My Drabbles Collection (pt 2)

by Maria Stars

Disclaimer: I only own my OC Maria Stars. All Genshin characters are owned by Mihoyo.

Note: These are all mine unless noted. They come from my story bits or ideas spot in my server. I get inspired by most anything. Usually pics, videos, and music are my biggest inspirations. If I remember where it came from, I'll note it.

This one is a pic that my best bud Ruki found. It's likely in my fanart part.

lol Albedo wearing that black outfit made me think of this.

Maria and Albedo are walking along a street and she asked him, "Why black?"

He opens his mouth to answer when she said, "Don't say, "It's to hide the blood." I've heard that one before."

He chuckled a bit then said, "To hide me at night... mostly."

This was from in game actually. This spot exists in game.

Maria had brought Albedo out to a favorite spot she'd discovered. It's a little island a fair distance from the shore of Yaoguang Shoal. There's a rock formation in the shape of a heart and it made her think of him.

Once they'd gotten there Maria showed it to him. "Here it is!" She stood in the middle and smiled at him.

He chuckled lightly. "I see." He walked over to it and observed it carefully. "Must've been done by a person."

"Yea, I'd say so." She tilted her head.

Albedo walked around the structure while Maria watched him.

She couldn't help but giggle. He looked up at her. "Come over here. Stand where I am."

He walked over to her. "Ok, stay there." Then she walked to the other side and pulled out a device he didn't quite recognize. She pushed a button on it and it flew into the air.

"What is it?" The blonde asked her.

"A camera that can fly and take pics in the air."

"Ah. You have the most interesting gadgets." He smiled.

"They are quite interesting." She looked at the flying device for a moment. "Ok, just look at me."

"Ok." He replied. The device whirled around and took several pictures.

"Ok, I'm good now." She smiled sweetly. "Thanks for humoring me."

"You take beautiful pictures so I'm happy to oblige." He returned her smile with one of his own.

"I would like to sketch you now." He looked around for a good spot. As he turned around he saw the remnants of a pillar. "I'm sure that would provide the perfect spot."

"Yea, that would make a great vantage point." She looked at him, "Do you need help getting up there? I'd hate to see you get hurt."

"You worry too much." He started to walk over there. "I'll be fine... besides," he turned his head to look at her, "you'll catch me if I fall."

She laughed, "You're incorrigible! Of course I will!"

He climbed up the pillar, safely reaching the top. Maria watched him the whole time. He chose his spot to sit then said, "Stand in the middle and look up at me."

She complied. When he was finished she flew up and there and looked at his art. "You make me look good. Your art is SO amazing."

"I only draw what I see." He smiled at her. "I see a beautiful lady sitting next to me."

She blushed then giggled. "God, I love you." Then she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. He did the same.

This one was inspired by Ruki and I's talk about a "shelter from the storm" story.

"I smell rain." A brunette lady said to the blonde next to her.

The blonde boy looked up from his sketch and said, "Yes, it appears the sky is getting dark."

"Let's get out of here." She grabbed her stuff. The blonde did the same. They headed down from their high spot and just as they reached the bottom, it started to rain.

It was a gentle enough rain at first and the brunette was laughing as they ran through the rain. The blonde boy couldn't help but smile at her joy. Then, with nary a warning came a very loud CLAP of thunder.

The brunette suddenly froze in her tracks. Her hands went up to her ears, covering them. She gasped kinda loudly. "Maria! Are you alright?"

Maria couldn't reply... she stood startled by the loud clap of thunder. The blonde put his arm around her and got her to move forward towards the cave they'd noticed on the way to the spot they were at before.

They finally got inside and Maria seemed to have calmed down a little at least. Another loud clap of thunder had her whimper and go as far into the cave as she could. She sat down at the back of the cave.

The blonde looked out of the cave at the dark, rainy sky and thought, "So thunder bothers her but rain doesn't?" Then he went over and sat next to her.

He put his arm around her and tried to comfort her. "Why does it bother you? It can't hurt you."

"It's loud and scary." She was shaking slightly, though he wasn't sure if it was from being wet or scared. "...Also, bad memories."

He pulled her legs across his and hugged her tightly. "I'm here with you. I'll keep you safe."

She leaned into him. "Thank you."

This next one is inspired by various pics of people putting flowers in other's hair.

Maria and Albedo were out together and they went to Starsnatch Cliff. Albedo sat and sketched while Maria entertained herself. She wondered around and looked out over the ocean then over the fields that brought them there. She picked a few Cecilias growing around then went over and sat down by Albedo.

She mused about what to do with the lovely flowers she picked. Then she had an idea. She got up with one flower in her hand, leaving the rest on the ground, then stepped over and very carefully, ever so gently, tucks it into Albedo's braid. Giggling, she said, "It suits you."

"Hmm?" He responded, turning his head.

She touches her head on the left to indicate where to look and he reaches up and touches the flower she had put into his hair a moment before. "Oh. You put a flower in my hair." He chuckled lightly.

She smiled. "It looks really nice. Your braid holds it in place."

"Shame I can't do the same for you. It would look lovely in your hair."

"You could always... braid my hair." She looked away blushing lightly.

"I thought you didn't like people touching your hair?"

"You're not just anyone... you're my sweetheart and I know you'll be gentle." She met his gaze for a moment.

He smiled, "I promise to be very gentle."

She sat down with her back to him and took out her hair clip. Her hair fell down and shone in the sunlight. She was glad she had washed it yesterday. He turned around properly and gently took her hair in his hands.

He started to separate it so that he could braid it. Maria felt a slight tug and silently winced, balling up her left hand as the only visible sign. Her hand was just in his line of sight and he caught the movement.

"Even as smooth as my gloves are, they're pulling her hair." He thought. He stopped and removed his gloves then went back to work. It all went smoothly after that. "I'm done. Bring me the flowers."

"Ok!" She got up, stepped over to the flowers, bent down and picked them up then turned around only to see him without his gloves on. He didn't miss her surprised look.

"They were pulling your hair." She stepped back over to him, leaned down and kissed him.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." Then she sat back down and he put the flowers in her hair. "They look quite lovely indeed."

This one here is just inspired by Venti's canon lines about playing in the rain.

-Playing in the Rain-

Maria and Albedo were out walking in Windrise's open field in the light rain. There was an open umbrella being held between them so they didn't get too wet. They chatted pleasantly and enjoyed each other's company. Faint laughter can be heard in the distance though.

"I hear laughing. Someone's having fun."

"I don't hear it. You have much better hearing than I do." Albedo commented.

"Yea, I guess so." She smiled.

They walked towards the laughter and when they got close enough Maria said, "That's Venti! I recognize that laugh!"

Sure enough, when they got even closer they saw him. The bard clad in green was jumping around and laughing. He looked like he was having fun splashing in the puddles.

Maria giggled, "Looking good Venti!"

Venti stopped and looked toward the voice. When he saw Maria he said, "Hey Maria! Come play with me!"

She wanted to but she's with her boyfriend, she didn't want to just leave him. So she stood there and watched him instead.

"Do you want to go play?"

"Yea, but I don't want to leave you."

"I appreciate that. Go play though." He smiled. She leaned over and kissed his cheek then ran off to go play with Venti. They jumped around and splashed in the puddles laughing.

So that's all for this collection. I hope you enjoy them!
