The Devilish Duo

So this Fanfic is inspired by the fact that in FPS games eith my brother, Despite the sheer amount of salt and bickering, we still make a deadly pair, So I decided to make this series of short stories using two OCs that are inspired by me and my brother, The first chapter is a summary of what mine and his strengths and weaknesses are and what classes we will have similarities to

The Character's Names are Anthony and James, Anthony is inspired by me and James is inspired by my brother

In FPS games I take one of two routes, Spray'n'pray or Demolitions/traps, Spray'n'pray is generally when I use a LMG with a high fire rate and a massive clip, Demolitions/Traps is when I take a "stealthier" option and lay high explosive traps, Or as I like to call it "me being lazy and effective"

My brother, Is the cursed love child of spy and sniper, You won't see him standing two feet in front of you and he'll pop your melon like a water balloon 5 clicks out

But without a melee or reliable shotgun he is kinda schiesse at close range in games, Not like you'll ever get close though

So in the First story which will be like an Introduction to the characters backstories which actually have nothing to do with me or my brother, It's reasons of becoming a merc as well as first interactions between The OCs and the mercs, I'll describe the personalities of them in this segment though

James and Anthony are two sides of one coin, Yin and Yang

While to new people they are both relatively quiet but for different reasons, Anthony stays quiet to get a read on you as a person and James because you don't interest him enough for him to speak to you

Though in combat, Anthony can be reckless or methodical, James is effective but a lone-wolf, "Allies get me seen"

Outside of Combat, Anthony, when not focused, is laid back and relatively calm until Provoked, When focused, Anthony prefers to be alone and will not speak to anyone besides his partner

James is very similar outside of combat but just in general wants to be left alone, He is often either practicing a guitar or reading a book

Anthony's main Arsenal is variable, The primary slot is referred to as "Specialty weapon" due to the weapon in this slot switching the playstyle, This is either an LMG or a type of Explosive launcher, The secondary is taken up by universal secondary weapons, The melee is either a hammer or Axe

James' arsenal has a long range primary and a close quarters secondary, Most likely a shotgun, James' melee is a shortsword or katana

Both Anthony and James carry a unique gadget, Anthony's is a disintegration shield, it can hold for 5 seconds and charges for 15 seconds, no weapons can be used with it and all bullets and projectiles that pass through it are destroyed, James' is a pair of goggles that allow James to see targets that are invisible or Disguised for 3 seconds, but it also takes 15 seconds to charge but weapons can but used by James while his goggles are active
