"Please tell me one of you have seen the new transfer student?" Jeff said bouncing through the common room doors.
"No we have not Jeffery." Wesley said lifting his head from the book he was reading.
"He's so fucking cute." Jeff said grinning.
Jeff made his way over to his boyfriend and sat himself down on his lap and placed a hand on his hand.
"Hey baby." Nick said grinning as he placed a kiss to his neck.
"Stop it you." Jeff said giggling as he playfully pushed him boyfriend away.
"You guys are sickening." David said smiling at them.
"Thanks cutie." Jeff said turning to him and smiling.
"The new transfer student is here?" Blaine said as he made his way through the doors.
"Oh my god Blaine he's totally your type!" Jeff said excitedly and Blaine let out a laugh.
"Jeff." Blaine said sternly.
"Blaine wait till you see him honestly, it's like he's been caved by angels." Jeff said grinning ear to ear.
"Baby we haven't even met him yet." Nick said laughing and Jeff just rolled his eyes.
"He's going to be my new bestie!" Jeff said excitedly hugging his boyfriend.
"He's not a play toy Jeffery." Wes said bluntly.
"Oh lighten up will you! Why do you have to be so morbid all the time?" Jeff said rolling his eyes.
They all laughed and Wes just looked and him and smirked before turning his head back down to the book.
"Mr Alexander mentioned he was bringing him here so make sure nothing is out of place." Wes said keeping his eyes on his book.
"Oh shit really? Jesus." Jeff said standing up and looking around the room.
"Can anyone see any blood bags?" Jeff added and they all stood up and started to make sure everything was in place.
They heard voices and Jeff grinned.
"How are you feeling Kurt?" Mr Alexander said turning to the boy.
"Okay I guess." Kurt said politely.
"His voice is beautiful." Blaine said turning to Jeff.
"Wait till you see his face." Jeff said giggling.
"If you ever want to talk I'm here for you." Mr Alexander said smiling.
"Thank you but I think my psychiatrist has that covered Mr Alexander."
He let out a laugh and so did Kurt. They wasn't anywhere near the common room yet but Kurt felt his heart pounding.
"You're funny and you have brains. I think you'll be just fine here Kurt."
"Damn." David let out a laugh.
"He's quick." Nick said smirking.
"Did you hear his laugh?" Blaine said grinning.
"Wes, I think you both are going to clash big time." David said smirking at his best friend.
"We will see." Wes said smirking back.
"Do you sing Kurt? You have a very beautiful voice." Mr Alexander said turning his head towards him.
"If cracking windows and making babies cry called singing them I'm a professional." Kurt shot back and Mr Alexander threw his head back in laugher.
"Oh you are definitely going to clash." Jeff said turning towards Wes.
"He's fucking hysterical." Nick said laughing and they all nodded.
Wes didn't say nothing, he just rolled his eyes and smiled. He was a funny kid but Wes didn't want to admit that.
"Are you always like this or is it the nerves?" Mr Alexander said as he tried to control his laugher.
"I am nervous but yes I am always like this. I don't really have a filter." Kurt said smiling.
"You're going to be fine. Being nervous is natural. You will love it here." Mr Alexander said confidently.
"Can I ask where we are going?" Kurt questioned.
"We are going to the Warblers common room. It's the schools shore choir group. I think you're going to get on really well with the group of boys."
"The show choir is named after birds?" Kurt questioned and Mr Alexander chuckled.
"I'm surprised that you knew it was a bird. Most people don't click on straight away." Mr Alexander said smiling.
"There is over four hundred species." Kurt said smiling and Mr Alexander looked at him shock.
"I didn't know that."
"You learn something new everyday."
"I love him already." Nick said turning towards them.
"Isn't he great?" Jeff said and Nick laughed and nodded.
"I'll give him a point for knowing that." Wes said lifting his gaze.
"That's crazy he knew that." Blaine said and they all nodded and grinned.
"He's a smart kid." David said leaning back and placing his coffee to his lips.
"Know any other crazy facts?" Mr Alexander said laughing.
"You know a bolt of lightening contains enough energy to toast one hundred thousand slices of bread?"
Mr Alexander stopped and placed a hand on the wall as the laugher rippled through his body and Kurt joined in.
"Oh I definitely love him." Nick said laughing kissing his boyfriend.
"You know the inventor of the frisbee was turned into a frisbee when he died?" Kurt said laughing and Mr Alexander laughed even harder.
"Don't fall to quickly Blainers." Nick said tilting his head as he watched his friend smile.
"Don't be stupid you." Blaine said laughing.
"Please say one more before we get to the common room but please, something that's not remotely funny. I can't feel my mouth." Mr Alexander said as the laughter just fell from his mouth.
"You know blood banks in Sweden? They notify donors when their blood is used to help save a life." Kurt said and Mr Alexander stopped and smirked.
"You don't say?"
"Yeah. Petty cool right?" Kurt said laughing and Mr Alexander turned and smirked as they nearly got to the common room.
"How fucking freaky is that?" Jeff said in shock.
"Fuck do you think he knows?" David whispered
"Of course he doesn't know. It's just a coincidence." Wes said shaking his head.
"Damn that's some coincidence Wes." Blaine said turning to him.
"You're telling me man." Nick said shocked
And then there was a knock on the door and it opened. They all stood up and lifted their gaze.

