A/N Events of season 2 happened on Priplanus in this au.

It had all progressed so quickly. One minute, there were hunters who had brought enslaved people and informed the Robinson family that they needed to be tightly diligent for approximately eight hours. The next minute, they were no where to be seen. They called the eight hour mark before embarking on their hunt: Eight hours before hell broke loose. It made the Robinson women shudder. These were expert hunters, trained, prepared, thoroughly ready for a high risk hunt such as this.

Smith had been warned about the dangers of the hunt that these space hunters were going to go through before embarking on it for fun and didn't make it out alive. A group of ten had came down to the planet with ten other people that had been prepared for such a hunt, condemned to death by the galactic tribunal of justice, something that had made Smith gulp. Everything was supposedly going well. Too well. For a place known as Priplanus, it attracted the oddballs.

"Doctor Smith!"

Smith turned in the direction of the young boy's voice.

"We gotta go!"

The boy was still in his orange and yellow uniform, not in his space suit, not in his pajamas.

"What ever for, my dear boy?"

"The prey have escaped!"

Smith's blue eyes flashed open.

"Escaped?"

"The hunters are DEAD!"

"Dead? No, it can't be! They're professionals!"

"Warning, warning, alien life forms approaching!"

Smith turned in the direction of what was ahead spotting under the nightlight three of the creatures.

"They've been overwhelmed!"

"What about our neighborhood hermit?"

"He left a hour ago!"

"Can't take the threat of these guys over being left alone!"

Will took Smith by the hand then they proceeded to run with Robot firing back with electricity. Smith tripped and fell spraining his ankle then looked up spotting the familiar sight of the Jupiter 2 all but a distant specter with the orange glowing window standing out as he screamed.

"It's the end! The end! It's the end!" Smith cried. "Go without me, my boy!"

"No, Doctor Smith!" Will set his hand on the older man's shoulder.

"You're a child-" Smith insisted. "You heard what they do with people! Make them into eggs!" The boy's grip grew tighter as Smith proceeded to whine reminding what was in stake as his stare grew distant ignoring the young boy. "Or impregnate them!" Smith squeezed his eyes shut. "Die painfully with their spawn erupting out of their chests!"

"We crashed here with you and my folks are going to be flying with everyone involved." He helped the older man up to his feet then handed him the laser pistol. "Even if they weren't part of the crew compliment!"

Will slid aside a flame thrower that was perched along his shoulder as Smith's hand was trembling. Robot halted in his tracks then fired at the upcoming masses that were heading their way. With defiance to die fighting to the end, Smith got up to his good foot with Will as his shield then fired on in the direction of the oncoming beast. His attacks missed as the boy held the flame thrower ready to fire back at the oncoming beast with eyes ready for the taking. Smith could tell that he caught one - or at least, wanted to believe so desperately - as the crowd grew larger.

Smith could distantly hear the atomic engine behind him, Robot announcing, "Danger is here! Danger! Defense circuit is low!" And it was the battle cry of a final battle. Smith made his decision as he looked upon the boy then up. For all they knew, there wasn't any more back up that could provide what they needed as there were too many of them and the aliens had multiplied. It was hard to see how many that there were within the general area.

Robot tore the arm off of a xenomorph as it screeched then chucked it into the head of the xenomorph that was climbing on top of him shoving it straight through the cranium and it fell back with a screech. The flame thrower erupted sending the beast away as the armless xenomorph landed on it's back screeching. The creature got up to its feet as Robot proceeded to tear apart another xenomorph limb by limb and stab each and every one of them with the other's limbs as they dog piled on them.

The xenomorphs collapsed as if they had been shot from behind as a rage of fire circled around Will and Doctor Smith. Smith kept his guard up catching the xenomorphs that were threatening to attack-there had to be easily hundreds of them-just how many people were taken? Will didn't know and neither did he. It quickly appeared that the reason why it had gone side ways was because people had came along, aware of the plot, and decided to intervene in the masses to make a point that it shouldn't be done in the first place.

