Author's Note: Hi everyone, welcome to "A Cinnamon Roll Wedding". I recently finished catching up on the My Hero Academia anime and I absolutely fell in love with Izuku and Ochako, and aside from NaruHina, it is my favorite anime ship. They're just two adorable cinnamon rolls in love with each other and it's freaking adorable! I tried finding some cute fluffy fanfics about them, but much to my surprise I couldn't find too many, so I decided to try and come up with my own. I've never really written a one-shot before and I know far less about MHA than I do about Naruto so this will probably be far worse than my usual work, but I hope you all still enjoy it!

Special thanks to everyone on Reddit who helped to edit this story!

A Cinnamon Roll Wedding

It was a warm spring day in Japan. The cherry blossoms had just started to bloom and there was a nice cool breeze making sure the weather was not too hot. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and in short, it was the perfect day for a wedding

As serene as the weather was however, there were two individuals who were both absolute nervous wrecks, the two individuals in question: Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka, also known as the bride and groom.

In the Groom's Suite

"Is this tie ok, what if it's too flashy, what if makes me look like a clown or what if it makes me look funny and then when Ochako-chan sees it she starts laughing and then we mess up our vows and then what if I look stupid in all the wedding photos, should I change it, no there's no time for that and this tie was given to me by All Might it would be rude of me but what if people don't like it…" rambled a black and green-haired young man as he conetemplated the implications of the tie he had chosen to wear for the most important day of his life, constantly tying and untying it as his groomsmen watched in a mix of horror and amusement

"Midoriya, I think you are overthinking this. To be quite frank, nobody will be paying attention to you, they'll all probably be looking at Uraraka-san the entire time" spoke up a young man with half red, half white hair calmly, trying to ease his friend

"Todoroki is right, plus that tie looks super manly and All Might gave it to you which makes it even more manly" added Kirishima while also trying his best to tame his own spiky red hair with his hands

"Midoriya-kun, both Kirishima-kun and Todoroki-kun are correct, you look perfectly fine and according to my research, 89% of the guests at weddings are more fixated on the bride than the groom. Not to mention, it would be rude of you to change it at the last minute considering that it was a gift from someone whom we all admire" spoke up a bespectacled, blue-haired man as he moved his arms up and down robotically to help emphasize his point

"Ok ok, you three are right, it would be rude of me to change the tie at the last minute" conceded Izuku as he stopped fidgeting with it. "But what about these shoes, are they ok or do you think they look too big? I don't want people to think I have clown feet and if they're too big then I might trip during our first dance and ruin the day for Ochako"

Luckily before he could start rambling once more, an unruly blonde haired individual spoke up: "Wear those damn red shoes you wore all throughout highschool for all we care, just shut the hell up and grow a pair! Literally no one at this wedding came to see you so hurry things up" he half growled, half shouted

"...Bakugo-san is not wrong Midoriya. He's rather aggressive, but he's not wrong. Uraraka-san would probably still marry you if you came dressed in All Might cosplay" added Shoto once more, laughing internally when he realized his green-haired friend probably owned multiple All Might costumes

"Ok ok fine, you guys are right, everything is fine. I just really want today to be perfect for Ochako-chan" responded Izuku as he wiped his palms on his trousers

"Ok good, you seem a bit more calm now" spoke up Kirishima, choosing to ignore the fact that his friend used the word 'fine' twice in the same sentence

"Midoriya-kun, we must go take our places, I trust that we will see you out there in a few moments as well" added Iida as the four groomsmen left the suite they were in to go make sure all the last minute preparations were taken care of

Alone in the groom's suite, Izuku took a seat by his dresser and opened his phone, smiling as he saw his wallpaper, a selfie of him and Uraraka which they took on their first official date together.

"Wow, I can't believe I'm actually marrying her" he thought to himself happily, not believing how lucky he was to have someone as amazing as Ochako Uraraka in his life

His silence was only interrupted by the voice of the other most important woman in his life, "Izuku, sweetie, is everything ok?" asked a short, plump woman with matching green hair as she peeked her head through the door

"Oh, hey mom, yeah everything is great. I'm just kinda nervous, you know?" He answered, scratching his head and smiling sheepishly at her

"Well, you always did get nervous easily didn't you" responded Inko, chuckling dryly as she walked over and sat next to her son. "Remember how stressed you were when we were waiting for your UA admission results?"

