Hey, this is my first time writing a Klance and this dedicated to all my friends, my found family and all those who have supported me. I want to portray an important message in this which will come later but for now, enjoy the fluff…it won't last, I mean, what? Of course, it'll last, you all see my baby halo right? :P But have fun reading this, guys.

1. Ours

"Here, Keith, try holding it," Lance said, placing the baby lamb into his boyfriend's hands. "It's okay, just relax." He chuckled a bit as Keith seemed a little nervous about it but knew he had only recently gotten used to the farm. It took him a few minutes to get a grip on the lamb as he gently set it down with the other lambs as well. He kept an eye on him though in case he needed any help but after seeing that he was okay, he moved to attend to a few other duties. Surrounding himself with the people he loved, including his new boyfriend, family, and everyone else, made him feel like life had gotten a lot better. The sacrifice that Allura had made back then as much as it had hurt was the reason, they were all here today.

He had never thought he would be able to fall in love again. Allura was the first person – well, alien, he supposed that he had learnt to love in that way and losing her had struck him deeply. But after the war, Keith often visited New Altea after his Blades missions. Keith would talk a lot about his Dad and how he had felt when Shiro had disappeared on the Kerberos mission and the battle with Zarkon, while he would talk about Allura. In those moments, Lance felt as if he weren't really alone. That it was okay to feel sad, despite understanding why it had to happen. Besides, Keith understood him.

"I miss her too," Keith admitted softly. "Allura helped me accept myself for who I am and own it. She'll always be with us though."

It was true as well. Allura was always there – with them and with the other Paladins. She would always be a member of the team, the Blue Paladin of Voltron. It was because of this they had retained the close bond they had with the lions and with each other. If the Blades ever needed back-up, he and Pidge were usually the first ones to come to Keith's aide in the Red and Green Lions since Hunk wasn't a huge fan of fighting and didn't like to get involved unless something was really life-threatening. Shiro was just too busy.

"Lance, are you okay?" Keith's voice brought him out of thinking of how things had come to develop in the past.

Lance blinked, finishing what he was doing and returning to Keith's side. "Yeah, why?"

Keith shrugged. "You kind of looked out of it for a moment." He smirked slightly. "I mean, not that it's anything new, given it's you but…"

Lance put a hand to his heart, giving an overly dramatic gasp causing Keith to laugh. "You wound me, Mullet. I'm always alert and focused." Mullet had become an affectionate nickname between the two because it may have not been the healthiest way of starting their friendship, but it was what had been their beginning.

Keith rolled his eyes at this. "I don't have a mullet, you know that, Lance." His voice sounded fond rather than exasperated and it was that which had made Lance realise it wasn't something that his boyfriend considered offensive. He would stop immediately the day that happened after all.

Lance chuckled and shrugged, reaching out and brushing his fingers through Keith's ponytail gently, playing with it in his hand. "Yeah, you don't. But it's nice calling you that. It feels like it's ours." Was that too possessive? Maybe, but what was wrong with that? This was theirs, after all, meant for no one else to share but them.

Keith's cheeks flushed pink at this, opening his mouth to speak but quickly closing it again, almost as if he had run out of the words to say. He tried this a few more times but, in the end, he just reached out, grabbing a hold of Lance's hand.

"Ours," he managed to say, voice oddly shy and it sounded like a mere mumble, but Lance was able to hear it and he got it. Keith wasn't as expressive as he was, but through these little actions, he showed his feelings and this was more than enough for him.
