balls into its mouth and sending them out across the Multiverse in the form of smaller dragons with a shrunken Super Dragon Ball in their mouths before disappearing.

Frieza didn't understand what just happened, "That dragon cheated me! I did everything right and I got nothing! That dragon will pay! The next time I see him, I will have his skull in my hands!"

Meanwhile, back on Earth...

Whis sensed an unusually powerful and dark Ki before looking at his staff and his eyes going wide at what he saw, "Well, it seems I have good news, bad news, more good news, and worse news."

Beerus looked at his attendant and teacher, "I'll assume the first good news is that you've found Frieza?"

Whis nodded, "Yes my lord, and you'd also be right if you assume the bad news is that Frieza has collected all seven Super Dragon Balls."

Beerus's eye was twitching, "And what's the other good news? I fail to see what could make this situation better."

Whis sighed, "Well, his wish wasn't granted."

Beerus had a look of confusion, "What, did somebody steal the wish from him before he could make his own wish?"

Whis shook his head, "That's the worse news. He didn't summon the Dragon of the Gods... he summoned the Dragon of the Demons."

Beerus's eyes went wide, but he went silent before taking a deep breath. As Goku knew what this meant, he told everyone, "Cover your ears, quick!"

As the Z Fighters covered their ears, Beerus screamed extremely loud in anger, causing a small earthquake that could be felt for miles. After he finished, he was panting and said, "Glad I got that out of my system... Now, Whis, we're going to pay Frieza a visit and make sure to teach him a VERY painful lesson about what he's done."

Goku asked in confusion, "Um, well, if he didn't get his wish, shouldn't everything be all right?"

Whis shook his head and readied the Cube, "I'll explain on the way to Frieza, everyone in."

And so, while Frieza was able to collect all seven Super Dragon Balls, he was denied his wish to rule the Multiverse above even the Grand Zenos. But this didn't mean the Multiverse was safe. Frieza released an evil that threatens to destroy the entire multiverse. But what is this evil known as the Dragon of the Demons, and how will the Z Fighters overcome it?