Blaine laid eyes on him. He was beautiful. His eyes dropped to the floor as they walked over. Blaine could see he licked his lips nervously and Mr Alexander walked right up to Blaine.
"I would all like you to meet our new transfer student Kurt Hummel. He's going to be boarding in your wing." Mr Alexander said smiling and they all nodded.
Kurt could feel someone standing in front of him so he lifted his gaze. Blaine smiled and they all heard his heart race pick up, it was ponding out of his chest.
"Hi." Kurt said shyly as a faint blush appeared on his face.
Blaine couldn't get his words out. His eyes was piecing through his soul. The bluest eyes he had ever seen. He was so thankful for Jeffery.
"Hey Kurt! My names Jeff it's lovely to meet you!" Jeff said excitedly.
Kurt smiled and Blaine thought his heart was going to melt. They could see Kurt's body relax a little at Jeff's voice.
"It nice to meet you too." Kurt said with the smile still on his face.
"Oh god can I hug you?" Jeff said softly.
"Jeffery." Mr Alexander said laughing.
"Okay." Kurt said softly back.
Kurt closed the gap and wrapped his arm around him and Jeff squealed and quickly returned it. They could see Kurt tense at the contact but as soon as Jeff wrapped his arms around him he relaxed completely into it. Kurt pulled back and Jeff grinned.
"We are going to be best friends." Jeff said excitedly.
"I'll only be your friend if you tell me how you got your hands on them shoes." Kurt said bluntly and Jeff let out a laugh and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I love you already." Jeff said and he pulled him in for a quick hug and then Nick stood up.
"It's nice to meet you man. I'm Nick. Jeff's boyfriend." Nick said grinning and Kurt nodded.
"Do you want a hug too or we just gonna stand here awkwardly." Kurt said with laugh nervously laugh and Nick chuckled and stepped forwards and hugged him. He could smell the fear leaving his body and it made him feel good. They pulled back and smiled before David stepped in.
"It's David man. How you liking it here for far?" David said smiling and he smiled back.
"It's like Hogwarts, minus the flying broomsticks." Kurt said and David let out a howl of laugher and shook his head and brought him into a hug.
Blaine chuckled. He fucking loves Harry Potter. They all knew that. Blaine knew he had to just step up. He didn't want him to think he didn't like him. David let go and stood back.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you. I'm Blaine." Blaine said smiling and Kurt smiled back.
"It's nice to meet you Blaine." Kurt said quickly and he smiled again.
Blaine stepped in for the a hug and Kurt wrapped his arms round him, they all heard the heart beat again. Bouncing around him chest. That wasn't because he was scared. Blaine could hear it too and he grinned and pulled away and then Wes walked over.
"Wes." Wes said holding out his hand.
"Very formal aren't you?" Kurt said bluntly reaching over for his hand and shaking it.
The others was trying to contain their laugher. This was going to be so fucking good they thought.
"Yes." Wes said bluntly and Kurt rolled his eyes and they all lifted a hand to their mouths.
"Hand shake was pretty weak. Would of preferred a hug." Kurt said glancing at him.
"I don't hug people I don't know. Not into that." Wes shot back.
"That's a shame Welsey, I give amazing hugs." Kurt shot back bored.
They all turned to eachother in shock.
"How unfortunate Kurtis." Wes said bluntly.
The tension was thick and Mr Alexander could sense it. He tried so hard to contain his laugher.
"Okay, why don't I take you to your room Kurt?" Mr Alexander.
"Oh god yeah please." Kurt said glancing towards Wes and Wes rolled his eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes too much Welsey, you might loose them." Kurt said smirking before turning around and walking out.
The door got shut and they all cracked up laughing.
"Oh my fucking god." Jeff balled out as he fell to the floor trying to stop the laughter.
"No fucking way!" Nick said throwing his head back laughing.
"I don't like him." Wes said glaring at the door.
"Oh Wes he got you big time then man. You need to be quicker." David said laughing and patted him on the back and Wes just shook his head and glared at his best friend.
"Damn." Blaine said looking at the door.
"This is going to be an eventual year." Jeff said grinning.
Mr Alexander had gave him a beautiful tour. He had left to give Kurt some time to settle in and Kurt was laying down on his bed. He hated being left alone because it left him alone with his thoughts and it scared him. They danced around his mind and he had nowhere to run. The others could hear Kurt's heartbeat pick up but they knew he wasn't moving. They started to hear some of his thoughts. They had the ability to do that but only if someone was vulnerable enough.
Please someone knock on the door.

Jeff bit his lip and stood up.
"I'm going to see if he's okay." Jeff said smiling before lifting himself off the sofa and making his way to his room.
"Okay baby." Nick said smiling at him. His boyfriend was so caring.
"He doesn't sound okay." Blaine said licking his lips and turning to Nick.
Nick stood up and made his way over to Blaine and sat himself down next to him and leaning into his shoulder.
"We don't know why he's transferred Blaine. I think the whole being strong and confident is a coping mechanism." Nick said softly and Blaine nodded.
"He sounds really sad." David said and they all nodded.
"Wes?" David said turning to his friend.
"Yes?" Wes said turning towards him.
"You wanna give your input or?" David added.
"He's new. He'll get use to it." Wes said turning towards him book.
They all rolled their eyes and looked at Wes. He was very very closed off. He always had been since he came to Dalton. He hardly ever let anyone know his feeling apart from David but even then it was pretty closed off still.
Jeff knocked on the door and waited. He really liked Kurt. He had the same energy has he did and he really hoped they could be friends. Kurt opened the door and smiled and he looked relieved.
"Hey bestie! Can I come in?" Jeff said sweetly and Kurt nodded and stood back.
"Of course you can." Kurt said kindly and Jeff smiled and walked in.
"How you feeling?" Jeff said as he sat down on the sofa.
"Okay." Kurt said nodding.
"You sure?" Jeff said tilting his head.
"I don't really know." Kurt said truthfully.
Jeff nodded in understanding and patted the sofa and Kurt laughed and walked over and sat down. Jeff turned his body round to face him and so did Kurt.
"It's going to be hard at first. New school, knew faces, new surroundings but I promise it'll get better." Jeff said softly and Kurt smiled.
"Thank you. I'll be okay." Kurt said grinning but Jeff could see he was forcing it.
"Are you always like this Kurtie?" Jeff said smirking.
Kurt choked out a laugh and Jeff started laughing too. Kurt leaned his head back on the sofa and turned the head.
"Nickname huh?" Kurt said rolling his eyes.
"You like it?" Jeff said smirking back.
"Nope."
Jeff let out a laugh and placed a hand on Kurt and Kurt could feel himself relax already.
"Tough." Jeff said smirking.
"Okay Jeffery." Kurt shot back and Jeff ran his hands down his face in annoyance.
"You like it?" Kurt said smirking.
"Nope."
They started laughing again and Kurt could feel himself lowering his guard. Jeff was really nice.

