Hello readers. This will be a Sofia the First fanfic story that focuses on Sofia, her family and new friends. That addition of the OC's has given me an idea to make this better, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
It was a beautiful afternoon in the Kingdom of Enchancia. A young teenage princess named Sofia who was with the rest of her family are having lunch with their Aunt Tilly. Tilly had told them stories of her great adventures and also told them ancient stories of how the beings known as the Celestials who first created the Mystic Isles and it's magic before they disappeared.
It has been five years since Sofia saved her kingdom from Vor. Now, Sofia, her stepsister Princess Amber and stepbrother Prince James were grown into young adults.
"And that's the story of how the Celestials created the Mystic Isles." Tilly said finishing her story.
"That is a very good story, Aunt Tilly." Sofia said with her smile.
It's so brilliant!" James said.
"And what an interesting epic story." Amber agreed.
"Hey Tilly." Sofia asked. Tilly turns to her niece. "Are the Protectors were created by Celestials?"
"Yes, and they serve as the guardians of magic so anything won't fall in the wrong hands." Tilly explained.
"Now that's the thing I haven't heard about that until now." King Roland said.
"So Sofia. How's everything going with your training in the Mystic Isles?" Queen Miranda asked her daughter.
"It's so good. Chrysta had given me some of my missions and it took me a while to rest after that." Sofia explained her story.
It's tough to work as a Protector is it, dear sister?" Amber asked.
"Trust me, if you could be a Protector like me, it's a big responsibility." Sofia said.
Just then, Baileywick the castle steward came along with a woman behind him. The woman has her blue eyes and a long golden hair. She wore her scarlet skintight sleeveless top, scarlet pants with scarlet knee length boots and her scarlet elbow length gloves. She wore her scarlet eye mask on her eyes. She has her sheathed katana on her belt. This woman is none other than Scarlett Katherine Felchenerow, also known as the legendary Scarlet Warrior.
"Your Majesties. Queen Scarlett Felchenerow of Cinnibar." Baileywick introduced. Sofia smiled as she rushes to hug Scarlett which she laughs and hugs her with her smile.
"It's so good to see you, Scarlett." Sofia said.
"Good to see you too, my young apprentice." Scarlett said.
"Please Scarlett, have a seat." Roland said as the two sit in their chairs. "So what brings you here in Enchancia?"
"Oh just taking care of the crime scenes in all around the Ever Realm. I already took care some criminals who were plotting to take over other kingdoms so now I took a day off for the rest of the weekend." Scarlett explained.
"Why that's a very good news." Tilly said.
"Does that mean you can hang out with us?" Sofia asked Scarlett.
"Yes." Scarlett replied. "I get to hang out with you and your siblings."
"Brilliant!" James exclaimed in glee.
"Sounds like fun!" Amber said, excited. Sofia smiled because her mentor has finally take a day off from her missions and gets to hang out with her and her siblings.
Somewhere in the sky, came a flying airship the size of the largest galleon ship flying in the air. This airship is full of knight soldiers dressed in silver armor with their helmets on.
Inside of this ship are the two girls running in the airship.
The first one is the tall woman with long dark blonde hair and red eyes. She wore her silver armor and her blue cape. She wields her rapier sword in her right hand.
Holding her hand is the young teenage girl with long turquoise hair and light blue eyes. She was dressed in her white top short dress and her dark blue amulet around her neck. She has her long golden bracers on her arms and runs barefoot without any shoes or slippers.
They saw three soldiers charging at them with their swords. The woman charges at them and slashes them with her rapier. She turned to the girl as she extended her hand.
"Lyria!" The woman shouted. The girl Lyria runs to her as she grabs the woman's hand as they continue to run.
"Katalina!" Lyria cried.
"Just hang in there, Lyria. Stay with me and everything's going to be all right." Katalina said. They kept running until they stopped at the hangar. Katalina peeks her head to see if there's no soldiers around. They continue to run.
"Oh, there's no escape for the both of you." A voice said as the two stopped in their tracks. They looked up to see and elder man with dark grey short hair and black eyes. He was dressed in his silver uniform with a dark cape. He wore his dark trousers and dark boots. He has his sheathed sabre and a gun in his belt. The soldiers came to surround them, pointing their crossbows at them.
"You made a great mistake taking the girl away from me, Lieutenant Katalina." The man said. "Although, you already know what happens when someone is taking things that's not theirs."
The man held a dark purple crystal that glows, which causes Lyria's amulet glowed in purple as she screamed in pain. Katalina looked at Lyria in shock.
" Lyria!" Katalina shouted as she looked at the man in anger. "Stop this! Damn you, Malcolm! That is enough!"
"Sorry. No can do, lieutenant." Malcolm said with an evil grin. "We were this close to do our research to unlock the secrets of the girl's amulet and you have a guts to do the big mistake."
As then, Lyria's amulet glows blue as her eyes glows in blue. The purple crystal glows brightly as Malcolm looks at it and in the few moments, the crystal exploded, causing a big explosion that destroys the hangar. However, the explosion sends Lyria outside of the broken part of the airship, falling down unconscious. As she fall down, the light glows as her whole body hovers down to the forest.
In the village of Dunwiddie, Sofia, Scarlett, James and Amber are sitting at the bench, eating a box of cupcakes that they got from the bakery.
