This is based off of the song "Queen of Mean" by Sarah Jeffery.

Someone can only be pushed so far. So far until they snap. So far until they realize they can't be the person that people think of them as.

And Marinette Dupain-Cheng has reached that point. "Tikki! Everything seems so wrong with this!" She grabbed the back of her head as she sobbed.

"Marinette, it'll be okay," Tikki tried to calm the girl down.

"NO! IT WON'T I ACTUALLY HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH CAT NOIR AND I CAN'T EVEN TELL HIM BECAUSE HE'S NO LONGER IN LOVE WITH ME!" Marinette cried. "And don't forget, Kagami and Adrien are dating now." Tears streamed down Marinette's cheeks.

"Marinette, you're going to get akumatised!" Tikki warned.

"He can't akumatised me if I have my yo-yo," Marinette said, "Tikki, spots on!" Ladybug jumped away, swinging her yo-yo far and fast. She didn't care where she was going, she was just going. She found herself on the Eiffel Tower. And she broke down, landing on her knees, and tears spilling everywhere.

"CATACLYSM!" Cat Noir's voice echoed. Ladybug looked up to see Cat Noir balancing above her, fist closed, ashes in it. "You were going to get akumatised."

"Kitty…" Ladybug looked away. "Go away." Cat Noir's beautiful emerald eyes filled with tears. His usual smile was nowhere to be seen. And all because of Ladybug.

"M'lady, what did I do?" Cat Noir asked.

"Go. A. Way." Cat Noir looked shocked. But, slowly, his heart pounding in his chest, he ran away, tears streaming. Ashes fell on Ladybug's head, but she didn't care. Everything began to close in around her. "Hawkmoth, I've given up on being Ladybug." Her quiet voice seemed to carry, by another butterfly.

Only minutes later, did Hawkmoth appear. Well, technically, Shadowmoth. "You are willing to give me your miraculous?"

Ladybug looked at him, not covering her puffy red eyes. "On one condition."

Cat Noir came back, shouting for her to stop, but Ladybug used her yo-yo to trap him.

"What is your condition?" Shadowmoth asked.

"You give me the butterfly." This brought silence. What would Shadowmoth say?

"Deal. Nooroo, dark wings, fall." Now Shadowmoth only had the peacock on. He pulled off the brooch, and had a hand out to Ladybug. Cameras were focused on the scene.

"Don't bemused, its just the news, this is Nadja Shomock, and the scene before us we see Shadowmoth giving up his miraculous," Nadja reported, and the cameras focused on Ladybug, who took off her earrings. When the transformation fell, it earned a gasp from almost all of Paris.

Marinette would never give up. Yet, Ladybug was Marinette. And she was giving up. Marinette's fist held the earrings tightly, and Shadowbird (IDK) held out the butterfly brooch. After moments hesitation, Marinette dropped her earrings into Shadowbird's hand and took the brooch. She placed it on her coat, and shouted, "Nooroo! Dark wings! Rise!" Purple light engulfed the girl, and Marinette became Lady Butterfly.

"Marinette!" Cat Noir called. Tears streamed continuously down his face.

"Fly my little butterfly," Lady Butterfly said, the butterfly flew into Cat Noir's bell. "Cat Blanc, I love you. Stay by my side and there will be nothing we can't accomplish." Purple muck grew around Cat Noir, and his black faded to white. His green eyes turned blue. His yellow hair turned white. Cat Blanc was still sobbing, and Lady Butterfly kneeled down next to him, and kissed his nose.

Sad and depressing, just the way I like it. I might do some other one-shots with Lady Butterfly, and since the details to Marinette's breaking wasn't really there I might add a prequel one-shot. But, I like the ending and hope to see comments!