Jeff smiled as he heard his thoughts. Kurt was letting him in. They carried on talking and Jeff could hear other thoughts too.
Please don't ask why I transferred.
"So Kurtie, You have family?" Jeff said smiling.
He wasn't going to ask about the transfer. He wouldn't dare push it after hearing his thoughts. He seen Kurt beam a smile and turn to him.
"Dad." Kurt said grinning.
"You close to daddy Hummel?" Jeff said and Kurt threw his head back laughing.
"Very close." Kurt said turning towards him.
"Mom?" Jeff asked and then he seen sadness in his eyes.
"She died when I was young. Cancer." Kurt said and Jeff nodded.
"I'm sorry sweetie."
Kurt smiled and nodded.
"Dad has a girlfriend, Carol." Kurt replied smiling.
"You get on with her?" Jeff said leaning into the sofa and Kurt nodded.
"She's amazing. I'm glad my dad has her." Kurt said turning towards him.
"Brothers or sisters?" Jeff asked and Kurt laughed.
"Carol's son, Finn. He's a year younger." Kurt said and Jeff could see him tense.
"Do you get along?"
"Nah." Kurt said shaking his head.
"Can I ask why?" Jeff said and Kurt turned his head.
"I'm gay." Kurt said as he started to tapping on his knee.
"Asshole." Jeff said nodding and Kurt ran a hand over his face.
"We don't talk. We hardly even make contact. He doesn't even class us as brothers." Kurt added staring at his knee.
"Do you class him as your brother?" Jeff asked softly.
"I do but I would never tell him that. I don't want to push him into anything. He's not ready and I'm okay with that." Kurt said smiling.
"You're very sweet." Jeff said smiling at him.
Jeff could see the blush rise on his face and it was adorable. He looked down at his fingers tapping away. He noticed he was doing that earlier when he walked into the room. Coping mechanism. Kurt let out a nervous laugh.
"Thanks."
"You don't take compliments well do you?" Jeff said sadly.
"I don't get them so I'm not use to them and anyway, I wouldn't believe them." Kurt said bluntly as his fingers tapped harder against his leg.
"Kurt, look at me." Jeff whispered and Kurt continued to tap his fingers against his leg.
"Kurt, please look at me." Jeff said again and Kurt snapped his head up.
"Sorry, I don't know where I went then." Kurt said laughing softly.
"It's okay." Jeff said sweetly.
"The tapping sweetie, why do you do that?" Jeff asked leaning his head into his palm.
"I've always done it. I don't really know why." Kurt answered truthfully.
"You're counting too." Jeff added and Kurt nodded.
"It's not ocd I've already been checked for that." Kurt said laughing and Jeff laughed too.
"I count to ten, I breathe. I count again, I breathe. I do it over and over again until I can breathe on my own without telling myself to breathe." Kurt whispered and then laughed.
"It's sound stup-
"No it doesn't sweetie, I get it." Jeff said smiling.
"I've did it for so long now and it's just a habit. I don't even know I'm doing it half the time until someone mentions it." Kurt said laughing and Jeff laughed too.
"It's cute."
Kurt cleared his throat and started to blush again. Kurt turned towards him.
"Why are you being so nice to me?"
Jeff swallowed and leaned his head against the sofa to match him.
"Why wouldn't I be nice to you?
Kurt licked his lips nervously and looked away but Jeff leaned over and pulled his face back.
"I just."
Kurt laughed and his tapping became more heavier and Jeff glanced to his leg and glanced back.
"You don't know me."
Jeff smiled sadly and leaned in a little closer and placed a hand on him.
"I don't need to know you to be nice to you Kurt. I want to get to know you."
Kurt swallowed and he felt himself tear up a little. The tapping was quicker now and he shut his eyes.
"Sorry."
Jeff reached over and placed a hand on his to stop him from hurting himself. Kurt turned his head back.
"You've got nothing to be sorry for Kurt."
Kurt smiled and nodded and closed his eyes again.
"Your friends. Close to them?" Kurt said opening his eyes to meet Jeff's.
"Really close. They're amazing people." Jeff said grinning and Kurt grinned back.
"You?" Jeff said leaning in closer.
"I did pre transfer." Kurt said as his glanced dropped a little.
"They haven't spoken to me to yet." Kurt added.
"How long has it been?" Jeff asked.
"Two months." Kurt said as his tapping started again but Jeff held it firmer.
"It's their loss." Jeff whispered
"Yeah. I'm fucking great." Kurt spat out and Jeff starting laughing and it made Kurt laugh too.
They all listened to their conversation. Kurt was relaxing pretty easily with Jeff and they smiled.
"He seems like he's in a bad place." Nick said and Blaine nodded.
"We will fix it." Blaine said softly and Nick kissed him on the cheek.
"We shouldn't be listening in." Wes added sitting down next to them.
"I know man but how else will we find out if he's okay?" David said softly and Wes nodded.
"How long have you and Nick been dating?" Kurt questioned and Jeff smiled.
"We have always been friends but we never started dating until a year ago." Jeff said grinning and Kurt grinned back.
"That's really nice." Kurt said smiling closing his eyes.
"You?" Jeff said as he kept a grip on his hand.
"I don't need a man." Kurt said playfully and Jeff laughed and rolled his eyes.
"No, no boyfriend." Kurt said smiling and Jeff nodded.
"Is Wesley always like that?" Kurt said and Jeff let out another laugher.
"He hates being called Welsey."
"I hate being called Kurtis so I guess it's win win."
Jeff smirked and leaned forward. He really like him. He was so kind.
"Has he always been like what?" Jeff said grinning.
"Uptight."
Jeff threw his head back and and laughed and Kurt rolled his eyes.
"Oh yeah. He's a really good guy Kurt. He's just hard to crack." Jeff said smiling and Kurt nodded.
"I kinda feel a little bad for how I spoke to him." Kurt said closing his eyes.
"Don't be Kurt. It's how you are and it's how he is. You're most definitely going to clash." Jeff said softly and Kurt nodded.
"I'll crack him." Kurt said laughing and Jeff laughed again.
"Trust me sweetie we have been trying for a very long time." Jeff said laughing.
"He looks sad." Kurt said turning towards him.
"In what way?" Jeff said softly.
"The way I look." Kurt said smiling.
"What way is that?" Jeff questioned.
"Empty." Kurt said softly.
Jeff didn't know what to say. He could tell Kurt had never opened up like this before to anyone. He wanted to hold him forever and tell him he was going to be okay.
"I shouldn't be talking about him. His ears will be burning." Kurt said smirking and Jeff laughed.
"It's good to talk Kurt. We can talk about them if you want too? It'll give you a chance to get to know them." Jeff said smiling and he nodded.
"He looked lost, burnt out like he was running from something that wasn't chasing him. His body portrayed life but his eyes portrayed death." Kurt whispered