Izuku let out a dry chuckle at his mother's words "Yeah, I was a mess back then, wasn't I?" He responded, cringing at the memory of his younger self. "If it wasn't for Ochako, I probably wouldn't have gotten in."

"I'm sure you would've still gotten in, but I am very happy you met her. She is an incredibly sweet girl and I can tell that you both love each other more than anyone else in the world" replied the older woman, keeping an arm around her son reassuringly.

"It's hard to describe. I just feel complete with her, but I'm so nervous that I'll mess today up and ruin it for her. She deserves the perfect wedding and what if, in all my clumsiness, I mess it up?" spoke Izuku, his voice small and timid.

"I know you do sweetie, but you need to stop worrying. I promise you that both you and Ochako will cherish this day forever, no matter how it goes" she said calmly, trying her best to ease her son's nerves

"Thanks mom, you always know what to say" he responded, giving her a quick hug.

"That's my big strong boy. Now you finish getting ready and I'll see you out there" said Inko sweetly as she stood up and walked out of the room

Meanwhile in the Bridal Suite

"I just got a text from Shoto-kun, it appears that Midoriya-san had a last minute panic attack about his tie," Momo spoke up as she read the text aloud.

She, Tsuyu, and Kyoka were all in the bridal suite helping Ochako get ready for her big day.

"Yaomomo, what are you doing? If Uraraka heard you, she'd definitely have a panic attack as well. You know how easily she gets worried, especially when it comes to Midoriya," Kyoka scolded, as she pulled the dark haired girl just out of the Uraraka's earshot

"Huh, is everything ok, why are you two whispering? Is everything ok? Is Deku-kun ok?" asked Ochako worriedly as she tried to make out what her friends were talking about

"See what I mean" whispered Jirou before speaking up more loudly, "Yeah, everything's fine and Midoriya is in perfect health, Yaomomo was just whispering to me how she wants her and Todoroki-kun's wedding to be just like this" she snickered, reassuring Ochako and causing Yaoyorozu to lightly kick her shin

"Wow really?! I didn't know you and Todoroki-kun were so serious, but then again you two are soooo cute together, you should totally get married soon, I bet you would look so pretty as a bride Yaomomo" spoke up Uraraka energetically, causing the raven-haired girl's face to turn an alarming shade of red.

"T-T-Thank you, Uraraka-san, b...but for now let's focus on you" stuttered Yaoyorozu in response.

"Are you ready for your big day Ochako-chan? Ribbit," a green haired girl spoke as she walked into the suite, carefully holding the wedding dress.

The brown-haired girl nodded eagerly in excitement as her face curled up into a wide smile. "You have no idea how excited I am Tsu-chan, I still can't believe that I'm marrying Deku-kun, I just...I just love him so much."

"You both are very sweet together, I'm sure today'll be super rocking," exclaimed Jiro excitedly as she helped Asui get the dress out of the protective cover. "Mrs. Ochako Midoriya has kind of a nice ring to it don't you think?" she added teasingly, making the bride's face turn a light shade of red

"Well, unless you want to remain as Ms. Ochako Uraraka, we need to get a move on and get you into your dress, we don't have very much time now" Momo lightly scolded.

"Yaomomo's right, Tsu-chan, why don't you help Uraraka get into the dress properly while the two of us get everything ready to finalize her makeup and hair" Responded Jirou.

"Sounds good, ribbit. Come with me Ochako-chan" spoke up the frog-like girl as she led Uraraka into the dressing room

Normally Ochako Uraraka was a very shy girl but around these three, especially Asui, she didn't have anything to be shy about. They had all been in the same class since starting at UA and had been the best of friends for the past 8 years, aside from Deku, her parents and maybe Iida, there was no one on this planet who she trusted more.

As she walked into the dressing room and saw her dress hanging in front of her, the brunette felt a surge of emotions on the verge of exploding out of her. She remembered all her times with her soon-to-be husband, from their first meeting to all their classes with each other, to the moment she knew she loved him, to the moment when he had admitted his love for her as well.

It had been during their second year at U.A. when she had gotten seriously injured by a villain during her work study. She had been in the hospital for 2 weeks and for that entire time Deku practically lived in her ICU room, only leaving to go to class, get them food or to go to her dorm and bring her a change of clothes. He kept a strong face the entire time, but as he was walking her back to the dorms after she got discharged, he broke down in front of her and said just how scared he was to lose her and how he had been in love with her since their first year.

