Lightning and Sally are at Cruz's house celebrating her career that she has to put on hold for a little bit. Lightening with his fire red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He usually wears his red jumpsuit but because it is a party he is wearing his blue jeans and a red shirt. Mainly because Sally said she would ban sex from him if he didn't put on some normal clothes. Cruz wanted people in casual clothing. Sally kisses his cheek happy that he agreed to wear normal clothing today. She usually is in a blue jacket, a white dress suit and blue business pants to match the business jacket. Since she owns the hotel back home, she wanted to be taken seriously. Today she is in blue jeans and a white shirt that isn't seen through. Which she is happy about because she doesn't want anyone to see her tramp stamp. Which is true, Sally hasn't been with her family since she broke down and he hasn't seen his family since he became a racer.
"But you moved in together two years ago.." says Cruz.
This is also true, they decided two years ago that they were stable enough in this relationship to live together. They got a four bedroom house just in case they wanted to expand their family but also have a spare room for Mater to stay in if he ever wanted to spend the night. "Sally, you took a chance on me years ago and was a genuine friend to me when Mater trusted me. If it wasn't for you I would be rotting in a jail cell, you took a chance on me. I am glad that you took a chance on a spoiled bratty young driver. You are a wonderful woman and I hope to be a wonderful man by your side until the end of time. I would be honored if you agree to marry me, I love you so much," says Lightning.
She tries hard not to cry because that isn't the type of person she is. She is red from ear to ear though as she nods her yes to him.