"Jesus that was deep, fucking hell kurt." kurt said laughing out.
Jeff licked his lips. He was seeing things in a few seconds that they hadn't never seen. It was beautiful in a dark and twisted way. He choked out a laugher when he heard him talk to himself. He was quit the character. He seem to be able to read people very easy.
They all turned to Wes who still had his face in his book. They seen his grip her tighter.
"How does he know that?" Wes said bluntly
"God man I don't know." David said leaning over and landing a hand on his arm.
"Are you okay Wes?" blaine said softly and Wes only nodded.
"What about Nick?" Jeff said smiling.
"He's the same." Kurt said nodding.
Jeff was taken back. He could tell Nick was suffering and there was no indication of it. He recognised it and it scared him.
"How so sweetie?" Jeff whispered
"When he hugged me he tensed. He didn't like giving physical contact to people who he's not close with. Tortured mind, tortured soul." Kurt said softly.
Jeff couldn't believe it. He knew the others was hearing and he wanted them too. Kurt could read them so easily and it did scare him. Kurt could see it and recognise it and he hoped to god it wasn't for the reason he thought.
"Jesus." Nick said swallowing.
"Fuck me he's deep." Blaine said they all nodded.
"He's so funny and light but then he twists and becomes someone else." David said.
"People do that." Wes said shrugging
"And me?" Jeff said with a smile.
"You like contact, you crave it. It makes you feel happy when you make other people happy. Your kindness consumes people like a comfort blanket." Kurt said turning to him again and smiling.
"Fucking hell." Jeff said turning his head away and swallowing. He started to get emotion at his words. Fuck he's so fucking good with words.
"Jeffery." Kurt said softly
"Fuck." Jeff said laughing.
"Jeffery, look at me."
Kurt was using the same words as before. He laughed as he felt his eyes water but he turned his head.
"Your kindness is a gift and I'm so grateful for it."
"Jesus fucking Christ." Jeff said as he placed a hand over his face.
"Sorry, I'm an emotional fucking wreck." Kurt said softly. He hesitantly reached over and placed a hand on his free hand.
"Has anyone told you that you're really good with words?" Jeff said nodding as a tear escape his eye.
"Stop crying please oh no." Kurt said blowing air out and looking away as he felt tears too.
"Don't worry, I'm a fucking emotional wreck too." Jeff said as another tear fell.
He closed his eyes and turned to Kurt. He was the same. They was both emotional people. Kurt turned to him and clearing his throat.
"Damn that did go from zero to hundred." David to Blaine and Blaine nodded.
"He does have a way with words, they just fall from his mouth so easily." Nick said smiling
"David and Wesley are close?" Kurt asked and Jeff laughed.
"How did you know?"
"David was laughing at me and Wesley but he looked concerned. They was sitting together when I walked in." Kurt said smiling.
"You're very observant."
"I don't miss a trick. It's a curse." Kurt said laughing and Jeff nodded in agreement.
David and Wes turned to eachother and David blew him a kiss and Wes just groaned.
"Please stop right now." Wes said glaring and David just started to laugh harder.
"And Blaine?" Jeff said smiling
Kurt started to blush and he licked his lips nervously.
"He's a good looking guy." Kurt said bluntly and Jeff let out another laughter and he joined his hands with Kurt and Kurt blushed harder at the contact and turned to him and smiled.
"He's very nice looking." Jeff said smirking.
Blaine laughed nervously and they all turned to him grinning.
"You got a thing for Hummel?" Wes said smirking
"Don't you?" Blaine said smirking back
"I'm straight Blaine." Wes said rolling his eyes
"Come on, you can't say he's not beautiful." Nick said grinning
"I didn't say he wasn't beautiful, I just said I wasn't into him." Wes said glancing at them.
"So you think he's beautiful?" David said leaning over to him and nudging him.
"You're all like teenage girls." Wes said laughing
"What's with the ring on his finger? Looks like something from pre historic times." Kurt said changing the subject and Jeff giggled.
"It's an inside joke. We all have them." Jeff said lifting his up to show Kurt.
Kurt leaned forward and touched his hand to have a better look. Jeff's was smaller and it looked very expensive.
"Oooo nice." Kurt said squinting a little to have a better look.
"Do you want one?" Jeff said laughing.
"Only if I hear the inside joke." Kurt said laughing and Jeff nodded.
"Vampires."
Kurt let out a laugh and threw his head back and Jeff just grinned.
"Vampires?" Kurt repeated laughing and Jeff nodded.
"Damn. Do you believe in that shit?" Kurt asked and Jeff let out another laugher. If only he knew
"Yeah I do." Jeff said smirking.
"What would you do if I was a vampire?" Jeff said laughing
"I wouldn't know I would be dead right?" Kurt said as a sob of laugh escaped his lips.
"True true." Jeff said licking his lips and laughing.
"Do you believe in it?" Jeff asked and Kurt turned to him.
"I would if I seen it with my own eyes. It's like fucking god isn't it?" Kurt said rolling his eyes.
"Jeff went for it." Wes said shaking his head in amusement
"He's Jeff. Of course he was going to slide it in to see how he would react." Blaine said smiling.
"I'm kinda worried at what he's gonna say. Jeff seems to be getting attached way to quickly." Nick said leaning picking up his drink
"Jeff knows what he's doing Nicky." Blaine said smiling
"I'm guessing you're not religious?" Jeff said smirking.
"Hell no." Kurt laughed
"Wanna tell me why?" Jeff said laughing.
"Don't get me started it I won't stop."
"Oh please do." Jeff laughed out.
"How can you believe something that you can't see with your own eyes? If god is some big powerful person who has the gift of creating life, who the fuck does he think he is taking it so easily?" Kurt said bluntly
Jeff was shocked. He wasn't just not religious, he despised it.
"Carry on." Jeff said tilting his head.
"If he's real, how can he take my mom away from me? How can he cause so much pain and suffering and then people fucking worship him like he's he's the greatest thing since sliced fucking bread." Kurt said laughing.
"And if he is real, I hope he hears me when I call him a fucking incompetent asshole."
Jeff threw his head forward to quickly and he fell on to the floor, the tears was steaming from his eyes and Kurt laughed and for on the floor with him.
"You're fucking funny you know that? I don't think you know how funny you are Kurt." Jeff said as he tried to get the sentence out.
"I like making people laugh." Kurt said smiling and Jeff nodded.
"Well you're doing a fucking good job at it." Jeff said smiling.