The day after that they both had gone on their first date to an ice-skating rink and needless to say they had both been absolute nervous wrecks the entire time. Ochacko giggled a little bit at the memory of her and Deku falling over and over again on the ice until it basically forced them to hold hands to stay upright. Her heart was so full in this moment and she was practically counting the seconds till she walked down the aisle.

"Is everything ok, Ochako-chan?" asked Asui as she noticed her friend zone out for a few moments

"Huh, o-oh y...yeah, everything is fine, why wouldn't it be fine, I totally wasn't thinking about Deku-kun or anything" answered the brunette as she snapped back to reality, flustered and red-faced.

"Well we should get you into this dress, so let's hurry up. Ribbit"

After a few minutes of carefully trying to get the brunette into her dress, Tsuyu walked out of the dressing room proudly.

"Now officially introducing our bride Ochako Uraraka, ribbit," she said proudly as the brunette emerged from the dressing room in her wedding gown.

"Oh my goodness you look like a princess! Midoriya-san is a very lucky man!" Yaoyoruzu gushed.

"With a bride like you, this wedding is going to be super rocking" agreed Jiro as she admired how gorgeous her friend looked.

"Alright, now back to business. Luckily you have an extremely cute face and don't need any makeup, but everyone knows that Midoriya-san loves your pink cheeks so let's just put a little bit of this on you" spoke up the raven-haired girl once more as she very carefully used her blush brush to lightly touch-up Uraraka's naturally beautiful cheeks, making the pink in them slightly more prominent

"Yaomomo, Tsu-chan, Jiro-chan, thank you all so much. I couldn't have asked for better bridesmaids and friends than you three" said Uraraka smiling, trying her best not to wrap all three of them into a hug, a surefire way to mess up the dress

"You don't need to thank us, we would all do anything for you. You're one of our best friends in the whole world" said the purple haired girl happily as the two others nodded in agreement.

"I know it's almost time for the wedding to start but we have one more thing for you. Ribbit" said Asui as she took out a small, ornate wooden box and handed it to Uraraka

"It's a hair-clip, Yaomomo made it especially for you," explained Jiro as the brunette opened the box.

"It's so pretty, did you really make this?!" exclaimed Ochako as she very carefully took it out and examined it. It was a small, extremely intricately designed hair pin shaped like a rose which sparkled lightly when she held it up to the light.

"Hey, the color kinda reminds me of…" whispered Uraraka to herself as her three friends all smirked at each other, hoping the boys didn't mess up their end of the plan

Back with the groom

"Midoriya are you ready to get going?" asked Shoto as he knocked on the door to the groom's suite.

"Oh yup, I think I'm ready. I'm much more calm now, thanks to my mom" responded the green and black-haired groom as he stood up and smiled at his 4 groomsmen.

He was dressed in a well tailored black suit with emerald trimming along the side matching his hair. He had a crisp white button down shirt, a green pocket square which matched the trimming on the suit, and a red, blue and yellow tie which had been gifted to him by the symbol of peace.

"Perfect, now all you need is this," Kirishima suggested as he handed Izuku a small, wooden box, "It'll make you look even more manly."

"Huh? What's this?" asked Izuku curiously as he slowly opened the box and saw a small, rose-shaped lapel pin. "Wow this looks so beautiful" he whispered under his breath as he fixed it to his lapel, completing his outfit.

"If you ladies are done, can we get going?" Bakugo snarled from the hallway

"Yeah, let's get going. time to get married to the love of my life" proclaimed Izuku as he smiled softly and walked out of the suite, taking the literal first steps towards married life.

"Hey Iida-kun, don't the colors of this lapel pin remind you of…" Izuku trailed off, causing the bespectacled young man to smirk and readjust his glasses.

The wedding itself was taking place on the roof of one of the most chic hotels in all of Japan. It was late afternoon and the weather was just warm enough so you wouldn't need to wear multiple layers, but not so hot that the guests would be stuffy and uncomfortable in their clothes. The roof had been decorated with various flowers and plants giving it a rustic and cozy feel. There were two sides of seating with an aisle littered with white and red rose petals separating them.

