Hai, Hibiki here! I'm new to this platform and posting my story. I am obsessed with Prince of Tennis, especially Tezuka!
I don't own PoT, it belongs to Takeshi Konomi!

My OC belongs to me though!

~Flashbacks from the Past~

"Do we really have to honey? You know she'll be devasted hearing this," a women with dark brown hair spoke, her bright blue eyes filled with worry.

"What can we do? My work transferred me to the United Kingdom, I can't change their mind, you know this…" a man, much taller than the woman, spoke, his emerald green eyes full off sadness.

"What are you guys talking about?" A girl, around 7 years old, asked, her bright blue curious eyes, looking up at the two adults. The man patted her dark blue hair, smiling down at her.

"Nothing love, why don't you go and play outside for a bit? Me and your mama have to discuss some things, okay?" He spoke, the girl nodded without a second thought, she padded outside their front garden grabbing a stick on the side and began using it as a sword. As the girl used the stick to slash and hit the air, a boy stopped in front of their gates, he stared and made eye contact with the girl.

"Who are you?" The girl asked, stopping her actions and walked towards the gate. The boy stood there, his face didn't show any sign of emotion. The girl tilted her head and lifted her eyebrows up, confused.

"Can you not talk? Are you mute?" She continued asking, wanting to get a reply and the boy coughed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to stare. I'm Tezuka Kunimitsu, I live near here, what about you?" He asked, facing fully towards the dark haired girl.

"Ado Hibiki, nice to meet you, Tezuka-san," the girl replied, bowing and the boy was taken aback, but bowed slightly non the less.

"Would you like to play with me? My parents are talking about something important," she asked, opening the gate for him and he hesitated, looking ahead of him and to the gate, back and forth.

"If you can't, that's fine too," the girl reassured but he shook his head and headed past the gate. The girl picked up another stick and handed it to the boy.

"Fight me, like we're samurais," the girl pointed the stick at him and he held his stick awkwardly, not really know what to do. Hibiki dashed forward, her pony-tail flying behind her and the boy dodged, a little taken aback by the attack. It was like that, her attacking and him dodging as he didn't know what he was meant to do. The girl started to get frustrated, but before she could strike, her parents came out.

"Hibiki? Whose your playmate?" Her mother asked, walking out.

"Tezuka Kunimitsu," the boy bowed, his glasses slipping from his nose but he pushed it back up.

"Ah, you're Kuniharu's son," Hibiki's father greeted, smiling at the boy.

"Hibiki dear, why didn't you let us know you had a play mate? Would you like to have some snacks?" Her mother asked, looking at the boy.

"I… I should be getting home, thank you for the time," he stammered, running away with his stick. The girl went to stop him but it was too late, he was gone.

"Mama… papa…" she spoke, her eyes looking at them both, "I won't see him again will I?" she asked, her smile sad, knowing the conversation her parents had whilst eavesdropping. Despite asking what they were talking about, she knew. The two adults looked at each other, their eyes full of sadness. Ever since that statement, both the adults made sure she would spend as much time with Tezuka as possible. Both parents of the kids made arrangements for them to see each other often until the time for the Ado family to move out came around. The parting between the kids was devastating, but they didn't cry. They looked at each other, intently staring and when Hibiki turned around, she scrunched up her skirt.

"Don't forget about how I look, I'll make sure to come back and we can play again," she whispered and with that she ran inside. Tezuka went to stop her but his hand was mid-air before he dropped it.

"I don't think I'd forget how you look…" Tezuka whispered back.

What do you think? Please let me know, thank you!