Jeff starting laughing again and Kurt threw his head back and laid on the floor and Jeff crawled over and laid next to him. They was both open mouthed laughing together and once they started they couldn't stop. It took twenty minutes for them to calm down.

Jeff lip started wobble and Kurt groaned.
"Fucking stop." Kurt said cleaning his throat and he felt his own eyes water.
"I can't." Jeff said as a sob escaped him lips.

Jeff started to laugh louder and any other sob escape his lips
"Fuck I'm going." Kurt said quickly laughing and Jeff rolled over and Kurt went into the bathroom and shut the door.

Jeff walked into the common room still laughing wiping away tears, they was too.
"Fuck me." Jeff said throwing his head back.
"Did you hear all of that? Fucking hell he's amazing." Jeff laughed out and walked over.
"Trust me baby, we've been the same." Nick said laughing and Jeff started laughing too.
"Even Wes cracked a few smiles." David said laughing and Wes rolled his eyes

"Don't you fucking start Sterling." Wes said laughing and they all started to laugh.
"Okay! He's pretty funny but that doesn't mean I have to like him." Wes said finally and then they all rolled their eyes.
"He goes from like zero into a hundred in a second." Blaine said laughing
"He'll be hard hard to handle." David said laughing too.
"Did you all hear what he said about you? Crazy." Jeff said softly
"How could be read us so easily?" Nick said shaking his head in disbelief.
"I think he's just good at it. He recognises it and can relate to it." Jeff said softly back and they all nodded.
"I really like him." Jeff said beaming and they all noticed how much he meant it.
"How did you handle being around him? The blood lust?" Nicky said into his ear.
"It was there but I didn't want to hurt him Nicky. That out weighted it." Jeff said smiling as he boyfriend squeezed his arm.

Kurt was grinning as he walked back into the bathroom. Jeff was a miracle worker. Everything just seen so much easier now.