"Mmm. This cupcake is very good." Sofia said.
"Yeah, it's delicious." James agreed.
"It reminds me that when I was Sofia's age, my parents take me to Cinnibar City to the bakery where they make a greatest cupcake that's ever made of." Scarlett explained her story.
"What is your favorite cupcake?" Sofia asked Scarlett.
"One of my favorites is the Red Dragon Cherry Cupcake." Scarlett said with a smile.
"Cool." Amber said in awe.
James was finishing his cupcake as he looked up to the sky and notice that he saw a huge airship above them.
"Whoa! Hey guys, check that out!" James said. the three were looked up to see the airship flying above the village. They gasp in shock and awe as they never see a airship like that before.
"That's the airship!" Sofia said.
"And a very big one too." Amber agreed.
"But's what's it doing here in Dunwiddie?" Scarlett asked. As then, they saw the explosion coming from the bottom of the airship. Sofia gasp as she saw a light coming from it as it floating down in the sky.
"Did you see that light?" Sofia asked.
"Yeah, but where did that come from?" Amber asked as they see the light coming down to the forests.
"I don't know, but it's heading to the forests." Scarlett said as she turned to the two royals. "You guys go warn your father about this. Sofia and I will go to the forests to see what it is."
"Right. Let's go, James!" Amber said as the two ran back to the castle while Sofia and Scarlett are heading to the forests to investigate.
Sofia and Scarlett were at the forests to find the source of the light. They just saw a light that glows as it was hovering down from the sky.
"I have never seen a light that glows before." Sofia said.
"Me too." Scarlett replied.
"But what do you think what the light is?" Sofia asked.
"Whatever that light is, Sofia, we had to find it before somebody else does." Scarlett said as they kept walking. In the few moments, they see a light glowing again. "There it is again. Let's go."
Sofia and Scarlett were heading to where the light is as it faded away. They stopped at their tracks and when they did, Sofia gasp as she and Scarlett can't believe what they saw. It was a young turquoise blue hair girl lying unconscious on the grass.
"It's the girl!" Sofia said as they rushed to check on her. Sofia lays her head on top of the girl's chest. She can hear the heartbeat pumping which means she's okay.
"Is she all right?" Scarlett asked.
"Yes. She's okay." Sofia said as she gently shaking the girl. "Hey. Wake up."
The girl murmured before starting to wake up. She looks to see both Sofia and Scarlett were looking at her. She gasps as she slowly crawled backwards in fear.
"Hey hey hey, it's okay. We're not going to hurt you." Sofia reassured the girl.
"Tell me, sweetheart. Did you get yourself knocked out or something?" Scarlett asked the girl.
"Maybe, I don't know." The girl said, placing her hand on her forehead. "My head feels a little fuzzy but otherwise. I'm fine, I think."
Sofia looked at the girl's blue amulet on her neck. She then remembered something.
"Wait a minute. Are you the one that fell from the airship?" Sofia asked the girl.
"That explains why the light glows from your amulet." Scarlett said, making sense. "Anyway, allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Queen Scarlett of Cinnibar and this is my apprentice Princess Sofia of Enchancia. But you can call us Sofia and Scarlett "
"What is your name?" Sofia asked.
"Lyria." Lyria said. Then she gasp as she remembers her name. "My name's Lyria."
"Lyria. Can you tell us where did you came from." Scarlett asked Lyria. "Tell us you can remember."
"Well, I was in the dark room for a very long time, and Katalina said she will find a way to get me out of here." Lyria explained as she continues. "So we were running and they were chasing us. Katalina and I..." She gasped at that moment that she forgot about Katalina. "Oh no. Katalina! Do you know where to find her?"
"Katalina?" Sofia asked as she don't know who this 'Katalina' person is.
"What does Katalina look like, Lyria?" Scarlett asked.
"Let's see. She strong, beautiful and she protected me." Lyria explained.
"All right then. Let's go." Sofia said as she extended her hand to Lyria. Lyria took Sofia's hand as she pulled her up.
"Don't worry. We'll help you find Katalina." Scarlett said. "But stay close to us, because this forests is full of wild animals. So do you want to come to the village with us?"
"Over here! I found her!" A voice said. The three turned to see two knights coming in the forests.
"Knights? No. Soldiers?" Scarlett asked.
"Soldiers in the forests?" Sofia also asked.
"Oh no." Lyria said. Both Sofia and Scarlett looked at her. "Please, we have to run away!"
"Are those the soldiers that were chasing after you?" Sofia asked, which Lyria nodded.
"Don't worry, Lyria. Stay behind with Sofia and I will take care of this." Scarlett said as Lyria stood behind of Sofia while Scarlett stands in front of her. The soldiers run up to them.
"Who do you think you are?" The soldier asked as he placed his hand on his sword. "Get out of our way and hand over that girl!"
Scarlett unsheathes her katana as she points at them. "You want her, you're going have to get through me first." Scarlett said, readies her katana.
Fine then, woman. You are in the world of pain." The soldier said as he unsheathed his sword as both Scarlett and the soldier are in they ready stance.
And that wraps the first chapter.
For those who were wondering, My OC's Lyria and Katalina were inspired by the characters from 'Granblue Fantasy' video games and series so I used them in this story.