"I am out of fuel!"

Smith looked up toward the sky spotting the Jupiter 2 now flying away.

"William. . ."

"Where is the Jupiter 2 going?"

"I never had a loyal friend quite like you."

"They can't be leaving us!"

"They're leaving because the only way to stop this is to nuke it."

"Nuke it?"

"Or there is one coming. . . And it's damn near impossible to extract us." It was strange to hear Smith talk this way. Completely out of the field as his tone became serious the way that he used to be a year ago. "We don't have a space pod to leave with, now do we?"

"No, we don't."

"My offer. . ." Smith held the laser pistol. "Is let me spare you."

"Then who's going to take care of Robot and you?" Will asked.

"I knew it would end with the both of us fighting against the fire of this world." Was Smith's confession. "Just not so soon."

"You didn't answer my question, Doctor Smith." Will said.

"I have a tablet ready to be swallowed and kill instantly." Smith opened his hand to reveal the pill that looked like a m and m."Never fear, Smith is here."

Will couldn't help it-he took the pill that Smith held up then collapsed. With the boy quite unconscious, instead of being quite dead, Smith took the reigns shooting down the xenomorphs and picking up arms and swinging with a roar. His uniform became tattered, torn, and burned away, thrown off, becoming familiar to the rules of the creatures bodies. The fire acted as his light using himself as a shield for the boy.

Robot and Doctor Smith slaughtered every single last one of them. By the time that they were done, Smith was on his knees, looming over the young boy, his figure covered in dirt, panting. Some of Robot was melted away, shriveled up, covered in mud from the rain that had occurred during the great battle. Smith looked up searching the sky that was brighter, waiting, expecting for a survey team. He saw shadows moving through them that were fairly human like. Or could be the last of the xenomorph. He didn't know and it scared him.

His joints ached like hell, his chest aching with all that screaming, all that fighting, his body wasn't used to doing all that after years of being off the field. He crept up to his feet picking up a arm of a slain xenomorph waiting to see who was his target as Robot wheeled forward on ahead of him with his dislocated arms dangling halfway out of his chassis looking like they were ready to fall right out. The shadows took on familiar figures that grew brighter until they were close enough to be recognized-

"Will?" Maureen cried. "Will!"

Smith sighed, relieved, then like that fell down to his knees and Robot's arms slumped.

"Doctor Smith!" Penny cried as she came to the older man's side.

"Robot!" Judy called.

"Oh. . . the pain. . . the pain. . ." Smith whined.

"Maureen! Will!" John called as he joined his wife's side.

"He is alive!" Maureen announced. "Oh my god, he is alive."

". . . Dad?"

"Hello, son."

"Am I dead?"

"No, you're very alive." John rubbed the boy's head. "We got some help watching over the Jupiter 2 for us." His voice was soft. "It's okay."

"How in the world did they survive that?" Don asked as he looked down upon the unharmed boy.

"Ripping them apart one by one for starters." John picked up a arm that Robot had yanked off in amusement.

"Doctor Smith-he is missing a arm!" Penny exclaimed as her eyes were fixated on the man's shoulder.

Maureen gasped looking toward where his arm was with the laser pistol inside. John and Don looked toward the older man who was clinging on to life, surprised, finally observing that the only thing left of his arm was that of the area above his elbow left dangling on the dirt. It was a miracle that the man hadn't died from blood loss at all.

John picked up Will's tired frame into his arms joined by Maureen at his side and returned to the Jupiter 2, the two young women getting Smith up, then quietly returned with Robot following behind them rolling over the hill of xenomorph corpses. There was some solace that a hunt didn't cause a great tragedy.

A/N and then sometime after begins the condemned of space after leaving the planet with everyone involved.

To be honest, it was kind of difficult trying to decide how this raging battle with these two would go. Who would die first? The answer in the most campiest way possible: Neither of them would as they would act as each other's shield and deflect any attack. Someone may have a different answer, perspective, view, and I actively encourage anyone who does to try their hand at this!