Kurt decided to get a bath. It was the only thing that soothes him and then he heard a knocking on the door. He frowned and walked over and opened it.
"Hey." Blaine said smiling.
"I just thought I would let you know that we share a bathroom and I don't want to be walking in on you. So I'm gonna save you the embarrassment and let you know now." Blaine said laughing and Kurt laughed back.
"Oh god thank you." Kurt said as the blush traveled up his neck.
Blaine noticed but he didn't comment. He didn't want to embarrass him more. He thought it was adorable.
"You wanna sit with me while it runs?" Kurt questioned.
"Sure Kurt."
Blaine walked in and shut the door and Kurt placed himself on the floor, his back leaning on the bath and Blaine sat next to him.
"So we are roomies." Blaine said smiling at him and Kurt nodded.
"I take ages in the bathroom." Kurt said smiling at him.
"I can live with that." Blaine said laughing and kurt nodded.
"I tend to get hair gel everywhere. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
Kurt let out and laugh and leaned his head against the bath.
"I can live with that." Kurt said repeating his words.
He noticed the tapping and he smiled. He turned his head and looked at him. He seen him mouth numbers and his eyes was closed.
"Twenty questions?" Blaine said trying to ease him and Kurt laughed and nodded.
"Favourite dessert?" Blaine said smiling.
"Strawberry cheesecake." Kurt said quickly and closing his eyes.
"That was quick."
"It was a no brainer."
Blaine chuckled and turned his head to face him. He started to trace his face with his eyes. He was so beautiful.
"Favourite singer?"
"Katy Perry."
Kurt let out a laugh and turned his head.
"Really?"
"She's my idol." Blaine said grinning and Kurt laughed and rolled his eyes.
"Special talent?"
"I speak fluently in french is that counts."
"Damn. I wish I could I would know what David was saying then." Blaine said laughing
"David speaks it too?" Kurt said smiling and Blaine nodded.
"I've never met anyone else who speaks it." Kurt said grinning
"Oh I'm so happy right now." David said laughing
"Finally someone who can understand him." Nick said rolling his yes.
"Oh my god that's adorable." Jeff said clapping his hands together.
"Something you couldn't live without?"
"My friends." Blaine said proudly.
"That's cute." Kurt said laughing
"I love them." Blaine said turning his head towards him.
Kurt felt himself ease up too with Blaine but he was very nervous. Blaine was gorgeous and saying all the right things and his mind was on overdrive. He could feel the warmth of his arm and It was distracting him. He fingers started to tap harder and his grip become tighter on his other leg. Blaine glanced and seen him struggling.
"Favourite movie?"
Kurt took a few breaths before answering.
"The Sound Of Music."
Blaine grinned and tilted his head. "Really?"
"Mmm."
Kurt grip got tighter on his leg and it was starting to hurt and he felt his eyes water. Blaine watched him. His breathing was becoming laboured slighty and his grip was awfully tight. Blaine reached over and grabbed his hand and slotted his fingers into his. Kurt turned towards him. Blaine smiled and Kurt nodded slowly and he licked his lips nervously.
"Who's your best friend?" Kurt said shutting his eyes.
"Nicky."
"That was quick."
Blaine smirked. "No brainer."
Kurt let out a laugh and Blaine didn't think he had seen anything so wonderful. He glanced to his hand and the tapping had slowed down, it was only only every four seconds he was doing it.
"Something you like about yourself."
Blaine could see his finger starting to move quicker and Kurt let out a throaty laugh, it was thick with emotion.
"I don't know." Kurt said laughing
"There must be something you like?" Blaine said smiling sadly
"Sorry I've just never really thought about it before so I'm just taken back a little." Kurt said laughing and Blaine smiled.
"Probably my eyes." Kurt said after a few minutes
"You do have nice eyes." Blaine said smiling and rolled his eyes.
"I know I've just said." Shot back and Blaine just let out a laugher.
"That's adorable." Jeff said listening to them. Nick was playing with his hair softly and it was making him moan at the touch.
"We should all spend some time with him." Nick said into his hair. "It'll be really good for us all."
"Yeah I'm up for that. I've got tons to ask him." David said nodding his head.
"Wes?" Jeff asked turning to his friend.
"Do I have too?" Wes said looking at him.
"Wes, what's your problem man?" David said turning to him.
"I don't know David." Wes said turning to him and David nodded.
"You do know you just don't want to say it." David said smirking and Wes rolled his eyes.
"Shut up no you didn't?" Kurt said laughing and Blaine groaned in embarrassment.
"I sang around The Gap to him and then he rejected me. Awfully embarrassing." Blaine said laughing turning to him.
"His loss." Kurt said quickly and Blaine nodded.
"It sure is Kurt." Blaine said turning to him.
"Oh my fucking god." Kurt gasped as he felt the water over flow and tumbled out the bath onto him.
"Oh my." Blaine gasped up as he stood up and quickly turned the water off.
"Oh my I'm soaked." Kurt said in horror and Blaine was leaning against the wall crying in laughter. He was also soaked.
"My fault!" Blaine said winking at him and Kurt laughed as another blush trailed out his face.
"You're very distracting." Kurt said as he laughed at stood up and looking at him.
Blaine stopped laughing and smiled. He laugh was intoxicating. It made him want to laugh. He was glad there was a knock on the door because he was this close to leaning in and kissing him. Kurt turned and laughed lightly before turning around and walking back into his room and opening the door.
"Hey man." Nick said smiling.
"Hey Nick." Kurt said grinning.
"Why are you wet?" Nick laughed out as he looked between Blaine and Kurt. He knew what but it would be strange not to ask.
"I over flowed the bath." Kurt said rolling his eyes.

Kurt had for his things and made his way to the bathroom.

Nick leaning his head back on the door and closed his eyes. Kurt was a diamond. He was full of life but he could see the rough side before the diamond was cut.

"I don't back down from a challenge." Kurt added and Nick nodded.
"How did you sleep afterwards?
"I didn't for a week. It was horrendous. Watched it Monday, ended up looking like her by Friday."
"You're really funny Kurt." Nick said choking out a laughter.
"Like I told your boyfriend, I like to make people laugh. Kinda eases things." Kurt said smiling.
Kurt thought it would be weird doing this but he felt oddly comforted by Nick. He understood him.
"It does doesn't it?" Nick said closing his eyes and Kurt nodded.

Kurt had finished and had just for changed. His hair was soaking wet and he rolled his eyes. He cleaned up after himself and placed his stuff in his laundry basket and made his way back out.
"Thank you for staying with me Nick." Kurt said smiling
"It's no problem Kurt. David is on his way by the way he's just texted." Nick said smirking and Kurt laughed.
Kurt walked over and Nick stood up. Kurt glanced at him and he bit his lip.
"Can I hug you?" Kurt said and Nick frowned.
"You're asking to hug me?" Nick whispered
"Yeah I am." Kurt said looking back up to him.
Nick looked into his eyes. He knew something. He could tell. Nick licked his lips and looked away for a second.