The entire venue had been packed to the brim with guests from all over Japan coming to see the wedding of 2 of Japan's top heroes. On one side of the aisle were Uraraka's parents and family as well as a few of their friends such as Tamaki, Nejire, Mina and a few of their former teachers and current colleagues such as Aizawa-sensei, Thirteen, Principal Nezu and Midnight amongst others. On the other side was Izuku's mom (trying her best not to cry before the wedding started), Eri, Mirio, Denki, Tokoyami and the Todorki siblings plus their mother amidst a sea of their other friends, family, colleagues and loved ones.

The altar itself was decorated with an intricate arch made of various different white flowers, perfectly framing the sun and skyline behind them. On the right hand side stood Izuku and his groomsmen, anxiously waiting to see his bride.

"Young Midoriya, you must calm down, everyone can see you," whispered All Might, standing in the middle of the altar in his trademark two-piece, striped, yellow suit. After one too many bottles of sake, he had told everyone that he would be the one to officiate the wedding and for better or for worse, he had been held to that promise.

"Yaomomo, Tsu-chan, it looks like the boys were able to complete their part of the plan" whispered Jirou from the opposite side of the altar, noticing that the rose-shaped pin which Momo had also made was now securely fastened on the groom's lapel.

Before the bridesmaids could whisper any more or the groom could start anxiously fidgeting with his tie, the sound of a piano filled the air with the melody they had all been waiting for.

All heads immediately turned to the end of the aisle as Uraraka emerged in a gorgeous A-Line, sleeveless wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and a long veil which flowed right behind her. It wasn't a very fancy dress but it framed her perfectly and made her look the perfect mixture of drop-dead gorgeous and impossibly cute.

As she slowly walked down the aisle with her father, it took every ounce of willpower to not simply run down the aisle and give her soon-to-be husband a hug and a kiss as she saw how cute and handsome he looked in his suit

"She's so beautiful," whispered Izuku to himself as he watched her slowly walk towards him, counting the steps until they would be joined together as husband and wife.

As she approached the altar and stood next to him, they both blushed in awe of how amazing the other looked, taking a moment to smile and admire one another. Izuku's eyes darted all over her face, trying to permanently save the image of how beautiful she looked into his memory as he took notice of a green colored rose-shaped pin in her hair which reminded him of his own hero costume.

Uraraka smiled at how handsome her soon-to-be husband looked in his wedding suit, giggling slightly as she saw how perfectly the green trimmings matched his hair and how his tie reminded her suspiciously of a certain symbol of peace whom he was obsessed with before taking notice of the pin on his lapel: an intricate pink rose with black accents which not only matched how her hair pin looked but also reminded her of her own hero costume.

Their moment was only interrupted by All Might who was preparing to officiate the ceremony. "Are you both ready or do you need a moment?" he whispered as he leaned closer to them, smirking as he saw how red both of their faces instantly turned

"W...We're re-ready All Might" they both stuttered, making him chuckle

"Then without further ado, let us begin!" he exclaimed, flexing all his muscles to enter his muscular form, shocking all in attendance, especially his green and black-haired protege

"Glad to know those 4 months of training were worth it" he thought to himself before facing the audience.

"Welcome family, friends and loved ones. We are all gathered here on this joyous day to celebrate the union of Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka. Many of you have known them for a very long time and have seen their love story bloom from shy classmates to shy friends to shy boyfriend and girlfriend and now what I am sure will be shy husband and wife" he boomed, making many of the guests in attendance chuckle at their many memories of how cutely flustered the bride and groom always got around each other.

"Young Midoriya, Young Uraraka, you are two of the strongest and most caring people who I have ever had the pleasure of not only calling my students but also my friends. I have witnessed first hand both your love for each other and the ferocity with which you will protect each other. You have faced countless villains together and through the power of your bond have always emerged victorious and I have no doubt that marriage will not be any different"

"You both are embarking on the most wonderful journey of your lives. From now on you will be one and will share not only your last name, and your home, but also your hearts and your souls and it is my great honor to help start your journey into married life."

"Now, if you will both join hands, let us begin. I understand that you both have prepared your own vows?" he asked, to which they nodded yes

"Splendid! Now then, Young Uraraka, would you like to go first?"