"I'm meant to be making you feel better, not the other way round." Nick said closing his eyes and taking a dee breathe.
Kurt stepped around and wrapped his arms around him gently and Nick wrapped his arms quickly and placed his head in his neck and Kurt leaned into his ear.
"Courage."
Nick nodded into his neck and inhaled his scent. It was soothing him. They heard a knock on the door.
"Just a minute man." Nick shouted as he pulled back and placed a hand on his face and he seen Kurt close his eyes.
"Thank you."
Kurt nodded and Nick gently left out and walked away and opened the door. David could see that Nick was about to cry and David smiled and nodded.
"Thanks dude." David said as he entered to room.
"Baguette." David said smirking
"French toast." Kurt shot back and they both let out a laugh.
"I'm obsessed with you already." David said smirking as he sat down
"Merci."
David glanced up and smirked he leaned back on the sofa. His accent was thick. He was very shocked. It's sounded like it was his first language. David could speak it was nothing like he had heard and he needed to hear more.
"Comment vous senfez-vous?"
Kurt laughed and sat down and turned to him.
"I'm okay." Kurt smiled
"No. Say it in french. That accent is everything." David said laughing and Kurt rolled his eyes.
"Je vais bien! Beaucoup d'attention!" Kurt said dramatically and David choked out a shocked laugh. It was thick. Very thick.

Nick had just entered the room and sat down next to his best friend and boyfriend.
"He kills me." Nick said closing his eyes.

"Mom was from France. When I was five I started to pick it up." Kurt said smiling turning to him.

"I stopped and restarted again when I was twelve. It kinda just came naturally I guess. In the blood." Kurt said turning to him.
"You speak it beautifully Kurt."
"Thank you." Kurt said licking his nervously and laughing.
"Take the compliment." David said sternly and Kurt laughed again.
"Nope."
David chuckled and smiled at him. Very closed off.
"What about you?" Kurt asked sweetly
"I just kind of fell in love with the language. Picked it up at Dalton and it stuck." David said smiling
"That's great." Kurt said nodding and leaning his head back. "Do you speak any other?"
"Unfortunately not. I wish I could though." David said admittedly
"You should." Kurt said laughing

"No just french. My brain is fuzzy trying to think about learning another." Kurt said laughing
They chatted for another hour. David didn't realise how much he had in common with him. They chatted until there was a knock. David turned to Kurt and smirked.
"It was lovely getting to know you." Kurt said smiling and David nodded and pulled him into a hug.
"You too pétale."
Kurt laughed and threw is head back. "Always a pleasure chérie."
David laughed and walked over to the door and shook and opened it.
"Hey man." David said smirking.
"Hey." Wes said smiling.
"Make sure you come later Kurt!" David shouted as he walked out the room and Kurt laughed
David was back to the room in a flash.
"Man I need to hear this." David said laughing and sitting down.
"You're telling me." Nick said throwing his head back.
"Damn he's so nice." David said nodding.
Wes shut the door and turned him. They was just standing in front of eachother. Kurt started to get uncomfortable, his hands started to tap against his leg.
"Do I make you nervous." Wes said tilting his head.
"Nope. You make me uncomfortable." Kurt said bluntly turning towards him.
"I have that effect on people." Wes said smirking
"That's not a good thing Wesley." Kurt said glancing at him.
"Oh shit." Blaine said leaning back.
"I don't think I'm prepaid enough for this." Jeff said biting his lip.
"Wes won't go easy on him you all know that? Once he has made his mind up about sometime that's it." David said and they nodded in agreement.
"Wes doesn't like the fact he matches him." Nick said softly and they nodded and started to listen again.
"Why do I make you uncomfortable?" Wes said sitting down on the bed in front of Kurt who was still sitting on the sofa.

The silence was very uncomfortable and for the first time ever Wes felt uncomfortable too. He watched his fingers tap very aggressively against his leg and he swallowed.
"I don't like you." Wes said turning back up.
"I'm couldn't care less." Kurt said bitterly.
"Fuck me." David said wide eyes turning to them.
"Fuck he's feisty." Blaine said smirking
"He doesn't like competition either." Nick said laughing
"Mmm." Wes said nodding.
Kurt licked his lips and blew air out of him. He was getting really aggravated.
"You look pissed off. Have I upset you?" Wes said smirking turning his head towards him.
"Don't worry Welsey, you are nothing to get upset about." Kurt said bluntly turning to him.

Kurt laughed and placed a hand over his face in disbelief.

"Hey guys, wanna come and order food with us? We are getting pizza." Jeff said glancing between them both.
Kurt looked pissed and so did Wes. They was both staring at each other.
"Wes?" David said glancing at his friend but Wes didn't turn his head.
"Why don't I show you the library Kurt? You like to read don't you?" Blaine said trying to break the conflict but it was raging.
Kurt laughed and shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere until he tells me what his problem is."
They was taken back by it. They knew he was an emotional person but he really didn't give a fuck. Wes was getting to him and Kurt was getting to Wes.
"Can't I just not like you?" Wes said bluntly and the others just rolled their eyes.
"You don't know me, you don't have a right to not like me." Kurt said as he flexed his hand. He felt numb from tapping so much.
"I do have the right because it's my opinion. If you don't like that then that's your problem, not mine Kurtis." Wes said sitting back down.

"Let's calm down now okay?" Nick said cutting him off and walking over and sitting down. The others joined and Jeff and Nick sat next to Kurt and David and Blaine sat next to Wes.
Wes stood up and Kurt laughed.
"Sit back down we are not done Welsey."
Wes laughed and nodded and sat back down. The others was interested even though they didn't want to admit it. They wanted to hear them talk. As bad as it sounded it was entertaining. Wes lifted his gaze to Kurt and smiled
"Stop smiling, it's insufferable." Kurt added and the others laughed a little as they couldn't control it.
"And you wonder why people don't like you?" Wes said smiling
Kurt looked at him and swallowed. He felt like he was this close and punching the fuck out of his face.
"People don't like me for reasons, you have yet to give me one." Kurt said rolling his eyes
"You're sarcastic and boarder line bitchy. I don't like that. Actually scrap that you are bitchy." Wes said smirking.
"Is that it?" Kurt laughed out and nodded. "I expected better to be honest but I guess you can't say much more because you don't know me right?"
The others smirked and lowered there heads. Kurt was never going to back down. David could see Wes getting ready to push hard and he was worried.
"I don't need to know you to have an opinion on you. You try and be funny to cover up your pain and it's cowardl-
"Wes." David said sternly but he continued.
"Cowardly. You might have fooled all these with your sob stories but it doesn't fool me. I believe if you've got something to say then say it. Don't you?" Wes said and they all groaned
"Okay you wanna play it that way?" Kurt said laughing and Wes nodded with a smirk.
"You're a fucking asshole." Kurt said bluntly and they all looked up to him.
"Trust me, you're suffering just as much as me I can see it in your eyes. If I'm a coward, you're a fucking coward Welsey. The whole formalities thing you've got going on? Why do you do that? Most likely approval right? Oh and the whole I don't give a fuck attitude? I can see right through it. I know heartbreak when I see it."
They all swallowed and looked to Wes. Kurt was right. Everything he said was right and it was getting to Wes hard.
"You don't know Jack shit." Wes said glaring at him.
"Oh shit I hit a nerve didn't i?" Kurt said bluntly
Wes laughed and stood up. "Stand up."

"Stand up Hummel." Wes said sternly and Kurt laughed and nodded.
Kurt stood up and made his way over casually. He wasn't going to let him get to him and he sure as hell wasn't going to loose. Kurt walked right up to him and lifted his head and stared right into his eyes.
"You wanna go there?" Wes said stepping closer trying to intimate him but Kurt didn't move.
"Oh yeah I wanna go there." Kurt shot back with a smile.
"Why did you transfer Hummel?" Wes said and their heads snapped up.
"That's none of your business Welsey." Kurt spat out.
"Oh shit. I hit a nerve didn't I?" Wes said smirking leaning into his face.
Kurt laughed and shook his head. He stepped forward so there faces was inches apart and the others got ready to get up.
"Do you get a kick out of this?" Kurt said tilting his head to the side.
"Great pleasure." Wes said smirking
"Who broke that heart of yours?" Kurt whispered into his face and Wes pushed him back forcefully and Jeff and Nick jumped up and steadied Kurt.
"That's it isn't it Welsey? Huh?" Kurt said laughing
"Back off or I'll take your head of your fucking shoulders." Wes said sternly
"Don't come at me if you can't take it. I give as good as I get Montgomery. Oh and by the way? You push like a girl."
Wes lunged forward and David pulled him back forcefully.
"Don't you dare." David said into his ear and Wes laughed.
"He's not worth it anyway. I actually like my clothes, ruining them with his blood would be a waste." Wes said before grinning at Kurt and walking out.
David and Blaine said sorry to Kurt and he left quickly after him. Kurt was breathing heavily and his eyes was shut and his hand was tapping so hard on his leg they was sure it was going to bruise. Jeff placed a hand on his shoulder and leaned down so he could look at him in the eyes.
"You've got claws, you know that?" Jeff said smirking and Kurt relaxed and opened his eyes.
"I can't stop once I get started." Kurt whispered and placed a hand on his chest.
"Damn." Nick said he heard his heart beat thump through his body. He leaned down and grabbed hold of his hand to stop the tapping and grabbed it firmly.
"Are you okay sweetie?" Jeff said reaching and placing a hand on his face. Kurt licked his lips and nodded.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry. He pushed you and you pushed back. No one is judging you for that." Jeff said caressing his thumb on his face and they could see Kurt relaxing at the touch.
"I am a bitch." Kurt choked out with a laugh and they nodded.
"It's refreshing." Nick said into his ear.
"Damn Kurt you went for it." Jeff said laughing
"I don't like confrontation. It makes me uncomfortable and when I get uncomfortable it makes me snap." Kurt said closing his eyes and they nodded.
"I don't like being pushed around, it makes me feel weak." Kurt whispered as his eyes stayed closed.
"What the fuck was you thinking Wes?" David said in shock as they walked into the common room.
"What so this is my fault? He gave as good as he got." Was laughing in disbelief.
"You pushed him Wes." Blaine said shaking his head.
"It's a good job you came or it I would have done more than push him." Wes said angrily.
"You went in there knowing full well you was going to agitate him." Blaine said walking over to him.
"He fucking pushed me blaine. What did you expect me to do?" Wes shouted angrily.
"He gets to you doesn't he? I've never seen you like this Wes." David said calming placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I don't ever get challenged." Wes said and they nodded.
"Whatever I'm not talking about this." Wes said walking over and sitting in the sofa.
Blaine and David looked at eachother and nodded and walked over and sat with him.
"What's irritating you more? The fact that he has seen right through you or the fact he didn't back down from you, even when you got aggressive?" David said and Wes laughed.
"Both."
"Why?" Blaine said softly
"He shouldn't know that shit. He doesn't just get to walk in here and just know by looking at me." Wes said leaning back and closing his eyes.
"He didn't flitch when I pushed him. It was like he was use to it. That's not normal." Wes opening his eyes and looking at them.
"We seen that too Wes." Blaine said leaning over and placing a hand on his knee.
"He's got fire burning through his veins and I think he needed it." Wes added.

"Yeah." Wes said looking down.
"Damn Wes." Blaine said leaning back and staring at his friend in shock.
"He has anger that I've never seen before. It is deep in his heart like mine is to me. Trust me when I say this, I don't like him but I feel sorry for him." Wes said swallowing
"You was trying to ease his pain." David said grinning.
"I'll never be able to be his friend. We clash too much and it's dangerous but I can be civil." Wes said and they nodded.
"What an eventful year we are going to have guys." Blaine said smirking.