Ochako took a deep breath to calm her nerves before looking up at her soon to be husband and smiling. "Deku-kun, I...I still can't believe that I am standing here with you today. Ever since the U.A. entrance exam, I've fallen in love with your passion, willingness to help others and your adorable freckles. But little did I know, that was just the tip of the iceberg: The more time I spent with you, the deeper I fell in love. You always know what to say and you've always been my number one fan, even on the days when I didn't believe in myself. When I'm sick, you take care of me, when I'm sad you give me a hug, when I accomplish something big you clap the loudest and whenever I think of you, I feel complete. I know that whatever life throws our way, we will be able to overcome it because, well, you're my best friend, my hero and now my husband. I love you more than anything else and I promise to always be your safe haven in the many many years to come"

The entire time Uraraka spoke, Deku's face was curled into a Cheshire-like smile and he had to fight the strongest urge to cry that he'd ever had in his life. As the brunette finished her vows, he took a deep breath and started his. "W-Wow, that, that was a-a-amazing. I have no clue how I'm gonna follow something as amazing as that but I'm gonna try my best."

"Ochako-chan, since I woke up this morning I've been counting the minutes until I would be standing up here on this altar with you. I thought I had everything prepared and planned out in my head, but the moment I saw you in your wedding dress, you took my breath away. You've always had that effect on me, no matter how much I mumble or stutter, you've always known how to leave me speechless. Your positivity and support is the reason that I am standing here with you today and much like your quirk, you've always been able to lift me up higher than I ever thought possible. Back before we had to pick our hero names, I thought Deku would always mean useless. You were the one who turned my whole world around and told me that my Deku meant 'you can do it'. Ever since then, I've been striving to do my best and make you proud. I love you more than anything else in this world and a small part of me still thinks I'm dreaming because never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I would be able to make someone as amazing and strong as you my wife. You're my best friend, you're my number one supporter, you're the love of my life and you are my heart and home. I promise to spend the rest of my days showing you just how much you mean to me."

"...Young Midoriya, Young Uraraka, that...that was beautiful" All Might sobbed with joy as he tried to compose himself so that he could finish officially marrying his two former students. "Now, if you would please take the rings" he said as both Uraraka and Izuku were handed their wedding rings by Tsuyu and Iida respectively.

"Young Midoriya, take Young Uraraka's ring and place it on her finger and repeat after me...with this ring I promise to join my soul with yours and love and cherish you forever"

"Ochako-chan, with this ring I promise to join my soul with yours and love and cherish you forever" Izuku smiled as he slowly slid the elegant golden ring onto her finger

"Now, Young Uraraka, take Young Midoriya's ring and place it on his finger and repeat after me...with this ring I promise to join my soul with yours and love and cherish you forever"

Ochako smiled brightly and took Izuku's hand in her own, "Deku-kun, with this ring I promise to join my soul with yours and love and cherish you forever" she said softly as she slid the matching ring onto his ring finger.

"With the promises and rings you both have exchanged today you have strengthened your love beyond measure. With the power vested in me, it is my absolute honor to pronounce you as husband and wife!" boomed All Might ecstatically, "You may now kiss each other."

Without having to be told twice, Izuku gently wrapped his arms around his wife and pulled her close before gently moving his lips down to meet hers. "Ochako-chan, we finally did it" he whispered softly just as their lips made contact and they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, feeling the entire world around them melt away as they enjoyed each other's loving embrace.

"Everyone please give it up for Mr. and Mrs. Midoriya!"

Author's Note: Welcome to the end of this short story, I hope you all enjoyed it! I know some of the grammar may have been off and the characters may have been a bit OOC but it is 3 am and I really wanted to take the idea I had and post it. I have some more ideas for IzuOcha stories (maybe even a potential sequel to this), so if that is something you all would like to see please let me know in the comments. Also if there is anything else you liked, loved, disliked, hated or anything in between please feel free to leave a review; I absolutely love hearing what people think and it makes the writing process so much more gratifying.

All that being said I hope you'll stay safe and I'll see ya soon! : )

P.S. To anyone who follows my normal NaruHina stories, I started working on Our Swing Chapter 3. I'm about 3000 words deep so I'm gonna try and grind that out as well. I kept on trying to write it but I always ended up getting distracted by this IzuOcha wedding idea so now that it's out of my system I should be able to refocus on that, thank you all so much for being so patient with me, hopefully this partially makes up for the delay if you're a fellow IzuOcha and MHA fan!
